HII so i was wondering on how to make a goatsus oc 🙏 wanna make sure im doin’ it right (with credits to u ofc)

Ughh I've yet to make an updated guide on how to make Goatasi since there's a lot and I don't have the motivation to make one 💔

But basically

Whatever season they're born in will be their colours

Winter - Cold/cool colours Autumn - Warm/cool colours Spring - Light pastel colours (Can be any) Summer - Bright flashy colours (Can be any)

Their brooch can only be a symbol or somethin' organic, can't just be somethin' completely random Sometimes brooches come with accessories (Pastel's ribbons, Razzy's leaves, Snowdrop's vines etc.) and when a goatasi has that they have healing abilities The accessory that they have won't show on their markings tho (Like how Pastel has ribbons but only the heart is on her body) markings can be anywhere and you can add as many as you want AS LONG as they always have them on their cheeks and outer thighs

Goatasi can have to abilities, they don't always have to be flashy!

Pastel - Light & heat Snowdrop - Snow & hollow grams Peaflow - The ability to change the weight of things & wind AK - Electricity & Speed

Mel gatekeeps so many stuff so many dumb stuff related to her species, the brooches being the main one in my opinion, maybe not now but before istg if you had anything similar to a brooch in your species Mel and her fans would get so mad at you, even if you gave it a different function

Your persona is literally just Mel in a different font, ofc you would wanna defend her since you want to seem like what she doing isn't wrong

My sona is Mel in a different font? Really??? Are you suuree?? Let's see, my sonas first design made in 2022, early 2023:

This was a gift for my bf, also the first ever drawing of his sona.

My sona usually bright colors and a scene, neon goth, clowncore, type aesthetic. I made my sona wayy before even know who Mel was/is. So you saying that Spec is just Mel's sona in a different font is frankly just...not true.

I have more drawings/doodles as proof that I made Spec before knowing Mel, but those are all traditional art, of which all my previous sketchbooks are put away and I am not bout to pull them out to prove a point that's not relevant...

but, if I must:

this doodle was created roughly 2-3 days after the previous drawing you've seen; and should I also mention that Spec was originally a male? As at the time, I was TRANSMASC.

I doodled this silly fucker and fell in love, making constant doodles of them, then eventually go on to join Mel's server (not be very active) and create this next drawing (and many doodles afterwards). Officially debuting Spec, the bunny with big ass ears.

To which, yes, some people would begin making comparisons of my sona to Mel's, but I didn't care(and still fucking dont) because I know in my heart that Spec is my own original design! Do I see the similarities? Yes— but again, I do not care. It's pure coincidence and it's honestly just 2 people having same aesthetics. So awful, right? 💀

OMG I should also mention that: SPEC IS NOT MY ONLY SONA. I HAVE...6 OTHERS?? honestly only sona I'd say took A LOT of inspo off of Mel's is LIMESTONE. my goatasus oc/sona:

I have 4 sonas of mine have the same aesthetic, but imo only one (Limestone) took direct inspiration from Mel's..💀. The other 3 are simply just other versions of Spec herself!

As for the rest of this ask, I will ignore it for now. I've stood my place enough. You all know where I stand. I have no need to reply to this type of comment anymore.

About Goatasus, i can understand why they have the whole lock thing, since they cannot die from old age they would need to stop aging at some point

But this comes with another problem, WHY IS THIS RANDOM SPECIES BASICALLY IMMORTAL??? the goatasus don't seem to have a story to explain why the only way they can die is by their heart (and decapitation ig not sure), i don't think Mel understood that making this species overpowered, they would need to have a reason for this

Like, take Pastel for example... her natural abilities are light, heat, the ribbons, flight, cannot age, healing, the only way for her to die is either the heart and her pocket dimension tail (not counting 3)

That's too much stuff for someone who's not that important to the world

Maybe Mel could come up with some lore like... idk, goatasus are touched by the goddess Hope to be similar to angels but weaker, ANYTHING

That also falls under the whole "Shadow Colours Worldbuilding is inexistent"

NO BECAUSE THIS FEELS LIKE THE GODS IN-UNIVERSE DECIDED TO MAKE GOATASI ALMOST FUCKING GOD TIER, OR ALMOST AT THE SAME LEVEL AS ANGELS BUT FURRIES BASICALLY.

Why so many stuff with magic needs to be almost non-existent with no rules whatsoever, like what magic is considered illegal to use, and how do you LEARN when you SHOULD use it, like in dire situations? What if it's emotion based? How many power sources are there?

This is just as confusing as a certain cancelled webcomic but that's not what I'm here to talk about because Shadow's Colours has a lot more bad development history.
