A new chapter in my life has began.
Now i goes to college and i heard about tumblr app for posting and blogging. I didn't know this app and i don't know how get someone of time. Well, I am here and know about thing .yeah I talking about i went to visit Indiagate.

The India Gate (formerly known as All India War Memorial) is a war memorial located near the Kartavya path on the eastern edge of the "ceremonial axis" of New Delhi, formerly called duty path.
The weather was getting pleasant on the day I was about to go to India Gate.  Me and my friend and my friend's sister went together.  We were all going to India Gate together.  To go for a walk and we reached that path, then suddenly the weather started blowing windy and a drop of rain🌨 fell on my eyelid and it started falling drop💧 by drop. But I said, come what may, today we have come.  To roam around, we will definitely go around, even if we get wet.  my friend my friend started laughing and saying yes yes why not in a while the weather got a little sunny and the weather became pleasant then we started roaming around India Gate and we took lots of pics.

All the flowers were beautiful colorful and there were many people there we had a lot of fun and then we got hungry because we had left early in the morning so we were hungry then we went to find food and first we had golgappe eat then we had sandwich 🍰to tell the truth golgappas were good but sandwich was very dirty and we didn't even eat half of the sandwich ate twice and we threw it in the dustbin .so why was it very dirty tell the truth the food is so good but know  No, why that day they had prepared such food at such a nice place that was not even worth eating, then we ate ice cream and drank juice 🥂to satisfy our taste and then we roamed around for a while and stayed there for a while sat down peacefully. And we started remembering those moments then after a while it was 4:00 in the evening and then we had to come back then we came back to the bus stop and we started waiting for our bus stop. we had a lot of fun  Have done Share the photo We loved it Really good day Gone That day was great It was a lot of fun That day was the first day with my friend We went for a trip I miss that day too.

m happy m going to india soon... finally it's happening... since I moved 3.5 years back and this time it won't be for 10 days amongst the mess of covid... we arent going for a long time cause winter break but we still are... m so happy, and this time I'll take GOOD amounts of money from papa cause we may be poor NRIs but in india the francs convert to a shit ton on rupees so m hoping I'll get a lot of money for golgappas and momos but I'll give it away to people I come across in the slum near me house i wanna buy that press waale bhaiya's kid some toy I wonder how old he is now i used to take the elevator with him and deliver clothes cause he was scared of the elevator and I won't be scared anymore to talk to creepy catcallers I have practise I'll just strike a conversations and I'll meet queer people I'll talk to hijra aunties bc I look queer as fuck now I wanna do that I'll volunteer locally and with my cousin bhaiyas organization and get some pretty experience of what I wanna do for life maybe that will finally give me the motivation to function and work cause if I wanna help them I gotta study I can't fail college I can't do that yesssssss

One of the most loved place and my personal favourite in Hauz Khas. The name social which lets you connect offline. Wandering around in Hauz Khas checking Zomato where to crash in, occasionally caught by people standing outside of the restaurants to lure you in, makes it very difficult to choose from. But the place has his different charm, the ground floor is divided into different sections as per convenience.

So we set near the window to enjoy the lake view while having food. It was Friday afternoon and the place was almost full. Started with a Mocktail – Orange juice mocktail which was more on the sweeter side. Ordered – Double grilled Naga Chilli Cheese toast – As Naga chilli is known to be spicy and fused with chilli toast was making us more to try it. The 8 pieces were served in the serving, perfectly crisped bread covered with cheese and with the touch of Naga Chilli making it more delectable.

The toast was followed by Croquettish – made of cheese and potato served with mango murabba (which I loved the most). Croquettes were deep fried and outer covering was damn crispy so do the inside feeling – which was of melting cheese.

Purani Dilli Chaat Platter – Are you excited by just reading the name? I was too and wanted to see how it turned out, the delicacies of Delhi Chaat in a place like this was not expected so ordered one platter. It is righty said that food that appeals to your eyes also tasted good (or might be my saying), the presentation was top notch. Everything was beautifully presented and the quantity was apt. 3 people can easily enjoy that platter. I mean to enjoy and if you’re planning to fill your tummy then enough for 2. An epic platter with Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Raj Kachori and 5-6 Golgappas with chutney and Channa dal for the filling than your usual potato or Channa.

Chilli Paneer – Big pieces of Paneer chunks, perfectly tossed in the sauce was appetizing. My friend who loves Paneer like anything was instantly fallen in love after the first bite and in no second it was finished while we are enjoying our first piece. Sometimes eating with elegance in front of your friends is a problem because they don’t wait until the dish is finished.

Bombay Bachelors – A typical Mumbai sandwich with sliced veggies, masala aloo bhaji, topped with mint chutney and Sev. Lightly grilled and a bit dry for me. So after having one piece was full. Order some drink to have it properly.
Shakes – Oreo mud pot shake and Strawberry cheesecake shake – Loved the shakes, found it more on sweeter side which acted as a dessert too. After having them we were so full that we skipped the dessert.

Mentioned-below are 3 places that craft a distinct experience with their style and food and the ones you must visit when here. Read on to find out.
1. Pal da Dhaba: Now who doesn't visit a dhaba when in Punjab? This is quite a popular name and is nestled in the busy lanes of Sector 28. Though you might have to wait your turn to find a spot to sit when here, let me tell you one thing, the food here is definitely worth the wait! If you are a meat lover, you must try their Mutton Roganjosh, Fish Tikka, and Boneless Dahi Chicken. There is nothing so great about the ambience or set up as it is a simple eatery that aims at impressing you with the food brought to your table. The more-than-generous portion of food is another highlight of this dhaba, one that every native with a good appetite appreciates. So if you visit Chandigarh, the one place you ought to drop by is here and treat yourself to a mighty meal.
2. Diwan Khana:  Now this one is a must-visit for a luxurious dining experience. It is located inside the Ramgarh Fort, a heritage fort, and is in Panchkula near Chandigarh. Dining like the royals is what you are in for on your visit to this palatial dining venue. The ambience, look, setting, food, service, everything here is perfection personified. You have the choice to pick from their resplendent outdoor seating area, the exemplary indoor dining area, as well as a cozy private dining venue that is available for booking for special occasions. Can't even tell you how fulfilling and satiating these are! They do offer other chaats like the Tikki Chaat and Bhalla Papri Chaat too. You have my word for this place.

Just the name of Pani-Puri is enough to make anyone drool. ❤ This is undoubtedly the most popular and loved by ALL street food of India which needs no introduction to any Indian. Amongst all the versions of Pani-Puri, I liked the Mumbai or Pune style Pani-Puri the most as they serve the Pani-Puri stuffed with ragda masala, teekha, and meetha pani. 🙂
I used to have Pani-Puri often whenever I visit the market with my family while we were in Pune. Actually, the main purpose behind my market visits was Pani-Puri only and my Dad knew this well. 😉 After we moved to Madhya Pradesh, it was little tough for me to adjust my taste buds to a slighter different version of Pani-Puri. 😀 During my 12th Std coaching classes, this became a routine to stop by near the Pani-Puri thela and have at least one plate of Pani-Puri. 😀
You will find Pani-Puri thelas in every corner of the Indian streets. My only concern is how hygienic are those Pani-Puris or how much the vendors focus on the cleanliness of the containers used, the thelas, or the plate they serve in(this never used to bother me in childhood but now I am really concerned). Nowadays, if you have noticed they wear use and throw plastic gloves while making and serving Pani-Puris. That’s nice. 🙂
My today’s recipe is influenced by Mumbai style Pani-Puri. Feel free to adjust the spice level according to your taste buds. That’s the beauty of homemade food you can adjust them according to your likings. 🙂 You can get the puffed puris from the store or make them at home as they are very easy to make.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
28-32 Puris
1 Cup ragda
For Masala Stuffing
3 Boiled and roughly mashed potatoes
1 Tsp chaat masala
1 Tsp red chili powder
2 Tsp black salt
For Hara Teekha Pani
2 Cup coriander leaves
½ Cup mint leaves
2 Green chilies, chopped
½ inch ginger, roughly chopped
1 Tbsp tamarind pulp
1 Tbsp chat masala
1 Tsp black salt
Salt as required
¼ Cup masala boondi
For Meetha Pani
6 Dates, seedless
½ Cup grated jaggery
3 Tbsp tamarind pulp
1 Tbsp cumin-coriander powder, roasted
1 Tsp red chili powder
½ Dry ginger powder
Black salt as required

Recipe:
For Masala Stuffing
In a bowl, take all the ingredients and mix using a fork. Keep the masala stuffing aside
For Hara Teekha Pani
Step 1- In a blender, take mint-coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger and add 1 cup of water. Blend to a smooth puree
Step 2- Transfer the puree to a large bowl and add more water as desired. Add the chat masala, black salt, tamarind pulp and give it a nice stir. Add the masala boondi just before 2mins of serving
For Meetha Pani
Step 1- In a pan, boil dates with 1cup of water for 6-8mins on medium flame. Transfer boiled dates with the water to a blender jar and blend to a smooth puree
Step 2- In the same pan take 2cups of water and add the blended puree to the pan. Boil for 4mins on low flame and then add all the spices, tamarind pulp, and black salt
Step 3- Add grated jaggery and let it simmers for 10-12mins on medium-low flame. When it gets little thick turn off the flame and transfer it a bowl. Let it cool down completely before serving
Assembling Pani-Puri
Take each puri and gently make a medium hole in them. Stuff them with aloo masala and ragda masala. Dip into each water one by one and enjoy these homemade Pani-Puris. 🙂

One of the benefits of living in a small town near the border area in today’s world is the little exposure it gives to your children to the highly destructive fast food items. Although, for a not-so-good cook mother, it forced me to try cooking some tempting variations of these items at home. As a result, my daughter many times surprised her cousins when she preferred eating jackfruit cutlets and fruity golgappas over pizzas and pastries. I was travelling a lot from south to north to west in India when my daughter was just four months old.
I realized I had to groom her to be ready to try everything. With her grandparents and my competitive maid at my side, my daughter ended up learning to eat varied food items. And its a challenging task to how to make your kid eat healthy food.
“How can I make my child eat more”….This is the question every mother has on their minds…So, this post is for all the mothers out there…
In this article I will be sharing 12 STRATEGIES TO MAKE CHILD EAT VARIETIES OF FOOD.
In today’s world, where partners/working parents are moving globally, it becomes vital that we introduce our children to eat all kinds of healthy food. Sometimes, the child may not get its share of rajma-chawal, butter chicken or poli-bhaji, so he/she must be accustomed to try some new/local dishes.
Therefore it is very important that we establish their eating habits early in life. Maybe then, they will last a lifetime.
How to Make Your Kid Eat Healthy Food:
1. Don’t be too fussy over your child’s food choice:
Remember you can’t expect your child to like all foods. If s/he tries everything and then rejects some odd food, it is still a positive sign. Your aim must be to increase the variety of food as soon as the child is introduced to solids. Remember for a one year old, denial/ choice to eat may be a way of asserting his/her budding independence.
  Don’t press the child to eat what they obviously dislike. But don’t give in to pressure to give them what they want every time. If they refuse to eat what is offered, simply remove it without a fuss but don’t offer any replacement. Continue to encourage them to try new flavours. This is the best way to how to encourage a child to eat.
2. Choose their plate and spoon carefully:
You will have to spend more time at the table with the baby, in the beginning. You may have to lure the child to the dining table/the high chair. So choose their crockery-cutlery with some care. Buy something small, colourful and with pictures of their favourite animals, cartoons or colours. Something which they can hold and which doesn’t break. There are cute dishes with vacuum available in the markets which ensure that the plate doesn’t fly and spill the food off the table.
3. Don’t overload the plate:
Small plate equals to small portions. A child’s portion of fruits/ vegetables is roughly the amount the child can hold in one hand. Increase the amount as the child grows. So, if the child starts the day with an apple, eats a few grapes in the morning and drinks a vegetable soup/ shorba in the evening, you have achieved the target for the day.
 Remember, it is very irritating for the child to be given huge piles of food and you expecting them to eat everything. Give them manageable portions and let them learn avoid wasting any food. If they are hungry, they will ask for second helping; which is better than rejecting the complete over filled plate. This is best method to how to make your kid eat healthy food every day.
4. Presentation:
It is often the key to tempt your child to try new foods. Remember that advertisement featuring Juhi Chawla where a child comes back from school and asks his mother who puts a “Baigan” in a pizza? All of us have done this: trying to hide the greens in the home-made burgers and pastas to make the child eat them.
 Present healthy snacks in unusual ways, such as chopped fruit and nuts in little pots or mini boxes. Chop fruits and vegetables into fun shapes and serve them with some cookies, wafers or biscuits. Make it a treat through variety and originality of presentation.
  The boiled or steamed vegetables may be very healthy but completely unappetizing for children. Try blending them in the rich, creamy Tomato Soups and even the most veg phobic child would struggle to guess which veggies are hidden in it. You can try this same trick with Indian dishes such as Pav Bhaji, Sambar, Rasam and British dishes such as Shepherd’s Pie, Mashed Potatoes and Cutlets. This strategy is useful for how to get your kids to eat veggies.
5. Colourful Presentation:
Children love colours. So be sure you vary the vegetables and fruits, mixing up colours. Children also love to eat vegetables and fruits raw, so make colourful vegetable straws and fruit dices or smilies for their lunch boxes.
       For your fussy toddlers make a weekly plan with their consent based on the colours, say Mondays will be Red day, Tuesdays will be Green Day and so on. Let them decide which food item of that colour they would eat. They won’t break their own promises, and even if they do, it’s alright. Give them other options of your choice.
6. Be Creative:
Creativity helps to get your children to the dining table and also to make them finish whatever you put on their plate. Remember what I said before, start early and it will help you always. So, as soon as your child turns one, introduce varied tastes to your child. Experiment with different types of food items- sour, sweet, dry, curry, fried, steamed, salty, hot, cold, smooth, and coarse. While you experiment, take time to prepare them for new tastes. Once you know their likes and dislikes, try to creatively adjust the unwanted veggies to their favourites. For example, my daughter doesn’t like methi (fenugreek) and beetroot, so I puree it and put it in the cutlets and paranthas. And my daughter loves eating those red paranthas thinking it is tomatoes. This strategy can be used to how to get your kids to eat veggies.
7. Perseverance Pays:
Be ready to persevere. Nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could so, be ready for the hard work, in cooking as well as in making them eat. Sometimes, it may take 3-4 attempts before a child will develop a taste for a certain food. Try not to classify foods as children’s food or adult food because they may end up being childish always and never liking the adult food. Or, perhaps, they may become rebellious and crave/devour more of the strong flavours to show that they are grown up.
8. Cook Together, Eat Together:
Your approach to food and eating will affect the way your child views and prefers food. As parents, see that the child finds both of you comfortable in the kitchen as well as in the dining area. Both of you can take turns to serve and feed the baby. And make sure to add some special effects with a story-book or a song/dance. In the beginning, the child will need more time to complete the meal. As s/he grows up, they see others eating their meal and they imitate. A word of caution, do not let the Television/ Mobile or the Laptop come in between you and your meal.
     9. Involve children in shopping to cooking meals:
Just as Apni Mandi (Weekly Community Markets) in the Tricity (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali), many cities have Weekly Farmers’ Market where fresh vegetables and fruits are sold at concessional rates. Involve your child in all steps of shopping, starting with making the list to finally chopping the veggies. No matter how young they are, there is invariably some way in which children can participate. Letting your children help you to choose what to buy and cook makes them feel they are also in control.
Take your child with you to explore these markets. Let them see how a raw, fresh from the farm vegetable looks. In case if this option is not available at your city, try events where any farming activity is highlighted, such as visits to Breweries, strawberry fields or Apple Orchards or even our very own Hurda parties in Maharashtra or Baisakhi fests in Punjab. If it’s a big deal, try growing your own crop in your kitchen garden or balcony.
Idea is to involve the child. It takes some effort to introduce your child to the basics of good food. They are more likely to try a dish if they have been involved in making it than if it is simply put on a plate in front of them.
10. Don’t ban any food:
Although it is an already established fact that fresh food is the best wholesome food that your child needs, sometimes you may have to make them eat processed / tinned food. Avoid excluding any food from the child’s food. Try to keep processed food to the minimum, but do not ban any kind of food. Once a food is banned, it becomes much more desirable. Avoid making it more attractive by not cooking it at home or eating outside. Instead, introduce and assist the child to choose healthy food over the processed food by cooking and eating the same food at home. Also, do not, I repeat, do not use food as bribe, reward or punishment.
I am sure you must have heard about schools in Japan where children make their own menus based on nutritional values, stick to them not for grades and help each other to serve and clean up. What a great way to build a healthy and honest Human Resource.
11. Don’t discuss/complain about your child in front of your child.
Do not give food more attention than it needs in the house. Avoid commenting on what your children eat or discuss their weight or calories intake in front of them alone or in public gatherings. (Remember that old Indian superstition: Nazar Lag Jayegi). Take it seriously.
12. Avoid stereotypes:
Generally, we make clear distinctions between daily food and party food. The meals in the lunch boxes and meals at home are served without paying attention to its presentation. On the other hand, the party food is always more delicious, less boring and always good-looking, although it is fairly unhealthy. Change this difference.
Make the daily meals also a treat for their eyes and stomach. Do not just pile and pack the food, make it interesting by adding some sauces or vegetable strips to it. If you offer sandwiches, make them fingers, pinwheels or in other shapes to encourage children to try them and keep using different healthy fillings as possible.This is how to encourage a child to eat.
Similarly, in parties instead of giving them unhealthy fried snacks and high on sugar sweets, offer a good range of savoury finger food, such as sausages, chicken drumsticks, corn bhel, momos, fish fingers/veggies dipped in cheese, fruit sticks and so on. Save the sweets in small portions till the end and if possible add fruits, nuts or biscuit wafers to them to make them healthier.
By making even small changes to your child’s diet, you can make a big difference. Putting in the effort at this early stage really does have its rewards and can influence the quality of your child’s whole life.

The Golgappas are nothing similar to the Panipuri of Mumbai. The masala stuffed is of potatoes and peas unlike the warm peas stuffing of Mumbai panipuri and trust me it changes the entire taste of the Golgappas. For long time this was our destination list.
The food is so delicious and specially Phuchkas were excellent. I have been to so many restaurants. As a true Kolkatan Phuchka was all time favourite  but i never had Phuchka like this before. The standard is upto the mark and price is also very reasonable. It was a real special experience! such simple items on the menu and very tastefully prepared with beautiful presentation. Phuchkas made of semolina and in sunflower oil here.
Place is handled by a lovely lady – Ishita Roy, very friendly and courteous!
She has just created a baby called Phucka Parlour with all her love and affection.
Food is very good, place is clean and neat and ambiance is just right !
“Necessity is the mother of all invention, and innovation as well. As a child, my parents always discouraged me from having phuchkas because of the unhygienic conditions in which it is prepared and consumed (who doesn’t remember long crooked nails digging into the potato mash! ). In high school I observed that the craze for phuchkas transcends all age, religion and social status. I felt that it is not given the proper status it deserves. Hence the concept of The Phuchka Parlour was born, where people can have their beloved phuchkas and chaats without worrying about the doctor’s visit. Just before my graduation, I decided to take the plunge and three months down the line, here we are. We have also included many variations which cannot be found anywhere else in the city.
