Touch not Mine Anointed
Psalm 105:13-15. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, He reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not Mine anointed, and do My prophets no harm. The verses prior to these recount the wandering years of Israel, and mention how they were protected from harm by God Himself. Abraham could have been killed for…

[ID: a banner-style image with smudged, grungy text. The banner says "blog update" in bold, capital letters. The background is textured green and white with a film border around it. The upper left corner says "official photograph not to be released for publication." /end ID]
Happy update day!
Greenwarden, Eryinys, and TKP's chapter 1 updates are all coming along very smoothly. (Except for Greenwarden. Firstborn problem indeed. I ended up losing a ton of work -- including the whole library update -- and I got so mad I started working on a whole other route. Coming back to the library route soon, though. I have enough salvageable material, I just need to be Not Mad about it.) Here's some snippets!
CONTENT WARNING: Gore
GREENWARDEN
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug. Sprinting down the street doesn't even hurt, even if you do leave a long blood trail behind you. Your one hope is that the coyote is too preoccupied tearing chunks out of Eddie to pay attention to you. Hope is dangerous -- makes you cocky. Makes you make mistakes. You keep running toward what you think is safety, and you end up right at the edge of Warden Forest. Definitely not safety. You stop just before the mouth of the woods, breathing so hard you gag, your stomach half-open like a yawning mouth. Deep breaths hurt too much -- you can't bring yourself back to baseline. You risk losing your adrenaline rush if you do that anyway. Looking around looks the same. Woods and parking lot, woods and parking lot. There's a trail right ahead of you, tempting you inside. The click of nails against asphalt makes you whirl around. The damn coyote is right behind you, still licking gristle from its teeth.
ERINYS
Marik leads you to a corner covered in paper thin monitors. Cords feed into the biggest computer you may have ever seen, protected from the water and soap by thick rubber casing and a raised platform surrounded by guardrails painted yellow and black. The ramp vibrates under heel. You realize, with a start, that the computer and monitors are much lower to the floor than you'd expect, just as the engineer wheels around to face you both. "Sorenson," Marik says. The engineer grins with a mouthful of pearly white teeth and leans back in his chair, arms folded over his stomach. He's all hard planes. Built with lean muscle, broad-shouldered like DANIEL is, but with a shock of curly red hair and a mess of dark freckles. He has a dimple on his nose. "Marik," Sorenson says, wheeling his chair back to make room for you both. "All systems good. I'm running tune-up software now, just to make sure. Everything is brand new, but still. Can't be too careful." He glances at you. Nothing escapes Marik's notice, even bent across the desk to glare into screens running codes and diagnostics and other things that make you dizzy. Absently, he introduces you to each other. The engineer's name is Doctor Matthew Sorenson. He looks awfully young to be a doctor. "Fury, huh?" Dr. Sorenson raises his eyebrows. You flex your hands. "Whatever keeps you alive, I guess."
THE KING'S PHYSICIAN
The Maw is a jagged white chalkscape. You have to march in single file, careful to avoid the razor sharp juts of rock. The horses are nervous -- the wolf packs and cave lions living in the Teeth have perfected the art of the ambush. Not just that -- the endless bone white expanse can cause the distracted to become easily lost. You keep close count of everyone -- you, Sibir, and Leniza -- their aunt. She gives the whole company water blessings on the way in. Salt water from the Archipelago, to fine their ways home. -> Not that you believe in blessings. You are a person of science. -> You give your own blessings when you can. You can never have too many gods at your disposal. -> You don't have an opinion on religion -- it's something that exists. Annoyingly prevalent, but what can you do?
I'm hoping at least one of these guys will be ready to publish by next month -- but I'm also writing another book! Because I'm crazy. So we'll see!
#blog update#ive gotten three rejections on the first book so far!! which is good!!#it means people are actually looking at it#anyways im in my medicated insanity era so im churning out content like its my job#[it is my job]

Words of Wisdom Are Better than Gold
1 It isn't smart to get drunk! Drinking makes a fool of you and leads to fights. 2 An angry ruler is like a roaring lion— make either one angry, and you are dead. 3 It makes you look good when you avoid a fight— only fools love to quarrel. 4 If you are too lazy to plow, don't expect a harvest. 5 Someone's thoughts may be as deep as the ocean, but if you are smart, you will discover them.
6 There are many who say, “You can trust me!” But can they be trusted? 7 Good people live right, and God blesses the children who follow their example. 8 When rulers decide cases, they weigh the evidence. 9 Can any of us really say, “My thoughts are pure, and my sins are gone”?
10 Two things the Lord hates are dishonest scales and dishonest measures. 11 The good or bad that children do shows what they are like. 12 Hearing and seeing are gifts from the Lord. 13 If you sleep all the time, you will starve; if you get up and work, you will have enough food. 14 Everyone likes to brag about getting a bargain. 15 Sensible words are better than gold or jewels.
16 You deserve to lose your coat if you loan it to someone to guarantee payment for the debt of a stranger. 17 The food you get by cheating may taste delicious, but it turns to gravel. 18 Be sure you have sound advice before making plans or starting a war. 19 Stay away from gossips— they tell everything. 20 Children who curse their parents will go to the land of darkness long before their time. 21 Getting rich quick may turn out to be a curse. 22 Don't try to get even. Trust the Lord, and he will help you.
23 The Lord hates dishonest scales and dishonest weights. So don't cheat! 24 How can we know what will happen to us when the Lord alone decides? 25 Don't fall into the trap of making promises to God before you think! 26 A wise ruler severely punishes every criminal. 27 Our inner thoughts are a lamp from the Lord, and they search our hearts. 28 Rulers are protected by God's mercy and loyalty, but they must be merciful for their kingdoms to last. 29 Young people take pride in their strength, but the gray hairs of wisdom are even more beautiful. 30 A severe beating can knock all of the evil out of you! — Proverbs 20 | Contemporary English Version (CEV) Contemporary English Version Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society. The white mob that held Memphis in terror for three terrible days in May 1866 targeted black churches for destruction. They burned wood frame buildings and ruined even a large brick church building. According to the Congressional inquiry into the massacre, the mob destroyed every black church in Memphis. The Congressional report recounted the testimony of preachers from African American churches whose lives had been threatened by white residents during and after the massacre.
Why would the white mob deliberately target black churches during the Memphis massacre? What did these churches represent – both to formerly enslaved Memphians and to white Memphians? How did black churches support African Americans’ struggle for civil and political rights in the post-emancipation South?
Slave Religion & Emancipation
Christianity had a long, complex history among American slaves. Historian Albert Raboteau’s classic Slave Religion: The “Invisible Institution” in the Antebellum South charted this history nearly forty years ago. He showed that despite slaveholders’ efforts to teach a version of Christianity centered on obedience to masters, slaves created complex religious cultures combining African religious retentions and Christian practices. Raboteau concluded with the observation of African American theologian Howard Thurman that, “By some amazing but vastly creative spiritual insight, the slave undertook the redemption of a religion that the master had profaned in his midst.” On the eve of emancipation, slave religion had become a vital cultural force, insisting on the humanity of those caught in the dehumanizing system of slavery. As spirituals – the theological writings of slaves – maintained, the God who brought the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, destroyed the walls of Jericho, and protected Daniel in the lion’s den would upend the social order to free American slaves from bondage. Enslaved Christians worked for and longed for that divinely directed emancipation.
When the Civil War came to the Mid-South, black Christians recognized it as an opportunity for their exodus from slavery. On a West Tennessee farm, Isaac Lane, a slave preacher who would later found Lane College, led prayer meetings of fellow slaves praying that the Civil War would bring emancipation. Local whites badly beat Lane when they learned of his prayer meetings. This violence testified to the strong potential for liberation that white southerners recognized in black Christianity.
With emancipation, African Americans rapidly formed their own churches. Antebellum southern churches had contained several hundred thousand enslaved members. Once free, these black Christians left white-controlled churches, much to the surprise of white Christians who did not understand why former slaves would not want to remain as second class members in segregated balconies. Freed people across rural areas and towns built rough church buildings almost overnight, despite the poverty they endured. These churches hosted day, night, and Sunday schools for black adults and children, often with support from northern missionary groups.
Churches supported black southerners’ claims for civil and political rights as citizens at a time when those rights were deeply contested. For that support, black churches earned white southerners’ criticism – and violence.
Black Churches and Citizenship
After emancipation, there were many unanswered questions about African Americans’ place in the newly reunited nation. What civil or political rights could they exercise? Would free blacks be equal citizens with white Americans? Black churches supported African Americans’ claims for civil and political rights by hosting political gatherings and mass meetings and by allowing black southerners to claim an important common identity with local whites as fellow Christians.
In the infamous Dred Scott decision in 1857, the U.S. Supreme Court had ruled that people of African descent, whether slave or free, were not citizens of the United States. The Fourteenth Amendment would overrule that decision, declaring that all persons born in the U.S. were citizens, but that amendment would only be ratified two years after the Memphis Massacre. Even if it were granted, what citizenship meant was also uncertain. Women’s presence as citizens who could not vote showed that citizenship did not guarantee equal political rights.
The Congressional Report on the Memphis Massacre talked of the “citizens” of Memphis as its longtime white residents. The document implicitly excluded newly-arrived northern whites and black residents when it spoke of the “citizens” who shaped public opinion in Memphis. Both access to citizenship and the rights that came with citizenship proved a shifting ground in the post-emancipation South.
Because citizenship was such an uncertain category, identity as Christians became all the more important for black Memphians – and other former slaves – as they sought to assert their civil and political rights. Insisting that they were fellow Christians with their white neighbors was an important way for black Memphians to assert themselves as equal to whites. While racial identity was a fixed, rigid category, religious identity could change. Southern preachers had long stressed that Christian conversion was available to all, whether slave or free, black or white. The more fully that black residents could insist that Christian identity should signify who belonged in Memphis, the more they could put themselves in that category of belonging. Religious identity gave black Memphians a malleable category to use instead of the fixed categories of race that excluded them from whiteness and from citizenship.
In making these claims, Memphis’ black community drew upon the widely accepted valued of Christian identity and behavior. As Major Gen. George Stoneman worked to restore order after the massacre, he wrote that Memphians must “govern themselves as a law-abiding and Christian community.” Missionary teachers from northern states interviewed after the massacre explained that they were working for the “education and Christianization” of black Memphians. The 1866 report makes clear that Christian behavior was a widely accepted goal. Black Memphians’ insistence that their Christian identity made them worthy of civil and political rights alongside white residents proved a savvy, effective strategy. But these efforts were also a consistent interpretation of generations of black Christianity.
In May 1866, black churches were full of Memphians who had long prayed that the God who had brought the ancient Israelites out of slavery in Egypt would free them from the horrors of the South’s peculiar institution. The churches held schools, community meetings, and political rallies in addition to their religious services. Churches helped black Memphians try to claim an equal status as fellow Christians with white southerners.
The white mob that targeted black churches during the Memphis massacre would not have done so by chance or by mistake. White Memphians knew that black churches occupied a central place in the black community’s quest for civil and political rights. Destroying all of Memphis’ black churches showed the mob’s effort to destroy the black community’s hope, their schools, their political advocacy, and their meeting places.
Fortunately, the mob did not have the final word. Within months, black churches would be rebuilt and would again be filled day and night with schools and religious services. They would continue to serve as centers for community organizing and political action. And they would continue to insist that black and white Memphians, as fellow Christians, deserved equal civil and political rights.

Dando - 8
Things you said when you were crying
Lando woke with a startle, his hands frantically and automatically searching the bed for Leo. His heart pounding in his chest because all he could think about was him having hurt his son again with his carelessness.
He could feel his breath catching as he sat up, not spotting him in the crib Lando had pulled in earlier so he could nap or in the little make shift nest he had made to hold Leo still.
As he searched, Lando let out frantic whines. His distress spilling out of him because he had lost his son. He had fallen asleep and lost his son. Leo, who he had already let down in life, could be injured and Lando was just sleeping.
The thought brought tears to his eyes until Lando was scrambling to search under the bed. Vision blurred by tears and a knot of guilt and self hate growing in his stomach as he couldn't spot him.
"Lando?", Daniel voice's cut through the noise and Lando turned to see him standing in the door way, concern etched into every part of his face.
"I...I lost Leo. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep and now he's gone, oh god he's gone", Lando sobbed, crumpling into a heap on the floor as his whole body trembled.
Daniel and Max would never trust him again after this.
"Baby, breath for me, okay? You've done nothing wrong, sweetheart. You needed to sleep, and that's okay", Dnaiel soothed, crouching in front of him, "I promise you Leo is safe, and that he is fine, I promise. You didn't hurt him"
"I did, I lost him, I lost our baby again", Lando choked, his mind reminding him of how Leo had come into the world, the pain he had caused his son from the moment he was born and now he was gone, "I hurt him again. I shouldn't be a parent Daniel, you shouldn't leave me with them. All I do is hurt them"
"I'm going to hug you, yeah? And then I want you to look at this for me, okay?", Daniel spoke calmly and Lando didn't resist as the other pulled him into his arms and handed him his phone which was tuned into their nursery cam, "See? Leo is fast asleep in his proper crib. He woke up while you were napping and I got home early so I changed him, and put him back down so you could sleep more. He's fine baby, we can go get him once you feel okay"
Lando took a shuddering breath, eyes never leaving the screen. His fingers scrambled for the volume button to let him hear those little snores.
"It's okay little one, Leo is safe, you're safe. You're the best dada, so protective and loving, always thinking about our little bean and little lion. But you need to think of you too baby, you needed the sleep", Daniel rocked them gently, one hand coming up to dry Lando's tears, "Let us take care of you, our precious little omega. Our little one. You don't always have to be the strong one, let us take care of you"

The Lion’s Den
I am in a lion’s den The lion starves and lurks He prowls around Drool dripping from his mouth He longs to destroy me My end would be his joy His eyes are dark and hungry His razor teeth want to feel The warmth of my blood, my death
There is a hot blinding Babylon outside Teeming with people Eyes green with ambition Scrolling images Currency of tiny waists, Glowing skin, Hot husband, perfect marriage. Say this to your kid Look at all I’ve accomplished After all: “I am and there is none besides me.”
I am trying to find the heart of Daniel, The man who lived for over 80 years A minority, an exile, In a country not his own Chosen to serve a foreign king, He never flinched when Questioned who his God is Every time his answer: He is The Most High. “He is, and there is none besides him.”
He stared into faces of violent kings. How do I say to the thing that wants To cut me down to a stump: God is and there is none besides him I remember that I know of a Lion Who is merciful, Whose eyes are brown and kind Who is both powerful and meek Whose great longing is to protect me To hide me in the hair of his mane He shuts the mouth of the one who prowls and drools He is the one who can deliver me from the den Unharmed, unscathed.
So I will say to the violent kings The corrupt rulers of my Babylon To the dark lion thirsty for my end: My God is, and there is none besides him.

Balancetale au story:
This au is a multiverse event, but at the same time, an original universe, it is a universe where all the characters from undertale to deltarune live, only they live in a simple world and more focused on the medieval era, the difference is that everyone lives in a universe completely surrounded by yellowish colors, but as if it were a filter instead of the color itself made of ruins and Greek houses
beyond ancient lakes and golden laughter whose essence is healing.
In it the story is of a young skeleton and his brother they lived together, but in the festival of exaltation to the Lion God of that land, sans, or rather Leviathan made a fight served badly to the God in the sense that he did not take care did not make an effort to make a body soft, but Daniel (papyrus) with all his effort and dedication gave his best and dedication, when the lion came to appreciate the offer he gave a warning and a correction in Liviathan saying that his offer was audacity and a disrespect to his Lord, already Daniel (papyrus) was graced and blessed by the Lion so Leviata while he was alone with his brother killed him,he took the life of his brother Daniel (papyrus) for being jealous of having been so favored by the Lion of Life (I call him ass im because just talking lion is strange for a being of great power), so as punishment the lion cursed him leaving him blind he seeing the mistake so serious that he made he deeply regretted his mistake, and cried out to the lion his forgiveness beyond to say that if he remained blind it would be easy for someone to take his life, so the lion said :" I will not let anyone lay a hand on you to harm you, I will place a curse on you where anyone who tries to hurt you will suffer the pain in its place" added the lion: "as you killed your brother, you will assume his place in my mission to protect our universes, you will be the guardian of the worlds and you will look for other warriors to help you in this mission" and so he did :3 (a multiverse of mine that is below the other multiverses), he was responsible for choosing 4 more gentlemen to help him guard each universe of mine

Don’t feel sorry for or fear for your kids because the world they are going to grow up in is not what it used to be.
God created them and called them for the exact moment in time that they’re in. Their life wasn’t a coincidence or an accident.
Raise them up to know the power they walk in as children of God.
Train them up in the authority of His Word.
Teach them to walk in faith knowing that God is in control.
Empower them to know they can change the world.
Don’t teach them to be fearful and disheartened by the state of the world but hopeful that they can do something about it.
Every person in all of history has been placed in the time that they were in because of God’s sovereign plan.
He knew Daniel could handle the lions den.
He knew David could handle Goliath.
He knew Esther could handle Haman.
He knew Peter could handle persecution.
He knows that your child can handle whatever challenge they face in their life. He created them specifically for it!
Don’t be scared for your children, but be honored that God chose YOU to parent the generation that is facing the biggest challenges of our lifetime.
Rise up to the challenge.
Raise Daniels, Davids, Esthers and Peters!
God isn’t scratching His head wondering what He’s going to do with this mess of a world.
He has an army He’s raising up to drive back the darkness and make Him known all over the earth.
Don’t let your fear steal the greatness God placed in them. I know it’s hard to imagine them as anything besides our sweet little babies, and we just want to protect them from anything that could ever be hard on them, but they were born for such a time as this.

Standing Alone in Faith: A Journey Through the Lives of Biblical Figures
Throughout history, many individuals have faced trials that tested their beliefs and character. Five remarkable figures from the Bible—Noah, Abram, David, Daniel, and Peter—exemplify the power of standing firm in faith. Their journeys illustrate how believing strongly in one’s values can lead to personal growth and significant change, not only for themselves but for those around them. As we examine their lives, we discover inspiration that encourages us to embrace our faith, even when standing alone.
Noah’s story begins with a time when the world was filled with wickedness. God chose Noah to build an enormous ark, warning him about a coming flood. Can you imagine being the only person in the world to believe in something so far-fetched? Everyone mocked Noah for his faith and the massive boat he was constructing. However, Noah persisted, trusting God's promise. When the flood caused devastation, Noah’s unwavering dedication was his salvation. This story teaches us that faith can sometimes feel lonely, but standing firm can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
Next, we look at Abram, who later became Abraham. God called him to leave his home country and travel to a destination he had never been. Abram displayed immense faith by leaving everything familiar behind, not knowing what awaited him. He trusted God’s promise that he would become the father of a great nation. Abram's willingness to step out of his comfort zone illustrates how faith can spark change in one’s life. His story encourages us to embrace uncertainty and trust in a higher purpose.
David, known for defeating Goliath, faced many challenges on his path to becoming king. Despite his great accomplishments, he endured betrayal, fear, and isolation. He often found himself seeking God’s guidance while in hiding. David’s intimate relationship with God, shown through his psalms, reveals how personal faith sustains us in our darkest moments. His life reminds us that even in loneliness, we can turn to our faith for comfort and strength.
Daniel’s journey took him to Babylon, where he was taken captive. Faced with pressure to abandon his beliefs and conform to the culture around him, Daniel chose to remain faithful to God. His resolve led him to incredible experiences, including surviving a den of lions and receiving visions from God. Daniel teaches us that standing up for our beliefs, even in a hostile environment, can lead to divine protection and blessings.
Lastly, Peter, one of Jesus’ closest disciples, had his struggles. After denying Jesus three times, he faced great shame. Yet, after Jesus’ resurrection, Peter was forgiven and went on to lead the early church with unwavering faith. His journey reveals that we can overcome our mistakes and shortcomings; through faith, we grow and transform into stronger individuals.
In conclusion, the journeys of Noah, Abram, David, Daniel, and Peter remind us of the profound impact that standing alone in faith can have on our lives. Their stories reveal that while faith can be a lonely path at times, it often leads to remarkable growth, change, and blessings. As we reflect on their journeys, I challenge you to consider your own faith. Are you willing to stand firm in your beliefs, even when it feels difficult or lonely? Take a step today to deepen your faith and trust in the journey that lies ahead.

Daniel
Story Summary:
Daniel’s adversaries plotted against him by convincing King Darius to issue a decree forbidding prayer to anyone except the king. But Daniel continued to pray openly to God, despite the decree. Because of his faithfulness, God protected Daniel from harm in the lions’ den, showing His power and vindication.
Scriptural Reference:
Daniel 6:22-23 - "My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight."
Lesson:
Daniel’s faith and dedication to God are a powerful example of unwavering trust, even in the face of danger. His story reminds us that God honors those who are faithful to Him. Psalm 37:5-6 says, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun."

Paranormal Activity
Teens Xcite 2015.10.17
Tales of Halloween - Paranormal Activity
Why are humans so fascinated about the spiritual realm? Probably because we have a desire to know and understand about the spiritual realm.
Paranormal activity is an activity that defies the normal and scientific understanding.
There are evil spirits and they exists. There is a spiritual battle that is going on now, and all of us are under the attack no matter what.
As Christians, do you know that the spiritual realm exists? Do you take it seriously?
Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
How we can win over then power of darkness in the spiritual realm?
1) The spiritual realm is real, we need to be alert.
Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
There is a realm that we are unable to see it. In order to win this spiritual darkness, you have to first believe that there is a spiritual realm.
Even though we cannot see with out physical eyes, it does exist. Just like how we are unable to see air.
Daniel 10:12-14 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
The angel told Daniel that there was a demonic force that resisted him.
This example that Daniel had, it shows that there is a battle that is going on. Hence when we pray, there isna warfare that is happening. The demons are trying to stop the message that is from God, to reach us.
1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
He is looking for a weak and vunerable moment to come and attack us. The best defence is a strong offence. Learning about the spiritual realm is already half the battle being won.
2) The spiritual realm is a battlefield, you need to be armed.
As christians, we are constantly in battle, every single moment. The devil tries very hard to pull us away from God.
The evil one tries to discourage us from listening to the word of God, because the word of God is power and it brings us life. The evil one also tries to stop us from being in a community of christ, because as a family of christ we are protected.
Ephesians 6:10-13 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Revelations 12:7-9 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
This is a war in heaven. This was a war between the angels of God and the angels of Lucifer. Lucifer, was an angel that was in charge of worship, but due to his pride, he rebelled against God. Lucifer's main goal is to decieve mankind so that we will be worshiping him and be thrown into the fire with him.
John 10:10a The thief comes only to steal, to kill and to destroy.
People who are in bondage and in addiction, they are being attacked by Satan.
Every 40 seconds, someone in the world is committing suicides.
A key weapon of attack that the devil uses, are lies. He is constantly lying to us. He could be telling some of us that the things that we did wrong are alright, that we can live our own lives.
Real freedom is the ability to say no to sin because sin will put you into bondage.
Reading of zodiac or horoscope signs, are a part of an occult practices.
However the good news is that God did not leave you helpless and defenseless.
Ephesians 6:13-18 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Prayer has power, and we need to learn to put on the armour of God so that we can overcome the spiritual darkness. The other good news is in John 10:10.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
3) The spiritual realm is Christ's dominion, be authoritative.
Ephesians 6:14-15 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
Jesus has the ultimate control and rulership in the spiritual realm.
Colossians 1:15-16 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
This says that everything was created through Him and for Him. Therefore the entire spiritual realm belongs to Jesus Christ, not under the control of Satan.
Jesus has all the power on earth and the spiritual realm.
Luke 10:18-20 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
We are called to be co-heirs with Christ.
This spiritual battle has God's side and the Devil's side.
The ultimate defeat of Satan has already happened and the battle has already been won.
Whose side are you on? Are you on God's side or on the side of the evil one?

LIGHT OF LIFE 543
John 1:4
DIVINE ORDER 108: WORKING ORDER 3
Joh 9:4 WHILE IT IS DAYTIME, WE MUST CONTINUE DOING THE WORK OF THE ONE WHO SENT ME. THE NIGHT IS COMING, AND NO ONE CAN WORK AT NIGHT. ERV
WORK SETTING 3
We are simply trying to see how God “engineered” the structure that establishes a “labour” responsibility for everyone, including the Spiritual entities and Biological.
We have inspected the Work Setting for the Trinity and for humans, but what about Angels?
Well, this is where you see clearly that God knew Man was going to fall and would need this help.
Psa 91:11 GOD WILL PUT HIS ANGELS IN CHARGE OF YOU TO PROTECT YOU wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones. GNB
Angels are “commanded” (charged) to take care of humans with all-round protection. The appeal for such is evident, seeing how satan hates men, especially Christians.
1Pe 5:8 Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour. TPT
Indeed, the search for a “prey” to devour is never ending, but very desperate and furious.
Job 1:7 The LORD asked Satan, "Where have you come from?" In response, Satan answered the LORD, "FROM WANDERING ALL OVER THE EARTH AND WALKING BACK AND FORTH THROUGHOUT IT." ISV
For you to know how deeply we are resented and how badly satan wants us destroyed, you can hear satan clearly disappointed whenever he is unable to get any child of God.
Job 1:9-10 Satan answered the LORD, "Haven't you given Job a reason to fear God? HAVEN'T YOU PUT A PROTECTIVE FENCE AROUND HIM, HIS HOME, AND EVERYTHING HE HAS? You have blessed everything he does. His cattle have spread out over the land. GW
Any loophole and anyone could be put out, with dangerous accidents planned to happen everywhere.
Do you watch short videos of miraculous escapes from deadly accidents?
Ecc 10:8-9 One who digs a pit may fall into it, and one who breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. One who quarries stones may be injured by them; one who splits logs may be endangered by them. NET
The spirit world isn’t [plainly] visible to the Natural, so we can’t even see what’s against us.
Psa 91:5-6 You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil launched against you. TPT
Also, [mere] humans are made weaker in strength and capacities than spirits/angels.
Psa 8:5 FOR THOU HAST MADE HIM A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. KJV
The major functions of angels, however, are the protection and support of the saints.
Heb 1:13-14 But to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? ARE THEY NOT ALL MINISTERING SPIRITS, SENT OUT TO SERVE THOSE WHO WILL INHERIT SALVATION? NET
From birth, angels are assigned to each and everyone of us.
Children, being weak, are assigned with fiercer angels, who obviously pay more attention to them than usual.
Mat 18:10 “Be careful that you not corrupt one of these little ones. For I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT IN HEAVEN EACH OF THEIR ANGELIC GUARDIANS HAVE INSTANT ACCESS TO MY HEAVENLY FATHER.” TPT
Angels connect us with God, delivering messages to us and guiding us with explanations.
Dan 9:21-23 when Gabriel suddenly came flying in at the time of the evening sacrifice. This was the same Gabriel I had seen in my vision, and he explained: Daniel, I AM HERE TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE VISION. God thinks highly of you, and at the very moment you started praying, I WAS SENT TO GIVE YOU THE ANSWER. CEV
They are also set to issue out judgment to defaulting humans, besides other functions.
Exo 23:20-21 "I will send an angel ahead of you to protect you as you travel and to bring you to the place which I have prepared. Pay attention to him and obey him. Do not rebel against him, for I have sent him, and he will not pardon such rebellion. GNB
I pray for you and me, we all shall enjoy the full benefit of the Ministration of Angels, and will always be in God’s good book, IN JESUS NAME.
See you on Friday, as we proceed with this interesting Subtopic.

Making Their Debut
Spain 2025, and at long last, the new prince and princess of the paddock are allowed to attend races. Max and Juliette are, of course, very protective over their cubs, so kept them away from the Monaco Grand Prix. But, Spain is a bit more relaxed, and the paddock is a bit more calm. So, it's time for their debut! Emilian and Estelle are going to see their papa in action!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spain is a place very dear to both Max and Juliette Verstappen. The place he won his first race. The place they fell in love. Their honeymoon destination in 2023. And now, the first race they'll be bringing their baby twins to. The first of hopefully many this season. Both are so excited for the twins' first race. They'll not understand much at this point, but that's okay for now. They finally land in Barcelona, and grab their stuff. Max kisses his wife on the temple, and picks up Estelle's carseat. Juliette does the same for Emilian. They get ushered through security, Anthony - their security guard - right behind them at all times. ''Who are you most looking forward to seeing this week, Julia?'' Max asks her after they're in the car.
Juliette gets herself buckled in, and ensures the twins are locked in as well. ''Mick, Checo, and Fernando.'' She leaves her brother off the list, they see Charles every day. ''Oh! And, Carlos.''
Max chuckles, entertaining their little boy. Emilian's blue eyes focused on his lion plushie. ''Same, and Daniel, Andretti seem to actually know what they're doing.''
Juliette fusses over little Estelle. ''Yeah, and he and Logan are such a fun team, too.'' Last year's market was insane, with Andretti and Porsche coming in, and all the driver transfers. Max says to her, as they get settled in the motorhome. ''I have no idea how I'm gonna get anything done this weekend, with these two hanging out here.'' Juliette feeds the twins quickly, and says. ''I'm sure you'll be fine, mon vainqueur.'' They've both struggled with that, these two little ones are just too addictive.
After a nap and some lunch, they decide to take the twins down to the paddock. It's wednesday, so they've got a few days until the race. The Porsche team are eating lunch. Mick's face lights up when he spots them. ''Hi, guys!'' He runs over to see them, hugging Max, and kissing Juliette's cheek. ''Hi, Mick. How's it all going?'' Max asks.
Mick says. ''Good, P9 in the standings now. God, these two are getting big.'' He looks at both of the twins. Juliette smiles, holding Estelle on her hip. ''Yeah, nearly seven months old already! Time flies.''
They continue their little tour, Max pointing out to Emilian. ''That's the Ferrari garage, where uncle Charles works, they're good, but Red Bull are better.'' Emilian gets a judgy look on his tiny face, like father like son.
Juliette laughs, and points out the Aston Martin garages. ''Uncle Carlos and Grandpa Nando work there, that's a lot of green, huh, Estelle?'' Estelle giggles. They finally reach the Red Bull garage, and show the cubs where their papa works. Both RB21 cars sitting under cover. ''These are papa and uncle Checo's cars.'' Juliette explains to them both.
They take the cubs to the starting grid, increased in size for the now 24 cars in the sport, Max leads the to pole position, Emilian held on his hip. ''This, guys, is where papa starts from.'' Juliette laughs, some things never change. ''You sure about that, Max?'' Charles asks, joining them on track. Juliette says, mediating as always. ''And, uncle Charles will be p2, don't worry.''
Charles hugs his brother-in-law, kisses his sister's cheeks, and gives his niece and nephew some kisses as well. ''I'll take that.''
Charles says, letting Estelle play with his sunglasses. ''Looking forward to the weekend? Having the cubs with you?'' Max nods, and leads them back to the shaded pitlane. ''Yeah, It's been hard not being able to have the family all together.''
After their tour, the Verstappen family head back to the motorhome, and get the twins changed and down for a nap. Media day tomorrow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The family head down to the paddock for media day after breakfast. They've rented a stroller from hospitality for the weekend. Max proudly pushes the stroller where the twins are happily playing with their beloved lion plushies. The toys go everywhere with them, and were gifts from Alex and Lily. They're early, so they've dodged the noisiest period of the day. They pass the McLaren and Mercedes garages. Kimi Antonelli is talking to some press already, Juliette feels this odd maternal thing swell up within herself. ''Look at him, darling, he's a child.'' She feels transported back ten years, Max looked that small back then as well.
Max sighs, and says. ''Yeah, love, same age now as I was this time in 2016.''
Julia says, shifting her bag on her shoulder. ''It's not right, Ollie is nineteen, even that's a bit young.''
Max smiles at his wife, and asks her. ''Mama-bear stuff?'' Juliette sniffs, seven months have passed quickly, but she's still emotional. ''Maybe? I don't know.''
They finally find the Red Bull motorhome, where they're both approached by a journalist. ''Good day, Mr and Mrs Verstappen, first race with the twins, excited?''
Max nods, hands still on the stroller, a beaming smile on his face. ''Yeah, lovely to finally get to have the cubs with me, and my wife back in my garage. It's been rather lonely.'' Juliette adds, turning her wedding rings on her finger. ''Good to be back, amazing race for it as well. Emilian and Estelle seem to love it here, anyway. I think it's all very interesting for them, all the sights and sounds.''
Max goes for some interviews and press conferences. Juliette sets up a makeshift tummy time area for the cubs in his motorhome with some blankets and toys. Juliette never knew how much she could love, until Max and the twins happened to her. She watches his press conference with Charles, Mick, Carlos, and Liam while the twins play with their toys. ''Max, your wife and twins are here this week, do you think they'll give you an extra boost for the race?''
Max, a beaming smile on his beautiful face, says. ''Yeah, Julia has always been my inspiration, and the cubs are my motivation now too. Feels great to have them here especially, where Julia and I fell in love first, where this all began.''
The interviewer asks. ''How different does the grid gang feel now that two of you are parents?''
Carlos says. ''A bit odd, not having as much time with Max and Juliette as we used to, but families change, families grow. They are such amazing parents as well.''
After press, Max returns to his wife sitting on the sofa in his motorhome, sketching in her newest sketchbook. The twins fast asleep in the new cot he installed during Imola. He leans over to kiss her on the lips. ''How are you three?'' He sits himself down with her. Juliette says. ''We're doing good; we played a bit, watched the presser, had some lunch, and now the twins are asleep.''
Max says, that being all too tempting, shutting himself away with his little family until qualy. ''Maybe I can skip practice tomorrow.'' Juliette says, knowing him too well. ''You'd never.''
Max jokes with his wife, the one who knows him best. ''You're right.''
With press over, they decide to just stay in Max's motorhome for a while, relaxing as a family. Checo and his family stopping in on them for a bit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Juliette and the twins stay behind on friday, practice is never that interesting in Spain anyway, and it's too noisy for the twins. But, they do sit in the motorhome during qualification on saturday, watching on the TV. Juliette thought the garage would be too loud and busy for the twins. Estelle is playing with her Miffy rabbit, a gift from her aunt Victoria. Juliette cringes to herself as Yuki goes out in Q1, Logan and Felipe suffering the same fate. Emilian is in her lap, focused on his toy fox. ''Okay, little ones, onto Q2 we go. Emil, can you say; 'Go, papa!'?'' Emilian babbles, clearly intending some encouragement for his father. ''Good job, mon dauphin. Stella, can you say, 'Go, papa!'?'' Estelle also babbles. ''Very nice, ma dauphine.''
There's a pair of shock exits in Q2 - Lewis and Fernando. ''Ooh, grandpa Nando is not gonna like that, is he, Stella?'' Estelle giggles. Max sets a beautiful flying lap to maintain his lead in qualifying. Emilian claps his tiny hands for his papa, Estelle mirroring her brother. ''Yeah, that's your papa, my loves.''
Max takes pole, Charles p2, Oscar p3, and Mick will line up in p4. Four different teams in the top four positions. Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche. ''Was that fun, my loves? Did you like seeing papa go fast?'' The twins laugh.
After some press, Julia takes the twins to see their father and the rest in hospitality. Estelle makes grabby hands for her papa, and Max happily takes her with a kiss. ''Did my Stella miss me?''
Juliette kisses her husband. ''I think they both did, mon tresor. Good job on the pole, by the way.''
Max says. ''Thank you, liefje.''
Oscar jokes, tickling Emilian's foot. ''We'll make a Papaya out of one of you, won't we, Emil?''
Alexandra remarks. ''Good luck with that, Charles and I can barely get them to play with those horse plushies we got them. They're Red Bull babies, and that's okay.''
Max says, letting Estelle hold his finger. ''Maybe when you guys all start having kids.'' Juliette nods, kissing her son's little cheek, she adds. ''I'm sure little Jules will be a Tifosi, Charlie.''
Charles nods, and finishes his water. ''Of course he will, once he's actually here, that is.'' Max and Julia share a glance, there's going to be a baby boom now. they're sure of it. Babies tend to beget more babies, after all. ''Who do you think will be first?'' George asks.
Max says. ''Probably either Charles and Alexa, or Alex and Lily.'' Juliette adds, she figured out she was having one of each right away. ''A son for the Leclercs, and a daughter for the Albons.''
Carlos blinks a few times. ''God, you two share a brain.'' Max gives his first teammate a cheeky grin. ''Yeah, isn't it great?''
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Max kisses his family before heading off for the race with Rupert. There'll be no appearance in the garage today either. Juliette finishes feeding the twins, they're on some soft solids now, huge progress already. They particularly love mashed bananas. Max has wondered about ice cream, but no dairy until August at the absolute earliest according to their doctor back home. Alexandra and Rebecca stop by, dressed in red and green respectively. ''Is Lily in Alex's garage?'' Juliette asks.
Rebecca nods, dumping her bag on the counter, and joining her friend. ''Yeah, she'll be over after the race.''
Alexandra kisses her sister's cheek. ''How are you, ma soeur?'' Juliette smiles, truth be told, she's never felt more at peace in herself. ''Good, it's nice being back here, with my little family around me.''
Alexandra snuggles Emilian, while Juliette has Estelle on her lap. The race begins, Max gets a really good start, holding both Charles and Oscar off to maintain his lead for the opening ten laps. There's a slight scuffle with Carlos out of the pits, but Max holds on. ''I shall refrain from speaking, for my niece and nephew.'' Rebecca says.
Juliette laughs, letting little Estelle fiddle with her fingers. ''Okay, Becs, Carlos will still get on the podium at least. I think McLaren have totally bottled Oscar's chances.''
Alexandra kisses Emilian's head, where his dark brown hair is beginning to come through. ''What else is new?''
Max, Carlos, and Charles hold fast for the podium spots. Ollie zips past Lando, Pierre, and Mick for fifth. The girls are all awestruck by that performance. ''In a Haas?'' Rebecca says.
Juliette goes to put the cubs down for a nap on lap thirty. She grabs some juice from the fridge, and eats some of Alexandra's pasta. She and Max are on a new diet, five small meals a day rather than three big ones. ''God, if Ollie doesn't get Driver of The Day, I'm protesting.'' Alexandra says.
Juliette eats, and says. ''Me too, I've not seen overtaking like that since Max was a rookie.'' George gets up into fourth after a battle with Ollie on lap forty-five.
On lap sixty-six, Max flies home for a massive win, Carlos in second, and Charles in third. The twins are up for the podium ceremony. Max makes his little speech. ''First race with my twins here, they're with Julia in our motorhome, This win is for them, my wife and our twins - Emilian and Estelle. I love you three so much, and I hope you always know that.''
Juliette dries her eyes. ''We do, Max, we do know that. We love you too.'' They present the trophies, and Max is weeping throughout the anthems.
After media, Max gets back from the garage, looking exhausted. He kisses his wife and twins, placing the trophy on the counter, and goes for a shower. He comes back in a simple white tshirt, black sweats, and socks. He scoops Emilian up, and sits on the sofa. ''Well done, my love. I am so proud of you, from the early days until now, you blow me away.'' Juliette says.
Max kisses her lips. ''I wouldn't be where I am without you, I just hope I can keep this up long enough for these two to enjoy seeing me.'' Juliette assures her husband, as the one person who has never doubted him. ''You will, you're Max Verstappen, of course you will.''
After feeding the twins, and getting them down for the night, they make dinner, and relax with some movies. One long weekend finally over.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once home in Monaco, Max takes a couple of days to be on dad-duty while Juliette goes to work. She's back part time now, and will be back full time after the twins are a year old. Max is going to miss his family dearly during Canada week, but, they've got a week and a half until he leaves for Montreal. Juliette gets in one day, the cats playing on the cat tree, Luna playing with her toy duck. The twins are in their high chairs, watching Max get stuff ready for dinner. ''I'm home!'' She announces to the house.
Max pulls her close, and kisses her. ''Glad you're home, schatje.'' Julia kisses him back. ''Had a good day, one of the Grimaldi girls wants us to dress her wedding, so that took most of the day.''
Max chuckles. ''Sounds intense. I showed the twins how my sim rig works. Took them for a spin around Zandvoort and Spa. We went shopping, and took some time near the harbour.''
Juliette remarks. ''Wish I could've gotten out of work today.'' She turns to the twins, and kisses them both. ''Did papa show you his sim? Was it fun?'' They both laugh, Julia kisses them again, and grabs herself some tea. ''What's for dinner, amour?''
Max responds. ''Lasagne, all gluten free, so don't worry. Took two stores to find the gluten free sheets, but we found them.'' Juliette kisses her husband's cheek. ''Sounds awesome.'' She leaves him to cook, he got really good at cooking while she was pregnant. So, she goes through to the living room to read and relax. It's been a rollercoaster to get here. To their marriage and family life, through the most demanding sport probably ever, heartache, and similar traumas. But, they're here now, they made it here together. And, that's all that will ever matter to Juliette Verstappen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just something cute, haven't went a totally cute and fun route with a fic in ages, so... here it is! I know Monaco comes before Spain next year, but I'd imagine Julia and Max would want to keep the twins' paddock debut lowkey and quieter than the most elite race on the calendar. So, Julia and the twins would have stayed home that weekend.
Also, I'm thinking of making the cubs patchwork twins. Emilian inheriting his dad's blue eyes with his mum's dark hair. Estelle inheriting her mum's hazel eyes with her dad's blonde hair. Casper will be all Max, and Annika will be all Juliette.
Anyway, enjoy!

The Holy Spirit, also called "the Companion", is who was over the waters before there was form, and is who The Father was talking to during the Creation Story
The Son, is not mentioned in the Creation story but since someone divine had no problems walking on Regular Earth I think this was who spoke to Adam
Antagonism
The concept of evil and decay: a by-product of existence that could only be reduced through personal responsibility, which requires sapience; like asking a Person to stop casting a shadow VS asking a Boulder
It is not outside the Central figure
The Devil, which speaks and acts in opposition to the narrative of The Creator but he also works for them
Major Prophets
Moses, the law-giver
Elijah, the clap-backer
Jonah, because of the subnautical adventure
Daniel, not because of the lions but beceuse he told Nebuchadnezzar to stop appropriating Jewish Culture (there was a PowerPoint Presentation)
Minor Prophets
The rest of them. There's a lot of dudes in there & most of them don't even have specials or finishers
Historical Period
The home team lost too many matches & now all the coaches are Akkadian
Babylonian
Persian
The Persian managers are trying to set up a trade with the Hellenic league and
Sorry, that league has been taken over by the Romans. They are insistent on their standard and are not interested in "trading"
New Testament
The guy from the Creation Story, the "people person"? He's back
No, but like, Again
Historical Period
The cult I was in taught us that Europe had no wars because all of its kings were Christian and European
This does not align with History, Kings, Christianity, or Europeans
Awebo miss, ¿y todo esto que? 🌎🌍🌏
Age of Atom
Atom, esoteric yet accessible. Existential threat
Creation, has become creator. Is too immature to take care of itself
Ours is a new world made out of the old. And every new world comes with monsters
The presence of monsters creates the requirement for the presence of heroes
Antagonist is the monsters, who I was told were victims too
So maybe it makes sense that the same God who would give the Prophet Elijah powers of Flexibility, Invisibility, Earthquakes, and Flying Fire
Could have, in our scary times, split those powers up between four people who ventured close to heaven, so that while they might not be prophets they can still protect their city
They might not be holy, but they're still Fantastic
I might be why the church I grew up in suppressed superhero media
"Re-enlightenment"
Per the cult: "Global Warfare and Telecomms Tech prove we are the 'Last Generation' and have been for 40 years!"
This is why Sheila, who tried to sell my mom Avon in the parking lot, needs to Review your Birthday and Study your Chakras
Sunday School teacher that's said "resist your nature" to kids when who were acting up, but never to the kids with light hair
"Oh and don't consume pop culture or hang out with people who do! 🤭"
This is also where my love for whimsigoth aesthetic started. Maybe because it was the 90s, maybe because one of the kids was nice to me.
She wore Candid cologne, listened to Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Enya; She taught me the revolutionary history of France through her comic book collection, and how to waltz to "There is a light that never goes out"

THE EYE OF THE STORM!
THE EYE OF THE STORM
Daniel 6:20-23
Storms, whether they manifest as atmospheric disturbances marked by thunder, lightning, snow, hail, or heavy rain, or as metaphorical tempests in our financial, material, emotional, physical, or spiritual lives, are neither tranquil nor silent. They can arise suddenly and unexpectedly.
The eye of the storm symbolizes God’s presence and tranquillity amidst life’s chaos and tribulations. Storms, while violent, also serve as reminders for believers to anchor themselves in God, as suggested in Job 11:18. In the face of life’s tempests, the only secure refuge is in the Lord.
Daniel’s story illustrates this. Despite the threat of being cast into the lions’ den, his faith remained unshaken. He understood that our faith should not be compromised by the fear of storms. Instead, we should stand firm in God’s word, trusting in His unfailing love to fortify and protect us in the storm’s eye, as Psalm 28:7 suggests, and to rescue us when we call upon Him, as Psalm 50:15 assures.
Life may present situations that blow with such force that they shake the very foundations of our faith, causing us to stumble. However, holding onto God’s word in hope can sustain us. When we find ourselves in the storm’s eye, uncertain and fearful of the outcome, we must trust in His promise to send helper Angels, as stated in Psalm 34:7. Daniel’s experience, where he declared that God sent Angels to shut the lions’ mouth, serves as a testament to this.
Even when the storm seems ready to engulf us, the Lord will intervene in time to save and deliver us, as He promises throughout the Bible, whispering, “Fear not, I am with you in the storms, winds, and waves.”
There are those who willingly plunge into the storm’s eye, storm chasers. They can attest that the storm’s eye, or centre, is the heart of a challenging, stressful, or hectic situation or season. This “eye” is encircled by the most potent winds that can knock us down.
As God-chasers, we must heed the instructions of Psalm 107:28-31 and cry out to God, for only He can calm the storm. Whatever storm you’re currently weathering will persist for a while. Cling to God, don’t stay in the storm’s eye, and don’t let self-pity, doubt, and fear keep you trapped within the storm. Keep moving until the storm is behind you.
When storms strike, it may seem like sinking is inevitable and hope is lost. You’ve likely weathered your share of life’s storms. If you’re in one now, remember that Christ is with you, as stated in Mark 4:38-39. The storm is never beyond God’s control, and it won’t last forever.
Let God’s word be your wings, as suggested by Psalm 55:6-8, and let those wings carry you into God’s safe haven, allowing the storm to deepen your faith in God.
Daniel emerged unscathed from the lion’s den, from the storm’s eye, because he trusted in God and found safety in Him. God will silence the roaring lion’s mouth or the storms in your life if you believe and have faith in His power of deliverance.
Don’t get comfortable in the storm’s eye!
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for being my anchor through every storm. Help my heart cling fiercely to your truth always and deepen my faith in you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Shalom
