My least favorite thing about some (or most, not sure) women is that some of them expect us to be nothing less than confident because we are the “leaders”, but they can come into our lives in ANY fashion. Which includes, but is not limited to, not being confident. Why are we expected to have all the provisions? The disrespect. We need to be nothing less than perfect AND come ready with your alterations? Things you should already have done yourself before partner seeking. A man’s job should be to provide and protect…but you should still be able to do so yourself because if life panned out otherwise…how would you conduct yourself? Most women just do this in the meantime…not what we’re asking. Someone who views standard responsibilities as a hassle is IN SEARCH OF their relief is not ideal. We’ll remove all your responsibilities…after we see you were willing to fulfill them without reward (what most people already do). Meaning you were prepared to do so ON YOUR OWN for the remainder of your life, given we didn’t end up crossing your path at some point to offer to relieve you of those responsibilities.

In short, we are not looking to give you, boost or increase low/no confidence. We are looking to add upon the great amount of confidence you already possess…which should be nearly possible (For lack of better words). Not searching for the cockiest, but secretly insecure kind of confidence. Providing is only a condition due to our need to do it for ourselves already, not means to strip you of your independence. One would hope it would inspire our significant other to focus on things they have neglected due to unnecessary responsibilities such as…

Terrible wording in my opinion, but this is, at least in part, where most, male or female, have life/relationships/partnerships…FUCKED UP! Needs some form of balance of powers or an equilibrium.

Multiversal Manhunt Moved to Your Backyard (explicit, but only the final chapter) (complete)

set during weirdmageddon, bill and ford make a deal to play a game of sexy scary hide and seek. it's so fun to root for the villain. this author has an amazing grasp on the character voices and tone, this is SUCH a delightful read and despite knowing exactly how it's gonna end, the tension still keeps you at the edge of your seat!

marine biology AU where ford is a researcher on a deep sea base and bill is some sort of eldritch horror at the bottom of the sea. writing is lovely and it's really got the slow, ominous horror vibe down pat. it's tagged for Alien(1979) references so i'm personally waiting for bill to violently murder all of these people <3 also this is the non-triangle fic i was referring to

handyman bill thats very focused on how poorly bill and ford are able to communicate with each other, and boy, theyre bad at it. lots of cute family shenanigans and overall a very lighthearted read!

the only pregnant bill fic i'll ever read because its carried by so much fun speculative biology. really has you nodding along like okay, okay even if i might not agree, i can see what you're cooking. my continued interest hinges heavily on whether or not they choose to kill bill off but i imagine we won't know if that happens for at least 2 more chapters
