Pris redesign/my take on her design. My favorite redesign so far, I love how detailed it ended up as! I was first scared of doing the semitransparent parts but I love this piece! You you like it as well <3

So this was one of my favorites to make despite actually loving the og design and not having any problems with it.

I just loved trying out different dresses moving between more princess or more practical. I went all in on mermaid theming and given her more of ocean witch vibe. I was inspired by mermaid and princess dresses but took a huge inspiration (even though it didn't make it into the final design) from Empires season 1 Lizzie! I was actually watching Pris when she just used to make theory videos about empires and there she occasionally spoke about her oc's backstory and about her oc's race being closely connected to Esmp1 Lizzie, so because of that I tried out a lot of variations with clothes inspired by Lizzie's but found them not fitting Water witch Pris's vibe.

I went through a ton of dresses because other than "pretty maxi dress" I didn't really have a clear goal in mind, I known I wanted mermaidy feel to it and I was very set on the sleeves being very flowy.

I couldn't really decide on her shoes being heel or not, from one point heels look amazing and her og design had them but on the other hand girl you ain't going swimming in heels but on the other other hand you ain't swimming in a dress either so yeah, I still ended up on a flat design just for practicality.

I cycled trough a bit of different very similar hair styles before finding the perfect wavy to straight ratio and front, I also went through some different ways to incorporate the bows but ended up with just adding them on like on the og design.

You know what I found out when looking for reference pictures for this dress? That I really need the word to move on from these basic boring simplistic maxi dresses that are just straight up boring like live a little pls add at least a fun pattern or something I don't want to see the same dress copy pasted unless you use a different font at least! Like girl respect yourself '-'

When I think of mermaid I think of pearls so I might have went overboard with pearls oops well that's gonna be fun to draw over and over again! ••

One of my favorite details is the bag, I tried drawing it to look like a seashell and was very proud afterwards!

I wanted to give her an abundance of jewelry so she got a lot of necklaces and bracelets!

I also might have made her into a fish... Took me a bit deciding what type °°

I gave her a weil and a semitransparent layer of skirts what was one of my first time drawing something like this in color so hope you guys love it as much as I do! I feel like the weil just really adds to her design and the skirt is only so we could her shoes. I'm not making very throughout decisions okay? I will forget what shoe I picked otherwise anyway. Now that I think about, oh my I should have gave her fish nets, nahh how did I not think of that earlier??? Okay next time I draw her I'm going to draw her with fish nets! This is a promise I probably going to forget to keep but I still can't believe I never thought about this before...

I tried making the dress resemble still her og dress with the corset element but ended up drawing her in a very different dress. I was debating if it's okay to have her design so different but ultimately decided that, there's only like a total of 5 ppl maybe if we being generous who actually could possibly care about the post and from that maybe 2 know what Witchcraft smp even is and from that there's only possible like 1 who actually cares even a bit about accuracy so yeah I'm sticking to some dress that I like and the vibe fits the most!

Drawing this made me think about the fact that I might be covering up characters more than I should. I like modesty but I also a big fan of sl-tty fashion cause you know style is style and that's more than what the straights have. What I figured out is that because I also hyper aware of sexualization of characters I more often than not, I cover them up and make them more modest, realistically I know it's not a bad thing, but it made me think because the creator was okay with og design showing off chest area but I covered it up still, why? Am I uncomfortable by drawing cleveg? Idk? I don't draw my main oc's like that but that's because they're underage and just wouldn't make sense to do so but that doesn't apply to these characters that are of age, and besides, I do draw characters with more skin showing just not regularly. Maybe it's the association with the creators? Or maybe it's simply that I always cover up? I have sensory issues and constantly need something covering me (I have specifically problem with the sun touching my skin) so maybe that's why. But yet again I love fashion where that isn't the case I just can't wear that so why do I still cover characters up that are of age, already have an approved by creators design with exposed skin and overall don't even have a sexual design? Well anyway I was just wondering because I needed constantly keep in mind to let myself draw a exposed shoulder cause damn it it looks good why am I against fun TT. I also did cover up chest for both Pris and El from og card designs so yeah...

Happy 10th Birthday to the Dangthatsalongname Channel!

This drawing took forever to finish but it’s done now. I loved going back into the past and re-watching old videos and watching some for the first time. Some of my favourite episodes has to be the Fairytale Fallout bloopers for both seasons and the first episode of Funcraft!

The fan art has all the Minecraft series that are currently on YouTube and some that were streamed on Twitch/YouTube + on other people’s channels (I hope I haven’t missed any others because counting and checking took a long time. So i was thinking of making some kind of timeline/connected universe thing for mcyt series like hermitcraft and such. There will be notes under the read more cut, and i'd HUGELY appreciate it if people had any more things to add + definitive years between universes (the actual one will look better lol)

Ok so for the notes!

So we know empires s1 and s2 are in the same world but with a lot of time inbetween. I believe sausage made an estimate but i dont remember completely. We do know without a doubt that witchcraft smp (wcsmp) takes place 10 years after the end of empire smp, due to e2!Shelby becoming wc!Shelby and her finale saying "10 years later".

Fame smp is connected to witchcraft. I dont know a lot since i dont watch it but i do know Bertha, who was in witchcraft, starts fame smp by going from the wc world to that one and even makes note of it being a different universe.

Afterlife smp is a different universe to esmp s2 but theyre both directly connected. Both through Sausage's lore and Oli. Oli starts esmp s2 by going from afterlife to it, and he keeps knowledge of afterlife. I dont know if new life is connected to afterlife tho? I assume it is but i cant actually say for sure.

Now to the top part. Hermitcraft s9 is of course connected to esmp s2 because of the collab. I didnt want to write out all the hermitcraft seasons but the time between would probably mimmick how much time has been between each season irl.

The third life series also is most likely connected to hermitcraft. Simular to it, the time inbetween each season would mimmick the irl times. It is tied to rat smp in another universe thanks to Martyn lore. And origins smp can be tied to rat smp because origins smp Sneeg and Philza both appeared in the series.

Life Series AU

Wrote some lore about the life series characters as Gods with Witchcraft SMP in mind. It got out of hand, and now I have a 1.4k story below.

        As everyone knows, from the oldest, crankiest elder to the youngest, brightest toddler, magic is a part of this world as surely as Winter melts into Spring.

We can see it in people, like the illusionist who passed by the town with the circus group. In the wild, we can see it flitting between the trees, lighting up the world. It is in the ground, seeping up when it is called.

But we haven’t always had magic. Once, the only ones to possess it were the Gods.

Seventeen of them, each with a different domain. They lived in harmony, watching over the world., creating and destroying as they saw fit. Anytime they wished to meet, they met around the Watching Crystal. None of them knew what it was, only that if any of them died, it would store their powers and souls. Of course, they had varying ways of interaction with mortals. For instance, the Sky God liked to reveal himself to humans in the hope that they would worship him. He was a fickle god, that one. Or the God of Fire, who played deadly games with life-changing prizes.

Among them was the Starborne. He had perhaps the strangest and least explainable gift. He was the first prophet. Though he often advocated for humans to get a taste of divine magic, he was usually overruled.

One day, he had a vision. The Scarlet Witch, the harbinger of death, was standing in a clearing, ichor dripping from her scythes.

Now, the Scarlet Witch was an enigma to most of the others, almost never turning up to the meetings the other sixteen called. She was a grim woman who often laughed at the suffering of those around her. She was hard to get alone with, so most of the other Gods shunned her, with only three exceptions. The God of Emotions, also known as the patron of bakers, was sympathetic to her. The Lady of Time was her partner in chaos. And the Starborne was her closest friend, her confidant. If anyone was going to be on her side, he would.

When the Starborne received this vision of things to come, he naturally became scared. His trusted ally, who had a reputation for being unhinged, was going to kill another God. So he did what he always did, and sketched out what he had seen to flesh out all the important details.

The Sky God had been in a silly, goofy mood, so he decided he was going to snoop around. His first target: a certain prophet. He walked into the room where all the visions were gathered. And lo and behold: in the center of the pictures of prophecies, was the recently sketched vision, the one that foretold the death of at least one God.

This scared the Sky God. He had never liked the Scarlet Witch. She was always a little too chaotic, a little too bloody for his liking. So, he decided to make sure this prophecy wouldn’t come true. He called a meeting with as many Gods as he could. Under the light of the Watching Crystal, he wove the tale of what was to come. Seeing as the Scarlet Witch had not been invited, and the Starborne had not made an appearance, she had no warning of the prophecy. After gathering five of his most trusted friends, he went after her.

It was a close fight. It is said that the famous scar over the Scarlet Witch’s eye was made during that battle. None of the Gods that fought were weak. But the Scarlet Witch was Death itself, ready to collect a divine life at long last. The Canary, the god of luck, was the first to fall. Two more of them were slain before the Sky God called for a retreat that ultimately failed. The Queen of Shadows was cut down, and her husband followed soon after. The final attacker, the God of Chaos, died of his injuries soon after.

After that, she disappeared for a few years. Alone in a forest in the North, she had a lot of time to think, to reflect. She knew that if a God died, their powers would be stored in the Watching Crystal. And the seventeen - well, eleven now - of them were far from orderly. If there were fewer of them, they could rule more effectively. Besides, they could probably find a way to access the powers of the Gods who were deemed unfit through the Crystal. So she watched and waited for someone to find her. Death is patient, after all.

The other Gods were scared. The Scarlet Witch was one of the most formidable among them, and would not listen to anything they had to say. So, they decided to try and flush her out of hiding by using her best friend. Some of them wanted the Starborne dead, because their friends and loved ones were gone. Others wanted to use him as a hostage. So they went to his board of visions, where all of his visions were recorded. He would be there, after all. The Lady of Time tried to stall the others, back them down. But the desperation and fear had caught up to them, and they forced past her.

They went into the room he used, covered with notes and pictures and scattered papers. On the table in the center, they saw a picture. It was a mid action shot of the Starborne exploding in a rush of light. It is said that he was smiling. There was neither hide nor hair of him anywhere. So, they moved back to the search for the threat. And, one or two expeditions were successful. But they did not consider that anyone they sent was liable to death themselves.

The God of Illusions powers of persuasion couldn’t save him when he needed them the most. The God of Emotions was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and couldn’t back down his former friend. Then came three more deaths. Then the Scarlet Witch emerged from hiding to cut down two more.

Finally, the Lady of Time had enough. There were only four Gods left. Knowing that the Starborne would not be helpful in a fight, even if they could find him and convince him to help kill his best friend, the Lady banded together with the Runemaster to end the threat at last.

The Runemaster used his powers of Listening to find the Scarlet Witch. They both tracked her down to the forest where she had spent so much time. The three of them fought. It was a hard, bitter battle. In the end, ichor dripping from her scythes, the Scarlet Witch claimed a hard-earned victory.

She celebrated her success. There would be no more chaos now that it was just her. There would be no more wars, no more extortion of the mortals by any Gods. The only divine force would be Death, which would take without remorse.

Then she remembered that she was not alone. There was still one more God. And she knew just where to find him.

Nobody knows what would have happened if the Starborne had backed down. Maybe they would have ruled side by side. Maybe he would have been killed for lack of loyalty.

But when the Scarlet Witch went to the Watching Crystal to meet with the only being that could compare to her. The inside of the Crystal pulsed with moving lights, like the souls trapped inside were still alive, waiting to be released.

The Scarlet Witch went in there, sure she’d win again. But she was not up against a soul that wished to remain in this world. The Starborne believed that neither of them deserved life. He had been a coward who ran away instead of helping his friends, and their blood still stained the Witch’s red cloak. So he smiled as he activated his secret power. When he wished to die, he would explode, taking everything in the nearby radius down with him.

The Watching Crystal shattered, then fell down, down, down. The pieces scattered all across the lands, seeping magic into the earth. The magic of the Gods started to exhibit itself in nearby mortals, the first magic users.

But Gods do not die that easily, some say. There are whispers that they could be reborn, into mortal bodies like ours. We may be walking among them right now.

Of course, those are just myths. Nobody is that optimistic or pessimistic to believe in such tales. The Gods are dead. We all go to Death, even the Reaper herself.

Nobody knows why we do not have prophets. Maybe the Starborne decided not to pass down his gift, knowing the burden it placed upon the holder. But to this day, the magic of Death, necromancy, has been shunned from all parts of society. And in honor of the catalyst of this whole mess, we call ourselves witches.

So, if you ever see magic, remember how it got here and who it came from. Because every good thing has a price. This one was paid in divine blood.

-"And they lived happily ever after." That's a poetic end to Cleo's story. Since she did introduce us to her character with "once/twice a upon a time" and had kind of a storybook structure from then on

TRAVIS AND VERIN!! (Idk how to respond to tumblr stuff

HAHHAHAHA wellllll .... uh, Taivas and Verin... ermmm.... Okay, this is gonna be short since I could barely rp as Verin in the server because of reasons that's really not personal i just dont know how to explain thr reason BUT ANYWAY brace yourself— or not

Okay, so lets start with Verin first. Verin is basically from the Pirates Era, aka 1600s to 1700s, and had been doing typical pirate stuff since he was a little boy. He was trained for it even, but a day came when his crewmates fucked up badly. Now, he's no Captain or a first-mate. He was just some crew, a cook, and a cleaner. Despite that, he did try to warn the others of another ship. A very big ship. He told them, no don't fuck with them, and his crew was like, yea we fuckin with them. So uh, yea shit went down.

Verin survived for some reason, and since his crew all died stranded on a very big island, he decided to run away and hide. He is a coward, fyi. Pirates can't be cowards, but he's built diff 💯 ANYWAY, he found a place. Decided to get in — woopsies, it was a WITCH'S HUT!!! He got mistaken as an intruder (he is, actually, he was just in denial) and the witch cursed him and sent him to the void. BUT! The witch made a mistake so instead of sending Verin to the void, he was sent into another universe.

Boom, PRIDE SMP PH HELL YEA

Anyway, Verin dropped to Taivas' airship and passed out. Taivas got curious (poked the unconscious guy. rude) and decided to keep him for a bit. Verin woke up confused, then began bothering Taivas with questions because almost everything from the PSMP did not exist in his world. Taivas, interested from where the other came from, had agreed on a deal to help him. So the deal was that Taivas will help Verin get back to his dimension in exchange of some stuff from that universe (which, well, idrk but Verin's world is so boring actually its just ours. i guess a toaster could be an exchange).

Buuuut Verin is really, uh, idk what you call it but he goes off sometimes, disappearing and coming back. Unlike him, Taivas gets lost so he helps him out as well. Anyway, with Verin being lost, he had uh, discovered something that was about to turn his life into shit: Engineering.

Taivas was an engineer and he had watched him create some stuff from a distance. He wasn't good at it, but he was trying to learn just by looking at his friend's work. So, he set out one day to gather some materials for the ship that he was planning to build. Unfortunately, unlike his universe, there were monsters that appears during the night. So, he got in a way with one; a skeleton with wither powers (its not a wither skeleton!!!).

It hit Verin in the chest and had to call out Taivas (no phones whatsoever, but its like a walkie-talkie but message stuff. Yes, Verin knows how to read and write). Taivas took a long time trying to save him. Verin noticed something weird about his own body, and asked if Taivas sees it. Spoiler alert, he didn't. Taivas didn't see shit so Verin shrugged it off as a hallucination. BOY WAS HE WRONG!!

Anyway, that strengthened the deal. Both of them had agreed to just go live together. Verin as a former cook of a pirate crew decided to be the cook for Taivas. It uh changed the deal— Verin now cooks for Taivas as Taivas helps Verin out in finding his dimension. ANYWAY, they live together, help each other out, yada yada.

And for the deal, Taivas became a witch to understand more of witchcraft as Verin did say that a witch had cursed him to be here. Like oh wow im not inlove w u n all but i would totally learn witchcraft for u my buddy!

Then, Taivas came back home with a uh subtle change. Warden stuff. He had an obsession with it and Verin did notice but he didn't say anything about it. So then, Verin also had some changes— not subtle. There were black sharp fragments growing out of his body (theyre extra bones, actually. wither bones). Taivas noticed it and called him emo (HE IS NOT EMO!!!). He didn't get it whatsoever so he js ignored it until days passed and both of their uh, changes evident.

Taivas was more sculk-like now, with blue-ish skin infecting his body and Verin was becoming more pale and dead, with the bones becoming bigger and obvious. It was sticking out on his body but blood did not come out.

So then, Taivas had begun infecting his surroundings with sculk. Verin disappeared more frequently. Taivas missed eating his favourite (cabbage rolls) without Verin being present so he tried to look for him and stuff and then... well more to come i guess... there's already a plan for the both of them we've made but thats for another time :)

Like, so in my timeline(for now), empires took place over about a year(17 months with the prequel I'm doing) so that'd make Shelby like uh, 33? In the witchcraft smp book?? It's a 4 year time skip instead of the canon 10 years

So, Owen 17, false and oli would be like, 16 when WC takes place, Emerald 5, nightlight(yes I changed the dragons name) 4, Thorn 4

Why am I ranting about that? I dont- I don't know- also im just now re a lying how many kids I'm planning on giving to shelby and i- it's like 6 and I am very tempted to give her Joey as the 7th because he was abandoned and Shekby just casually picks uo stray children she finds

She found the twins in the forest, Nightlight on Olis back, Owen she gave consciousness too, Emerald was found in the swamp and she was pregnant with Thorn-

Like the universe, me, looked at this elytrin/witch and went "lol, your gonna have parental powers. Go find you children whoa re stuck in a fucking tree and hiding in a bush lol good like with the 4 that follow soon after lol"

But they all have some type of trauma related to be abandoned, you understand me right!? And so does WC!Joey-- I have to finish watching his pov and wtahc the others(aside from shelbys) btw- motherfucker was thrown out of the only home he'd ever known-

Shelby just sensing that, evaluating it, realizing he's 16, and slapping adoption papers infornt of him like "You're my child now, sigh here please :)" is hilarious to me and I- well fuck now I wanna do it- should i??

Ok so this was just a really random thought but-

Y'know the Teen Beach movie from Disney?

That but with Witchcraft smp

Elouise watches this old, cheesy, stereotypical fantasy movie with Pris. One day, when jokingly mimicing the spells, one of the spells starts a storm and then all of a sudden they get transported in said movie.

El is overjoyed (since it's her favorite movie) and Pris is real worried because they just got transported into a movie. How the heck did that happen. Now they have to stay until the end of the movie because that's when the characters discover the transportation spell that they can use to go home. (Pris is not having a great time)

Anyways we got The Coven as The Bikers and The Faries as The Surfers. They are fighting to claim their local hangout (spawn)

Milo is part of the faries, Scott is part of the coven

The way they alter the plot is that Milo instead catches El and becomes friends with her while someone else (Joey maybe?) catches Scott and then they then realized that the story changed and they might not be able to go home unless they get it back on the right track.

The "villain + sidekick" of the story is just "Bertha" and Mertha (actually isnt bertha but the final boss that we see at the end in disguise) who wants to take over spawn and are the cause of the random things that go on later in the story.

[If you're asking how I got here, I was just listening to "Falling for ya" from the movie's playlist and this just popped into my mind and somehow expanded into whatever the heck I just typed]

Oh! Probably Transition #1. I thought I had moved on from that RPF fandom approximately 12 years ago, but here we are. I was watching old YouTube videos of Pia and Uwe and just...got sucked back in! Also it's in German, which is probably the language I'm least confident in. (It's not even the cases that bother me, it's my vocabulary not being extensive enough to be able to express myself properly!)

15. Something you learned this year.

So, it's not fic-related at all? But I started learning Japanese on Duolingo in mid-December 2023 as a way to have a tiny little distraction every day during a super chaotic time irl, and it's really fun? I don't have plans to ever visit Japan, don't really watch anime other than the times my wife's watching Dragon Ball and have no real connection to the country, but I think the language sounds and looks lovely. And I'm on a 9-day streak now, and I'm having so much fun! It really is way more fun to learn something out of free will as an adult.

Oh man, I read so many great fics this year. I'm going to select three, because I can't possibly pick just one.

First is Tomorrow Take Me Higher by hughinahoodie (pseud of MldrItsMe). It's E-rated, 179K words of absolute House M.D. brilliance. It's the addiction recovery House deserved, and a realistic one at that.

Secondly is Grief, and other ways of loving by @nightraiderwrites I didn't even watch Witchcraft SMP beyond Cleo's first episode but holy shit this blew me away? I think I got it recommended somewhere, and I'm so glad I did.

Thirdly, it's living arrangements by @raffinit. I originally read their Jaina/Sylvanas (World of Warcraft) works, and then found out they also wrote The Last of Us, Joel/Tess, and this one just... I felt so many things while reading this it's insane.

Empires (season one or two?, hermitcraft (though I don’t actually watch that one, just know some things), impossible craft/impossible smp (I forget the name, it’s actively releasing , and that series could potentially work for like frustration causing regression), there are other ones too but I haven’t watched some (like last life and evo [which frankly is so long I probably never will]) and others probably wouldn’t work (rats smp, witchcraft smp)

I have watched None of Empires (one of my friends is dying that I, at the moment, won't watch it because fixations), I am up to date (mostly) with Grian and Gem's Hermitcraft season 10! I also am up to date on Grian's Impossible Mniecraft and haven't yet decided on who else to watch (I usually choose two to watch if it's a current season / series and then go back and watch the others!) .

I have not watched Evo, I have watched Last Life (Grian and Scott in specific that I can think of right now), and I do watch Grian Impulse Gem Scar and Skizz's Phasmophobia group (I had an idea as I was answering thing about that group in specific and Agere Headcanons and I lost my train of thought but I still have the idea) I have not heard of Rats SMP or Witchcraft SMP!

ANYWAY:

•Lauren is the only person in her family who wasn’t born a witch, and that’s why she’s so determined to become the Supreme Witch, to prove all their jokes and insults wrong

•WC!Prismarina is related to ES1!Lizzie and is an axolotl hybrid (this is a hill I will die on)

•Scott used to be a nature witch, but then there was a whole accident involving his powers that got someone he cared about a lot (*cough cough* Jimmy) killed, so he became a necromantic witch to try and bring them back

•Before he died, Jimmy was a Sun Witch- he could control sunlight and make plants grow faster as well as lighting places up, but his powers only worked during the day

•Cleo constantly gets herself stuck in ten second time loops and it takes her a couple of hours to break out of them

•I think at some point, because Lauren befriended Joey and Pris, who hate each other now in lore I think, Lauren’s gonna be forced to choose between Joey and Pris

•Scott doesn’t like any nature witches, which unfortunately includes Tiffany
