My thoughts on the new JSA run so far

So, nobody asked for it, but I want to speak and this is my space for that. I am a really big fan of the JSA, with them being my favorite super hero team by a far margin. Therefore, you can imagine how happy I was to know a new series was starting, and being written by the same man who made me fall in love with them, Geoff Johns. To top it off, it features fucking HELENA WAYNE, offspring of one of my favorite ships in fiction, Batman X Catwoman. Well, without further ado, let's start.

This storyline actually starts in the "The New Golden Age" one-shot, that features multiple generations of Doctors Fate seeing impending doom arriving to destroy our beloved super team, but they are never sure how to deal with it. It's implied that Degaton, the time villain is behind it, with him killing the JSA of the 31st century, and mentioning he actually killed this Fate's granddaughter "before". This is an important point for a theory I will present at a later point. We also get to know this new version of Helena Wayne, who is determined to stop her father's killer, and thus wears the mantle of The Huntress.

Now we actually will talk about the new JSA book proper. This first volume starts with Helena searching for her Doctor Fate, Khalid Nassum, who, a day prior warned her about impending danger. To no avail.

With him gone, the tension rises in this generation of the JSA, which is comprised mostly of descendants of super-villains. We have Icicle, Grundy, and even new faces that belong to the famed "13 Children" lost to time. This new team is not approved by Power Girl, one of the last legacy heroes still there. They later find out Fate is already dead, and weirdly it looks like he has been for quite sometime. Then the reveal comes: this time villain, presumably Degaton, has the ability to alter the timestate of whatever he wants, killing all of them using this powerful skill. When he's about to kill Helena, her mother arrives on the scene tells her to search for Fate, and gives her Doctor Manhattan's snow globe, which sends her back in time, to 1940. Selina's fate is unknown to us as of now.

This first volume wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I particularly do not like plots that revolve around time travel, as they tend to get extremely convoluted and very unsatisfaying to see play out. To top it off, I really hate Degaton. His arc in Geoff's run was really hard to get hyped to read (it had some great moments and all, but wasn't my favorite). BUT, this new story could present some really interesting plot points.

My main theory is that "Degaton" is back on his "I will kill EVERY JSA" shenanigans, and is killing them starting with their future versions first, and making his way to the team's origins in the 40's. Therefore, Helena must hurry to get back in the current timeline and stop him before he manages to kill them. I bet this'll be the main plot. And, this will interact with the new Stargirl series properly reintroducing the Lost Children in this timeline. That way, Helena's future will be rewritten, their JSA will actually live up to its name with more people picking the heroes legacies, and Batman won't die (I think "Degaton" is behind this awell).

To be honest, I was kind of disappointed while reading it for the first time, but my mind wasn't calm and in the right place. After reading it again, alongside The New Goden Age, I'm much more interested in it. I hope they manage to tell a cool story, and please let Power Girl be an important character T^T

Speaking of which, I hope they mention or fix the plothole that is PG appearing in the 70s flashback, as it doesn't fit with the current Superman timeline.

Wish fulfillment au of Severus who was born in Albus' Dumbledore's time. I just wanted to post it as a reply on a discord server but then it got out of hand. So

- Two clever swots duking it out... in academics!

- Debating each other of old spells and whether or not they're dark and the librarian jinxing them out of the library with hexes for being too loud

- Albus and Sev rubbing their stung bums and arguing about the hexes the librarian used

- Albus and Sev both discovering they're poor halfbloods and railing against the arswholes in charge who think they can sting their bums and get away with it

- Them stinging each other's bums because it's a fascinating body part and maybe rubbing them with a different set of hands because maybe it'll help, and they're experimental

-Albus viewing the fascinating kid with so much dark potential with new eyes.

-Sev keeping an eye out for the twinkly eyed twit because it's unnerving, really, and because he always found the goodness in others fascinating. He doesn't believe he can emulate it, but maybe some would seep through him in osmosis. That's what that muggle book said anyway

- His ma always said he had a thing for redheads. He's starting to suspect her of practicing black magic

- Albus and Sev working on potions and transfig together because none of them can tell the other they're bloody brilliant and that they're fascinated, and could we just get to stinging bums and rubbing out the soreness please

- Sev visiting the Dumbledore's on summer break because his father is dead and his mother as good as, meeting the creepy girl creature because he's nosy and of course he'd look at the one room Kendra told him not to

- Abe running to Ariana's room because she screams bloody murder. It's only when he gets there that he realises that that bloody snake they let into their house is being accosted by a happily shrieking Arianna who wants to meet this strange new black haired scarecrow her brother likes

- The older one

- Sometimes, Arianna suspects

- Sev being horrified by Ariana's sad tale, and not wanting her to waste away, working with Albus to make sure she can get out

- Abe (begging to) help them because he really wants to, and because he doesn't trust the snake

- Sev learns Abe can't bloody spell after the third time.he has to squint if the bottle has fluxweed or filchweed (Dyslexia is not recognised yet, but it will be, in the muggle world) amd tries to help. It's more insulting than helpful, but he tries!

- Albus feverishly searching for a way to fix what those muggle boys and their mother's imprisonment and his neglect have wrought. Searching in the darkest grimoires, because really, what is honor and goodness if it can't even help his sister?

- Ariana getting her father's silver signet, carved with the runes of protection, family, forgiveness and renewal. They can't fix her magic, but the magic she once loved has caused her loved ones only harm, and really, it's time to stop listening to the voice inside her, who wants to rip her mother to shreds and burn the whole world down

- In the end it's abe, who comforted her when her mum looked at her with hate and Albus ashamed who puts her ring on as she says the words the runes describe. It's hard to forgive her mother and those muggle boys, but Arianna thinks they've suffered enough (it'll be years later that she realises that she left one person, but as she watches her daughter's delightful coo as she Dan's her nose with a glowing goden finger, she is only thankful that her lack of forgiveness didn't take all her magic away).

- She kisses her brother-in-law to be on the cheek, as is only proper for a member of family.

(Ariana has a very feeble grasp on social niceties. She tries, okay! You try learning everything from books while trapped in a cottage like a demented princess, with a brother who even she knows has an unhealthy fascination with goats who'd talk to her normally)

(Arianna's husband and her daughter, who she names Severus --because every universe must have a second child with a severusly controversial name -- would really come to fear her social skills, or lack thereof. Severus blames her godfather and her uncle with a the raging hate of a 10 year old who's been denied Uncle Sev's sweets)

- Sev and Albus competing for the top spot in the classes with professors and the bottom in the classes without

- Albus meeting Gellert in the evening he's supposed to leave for France and noticing the same dark charm. Severus noticing, but wanting to taint it than emulate it

- A black owl pooping on Gellert's golden hair because he Does Not Share!

- Albus sharing his plans to Change The World which would kill a girl with beautiful, uncontrolled magic and put a vengeful father in a prison of his own despair

- Sev agreeing to them and adding some rather inventive and cruel revenges he'd have on the Wankers who disowned his mother for following her heart

- Albus crossing out those points with eyes that twinkle in gentle admonishment, because really Severus, where would you even get a fully grown basilisk, and ignoring the calculating glitter he gets in return

- Abe following the idiots because Ari orders him to help the idiots and he can deny her nothing

- Gellert becoming a Light wizard after being at the wand end of a particularly dark spell (they teach *that* at Hogwarts, the light school!?!?!?!?) By a vengeful gargoyle after he drunkenly kisses*Bruder* Dumbledore

(years later, Headmaster Dippet can't figure out why his newest Dada teacher is so militant about students knowing everything about Dark magic and why some magics should never be studied, or why flinches everytime he sees a mistletoe. He has enough experience at 300 Not To Ask)

- Albus learning the most beautiful healing spell at the hands of a scowling-dark-phoenix with moist, angry black eyes after the 12th use of a dragon's claw soon after he discovered the 12th use of their blood

(Fawkes could never forgive Severus Snape for stealing it's thunder. Also he smells owl. They're the worst!)

-Severus stealing the Flamels' thunder by creating a philosophers stone after being at their home for a month.

(Perenelle suspects it's because Nicholas, who can be really old fashioned about these things, forbade their apprentice and that brilliant boy with no thoughts from rooming together)

- Severus lacing Albus' lemon drops with the elixir of life because clearly, that imbecilic martyr thinks dragon claw wounds are amusing

- Albus lacing Severus' tea with it because it would be such a horrible thing to live alone

(or without the one person who matters, no offence to his family. Oh, alright Abe, you're definitely not it!)

(the elixir of life prepared yearly mysteriously dissappears into tea and lemon drops. Albus stops worrying over Severus getting killed by vampires while he gets their teeth in exchange of galleons like a demented tooth fairy, and Severus stops worrying about Albus getting nicked by antsy Dragons or Phoenixes or Nifflers, or whoever Albus scraps with in his spare time)

- Albus putting his demented convoluted plans in motion by destroying wizarding currency through inflation. It somehow leads to a goblin revolution, equal rights for magical creatures, and the adoption of muggle currency. Don't ask

(Rumour has it that Gellert, Wizarding Britain's champion one look at the the scowling face of a Severus Snape and proposes negotiations.

Muggle currency was great, really. Made mathematical sense, easier to handle, and twinkly eyed not quite evil overlords can't dependably reproduce all the identifiers. They hope

Quite coincidentally, as Severus will assure you, all the pureblood families --including the Princes, coincidentally-- lose all their accumulated money in the resulting changeover.)

- Albus rules everything from behind the iron curtain with gentle fists and an open smile. Everyone learns to agree with him because behind him stands the spectre of DEATHOMgWatdidyoudo that you want to always keep happy)

- An excited Tom Riddle learns about magic from a charming Professor who's really interested in how he speaks, and who agrees that muggles are awful but keep it down will you?

- Tom Riddle learns to confide in and trust the person who introduced him to the magical world; and tells him when he accidentally discovers the chamber of secrets while hissing open at one of the taps in the girls loo that just wouldn't dispense water (he was under a lot of pressure okay! No, he's not a creep!)

- Tom Riddle grows up to be a politician with a particularly hard view on those muggles. Being backed by the Headmaster of Hogwarts helps. The society has made great strides in the concept of equality and democracy however, and most creatures really don't like him for some insane reason. Albus Dumbledore wins the elections by a landslide again. Tom is tenacious, and plots for when he'd get the position after the old man dies

(On his deathbed, Professor Emeritus of Hogwarts, Professor Tom, curses todgy old men with unnaturally long lifespans)

-Harry Potter, who grew up loved and a headmaster who didn't want to train him in any way, shape, or form (Harry was glad. Headmaster Grindenwald was nice and all, but he really didn't want to know all about the Dark arts and why not to use them kplzthnx). He went on to work at the ministry because his mother instilled in him values of fairness, kindness, and Get Out The House And Go To Work You Bum!

- Ariana's first kid is named after Abe. Her second is called Severus. Severus being a girl, never forgives her, and years later, when her son is born, names him Ariana with a vindictive gleam in her eyes.

(Ariana never really learned a the social niceties. They're horribly ineffective, and Abe tells her she's always charming in any case)

(Severus Smith is comforted by the fact that her godfather is a immortal wizard who gives her the best sweets)

- Severus and Albus never really fall out of love, even though they fall out of bed many times. They are a different breed of men, really. Eternal devotion means eternal devotion, as they find out. The Flamels' are happy they finally get to go on what the muggles call double dates.

- They also never stop stinging each other on the bum, but that is a rather more mature tale.

Serenity Grace

* What if... When Darien broke up with Serena, instead of trying to get back together she accepted the fact that Darien no longer loves her; so she broke the bond that ties them together releasing both of them from any future they may share in the future. In doing so her devine blood are slowly return along with her memories of her past and old powers as the daughter of Hades.

       5 months after the Giant war snd union of the two camp. Piper Mclean cheated on her boyfriend Jason Geace, proving that she is no differnt from the rest of her other siblings and mother. They love to play with anymans or woman’s feelings like their mother.

Jason broke things off with Piper before leave Camp Half-Bloof before taking a short break and away from his cheating ex-girkfriend Piper. He decided to go to Tokyo Japan in a city called Juuban. That’s where he meet Serena Tsukino who Darien recently broke up with.

They become friends as the months go by Serena’s old power finally settle back down, and she know that Jason Grace is no ordinary mortal, but a demigod. As they gotten to know each other they bern slowly falling in love with each other especially now that she has fully wwaken, as the daughter of Hades.

          Hades the God of the underworld has felt the prescentvof someone he hadn’t felt since “Little Moon Princess” died 1000 years ago, his daughter Serenity is reborn some where in Japan and her old memories of her past life has been restore once more along with her old powersvand if she has return then my daughter could also possibly be reborn as well.

“But if I have felt my daughter Serenity’s reborn then so had my two brothers. Poseidon and Zeus had both loved his little moon Princess like their own Daughter and would do anything to protect her “Hades thought.

       The Inner Scouts has been slowly been distancing themself from Serena after Darien broke up with her until one day they all kick her out of the team which Serena didn’t mind one bit, so she could stop showing at any scout battle since appearntly they can do it without her so she left the Inner Scouts handel their own battle and now that I stop fighting Youma I have more Free time. I Start Painting again. Which I gaved up after I become Sailor Moon.

And with my free time Jason help me control my ADHD and Dyslexia that I’m getting better at School. And Jason also help me train when he discover that I’m a reborn Daughter of Hades who recently regain all my memories and powers.

          My father Hades finally located me and gaved me two weapon I could use to protect  my self from monsters, my father gaved me a celestial Bronze Spear

Stygian Iron Sword and when they aren’t being use my glaive took the appearance of a necklace

And my sword took the appearnce of a goden bracelet

that I wear at all times even if they are ever stolen they are charmed to return to me.

   He even gaved ne his blessing to date Jason if I want. And like in my past  life my father can still read me like an open book that he knows that I actually have feelings for Jason that he gaved us his blessing to date one another. Something my fathrr never gaved Endymione which make me happy to have my father’s blessing and aproval of the man I Love. After that Jason and I offically start dating one another and without noticing until then and we finally admited to one another that we love eac other.

When Zues found out from his brother Hades that his only Roman demigod Jason Grace has began dating the current self of Princess Serenity. He also gaved his blessing to the new couple after all ge treated Serenity like his own daughter like Poseidon.

And Poseidon was the last one to find out that Princess Serenity has been reborn and has began dating the Roman son of Jupiter, Jason Grace so he also gaved them his blessing as well.

       4 months later...

 I start doing well in school now that I no longer fight Youma every damm day and night. And with Jason’s help did wounders to control my ADHD and Dyslrxia. And even Ms.Haruna is even impress with the improvement of my grade I’m now receving B or C in my class.

Jason and I has gottenmuch closer since we start dating offically 4 and 1/2 months ago. But lately the Youma attack has increase in number and the scouts and Tuxedo Mask are starting to get over welm. That’s when I start steping in and helping them at the last minute from dificult predictiment and take care of the Youma. I left without saying anything  to them. 

But my transformation has an upgrade since I am now Supreme Sailor Moon which is my strongest form.

A week later...

    A pink hair girl at the age of 8 years old shiw up out of the blue and now my mortal family seem to think that the girl is tgeir releative. But I have no memoties of her what’s so ever and the fact that my mortal parents are an only child their for this Rini can’t possibly my cousin the daughter “Uncle” since I don’t have a mortal Uncle. 

    And another thing the Little Gurl Riji tried to enter my room, but that’s no use now thst my memories has return along with my powers, I put alot of security in my room that allow no one, but me to enter my room so she can’t enter as she please.

“ Guys I think we need to ask Serena to become Sailor Moon again and rejion the team, the Youma are getting stronger everyday” Minako saud.

“ No way... we don’t need meatball head’s help to destroy the Youma” Rei replied.

“ I think Minako’s righton this one. Sailor Moon seem to have an upgrade on her transformation and seem to be the only one who can destroy the Youma and she only show up at the last minute  to save our asses” Lita said.

“ I agree on Minako and Lita on this one Rei" Ami said.

“Fine, but she better not be late in our meeting”Rei said.

The next day...

“ Serena can wevtalk for a minute” Minako said.

“ Sure... what do you 3 want?” Serena ask.

“We want you to join the team again” Ami said.

“ Now why woukd I do that. Now that I don’t have to fight the Youma every day and night, I get alot of free time to do what I want so sorry, but no thinks” Serena said.

“.....” the three girls were speechless.

“Now if you aren’t going to say something else I’ll be be going, beside you guys kick were the one who kick me out ofvthe team, rememver the only thing I’ll be doing is saving your ass when uou can’t handel the Youma. Now Good day I have somewhere to be” Serena said.

“ what so special that your in a hurry” Lita ask.

“It’s not like it ‘s any your bussiness, but I have a date with my boyfriend.” Serena said. 

“Ah.. hate to berst your bubble, but Serena you and Darien broke up remember” Minako said.

“ oh.. I know that but see I wasn’t talking about Darien. I’m talking about my new boyfriend Jason. Well if that’s all goodbye girls. “ Serena said before walking away from her ex-friends and walk to where Jason was waiting for her at school Gate and she kiss him on the lips.

Minako, Ami and Lita watch as serena and her new boyfriend leave the School ground.

“Ah... Do you think Darien knows that Serena is now dating some one else" Lita said.

“”Doutful beside it’s jis own fault for break up with her in the first place when it’s obvious that he still in loves with her. And I can’t fault Serena for that that guy he is a hottie " Minako said.

“Minako” lita and ami said at the same time.

“What I’m just saying” Minako.

At Rei’s family Shrine....

“ Ah... She’s late as always!” Rei shouted, when Serena didn’t show up.

“Ah... Rei that would only count if Serena is planning on showing up at all” Minako said.

“Whay do you mean by that?” Rei ask.

“Serena turn down our offer to rejoin the team” Lita said.

“What!!?” Rei shouted

         Darien shield haven’t find out that Serena has finally moved on  and was now dating a new guy name Jason. But he evenutally heard from Andrew that Serena has a new Boyfriend that she been for almost a year now. And I ecen saw her in one of their dates, Serena is mre alive and happy with her new boyfriend then she ever bern with me.

The scouts finally meet Rini when she was attack by the Youma and they found out that  she’s from the future she come to the past to ask some help to save her mother. Who was put into a sleep spell. All the inner scouts went to the future leaving the past unprotected if it weren’t for Supreme Sailor Moon and Jason who was wearing a disguised to hide his identity. Doom Phantom attack the past after all the inner scouts and Tuxedo Mask went to the future but he end up facing both Jason and Supreme Sailor Moon.

 I manged to convince my mortal parents to allow me to study aboard instead of staying in Japan so after the school year end I’ll be moving to San Fransico with Jason since I know the scouts can handel their own and if not the outer scouts will wake soon, but I felt something wrong with the bond I had with Hotaru, so I went and check on her the rebornself of my younger half sister Hotaru who also happen to be Sailor Saturn.

  Hotaru’s body is being possessed by an Alien invaders that’s from outside our Galaxy. So I destroy the Alien that took possesed of Hotaru’s body and heal everything that happen to her after the Alien has been purge out of her body when I heal my sister she has reverted back into a baby before her growth acceloreted and Return to her proper age which happen to be the same age as them 16 years old.

Hotaru’s memories of her past life and powers as a child of Hades are restore once again. She accompanying both Jason and myself when we left Japan. Since I maybe her older half-sister in our past life, but I’m still her princess that she serve. And Technically I’m leaving Japan without one of my scouts so she decided to come with me.

  Beside Hotaru has never been close yo any of the other scouts being the scout of Death and rebirth, so she has always been misunderstood the only one who ever understand and accept her was myself.

 Our father Hades felt my awaking and gaved Hotaru a Celestial Bronze Glaive. Identical to her chosen weapon as Sailor Saturn. And Stygian Iron kanata when it’s not being use it’s a charm bracelet.

   When the Inner scouts return to their timeline, It was already the end of the year and Serena & Jason and Hotaru already pack all their things and book a flight to San Fransico so the 3 of them would be going to Camp Jupiter.

Leo Valdez is slready at Camp Jupiter after Jason left camp half-blood atbout 1 and 1/2 ago. Thdt he would unlikely return to camp half blood, he most likely wouldn’t want to see Piper for a couple years unless he dose something he’ll regret.

   I meet Horaru the Daughter of Hades through Jason and they become friends. The longer they get to know one another the more they fall in love with one another. Like Jason and his new girlfriend Serena who is yhe reborn daughter of Hades and Hotaru’s older half sister.

    Sailor Pluto was confused as to why Sailor Moon wasn’t with the inner scouts when they came to the future, but she thought nothing of it. And perhaps  if she has aak where Sailor Moon was. And she wouldn’t be watching the future she so cherish dearly crumble to the grown until it’s nothing. And a new future has began to form, until Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon the 3 Eldest Gods hidden the newly forming Future from her sight.

She dosrn’t know what’s happening, but one thing she is sirten Crystal Tokyo will never come to pass, if princess Serenity never married the Prince of Earth but thatcshould be impossible Princess Serenity loves the Prince dearly, their must be another reason why Crystal Tokyo crumble yo the grown and a new future forming as we speak. I believe the answered layied in the past. I would investage if I could but I’m forbbiden from leave the Gate unprotected. So I can’t do anything but watch.

3 years later...

The outers scouts Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are awaken to help the inner scouts fight tge Youma. And now their Princess is no where in Japan they don’t even know her exact location. All the scouts are now 18 years old and Darien is now 21 years old who recently graduated Harver before returning to Japan.

         Jason Grace ask his long time girlfriend Serena Tsukino daughter of Hades if she would give him the honor of becoming my wife and she said “yes” for a minute Ibthought that I was proposing to early to Serena, but I am proven wrong.

    Piper Mclean Haven’t seen Jason after she end up cheating on him with a random son of Hermes, a few months after the Giant war ended. He left Camp Half Blood and took a break away from the life of a Dekigod for a whole year and half before he moved back to Camp Jupitet, I knew this because Leo move to Camp Jupiter a year after Jason left Cof camp Half-Blood. I would have gone to Camp Jupiter to talk to him, but I don’t think he would want to see me after I cheated on him.

When Thalia Grace found out that Piper Mclean cheated on her brother she attack her at camp yelling many sort of name to call Piper like “Slut, Whore and other stuff. And Even Artemis the goddess of the Hunt and Maidenhood look shock that a Maiden is capable  of cheating on a male.

Leo Valdez decided to visit his galf siblings in Camp Half-blood along side his girlfriend Hotaru the daughter of Hades. Whilevshe never went active like the other scouts in japan but she is in the same level as Serena currently is. She’s in supreme Sailor Saturn transformation.

While Leo is in camp half-blood Piper ask about Jason.

“Well.. Jason’s doing fine. He recently gotten Enganged to his time girlfriend Serena for 4 years now so it’s be expected that he’ll ask her sooner than later” Leo said.

"He..He's getting married?” Piper ask.

“Yeah... wait don't tell ne Piper..your still in love with Jason after you cheated on him” Leo said.

“ I didn’t meant to cheat on him it was an accident” Piper said.

“No you don’t just “accidently” cheat on your Piper; I’m asking you as your friend. Don’t ruwin the happines the Jason found. He moved on and he’s happy with Serena, and so should you” Leo said, before walking away from Piper fallowed by Hotaru who gaved Piper a glear at the Girl Daring her to try to ruwin her sister’s happines.

Hotaru gaved birth to her girst daughter Hilda Lilana Valdez who look like her own mother but with her father’s brown hsir.

Hikari Serenity Grace was 2 years old by then.

14 years old...

Hikari Serenity Grace is now 16 years old and 

Hilda Lilana Valdez is now 14 years old and they both decided to see Washington since their monster scent are being hiden by the earing that Leo Valdez created years ago when their parents decided to live in the normal world, beside we graduate College early since we are super smart.

And that Greek and Roman Monster actually exist and they aren’t acutally werewolfcas they all first thought but a wolf shifter blessesd by the Greek Goddess Hera the Godddess of Marriaged and Family.

 Hikari and Hilda still accpted them after finding out what they are. It wasn’t long after that both Paul and Seth manged to catch up with the red hair leech Victoria and dispost of her.

 The elder gaved that wolf pack (which consisted of  Sam Uley, Jared Camron, Embry Call, Quil Ateara, Jake Black, Leah Clearwater, Seth Clearwater,and Paul Lahote) permission to leave their tribe land, if they all want. Both Seth and Paul took it since their has been any Leech in sight of Washington and moved to San Fransico were they meet their girlfriend’s parents.
