After the whole 100 DV for new players thing, I swear people are using any reason at all to shit on the devs. People are hating on how much you have to spend to get rewards on the Go Go Goldie event but like??? Duh?? They cannot give you more devil points than you spend?? That should be?? Obvious?? And it's not even like this is a new event. They've done the Go Go Goldie event several times before in the past. People just need to chill. The devs couldn't give you more free stuff if they tried.

Honestly obey me is one of the games where you just get a lot of free things? Like after playing games like Love Island where even with the reward after each ep. you still need to spend money if you're going to choose all the paid options or games like The Arcana where you have to be patient and rack up coins over months to be able to get the paid options. Obey Me is just so good? Because:

1.) You don't have paid options within the main storyline

2.) You can replay parts of the main storyline whenever you want without having to use keys or anything

3.) You can easily earn grimm

4.) You can use 27,000 grim on that one x10 nightmare pull and get parts of UR & SSR cards that you can eventually assemble

5.) Free x1 pulls that actually give UR & SSR cards every once in a while

6.) Frequent Levi's boot camp where you can win vouchers and points

7.) Frequent events where you can win points and vouchers (if you play without cheatcards you can get past the first part in like 9days this means each time there's an event you can win 10vouchers without spending vouchers on cheat cards)

8.) Daily login bonuses, two of which are points

9.) Can level up cards/unlock spaces using only Grimm (which is easy to earn) & the little token things (which you can easily win by replaying levels)

10.) YOU CAN WIN 18 POINTS A DAY!???

11.) You can win 1 key a day to unlock devilgrams

12.) Each time there's maintenance (which is pretty frequent) devs give you a gift (just got a voucher????)

13.) Devs listen to complaints and fix problems?

17.) None of the Devilgrams have any effect on the main storyline so you don't need to get them. The Devilgrams that do contribute to the backstory are all the ones that you can just get on nightmare on a normal day/get the parts of and assemble in your own time

18.) You can get through one whole lesson on the AP you have and don't have to only play like five parts and then wait hours to get more keys/tickets like in wizardess heart+

19.) You can win feathers through guest interactions, having them work jobs, through event & boot camp rewards

20.) Obey me is an otome game, it's whole purpose is to earn money so you shouldn't be surprised when they have sales or events or whatever to try and get money from the people who are willing to pay

One of the reasons I stuck with obey me is that the game is so much more generous than usual otome games?

Would I like 100 vouchers? Yes. Would I like it to be easier to get to the third part in events? Yes. Am I gonna harass the devs, who are already giving more than an average otome game, about it? Nope.

What I do to win Devilgrams is this; pick a brother. Focus on getting his Devilgrams so you can save up vouchers and points during events that don't have SSR or UR cards for him. I also don't bother trying to get outfits? Like I see the appeal but also at the same time I'd rather use feathers to buy vouchers than spend 300 on an outfit

If you have multiple favs (which is fine): have friends who play obey me & exchange screenshots of the Devilgram stories you get. If your friends don't have the cards & you cant find anyone on tumblr who does try YouTube. I've read Mammon's Bunny, Vampire & Idol Devilgrams all through people who posted them on YouTube.

ALSO the fact that each card has 10 skill up levels but we only get the chance to skill them up to level 2 during events probably means that there's a chance that these cards will appear again in nightmare. (This already happened once with a few cards and it's how I got the Lucifer Butler card despite not having the game when the actual event was happening).

Overall, I think it's fine to bitch and complain and rant whenever you get frustrated during the game (like it's something I do when I really want a card but know I'm not gonna get it cause it's on the third page and I don't have enough vouchers/points) but don't go and harass real people (whether it's new players or the devs) over a game, none of them owe us anything. Chill guys.

Pone Reviews 72: Grannies Gone Wild Happy Monday's Eve and welcome back to Pone Reviews! Jumping back into Season 8 today with a review for you old souls at heart. What happens when a gaggle of grandmas is set loose in Las Pegasus? We're about to find out with "Grannies Gone Wild!" Here's the moral. "You shouldn't misjudge older folks just because they're old - they can teach you what it means to have fun." A nice lesson for the kiddos out there. I get it, old people can be boring. Their interests and stamina are not the same as their younger peers. But that doesn't mean you should rule out what they say and do right off the bat. Rainbow learned a valuable thing or two from the Gold Horseshoe Gals. She hasn't had the same experience with older ponies as the other Mane 6 have, which is why I think it was a great choice to have her deliver this lesson. It's a worthy lesson, too. Respect your elders! My generation has no respect for some older folk. Their activities sound more fun than a roller coaster, anyway. A walk down the avenue? Hat shopping? I'm in! Kids, listen to me: Old people aren't always boring. They can give you some of the best days of your life. Trust me and Rainbow Dash on this one. Let's cut to the plot. The best roller coaster in Las Pegasus is about to close and Rainbow Dash HAS to ride it! But there's a catch: Granny Smith and her friends are along for the ride! I'll address the continuity right now so I don't ramble about it: School of Friendship is still open, Auntie Applesauce and Apple Rose are still alive, Las Pegasus has fun background ponies and roller coasters. There's another thing I think this episode preaches really well: Responsibility. I know most viewers are thinking Applejack's list of things to do for the grandmares was a little harsh. I don't! Considering the age of those ponies, I think it was perfect! Get too excited and you could have a dead pony on the floor! The episode moves onto Rainbow following Applejack's rules to a tee. Her meddling with the Gold Horseshoe Gals' fun shows what happens when you take responsibility *too* seriously. It's good to an extent. Just not to the extent of ruining a magic show. Rainbow's worry about screwing everything up also shows why it's important: If you don't follow the rules, things might not go your way. And taking care of elderly people is a big responsibility. Something like "don't let them get too excited" could mean the difference between life and death. AJ wouldn't have made you the chaperone if she knew you couldn't handle it, Dashie. So in my eyes, this episode has two lessons: Old people can be fun and responsibility is an important virtue that shouldn't be taken too far. Here are some more things about this episode that get a Gold Horseshoe in my book: *WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB *We all know the Gold Horseshoe Gals are a reference to the Golden Girls. I can't get enough of it. Give these mares their own show! *Blink and you'll miss it: Flim and Flam are now adorning Gladmane's former hotel. *Everyone (including myself) thought Jack Pot looked like Trixie and that he could be Trixie's dad. WELL IT'S CANON, FOLKS. IT'S IN AN OFFICIAL BOOK. JACK POT IS TRIXIE'S DAD. *The bit with Applejack and Rainbow Dash going back and forth is basically Ashleigh Ball talking to herself. *GRANNY THAT MANE WOW. Also Svengallop in the background. And here are some things about this episode that are going into the trash with the rest of those nachos: *That's an alicorn. Two alicorns. It just annoys me. *How long have they been doing this annual trip? Goldie was only introduced to Granny in Season 4. Feels... rushed. *Pegasi need to strap in for a roller coaster even though they have wings and could prevent injury that way. Yes, I'm questioning that and not the physics of the chess game. *How dumb is Rainbow to not realize the Gold Horseshoe Gals are acting when they pretend they're tired? *After Rarity tipped that bellhop multiple gems during "Rarity Takes Manehattan," Auntie Applesauce's tip of a denture coin looks really, really sad. *The grandmares flirting with the magicians is really funny... but also really uncomfortable.
