The Frog
TV Shows/Dramas watched in 2024
The Frog (2024, South Korea)
Director: Mo Wan Il
Writer: Son Ho Young
Mini-review:
Wow, I didn't think I would enjoy The Frog so much. I guess I was in the mood for a dark, propulsive thriller. I've seen some people say it's 'slow', but like... where? This kept me glued to the screen from the very first episode, and it got more and more intense throughout the next ones. It even ventures into psychological horror territory from time to time, which made it even more fun to me. The writing isn't perfect (some of the characters aren't as well developed as they should), but the directing and the acting more than make up for it. Go Min Si turns in a particularly strong performance, and it's clear she gave it her all. I'm not gonna say this is the best thriller k-drama I've seen, but it was definitely enjoyable as hell.

Never Twice. 8.5
Story: 8
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, (kdrama) ;Homemade Love Story (kdrama)
It’s a family story drama with 72 episodes (32min long). Is it worthwhile watching. Absolutely. It’s hella melodramatic though, so keep that in mind going in. You have a corrupt family, a somewhat vengeful widow, a suicidal couple, a golfer, two adults nearing their 50s who act like they’re in their 20s and a cute older couple. It can get a bit bonkers at times especially towards the later half, the ending had me rolling my eyes on how everyone ended up in one big happy family. And I mean EVERYONE. It’s still a really nice drama even with its ups and downs especially with the main leads who had a beautiful storyline that was written brilliantly for them. I mean the chemistry between the two. *chefs kiss*

Kdramas i've watched this year
Some of these are older dramas but i'm a procrastinator
Black Knight (2023): Loved this one! I have watched it probably 5 times now. Kim Woobin kicking ass is all i need!
Under the Queen's Umbrella (2022): I didn't watch this when it aired (no idea why). I was worried that the plot would be overrun by romance but thankfully i was wrong. Loved Kim Hye-Soo's performance (i cried a little).
Island seasons 1 & 2 (2022-2023): Honestly i only started this one for Kim Nam-Gil. I loved the cast, but the flow of the plot was a little off (don't know how, i can't put a finger on it). Was positively suprised by Cha Eun-Woo's acting, i think he needs more roles like this! Hot villain alert no.1! Sung Joon as a bad guy is either a blessing or a curse. Cgi could have been better.
Taxi Driver season 2 (2023): Loved the first season so of course i had to watch the second one. Love Lee Je-Hoon. Love the main characters. Love the plot and the message of this drama. A masterpiece. Waiting for season 3.
Weak Hero Class 1 (2022): Only heard of this drama wayyy after it aired (thanks tiktok) and god does it deserve every award there is! I was a bit hesitant because Park Ji-Hoon was the main lead, but boy was i wrong because his talent got me speechless (weren't we all). I cried, i cheered, i shadowboxed, i cried a little more and in the end i called my therapist. Thankfully season 2 is coming.
Bloodhounds (2023): Woo Do-whan and Lee Sang-Yi in the same drama beating people up? Yes please! The plot wasn't mindblowing, but sometimes just simple ass kicking is enough. Bromance was bromancing. Park Sung-Woong with another great villain character.
Revenant (2023): After dropping Mr.Sunshine i wanted to see Kim Tae-ri in other dramas, so when this aired i gave it a go. Her range is phenomenal! I have only seen couple spookier dramas, so i made a mistake and watched this at night (slept with the lights on). The eerie vibes and plot twists were well made. Hong Kyung had great chemistry with Kim Tae-ri and his cop role was refreshing to see after his performance in Weak Hero Class (if you know you know).
Flower of Evil (2020): Okay, this is one of the dramas i procrastinated hard on. It's been sitting on my "have to watch" list since it aired and i'm the only one to blame (i hype up a drama in my mind, then don't want to watch it because now i'm afraid it doesn't go the way i think it does and then i get disappointed blaablaablaa). This year i finally got over myself and why. didn't. i. watch. it. sooner!!!! It is all i ever wanted in a kdrama. 1. serial killers 2. a psychopath (but is he really?) w/ an effed up childhood 3. mindgames 4. marriage problems (but has a lot of soft & cute scenes) 5. Lee Joon-Gi. Also as a plus (hot villain alert no.2) the bad guy is kindaa (i'm sane i swear). I would be lying if i didn't say that i found the wife slightly annoying (might be me, but she went too much back & forth and sometimes i had to take a breather while watching), but all in all this drama will be hard to top and i fell in love with Lee Joon-Gi.
Moving (2023): Honestly one of the best dramas of the year. I don't usually really go for plots that have a lot of romance in them (if you haven't noticed), but i found this one to be really well balanced and the romance scenes weren't "cringy". Although Bong-Seok and Hui-Soo were great and had great chemistry, i looooved the background stories of the parents. Park Hee-Soon also pops up as kind of a non-villain villain. I hope there is a season 2.
Song of the Bandits (2023): Kim Nam-Gil again. 1920s Korea and gunslingers... what more could i need? After Mr. Sunshine left me with a disappointment (this might be an unpopular opinion) i craved for a drama set around the same time period, but with a little less romance (i know, i am defective). I think dramas should explore this time period more, but i understand it might still be a touchy subject. The skills of the cast were obviously great, Kim Nam-Gil killed his role like always, but Lee Ho-Jung as Eon-Nyeon shined with her performance (i am now a new fan). Hot villain alert no.3! I have seen Lee Hyun-Wook in Remarriage & Desires and seeing him as a villain made me feel things. If there isn't a second season i will cry.
The Killing Vote (2023): A "serial killer" in a dog mask making the public vote on punishing criminals and everyone suspects each other? Cyber crime? Chemistry between two cops? Major hot villain (no.4)? Sign me up. I love when crime dramas make you question your people reading skills (i have the tism so i really got none) and have all kinds of theories flying around. I liked that even Kim Mu-Chan and Joo Hyun had obvious chemistry between them it didn't overshadow the main point of the plot. I liked Seo Young-Joo's delivery and i hope he gets more bigger roles. Kim Kwon.... why does the psychopath have to be hot? He also needs more bigger roles. !spoiler! Also Park Sung-Woong killing (heh) yet another morally grey character.
The Worst of Evil (2023): Okay, first of all i have to say... the wife ruined everything (some agree and some don't). We get another bromance duo of the year with Wi Ha-Joon and Ji Chang-Wook. Loved the crime organization infiltration plot, heavily despised the romance plot (sorry Bibi baby). I was constantly on the edge of my seat and the characters started to get so morally grey that in the end everyone needs group therapy. Action scenes were chefs kiss. A honorable mention goes for Lee Shin-Ki as Seo Jong-Ryul (or Chief Seo, knife guy, the man has many names) and Bibi for her performance as Lee Hae-Ryeon.
Evilive (2023): Heavily underrated. Kim Young-Kwang doing what he does best, playing a psychopath. This combined with a bromance plot with the one and only bromance master Shin Ha-Kyun? I'm sold. The dramas literal title "villain story" really sums up the plot. Sometimes you are not sure who to cheer for. Sometimes you are not really sure about your own sanity. But to be fair, so aren't the main characters.
Vigilante (2023): Love it. Currently re-watching it. Needs more attention. Needs more episodes. I'm in love with Nam Joo-Hyuk. The best crime drama of the year, the title is all i needed to hear. Beating up criminals in well made action scenes is my favorite genre. No romance. One sided bromance? Morally grey characters (am i repeating myself now?). Yoon Ji-Tae as a beefy cop and Lee Joon-Hyuk as a slightly insane admirer? If we don't get a season 2 i will start a riot.

D.P. (Season 2)
TV Shows/Dramas watched in 2023
D.P. (Season 2, 2023, South Korea)
Director: Han Jun Hee
Writers: Kim Bo Tong & Han Jun Hee
Mini-review:
The moment has finally come: Netflix's best Korean Original has made its return with a second season. And these two years of waiting have been more than worth it. It seemed impossible but, somehow, this new season is even better than the first one. It preserves all of its many strengths, and then it takes them to the next level. Both the directing and the writing are amazingly intense. I spent six whole hours on the edge of my seat, biting my nails to the quick, and the last two episodes left me breathless. I also loved the show's attempts at experimenting, like the musicality in episode 3 or the horror undertones in episode 4. As for the acting, is there anything left to say? This is a cast full of incredible actors, and all of them give career-best performances. This time round, Jung Hae In and Son Suk Ku are probably the MVPs, but everyone does a flawless job. To sum up, this second season blew away my sky-high expectations, and I really hope we get a third one, cause TV shows don't get better than this.
P.S. There's a lot of triggering content here, so please be careful with that. Those of you who watched the first season already know this, but I'm saying it just in case.

Night has come- Episode 5 and 6 (INCLUDES SPOILERS)(WARNING: LOOOOOONNNGGG RANT AHEAD)
AGAIN, this post includes spoilers (All my posts do) so if you haven't seen this episode, I recommend not to read this post.
However, if you want to know just how bad your mind will be mess up, you are welcome to stay.
.
.
.
.
.
.
First of all
I had this very interesting post that I was about to post in which I explained how the girl with the ax in the intro was Lee Yoon Seo, and now I see that it was a good idea not to post it because it would have made me look stupid considering what happened at the end of episode six.
So, that saved me.
EPISODE 5:
A FREAKING ROLLERCOASTER.
It was kind of obvious that Park Woo Ram was Mafia but the way it was delivered? that was unexpected. But let's not jump ahead of the whole kidnapping/dividing thing, because WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT.
I, for once, knew Go Kyung Jun was going to be a pain in the butt but I will not take away the credit for his intelligence.
Like, the way he was right about who was the mafia? That was detective work right there. The way he delivered the confession? I won't lie, torture is a good way to make someone confess to something you had no part of but Woo Ram was mafia.
THE TORTURE:
I am sure Kyung Jun is a citizen. I have no proof but I have zero doubts. But, I do think that he'll be able to kill somebody if it means protecting himself or someone he cares about.
As it was shown in episode 5, he tortured Woo Ram to get a confession out of him, and as an avid reader of mafia romances -and currently writing my own, if I may say- the way he managed the torture was exceptional.
Tumblr don't flag me, but a girl has to admit when torture is on point, and this one was. It wasn't the physical torture that surprised me but the psychological. The way he would smile in a clear way that showed he didn't care about making somebody suffer was the CHERRY IN TOP OF THE ICE.
(And if I may mention, he is very cute.)
However, every bad character has a soft side and as we saw when he locked himself in the canteen, he started crying because he caused someone to die, and he tortured someone and everybody hates him so that ought to hurt.
THE SECRET PATHWAY:
When I tell you my mouth went
I have a feeling
AND THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT FEELING
That the ghost is trying to help Yoon Seo, as a matter of fact, I don't even think Woo Seok is dead but I'll dive into that theory later.
What I mean by the ghost trying to help Yoon Seo, I mean that the ghost seems to be leaving clues for her to find. Why is the ghost doing this? I don't know but I'm sure they are connected somehow.
When Yoon Seo found the secret room, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in how she didn't stay longer to investigate.
Girl reads crime and mystery novels, and she just looked for a bit and left.
If that had been me? I would have looked through the freaking cameras in the room to try and find out who was the mafia (We know who is the mafia, we are expecting the results) but she just left, so that was a bit disappointing.
I feel the ghost is making every clue obvious for her to find because she is not looking properly. You would expect her to be more invested into the whole thing but as of right now the only thing she has found was how the second body didn't had defense marks and the black light used to look at the door.
The door was obvious, it was not as if someone could break a door open like that with the power of hate.
However, everything else has been the ghost doing. Finding the entry to the secret hall? The ghost pushed the boxes.
The picture? The ghost had to put a light on it so she would actually find it interesting.
The exit? Again, the ghost had to say "Girl, it's this way" and I find that hilarious.
The ghost is carrying the show.
THE GAME:
This game is cheating in the most awful way possible. Like, it is legal for someone to not vote! But the game changed the rules and now they either vote or die.
As I approach the ending, I am allowed to touch the rules of the game.
Everybody must vote. As we saw in episode 3, the consequences are catastrophic. Great way to get rid of most of the cast.
The game must take place inside the designated zone. I am not a tech wizard but there must be some kind of sensor that alerts whoever is controlling this game when someone steps out, right?
If two people have the same amount of votes, then the voting has to be repeated and if it happens again, then they all die.
The third one was genius. Like, I can't find any crack in the rules and that is amazing and frustrating.
and finally,
what we were all expecting,
Woo Seok dying:
This was sad, and it probably hurt me more than it hurt Yoon Seo
BUT
I don't think he is dead
Like, sure. His head did the ringing of possession and his eyes went white but I don't think he died.
I think he is alive
I think he is not a mafia
I think he is controlling the game
GOSH, IT FEELS GOOD TO SAY IT.
Why do I think he is not dead?
All the other deaths have been very gruesome
(This is just an example, I won't put all of them)
Even the ones with the pillow and the curtain were gruesome and awful but Woo Seok?
Look at that
His head is not even underwater,
his body is not belly down
he is just there
floating,
like a water lili
He looks like a model.
So I don't think he is dead
Him dying defies the purpose of the whole show
He wants to protect Yoon Seo and dying won't grant him that
Now, if he is actually dead then that was a stupid move from the producers but I'm sure we'll get our plot twist.
KIM SO MI:
We all knew she was mafia.
We all know she wants to survive
But she is a psycho
Like, real psycho
Why all of them thought that leaving the ax out while there is a killer on the loose was a good idea, I don't know, but she has it and she has a victim in mind.
The end of episode six clearly shows her about to slice Yoon Seo open, but the the screen goes dark and she screams
And I don't think it was a scream of "Getting ready to kill you in the most awful way possible" but I think it was a scream of "Something is awful and I am about to die."
I think the ghost showed up, or the doctor/police stopped her
It may be hopeful thinking, but I think she is dead
like, really dead.
Yoon Seo can't die. She is the main character and even though kdrama writers and producers are fond of killing the main characters (we all know what I mean) killing Yoon Seo would be a stupid move.
Yoon Seo remains alive, So Mi? I'm not sure.
Now, this is not a point but just some questions and theories I have.
Why is Oh Jung Won so protective of Yoon Seo? I mean, I would also defend my best friend with my life but the way Jung Won is so protective makes me think there is something else happening here.
Jin Da Beom. He is one of the main characters. Why is he a main character acting like an extra? This is annoying me.
This may be random, and this is me being crazy but I am SO SURE that if Kyung Jun and Yoon Seo joined forces, they would find the mafia.
Besides, the way he only stops when she speaks? I may romanticizing stuff but you don't join kdrama land while being sane.
You are welcome to call me out in something I may have mistaken, and you are welcome to share your theories with me too!
Until next episode.

Time Will Tell - Chapter 19
My Time Will Tell Masterlist
My Cha Hyun-su Masterlist
My Navigation and Masterlist
The Time Will Tell Glossary
Warnings: Periods and bleeding through clothes (its so traumatic omg 😭). Word Count: 1,266
prev | current | next
You heard the whistle blowing as you sat on a pillow on the ground reading your book. It blew over and over again and you groaned in annoyance. You knew this was a drill the group was practicing but it was honestly something you weren’t interested in. It was even more annoying when you realized the room you were in was the room they were using to practice.
Ji-su came into the room, growling and acting like a monster while Hye-in screamed in terror, crawling away from her. You tried to refocus on your book but it was hard with all the screaming and banging.
They suddenly were able to catch her in a net and have her hanging in the air.
Eun-yu clapped her hands sarcastically. “Whoo! This is just great. You all seemed to be having fun.”
She walked out and passed by Jin-ok and your siblings as they walked in. They saw you on the ground and you waved at them with a smile. They waved back and smiled before Jin-ok redirected them to the nursery again with the chaos all controlled.
You walked out of the main lobby room with conflicted emotions. Eun-hyuk had just announced the Green House Rules of Survival.
Move in groups of two or more. Report anything unusual immediately.
Your assigned buddy was Jin-ok, a pairing you didn’t mind all that much.
Eat once a day. Only the prescribed amount is distributed.
Luckily, Eun-hyuk had already thought about child growth and agreed to up the ration size for Su-yeong and Yeong-su whenever they ate.
Check everyone’s temperature every night at 8:00 p.m.
You were okay with this one. It was an easy way to check and make sure everyone was healthy in general but also a way to see if they were having any symptoms.
And the last one. The one you hated the most and weren’t afraid to show how much you hated it.
Quarantine the infected.
You despised it. It was terrible and inhumane and cruel. You knew Seok-hyeon wasn’t good company in that room and it got on your nerves that Eun-hyuk had started doing everything he could to stop you from going in to see Hyun-su. You hated it. The affection you held for the boy grew stronger with each day you saw or even didn’t see him. You didn’t know if it was reciprocated and to be honest you didn’t really care. You just wanted to protect him and keep him safe, but it seemed like you were the only one who thought that.
You watched as Jae-hwan slid a piece of paper through the crack of the gate of the arcade room.
A grocery list.
They made him a fucking grocery list. With stupid items like sunscreen, and nail polish.
You hated most of the residents you were living with.
It was infuriating to you and you couldn’t believe how selfish they were being. They hardly even said a word, they just handed him the paper and walked off quickly, like being near him would infect them.
Honestly, you sort of wished it would, that way they can experience the way they’re treating him and understand their wrongdoings.
Later on, when Eun-hyuk led Hyun-su to the staircase entrance for his next trip, you ran up to them. While you wanted to argue against him going with Eun-hyuk, you knew it was pointless so you looked at Hyun-su instead.
“Stay safe, Hyun-su. Please,” you begged quietly.
He stared at you with a hurricane of unreadable emotions swimming in his eyes. With a nod, he assured you he would be. You reached out to grab his hand but hesitated and pulled away at the last second. You noticed the way he seemed to feel about your touch whenever you touched him so you started to stop yourself from doing it. It was hard though because you were so used to touch.
He looked disappointed by you pulling away but gave you another nod before turning and ascending the stairs. You didn’t even look at Eun-hyuk as you turned around and walked towards the daycare where your siblings were playing around and laughing loudly.
A few more days passed and Hyun-su continued to be an Uber Eats delivery boy for all of the residents, and it pissed you off to no end.
Each day, the boy would come up to you before he left and ask if you needed anything, anything he could find and bring down or help you with; and each day, you turned down all his offers. You refused to use him like everyone else, refused to make him a puppet to do everything you asked. You turned him down day after day, and you made a promise that you would continue to turn him down every day.
That is… until today.
“Fuck! No, this cannot be happening,” you complained quietly in the bathroom. You were just using the bathroom as usual when you pulled down your underwear and saw them soaked with blood.
The apocalypse happened and every living thing in the world was slaughtering or being slaughtered but your body still had a functioning uterus.
You groaned in frustration, grabbing an unnecessary amount of toilet paper on a normal basis, but a very necessary amount for this situation, and wrapping it around your underwear. It would do for maybe a few hours, but you knew you would need some other sanitation products soon.
Periods sucked.
You did the rest of your business and stepped up to the sink to wash your hands.
“Holy shit,” you heard Eun-yu say from behind you and you jumped. You had no idea she was even in the bathroom, let alone right behind you. You finished washing before turning to face her. “You completely bled through,” she said somewhat regretfully, pointing to your pants. You groaned with your head in your hands, not even wanting to look but knowing you should.
She was right. It was bad. It looked like you sat in a bloodbath and you sighed in exhaustion. You assumed the stress from all that was happening was causing your flow to be heavier than usual. “Fuck,” you said under your breath. You were thankful you got your jacket back from your siblings when you gave it to them as a blanket and could use it as a coverup. You shucked the jacket off your arms and wrapped it around your waist, doing a little spin to make sure everything was covered to the best of your ability. Afterwards, you turned to Eun-yu with worried eyes. “Does it look okay?”
She placed her hands in her pockets and leaned against the wall. “Yeah, it looks fine now. You’ll get blood on your jacket though.”
You shrugged. “Part of the process, I guess. You wouldn’t have any pads by chance, would you?” She shook her head, giving you a remorseful smile. You nodded, returning the smile in thanks.
You walked around the lobby, going to all the girls and asking if they had any period equipment but none of them did. You got more and more hopeless after each person you asked, finishing up with Hye-in.
“Why don’t you ask Hyun-su to get some on his next trip?” She suggested. Your eyes lit up, but not for the suggestion she made.
“I’m never going to ask him to do anything like that for me. It’s using him and I refuse to do that. You did give me an idea, though, so thank you.”
She nodded in acknowledgement but her face showed confusion.

whats zb1’s preference in a partner like moans/groans/whines/screams/whimpers/cries during sex
(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)
Kim Ji-Woong - whines and whimpers.
Like honestly he finds it so cute when his partner whines and whimpers during sex. I turns him on so much. Like him pounding into his partner repeatedly and hearing that is just blissful for him.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Sung Han Bin - moans
Honestly plain and simple hearing his partner moan during sex is somewhat of an ego boost for him. He knows he is making his partner feel good every time he fucks them. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Ricky - any
He won't really care which one because sex is different every time so his partner will have different noises each time. No matter what he loves the sounds his partner makes every time he pounds into them.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Zhang Hao - moans and cries
He literally fucks his partner into bliss every time to where they moan and cry and its addicting to hear it every time to him. So it's not surprising that it's his favorite sound.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Kim Gyu-vin - whimpers
He finds it so cute when his partner whimpers. It literally motivates him to keep going and fuck his partner harder. He literally wants to fuck his partner every day because of how addicting they sound.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Seok Mathew - moans and whimpers
Absolutely in love with the sound of his partner and most definitely would try to fuck his partner every day. He loves listening to them whimper and moan. Especially when he manhandles his partner when he is fucking them.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Kim Tae-rae - any
Just like Ricky he wouldn't care which one because he loves hearing any sound out of his partners mouth. It's hot to him. He loves different positions with his partner to see what sound they will make.

Seok Matthew X Fem Reader Word Count: 1K Warnings: None really aside from Reader being Ji-Woong's Sister
If there was one thing in the world that she knew for certain it was that her brother adored her, Jiwoong was undeniably her number one person in this world and if someone so much as breathed in her direction, they would be interrogated like they just committed 3 counts of murder. Even so, he did love the fact that most of his friends took to her like a brother when he wasn’t around, so it wasn’t a surprise when he invited her to go camping with them. She mostly stuck to her brother's side, but Gyuvin, Taerae, and Yujin would occasionally kidnap her to cause some sort of chaos, which is actually what led her to this moment, funnily enough.
The four stood in front of their 6 friends, all four deciding to look at their surrounding areas as if they didn’t see the 6 sets of shocked and amused eyes directed in their direction. “How in the world did you guys end up soaked, there’s no water near here?” Hanbin wondered, causing Taerae to look more sheepish than the others.
“So, remember how you told me to dump the cooler earlier?” He smiled sweetly trying to butter up his hyung, only earning quirked eyebrows in response, which caused him to huff and cross his arms.
“Taerae packed water guns so we used the water to fill up water guns, we had a war, which Yujin and I won by the way!” Gyuvin snitched, earning glares from his accomplices.
“Well, you four will be sitting in Jiwoong’s car since it has seat covers, we already packed your bags into the truck so no change of clothes,” Hao explained earning pitiful nods in return.
“I call shotgun since I won!” Gyuvin hollered trying to run to the front seat only to get pushed back by Jiwoong.
“I don’t sit next to wet rats, You four wet rats can sit in the back, Matthew is riding up front since the truck has minimal space,” Jiwoong stated, earning a glare from his sister.
“Um I’m the only girl, why am I being put in the back with these three giants and how do you expect us to fit?”
“You will start to smell in about 20 minutes, and I don’t want to be smelling it so closely, You guys can figure it out.”He smiled falsely at her before he and Matthew went ahead getting into the car.
“Sometimes I think he likes Matt more than me,” She grumbled watching as her accomplices tried to gauge the size of the back seat, “At least it wasn’t Gunwook…He’d take up the whole damn seat with his shoulders.” She joked, earning a giggle from Taerae and Gyuvin and a smile from Yujin.
“How about you lay across our laps?” Yujin offered, which earned three shrugs in agreement, and so the three giants got into the back seat lifting their arms slightly so it would be easier for her to climb over, however, they didn’t anticipate just how painful it would be with her moving across them, her knees and elbows pressing on their muscles in all of the wrong ways.
“Ow!”The various yelps echoed through the car earning laughs from Matthew and Jiwoong and sputtered apologies from the girl. The girl quickly got off of the boys instead taking position curled up in a ball in front of Yujin leaving all of the boys with a free lap.
“You guys are seriously going to have her sit on the floor?” Matthew asked incredulously, he looked at the girl in concern.
“She’s the smallest, it’s a tight fit man.” Gyuvin defended looking down at her a little shamefully. Matthew assessed the situation quickly, if he gave up his seat to her there was no way the four males could sit comfortably in the back, if he moved Taerae to his seat, since he was broader, and instead moved to the back he could move her onto his lap so that everyone could sit comfortably, that seemed to be the easiest route.
“Taerae, switch with me,” Matthew suggested with zero hesitation earning confused looks from the four in the back, he didn’t stop to look at Jiwoong, who had a small smirk on his face hoping this would have happened.
“No, it's fine! I’m okay right here.” She reassured, Matthew ignored the girl simply giving Taerae a stern look, the switch didn’t take long, Matthew was then sitting in the seat behind Taerae, swiftly hoisting the girl up into his lap and placing her sideways. After a started yelp, she looked at Matthew with wide eyes, but the man was simply reaching for the seatbelt, securing it around both of them, his hands then moving to place themselves securely on her hips. “Matt, I can sit on the ground. I don’t mind, I don’t want to get you all wet.” She stammered only to be met with the sweetest smile directed up at her from below, the man moved some of the wet hair out of her face and as the red crept up her neck and to her ears, he could simply only look at her like she had a face full of makeup and was dressed in a ball gown, it was odd how she had never noticed the look the boy had given but seeing it up close she recognized it.
“Just stay here, it’s safer.” He spoke so softly she barely heard him, and as the road trip began, their position slowly moved to a more comfortable one, her arms now wrapped around his neck, allowing him to rest his head on her shoulder as they both watched TikTok on his phone, giggling quietly to each other about each one, she moved her eyes from the screen for a moment, catching her brothers eye in the mirror, he had a larger smirk on his face and approval glittering in his eyes. She was almost shocked at how okay he was with her sitting on his best friend's lap, but maybe she could understand, he had always expressed how good he thought Matthew would be with a girl, always trying to talk him up to her. She trusted his approval so with that thought she slouched back into Matthews's arms leaning her head on top of his just embracing the moment.
