Grog has noticed a number of peculiarities in Kakariko Village. Eerie lights flicker in the mountain valley. Murky black water fills the old stone well that no one uses. Golden spiders spin their webs under the eaves of abandoned buildings. Little does Grog know that the legendary Sheikah of Kakariko still live, and that they are watching.

I’m Tired and Sad, So Let’s Talk About The Legend of Zelda: Episode 28
This week continues to be rougher than I'd like it to be, so we've got a rare treat for you today! That's right, a second episode of my "I'm Tired and Sad" series! This one is about Gold Skulltulas and why I like doing little collection quests in games.
It has been one hell of a week and while I normally try to pace these out a bit, I’m actually both tired AND sad today, so I’m dipping back into a familiar well in order to either try to get my mind out of the negative spiral I can feel it running in or to just distract myself long enough that it is time for bed. While I am definitely still on the fence about my current short-term bedding…

was just wondering how hateful it wouldve been if either botw or totk had something like the gold skulltula side quest but then i realized it does and it's the bubbul frog side quest
#not nearly as hateful as gold skulltulas bc bubbul frogs only exist in caves#if it were hateful youd have to roll into trees and shit and thered be a bunch in the dungeons#or like. in caves that only open up when it rains. in a game where you cant make it happen on demand w the song of storms

Coming up with fangames can be so funny as the limitations of the 'normal' format aren't there:
I could Maybe almost double the amount of clothes Link can wear by separating his boots and gloves.
I could take the Great Plateau/Great Sky Island starting period of the BotW era games and just slap a couple dungeons in there.
I can bring back the Quiver and Bomb Bag and slap them into said dungeons, limiting (if not outright preventing) the use of arrows and bombs until you get them, and then Immediately outweigh that con with not only the ability to craft and Store special arrows and bombs but ALSO a Hero's Bow which while a solid if mediocre bow when it breaks it stays in the inventory able to be repaired.
I can vastly widen the number of elemental effects And add a Magic Meter, with the cost being another thing to upgrade at shrines And more Wizzrobes (and you Know that if the Master Sword is locked behind a stat its going to be Magic this time. I already have plans for how that'd work)
I can vastly widen the amount of weapon types and expand upon the combat system, maybe letting you do more than just Flurry Rush after a Perfect Dodge.
I can then make everyone hate me by giving the Yiga Actual Snipers. The Bowmasters sound cool until you get sniped in the head from way out of screen and die.
#tloz#botw totk#the legend of zelda#the legend of zelda ideas#this is related to that poll I made btw#crafting weapons and armor and such is here#as is punching things (including things you probably shouldn't)#Oh and Gold Skulltulas are back! Enjoy even More collecting#tloz fangame

I feel more compelled to 100% majora's mask than I did ocarina of time, possibly because it presents itself more as a puzzle box than a straightforward adventure
#the object teaches you how to read it or something#i did try to 100% oot before i got all the gold sculltulas and realized there was basically no reward for collecting all the skulltulas

THERE WAS AN UPDATE SLEEPING? WHATS THAT??
first of all we start with this beautiful shot
god thats some cool architecture i have no words clapping
Wind is so ready to kick that lizard's ass i love him
this confirms the fact that theyre in the same place but in a different era (also i swear im convinced that this place takes place at least no far from Hyrule's era, the statue behind Legend and the corridors inside are almost the same as in Zelda1 and 2)
that was the worst joke i have heard today good job rulie lots of kudos /lh
the boys entering a place where they could find the most dangerous shit in all Hyrule, and then there's my girl who is having the best lunch ever
when i first read this i almost spit all my water on my phone cuz. Wars my man these people are like. crazy with dungeon crawl. you can't say that and expect a normal reaction.
their expressions are gold no notes
TIME'S SIDE EYE LMAO
Sky looking concerned, and Wars with the most "i dont know what is everyones problem but alright" face i love him
In a war there's no time to explore or search for things that can be useful, or even search for clues, less with the fact that youre leading an army. There was no puzzle, no mistery to solve or objects that needed to be obtained, just plain fight and confrontation, not leaving space for investigation or even a good rest in town
They have a point, without exploring they wouldn't have the arsenal that they carry; powerful items that can kill a whole army of monsters, a gift left by the hero before them to help, shinies. All that is really useful when you want to save the whole kingdom
lets not forget all the weapons that you can get on HW, there are some that are like, crazy powerful, and the materials get from the enemies are also really helpful
guys i think youre the only crazy people who love to enter a random place full of monsters and maybe a demon lord or smth
OK THIS IS THE PANNEL WHERE I WANTED TO TALK A LITTLE ABT
This reminds me of this short comic where Wild was almost grabbed by a wallmaster, do this takes place some time before this scene?? or just from another time?? I find possible the first option cuz Wild looks more wary the whole update, like if he already found out what will happends if he puts his guard down
Also the fact that the closest thing that he had as a dungeon were the Divine Beast and the shrines, which both of them lacked a lot of things that were usually in the clasic zelda's dungeons, like keys, mini bosses, special object and pots.
Hyrule my guy you dont. have to scare him like that. i hate these things too but calm down.
fucking gremlin /pos
taking this as an opportunity to talk about how Legend's behaviour has been seen changed in the past updates, he's more relaxed and playful, taking a moment to just have fun and prank the rest of the chain
this reminds me
here is left clear that he's still young, maybe not even on his twenties, and now after that stressfull time with Twi being on the verge of death it makes sense that he feels the need of just, goof around to cope after all that
Yes he's the most experienced, yes is maybe the most powerful of them, but he's still a young boy who was dragged to all this, he deserves to have some fun
happy guy :)
and then we have Time, he looks like Not Having A Good Time™
Messy hair Warriors <3
also i know we all put Sky as one of the adults, but cmon he's a little shit as much as the rest, thats why he finds funny Legend's joke
Wild my man you good? like im genuinely asking at this point, it is weird seeing him so serious
god thats such a cool design of a skulltula, its so scary 10/10
Wild has never seen in his life a spider of this size, so it makes sense him just, straight up getting surprised by that thing
OUGHH I FELT THAT
Sky being right-handed looks like a problem in this closed space, soon or later it would make some troubles
Legend no offence but did you see the little accident they had right there. like. that really hurts if you ask me.
Okay Time is really at his limit here, the past days has been hell for him with the stress of almost loosing the one that he might see as his son, and seeing all the boys just playing around is not helping. Theyre all heroes, they should take this danger seriously if they want to stop all danger.
He wants to protect the ones that he cares for, even if he has to snap for it.
Here he might be planning to team up with Twi and Wind? The youngest seems to have gained his attention as his second successor. He will make anything it takes to not let all of them get hurt, and with everything he means it
Just wait when he learns that Legend is also his successor, automatically adopted
NOW MY FAV PARTS WITHOUT COMMENTARY!!!
SOMEHOW I GOT THE IMAGE LIMIT???? I DIDNT THOUGHT THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE ON WEB
anyways have confused warriors as the last one pls aprecciate him
tumblr pls let me eat the art i beg you
art credits as always towards @linkeduniverse! always feeling blessed with all this fantastic work!
#linked universe#linkeduniverse#lu update#lu update spoilers#lu chain#lu epona#my beautiful girl#lu analysis#pls appreciate this i genuinely started crying cuz tumblr didn't want to post this ksjdfkdsjk#i have class tomorrow i should go to sleep.#i talk

Whumptober Day 4: Hallucinations, “You’re still alive in my head”
Sky and Twilight took the reins and this got longer than it was originally planned to be. But that’s okay that means more angst :)
Warnings: poisoning (kind of), non consensual drugging (sort of), hallucinations (ish).
Ao3 link
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sky didn’t really like caves, but at least this one had plenty of light.
Glowing mushrooms dotted the walls in shades of blue and purple, smaller orange ones interspersed like tiny stars of amber. Every room they’d been in was a little different, and though Sky was tense and chilly from the location, even he had to admit it was pretty. It felt a lot like Skyview temple, honestly.
But luckily without the spiderwebs and skulltulas, he thought with a grimace. Worst part of that place, minus Ghirahim.
Sky gave a pink mushroom a cautious poke, and small waves of lighter pink rippled across the cap like a pond, Sky watching in fascination. Twilight looked up from where he was sitting, and watched the colors shift as well with an interested look.
“You think the others’ll be along soon?” Twilight asked as he stood and stretched. Sky shrugged. Half of their group had gone down a different tunnel, and they’d agreed to see if they met up later. The room they were in now had what looked like a side passage, so Sky, Twilight, Warriors and Hyrule had decided to pause here for a bit and see if they showed up.
“I’d bet they will,” Sky replied, poking the mushroom in two different spots. That made little waves of color go out that rippled against each other. “And if not, you can always sniff them out.”
“Should you all be touching those?” Warriors asked, an eyebrow raised as Sky poked a blue mushroom, glowing speckles winking all along the cap.
“I don’t see why not,” Hyrule said from across the room. He was tapping some smaller mushrooms that changed from orange to gold whenever they were poked. Twilight oohed in fascination, and got up to stand beside him and poke a few himself.
Warriors sighed, then gave a green one beside him a hesitant touch, the glow it gave off dimming slightly, and revealing stripes that weren’t visible before.
Sky and the others kept this up until Twilight heard footsteps from the tunnel, ears pricking as he reported it was the others. Four came through first, and Sky’s relief quickly turned into worry at the look on his face.
“Smithy? What’s up?” he asked, and Legend huffed as he came out of the tunnel behind him.
“Wild, that’s what,” Legend said. It came across as grumpy, but Sky could hear the worry in it as well. Twilight’s eyebrow raised in question.
“He and Wind were messing around, and Wild got smacked into this weird mushroom and all these spores went up,” Four reported with a frown. “We thought it was fine, but then Wild started acting all... weird.”
“Weird how?” Hyrule asked.
Time emerged from the tunnel with Wild’s arm slung around his shoulder then, the champion’s eyes wide and... worryingly blank. Twilight quickly went over to him, but Time waved him back.
“Best you don’t get too close, he already gave our sailor a bloody nose,” he warned, but Twilight still hovered nearby as Time gently set Wild down, keeping his head resting against his shoulder. “He’s quiet now, but when we first found him he was just...”
Wild gasped suddenly, and Time quickly put his arm around him in order to stop him from getting up when he lunged forward.
“W... wa-it...” Wild stammered, staring at the space in front of him. “Wait, wait for me, I-I’m...”
A shudder wracked through him, and he fell back against Time, shivering slightly. Warriors got to a knee beside him, carefully tilting Wild’s head around and studying his eyes and extremities, then hummed.
“I think it’s acting like a toxin of some kind,” he said, voice worried, but not overly concerned. Sky was rather alarmed at the use of the word toxin, himself. “Not life-threatening though, he’s not showing any signs of it being severe. He must just be reacting badly to the spores. An allergy, maybe. We’ll need to keep an eye on him, but it should just need to work through his system by itself. Is Wind okay?”
“I’b fine!” the sailor replied as he emerged from the tunnel as well, voice somewhat stuffed. “I didn’t breabe id in like Wild did.”
“Maybe get Hyrule to look at your nose, though,” Sky suggested with a wince, and Wind nodded.
The sailor skipped over to Hyrule, and while the traveler made sure nothing was broken, Sky cautiously moved over to where Wild sat, still shivering against Time’s shoulder. Wild didn’t react to his presence, but Sky noticed that when he shifted around, Time winced.
He looked closer, noticing that Time was holding his arm a bit gingerly, and Twilight obviously noticed as well.
“Did he just get Wind’s nose?” Twilight asked suspiciously, and Time sighed.
“He struggled a bit as I was pulling him away, but I’m fine.”
“Well then you won’t mind it if Hyrule looks you over just to be sure,” Warriors said flatly, and shooed him away as Twilight shifted Wild to his shoulder. Time hesitated, but at the sight of Wild immediately huddling up beside Twilight, he gave in with a sigh.
It was decided they’d make camp in the large cavern for now so they could monitor Wild, and hopefully give his body time to work through what it had been exposed to. Warriors wasn’t expecting it to take too long, but in the meantime... Wild only got worse.
He shivered and babbled nonsense nobody could make out, eyes catching on nothing. He felt feverish when Sky brushed a hand over his face, and coughed occasionally, looking miserable. All they could really do was keep him comfortable, but Wild only seemed to get worse, his mumbling growing louder, his eyes growing more wild.
Time’s arm turned out to be sprained, rather badly, and he was banished to the other side of the cave with Wind. The others tried to help with Wild, but after he nearly clocked Legend in the eye, Warriors decided the less people nearby, the better. Sky couldn’t bring himself to leave though, not with way Wild whimpered and thrashed, and he stayed beside him, wiping sweat from his brow, and wrapping his sailcloth around him when his shivering grew worse.
And nothing much changed for an hour or two, until Wild suddenly stiffened, and stared directly at Sky.
Sky blinked, and Warriors drew up beside him, prepared to step in if Wild tried anything. They all watched anxiously as Wild’s gaze flicked between the two of them, Twilight holding a little tighter to the champion, and Wild’s eyes rolled upward to look at him. Then his expression suddenly turned almost childlike with hope.
“Father?” he said in a small voice, and Sky’s heart fell down to his boots.
Twilight breathed in sharply.
“No, no Link, I’m not your father,” Twilight tried to explain gently, expression agonized. “None of us are, he’s not... here.”
“B-But you.... wh-where is he?” Wild asked, filmy eyes fixing on Warriors’ face. “I thought he... is he okay?”
Warriors froze, and Twilight exchanged looks with Sky. “I...”
Sky swallowed, and gently took Wild’s hand. “Link, he’s... he’s busy right now, okay?”
Wild blinked at him, then shuddered, his eyes clearing a moment and filling with grief.
“No. He’s not,” he whispered.
He let out a soft whimper, and to Sky’s dismay a tear fell down his cheek, its trail erratic due to the way Wild was shaking.
“I can’t r-remember— I miss him, b-but... I don’t kn-know if— you’re here, but y-you’re not— I saw you,” Wild said with a sharp inhale, eyes suddenly taking on a different sort of blankness.
“Oh no,” Twilight breathed as Wild’s shaking suddenly stilled, his blank gaze fixing on Sky’s face. “Please no, not now, don’t show him one right now...”
Oh Hylia, a memory, Sky thought in horror as Wild fell still. Please, let it be a good one.
Sky kept holding Wild’s hand, and Wild continued to stare at him, sweat-soaked hair falling in his face.
“He’s fighting...” Wild whispered, mouth the only part of him moving. “He st-stayed to fight... protect the... king. We saw, Zelda, she saw, when Cala... Calamity... the g-guardians...”
A shudder wracked through Wild, another tear slipping down his cheek.
“King’s dead. Everyone, they’re all... nobody left, D-Divine... p-papa...” he choked out, and suddenly his eyes cleared, and he lurched forward with a wail, head knocking against Sky’s collarbone.
Sky quickly stopped him from falling over, and waved Warriors and Twilight back when they tried to intervene, Wild clutching at Sky’s shirt with a terrible desperation.
“Father I failed,” Wild choked out, and Sky ignored how his heart was breaking, and ran a hand over Wild’s hair. Wild sobbed into his shirt, and Sky held him tightly, not even knowing where to begin with untangling this mess.
He looked at the others helplessly, and saw Twilight looking like he was either about to cry or hit something, and Warriors’ face looking much the same, expression holding a quiet grief.
“Link, it’s okay,” Sky tried, soothing him as he rocked a little. “You did your best. You saved Zelda.”
“She h-had to wait a-a hundred years,” Wild cried, voice muffled by Sky’s shirt. “I made her w-wait, s-so long, and y-you—”
Wild’s voice broke off into another sob, and Sky looked helplessly at Twilight. He knew the basics of Wild’s adventure, but not everything, and he didn’t know how to comfort him through this.
Wild had latched onto him though, and passing him off wouldn’t end well, he was sure. It was up to Sky.
He swallowed.
“Link,” he began softly, but loud enough that Wild could hear him over his crying. “I’m your father, aren’t I?”
Wild nodded, and Sky swallowed again, mentally apologizing to Wild’s father for impersonating him, and to Wild for lying about his identity.
“Then believe me when I say that I’m so proud of you,” Sky said, voice still soft. Wild let out a gross sniffle, and raised his head a bit so he could see Sky’s face. His eyes were still filmy, but Sky couldn’t tell if it was because of the memory or not. Was he out? “You did your best, you saved Zelda, and beat the Calamity. You avenged the people who died. You’re a hero, Link.”
“But I couldn’t save— I s-saw, saw you,” Wild hiccuped, still clutching Sky’s shirt. “You had— you weren’t, w-weren’t, moving, a laser, I saw you...”
“Oh Link,” Sky said thickly, and Wild pressed his face to Sky’s neck, a hiccuping sob coming out of him.
Twilight abruptly stood, shoulders tense as a bowstring.
“Captain. Do you have anything that would knock him out until the spores are out of his system?” Twilight asked quietly. Warriors nodded, and Twilight turned away. “Give him that. I’m not going to sit here and watch him be tortured by hallucinations any longer.”
“You want us to drug him?” Sky said in disbelief, and Twilight shook his head.
“We’re sedating him. It’s different.”
Sky didn’t know about that, but he didn’t argue as Wild sobbed again. This needed to stop.
Warriors didn’t add to the conversation either, and dug through his bag a moment before retrieving a small pouch of leaves. He got up and retrieved a cup from one of the others, pouring water inside, then crumbled up some leaves and stirred them in to the sounds of Wild’s sniffles.
He heated the mixture with his fire rod, still stirring, then blew on it and held it out.
“There. It’ll knock him out for a good ten hours,” he said quietly, and Twilight nodded, taking the cup.
“Hey Link,” Sky said softly, running a hand over Wild’s head. Wild shifted a little, and turned his head up. “We have a... medicine here for you that you need to take. It’ll make you feel better.”
“Really?” Wild asked in a small voice.
“Really,” Sky said, and Wild sighed thickly, going still against Sky’s shoulder.
“Okay,” he whispered, and Sky ignored the sting in his throat at the lie. Twilight came forward and crouched beside him, his face briefly conflicted, and Sky propped Wild up so he could help him drink it.
Strangely enough Wild didn’t resist at all, and drank most of the tea without fuss. He finished most of it before his eyes began to droop, and Sky adjusted his hold on him, making sure he was comfortable.
Wild sighed sleepily, and looked at Warriors and Twilight, then up at Sky.
“I m-missed you papa,” he whispered, and Sky swallowed back the lump in his throat, not missing the glassy look in Twilight’s eyes.
“Try and get some sleep, Link,” he managed to reply, and Wild finally closed his eyes, face looking more at peace than it had all day.
Warriors waited to be sure he was asleep, then stood and went off to the other side of the cave, likely to inform Time and the others of what had happened. And probably compose himself. Twilight remained beside Wild, his face conflicted, and Sky rested a hand on his arm, Twilight looking away and closing his eyes.
Sky sighed, looking at Wild, then held him close as he gently wiped the tear tracks from his face.
He really didn’t like caves.

Content Warning- Spiders/Skulltula Images
Ok, so I was looking through the Encyclopedia trying to see if I can maybe place what era the Chain is currently in with the Skulltula design.
Now, it should be noted at this moment I am working under the assumption that this Skulltula is native to this era. With that being said, analysis time.
So the Chain is (if we are assuming the Skulltula is native to this era) is not in an era in the Downfall Timeline. Skulltulas are present in every timeline but the Downfall Timeline.
Originally, I was pretty confident that despite what Twilight said, they were somewhere near his era, but after a little more research, I think they are somewhere bewteen Sky and Time's era. Technically, that would mean it's possibly around Four's era but to my knowledge Skulltulas are not a known enemy for him.
Evidence?
Skulltula and Gold Skulltula from OoT/MM ^
Skulltula from SS ^
Skulltula from Entrance
It shares most features with Time's era's Skulltula (note the mostly white skull abdomen, yellow/black legs, and red eyes) but it has spiky bits on its abdomen only seen on Skyward Sword's Skulltula.
I'll make the bold assumptions that this temple is Ocarina of Time's Forest Temple before there was a full forest.
Alternatively, it's a grounded version of the Palace of Winds. Visually, it shares details and could help explain why there are statutes that Twilight can control with his Dominion Rod because it's a Temple from the Oocca race.

LUtober Day 29: Skulltula
See the full collection on AO3.
“Bet you can’t knock those apples down,” Hyrule said, pointing at a cluster of apples near the top of the tree they were currently lounging under.
“I could shoot them down?” Wild suggested. A snack would be nice right about now.
“Why would you waste the arrows?” Legend asked.
“I bet I can get them down,” Sky said as he got to his feet. “You’ll all have to move though.”
After everyone cleared the area around the tree, Sky took off the Master Sword and handed it to Legend, then removed his sailcloth. He took a few steps back and lined himself up with the tree. Faster than anyone had ever seen Sky move, he sprinted towards the tree before ducking into a roll and slammed into it. Three apples fell, along with a giant golden spider.
The screams had Time and Wolfie running to where the boys had been goofing off, only to see Wild, Hyrule, and Legend shouting at what appeared to be a gold Skulltula. Sky was shouting back at them for shouting in the first place.
“What in the world?” Twilight asked as he shifted back and came up behind Time.
“Boys!” Time called, causing them to stop shouting and start talking all at once, pointing at the gold Skulltula that was spinning aimlessly.
“Oh, that’s right,” Twilight said, shaking his head, “Only half of us have actually dealt with Skulltulas.”
“Can you please tell them it’s not a big deal?” Sky asked with a sigh as he collected his items from Legend, who was still staring wide-eyed at the enormous arachnid. “It’s not even aggressive.”
“These ones aren’t, they’re just…” Time said as he pulled out his gilded sword and swung at the Skulltula. It disappeared in a puff of smoke and a small old token remained. “…for collecting these. I thought I got them all.” He tossed it to Hyrule.
Wild and Legend gathered around the traveler to look at the spider token. “So giant spiders are just no big deal to all of you?” Hyrule asked as he turned the token over in his hands.
“Oh that wasn't even a proper Skulltula, those are way bigger,” Sky said, “and meaner.”
Time just pinched his brow and sighed as another round of shouting began.

If you were to give the House of Heroes boys a Pokemon partner/team, who would have what?
Oh, I actually have an answer for that. A while ago, for fun, I came up with teams for all of them, with one rule being one legendary/mythical per Link. Here’s the list:
Wild: Milotic, Staraptor, Graveler, Luxray (the four champions), Metagross (guardians), and Miraidon (master cycle zero)
Time: Decidueye (ghost grass owl), Ninetails (Keaton), Rapidash (Epona), Trevenant (Great Deku Tree. Also ghost), Galvantula (gold skulltula), and Celebi (green time traveling fairy)
Sky: Sylveon (his feelings for Zelda), Drampa (the dragons), Excadrill (mogmas), Rotom (robots), Aegislash (Fi), and Ho-Oh (giant red bird)
Warrior: Incineroar (his cocky personality), Gallade (a chivalrous knight), Meowstic male (the scarf), Zoroark (Cia), Braixen (Lana), and Keldeo (a young one on a similar journey as him)
Wind: Gyrados (giant monster fish), Sharpedo (a nasty shark who was used by a pirate), Jumpluff (Koroks), Dragonite (Valoo), Tentacruel (big octos), and Lugia (deity of the sea who creates storms)
Twilight: Misdreavus (Midna), Mudsdale (Epona), dusk form Lycanroc (twilight wolf), Chandelure (poes), Gogoat (goats), and Zacian (dog with sword)
It was fun to come up with these teams! For the most part they were fairly easy to come up with. For Wind it was hard choosing between Lugia and Kyogre, but I eventually settled on the former.
Thanks for your ask!

just finished the ocarina of time on NSOEX. yes I did cry at the end but did not 100% the gold skulltulas or the shooting games. Way too finicky with the switch control.
I am also disappointed they used to censored version of the N64 game and not the upgraded 3DS skin (the superior remake). I ordered a converter so may hook up my N64 next year on my yearly play through.
Onto majora’s mask! I received an N64 wireless controller so I’ll let yall know if that makes a difference.

As I age and replay through the Zelda games I realize that I have opinions on them that aren't always the popular ones, so I'll just rate them here and explain later.
At the very bottom of my list is the games that I have barely played and are just there.
Zelda 2 and Phantom Hourglass, I played them once years ago and for like two hours max.
Next is one the only zelda game I hate! Triforce Heros, I hate it that's my review of it. It's one of the only games I have played that replaying it worsened my opinion off it. I did not finish it on my rerun.
OoT(3DS), it's low on the list and I will not apologize for it. Not a big fan of it. Getting Epona always piss me off, the forest temple always annoy me and the gold skulltula quest is not worth finishing.
The wild Era of Zelda (BotW & TotK). It's not that I don't like them It's that they don't feel like zelda games. But overall I do like them but less than the rest.
Wind Waker(GameCube), love it but it as it's problems. It would be higher but it's a bit too grindy and at time stupidly difficult for no reasons (looking at you Orca, like really 500 hit for one heart piece?!), and puppet Ganon is horid.
A Link between worlds, it's great! I did not enjoy it the first time but I was also not good at games then. I got it when it released played through it in one go and didn't touch it for years (until last year) and after replaying it I really liked it, but some of the mini games leave to be desired.
Skyward Sword, I have both versions and I love them both! I will say it the motions controls were quite good and the side quests were fine, no there isn't too many side quests. The part I did not like was Demise fight I didn't understood how it worked but love Girahim.
Hyrule Warrior's (DE), I have played all three versions, I have played and replayed this game so many time and I never get tired. Love Volga the most out of the new characters (I'm a dragon person, like I have a collection of dragon statues and plushies) and Wizro the least.
Majora's Mask(3DS), I LOVE MM, it's my favorite one, I just need to hear the music to want to play it again and I will play it again. I always 100% it, the quests are just so good and the story is also really good and weird. But fuck Snowhead temple it's always the one temple I'm not exited to replay. I always forget the Ikanna well.
I am currently replaying TP I'll give my thoughts on it when I'm done with it. And I'll make post to go in depth on my thoughts on the other games too.

More Flat colored doodles, but more of Skyward Sword Zelda and Link. Along with Rauru from Ocarina of Time in his youth. In my play-through of the Legend of Zelda series and my personal take on the series timeline. [Mostly the story I have when playing the series to fit with the child-timeline, as this timeline holds the hero of time's lineage and I would like to think in this timeline the three timelines merge back into one]I like to think of Rauru, the sage of Light in Ocarina of Time as the son of Skyward Sword ZeLink. Born after his parents settled on the surface, forming a small Village close to the sealing temple. Not many of those Skyloftians settled in the forest with Link and Zelda. During the time of both Zonai and ancient Sheikahs, but the relationship between the Sheikah and Zelda’s bloodline wasn’t as strong as yet. Unlike the relationship they hold with Zelda of TotK era. One day while out hunting with his father, Rauru saved a young Sheikah chief’s youngest daughter. As a small swarm of gold skulltulas spiders had cornered her in the forest.
Through his relationship with this Sheikah, Rauru’s powers to which he inherited from his mother. Gained him the title of Sage of Light. Until a time a war broke out between the Sheikah and the Zonai over the triforce. A relic that was left to Rauru to protect by his parents’ past adventure, causing the Zonai to create replicas of the relic. Upon sealing himself in the sacred realm, with the aid of his father’s sword. Rauru was able to seal himself and the triforce away, trusting the stones to open the door of time to his bride. Same Sheikah he saved in his youth, to which she entrusted to the other races the Sheikah had ties with. Despite sealing himself away with the triforce, the war continued until the arrival of Light Spirits from Twilight Princess. Sealing away all the Zonai that used the replica stones into the Twilight Realm, only a few were spared.

good news: i have figured out that Hyrule's map adds a little icon next to each area if you've gotten all of the gold skulltula tokens in them so i've narrowed down where i gotta go. the bad awful terrible fucking news: i'm at 99/100 of these fucking things and the one i'm missing is somewhere in Kakariko which would be whatever except i've checked for these ones multiple times and i swear i got all of them in the first place. i am in hell.

Legend of Zelda Theme Park - Odds and Ends
Here are a few ideas for the theme park that didn't fit into the area-by-area descriptions, either because they apply to the whole park or because it was too much detail for the simple summaries.
Phone App Minigames
I've made a few references to these over the course of the theme park posts, but never gave any specifics. So here are some of those:
Scavenger hunts. How many Zelda games include a "catch 'em all" sidequest? Several, that's how many. The premise of this is quite simple: Some number of a small creature--Koroks, Gold Skulltulas, baby Maiamais, or whatever--are placed around the park, and if you can find and photograph them all, you can get a prize! A combination of signal transmitters and image recognition would ensure the legitimacy of the photos.
Music apps where you look for certain signs and symbols to let you know there's a secret here to be triggered if you play the right song. The effects might be flickering lights, sliding panels in walls or rock faces to reveal a unique sight, etc.
Merch
Throughout the writeups, I've described the unique shops and their unique lines of souvenirs to some extent, but what about simpler, more universal Legend of Zelda goodies that could be sold anywhere in the park? Here are a few fun ideas:
Bag of rupees. How can you be a proper adventurer without your own supply of Hyrule's currency? The way I see it, the bags would come in different sizes at different price points, each containing a fixed number of 1-inch resin rupees, but randomly selected colors--you never know what you're going to get until you open the bag. "Higher-value" rupees are naturally rarer--they can't actually be exchanged for anything, but it mimics the in-game value and rarity.
Fantasy ear headbands. You could get "elf" ears (in a variety of skin tones) and be a Hylian, Gerudo, or Sheikah, "fin" ears to be a Zora, or even big floppy goblinesque Bokoblin ears!
Collectibles from the games. Think Wind Waker's Spoils or Skyward Sword's Treasures--small, distinctive items that must be collected in some numbers to be useful and are not necessary to complete the game.
Food and Snacks
Hard candy rupees. Pretty self-explanatory--just don't get them mixed up with your toy rupees from the blind bag!
Kinstone sugar cookie 2-packs. Two half-cookies frosted with red, blue, or green icing and with part of the Minish clover emblem piped on.
Triforce corn chips. These come in three flavors--Power (chili), Wisdom (blue corn and flax seed), and Courage (avocado). Bags are single-flavor or all three together.
The "Desert Menu." Okay, this is just silly. I thought the dessert menu at the Royal Banquet Hall should have every item named and themed after a desert area from the LoZ franchise. So there would be the Gerudo Dessert (melon sherbet with whipped cream and raspberries), the Lanayru Dessert (crumble cake with buttercream frosting and sanding sugar), the Dessert of Mystery (ultra-dark chocolate mousse cake), and for large parties, the Dessert Colossus (a huge multiflavor ice cream sundae).
