Genesis 40:8 (NIrV). “We both had dreams,” they answered. “But no one can tell us what they mean.”Then Joseph said to them, “Only God knows what dreams mean. Tell me your dreams.”
Genesis 50:20 (NLT). “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”
Romans 8:28 (ICB). “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. They are the people God called, because that was his plan.”
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT). “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
“Six Dreams that Came True” By Bible Love Notes:
5 Reasons that God entrusted Joseph with 6 life-changing dreams.
Joseph’s life involved six dreams: two about his destiny, two about the destiny of two fellow prisoners, and two about the destiny of Egypt (Genesis 37-41).
Why did God entrust Joseph with these dreams?
God had a purpose for Joseph's life, and Joseph had these godly qualities:
1. Joseph gave God the credit (Genesis 40:8; Genesis 41:15-16).
He never took credit for the special insights, abilities, and favor God gave him.
2. Joseph persevered.
He spent thirteen years in slavery and twenty-two years separated from his family.
3. Joseph refused to be sidetracked by sin (Genesis 39:6-18). He refused the advances of Potiphar's wife at great personal expense.
4. Joseph did his best in the worst of circumstances because the Lord was with him (Genesis 39:2, 23).
5. Joseph knew sinful people could not thwart God’s plan (Genesis 50:20). Genesis 50:20 is an incredible, faith-filled statement much like Romans 8:28.
God has a plan for each of our lives (Ephesians 2:10), and Joseph's example can serve us well.”

Feeding on God's Word: The Path to Spiritual Maturity
At the moment of faith in Christ, believers know very little about God, His will, or the many blessings He has provided. Spiritually, they are ignorant babies. This is not a negative, but the reality of the situation. Prior to salvation, the soul is filled with human viewpoint, which is often contrary to God and His Word. This is why Christians are directed to renew their minds (Rom 12:1-2).…

You are God's work of art
Part 3/3 You were created to do good works
In Part 2 we saw that that each believer is God’s work of art, or even you could say God’s masterpiece.
Today: We explore what it means that we were created in Christ Jesus to do good works
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do
Good works are not to gain salvation, which would place confidence in ourselves. Good works are to follow salvation so that they too are a fruit of God’s good work in our lives. The new life does not only provide a faith to believe in Christ for salvation but a faith to live out God’s plan for our lives.
It is here that we see the glorious power in the faith that He has given to us. Paul’s argument is straightforward. If we are saved, then we are saved to live out good works such as Christ would do. Paul is expanding the notion of what it means to be raised up together with Christ. Christ lives through our lives in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Good works prepared for us
John 13:14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. First thing to note is Jesus gave us the perfect example of the good works we are called to do. This scripture is talking about refreshing one another on the dusty road of life.
Following Jesus example there are many good works prepared for us, sharing the good news, praying for the sick, giving to the poor, listening to someone’s troubles etc. etc. It is when we are doing such good works that we display the fruit of the spirit [1], love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. This is the good fruit Jesus want us to display.
Please note we need to embrace these good works although God has prepared them for us.
Ask the Lord what good works he has prepared for you today?
Prayer Lord, we thank you that you have created us to be unique, your work of art, your masterpiece and for a specific purpose, that we might do the good works such as Jesus did. Lord show each one of us what good work you have prepared for me/us to do today and indeed every day. Amen

Proverbs 4:23-27 "Carefully guard your thoughts because they are the source of true life. Never tell lies or be deceitful in what you say. Keep looking straight ahead, without turning aside. Know where you are headed, and you will stay on solid ground. Don't make a mistake by turning to the right or the left."

“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:3 I am sure many of us have witnessed two distinct ways of singing a song and playing an instrument; and one appears to be more of a gift or an acquired gift than the other. There is the soloist and musician who studies the notes and practices methodically until the…

God Sees You – Right Where You Are
Let me ask you this: “When was the last time you glanced in the mirror and thought, “Well, there’s a masterpiece!” If you’re anything like me, you’re probably more familiar with thinking, “Who is that tired person, and why do they have my face?” But here’s the real deal, my friends: whether you love the reflection in that mirror or avoid it like it’s a bad selfie, God sees you. I mean really…

What Does God See in Us?
Introduction This week, my wife and I are celebrating 31 wonderful years of marriage. As our anniversary approaches, I find myself reflecting on the many blessings we’ve shared over the years. There have been more than a few moments when I’ve looked at my wife and thought, “What does she see in me?” In moments of doubt or struggle, I’ve sometimes wondered how I could possibly measure up to the…

‭‭Psalm 139:14 (NASB2020‬‬). “I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”
Ephesians 2:10 (AMP). “For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”
“On Glorious Display” by In Touch Ministries:
“Our Creator lovingly crafted each of us into a masterpiece to reveal His glorious love.”
“Did you ever study Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting “The Starry Night”? It’s a captivating blend of circles and swirls that form a dreamlike sky. On one level, it’s intriguing to picture yourself in the scene and imagine the vivid sights and gentle breeze implied by the curling forms. But if you look more closely, you’ll begin to see nothing about the painting is haphazard. Every stroke of blue, yellow, green, white, and purple is unique and intentional, creating contrast between sky and stars. The combination of colors brings depth and richness to the composition, and each hue is enriched because it exists in harmony with those around it.
As beautiful as van Gogh’s masterwork might be, it pales in comparison to what the Creator has accomplished in us, His beloved children. We believers are each a unique blend of personality, gifts, and experiences that God has mixed together and continually applies so we simultaneously enhance and are enhanced by those around us.
What an honor it is to be God’s handiwork! While every Christian is a small piece of the whole of creation, we never lose our distinctiveness or get lost in the grandeur of the big picture. Quite the contrary—God knows exactly where we are and keeps us in mind as He adds others to His magnum opus.”

Today’s Scripture Ephesians 2:10, NLT For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Today’s Word In the early 1500s, Michelangelo had a dream to sculpture King David out of a block of marble that stood over twenty feet tall. He worked tirelessly for two years, chiseling and shaping with great precision. When he…
