‭‭Psalm 139:14 (NASB2020‬‬). “I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”
Ephesians 2:10 (AMP). “For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].”
“On Glorious Display” by In Touch Ministries:
“Our Creator lovingly crafted each of us into a masterpiece to reveal His glorious love.”
“Did you ever study Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting “The Starry Night”? It’s a captivating blend of circles and swirls that form a dreamlike sky. On one level, it’s intriguing to picture yourself in the scene and imagine the vivid sights and gentle breeze implied by the curling forms. But if you look more closely, you’ll begin to see nothing about the painting is haphazard. Every stroke of blue, yellow, green, white, and purple is unique and intentional, creating contrast between sky and stars. The combination of colors brings depth and richness to the composition, and each hue is enriched because it exists in harmony with those around it.
As beautiful as van Gogh’s masterwork might be, it pales in comparison to what the Creator has accomplished in us, His beloved children. We believers are each a unique blend of personality, gifts, and experiences that God has mixed together and continually applies so we simultaneously enhance and are enhanced by those around us.
What an honor it is to be God’s handiwork! While every Christian is a small piece of the whole of creation, we never lose our distinctiveness or get lost in the grandeur of the big picture. Quite the contrary—God knows exactly where we are and keeps us in mind as He adds others to His magnum opus.”

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

You formed me in my mother's womb
And colored the hair on my head
You formed me in my mother's womb
And colored the hair on my head
If ever I forget
Remind me once again
You heard my first cry
You heard a dream come true
Abba, You heard my first cry
You heard a dream come true
If ever I forget
Remind me once again
That I am fearfully and wonderfully made
You do all things well
You don't make mistakes
I am wonderfully made

It took a while, but I love my face now. My eyes are a pretty color and a unique shape, even though it makes eyeliner virtually impossible. My eyebrows are cool, and I’ve learned to love and embrace the unibrow-ness. I love my freckles (I always have, actually), and am coming to terms with how pale I am. I’m still insecure about my teeth, not because they aren’t “perfect”, but because of my braces.
Self-love is a journey and a daily effort. You can always find someone to deem better-looking than you, someone you can idolize, or someone to whom you can compare yourself. The thing is to realize that there is nothing wrong with the way you look. There is nothing wrong with your hair. There is nothing wrong with your complexion. All these things over which we berate ourselves, in the end, mean nothing. We do not win joy by having “perfect” teeth or “perfect” brows. Joy comes from knowing that you are loved, regardless of how you look. It comes from feeling beautiful in your own body, because you are. Don’t ever believe anyone who tries to tell you that you are anything but beautiful. You are not a mistake, and nothing about you is a mistake. You were made the way you are for a reason—if we were all the same, what good would that do?
No negativity allowed on this post! Only self love!

Saturday Soliloquy: Blessings
It’s a gorgeous day today. breezy and sunny. A perfect day to honor a new baby who will arrive in April, which is what we did this morning at a baby shower for the mommy of the coming baby. It was a very happy affair, with fun games, good food, and a lot of conversation around several tables. As we enjoyed the festivities, I thought about the fuss we like to make when a new baby is on the way.…

We are a ll a puzzle piece in the map of God's heart
Every last person is created fearfully and with love. Often I wonder about this, surely I believe it for my kids and I, but what about those that are against me. What about those that are my enemy? How could God fearfully and lovingly create an enemy for me. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;    your works are wonderful,    I know that full well. Psalm 139:14 God says I…

Psalm 139:1-14 (NLT). “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.”
“Fearfully and Wonderfully Made” By In Touch Ministries:
“The Lord sees beyond who you are to who you can be.”
“Looking at all He had created, God declared that it was very good (Genesis 1:31). We’ve been “awesomely and wonderfully made,” with great potential for service in His kingdom (Ps. 139:14; Ephesians 2:10). However, some of us may doubt that this is true, because we notice so many ways in which we fall short. Let’s look at some biblical examples of people who might have felt the same way.
Moses appeared to have many advantages while he was growing up in Pharaoh’s household. Then he killed an Egyptian and fled the country. No longer did he seem a likely candidate to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. But God looked beyond what Moses had done and saw who he could become.
Paul, prior to salvation, persecuted those who believed in Jesus. Yet through God’s mercy, the apostle became a mighty evangelist and author of almost half of the New Testament.
Peter denied—not once but three times—that he knew Jesus. Still, the Lord chose this simple fisherman to preach on the day of Pentecost.
God sees beyond our human frailties to the prospect of what we’re able to become in Him. Because His Spirit dwells in us, we have a greater capacity for spiritual transformation than we can imagine. Seek to become the person God has equipped you to be.”
