Spreading the word is so exhausting. People are so mean, rude, & agressive for like...no reason.

The majority think I'm insane & talking nonsense, just cause we don't see him clearly doesn't mean he's not real.

I know that Jesus said "If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first." I now understand it better.

People laugh or make fun of me because I talk about the bible or how he saved me or how lovely he is & that he is real. It breaks my heart when even my bsf thinks i'm talking nonsense for telling how things really are and how they're going to get in the future.

My spirit goes low because i get tired of this, but I still have faith in my Lord.

People praise what's toxic and bad & they see the good/kindness as weird. It honestly breaks my heart just thinking about those who *if* they don't repent will go to H3ll. Even some Christians will end up there too. For changing the word of God, and not really obeying his commands.

Ik I shouldn't get offended or sensitive but I can't help it, I've a soft heart. But also, my patience runs out quick.

God loves you queen.

Scanning whatever room you are in, face beat, smelling like Chanel… as you try to keep it together looking around at the other women who look like they have it all together more than you. Trying to sit up straight like you were taught... Feeling less like a lady and everything within you and around you is falling apart and crumbling. That brave face we put on at work, at church, as we cook, as we clean, as we drive. That brave face we put on when our soul is hurting and God feels far from us. No one knows how much it aches and we hold it in so deep that it begins to haunt us like a bad dream. Women go through so much… I'm aware my peers do for sure. Look good, but don’t feel good and don’t talk about the thoughts in our head or the things we think no one will understand. The pain, the warfare… the obstacles we fear and hide with a new outfit and earrings. Look good, but don’t feel good. Sitting up high, smelling of vanilla while we pray to God to grip us just for even a few more seconds. I realize it's important to check on the women in our lives. The women we think have it together and more importantly check in with yourself. You deserve love… and God's love is the best love at all. Even when God feels far, he is near. Through the anger, pain and unforgiveness… he is still with us. As women… young women especially I think we see God as a conditional Father when he truly loves us. He will correct us and teach us to not do certain things for our protection, but God doesn’t wave us off because of our flaws. We oftentimes see God as a daddy who loves us on condition. He is near and he loves us. Oh, how painful it is to be in a full room of people and still feel alone. But through that pain, there is a lesson. And you are God’s daughter. He absolutely loves you and wants to wipe the tears and sit with you. You don’t have to have it all together, you don’t have to be perfect. You’re fine just the way you are in god’s eyes, and he loves you enough to correct you. I feel in my heart God hurts when us ladies hurt, and he loves us with a love that can’t be understood with our own comprehension. The things that hurt bad, the things we don’t talk about, the things we hold in… those are the things God wants to hear about even though he already knows about it. Don’t complicate it and let God be who you go to. He loves you queen. Don’t give up and remember how much God truly loves you.

John the Baptist, Jesus’ own cousin, was in prison for preaching the truth. He had baptized Jesus, had seen the Holy Spirit descend on him like a dove, and had heard the voice of God say “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

John had seen it, and heard it, yet in his despair he began to question it. Why was he in prison if the Son of God had come? Why were the Romans still in charge? Why was Herod still on the throne? Why was there still evil? He sent some disciplescto ask, “Are you the One, or are we to wait for another?”

He had seen! He had heard! And his suffering caused him to doubt. How like John we all are.

How did Jesus reply? “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them. And blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me.”

We all want the healing to happen to us, the cleansing, the raising. And we want it to happen now!But just because it isn’t happening to us right this moment does not mean it isn’t happening.

God is working out his design at his own pace. He will bring his kingdom, the new heaven and new earth, in the fullness of his time. And while we wait, often in the midst of sorrow, shadow, death, and oppression, we must turn in faith back to the One who experienced the worst that we could do to him, and who loved us from the cross, to find hope and endurance in trust that his resurrection will also be ours someday.

May that day come quickly! In this Advent season of hopeful waiting, we cry out maranatha!, Lord, come quickly!
