I have to confess that Sibel's fourth bridal outfit was definitely my favourite. I love her hair accessory, and her dress is also fantastic. And lmao at your comment about the wedding - she is truly a determined woman, hahahaha.
I will forever curse Turkish censorship laws for robbing me of the Rambel sex scenes I deserve. But even with this part left to imagination, their interactions are absolutely gold.
I loved the Gizem scene so fucking much. Ramo is a very patient man, which is precisely why I would never want to be around him when his patience wears thin. Still not sure if the regret Gizem showed in the car, when Doğan was driving her to the airport, was genuine or another one of her tricks, but I do like to believe that she did feel sorry, at least for what it could have been if she would have been a different person.
I think Ramo and SIbel protecting each other like this in this instance sums up their entire relationship perfectly. This is why they are so good together, and this is why their love is so compelling. It's a partnership through and through, and they complement each other so well. Cavidan and Nehir never had any chances with Ramo, that's for sure.
The Korkut scene was also gold, and it serves to ultimately highlight the main reason why Ramo is one of the "good" guys ("good" in mob terms, of course). It makes me remember Cihangir and the story he told Nehir about the murder of his father, and how he ultimately became the monster he was in order to not lose anyone like that ever again. Quite different from Ramo, who, while intent on getting revenge, is still capable of compassion, and is not comfortable with making a kid living the same nightmare.
A few other considerations related to this episode. I like that Şerif realised what was Ramo's plan regarding Yıldırım, and yet he did not stop him. Şerif is a smart and confident man, and obviously more cunning than the other two bosses, the hell twins, but he's too arrogant, and therefore he makes the same mistake all Ramo's enemies (except Fiko and Mazhar, up to a point) made. He thinks Ramo can be controlled. As if! Doğu sums it up perfectly when he says "the greatest decision I ever took was to stop being your enemy, brother".
As unhinged as Nehir was in the immediate aftermath of her father's death, I think that by the time of this episode, it was utterly clear she was never going to be more than a small nuisance for Ramo. And it's so amusing how she insists in front of Gizem that she is untouchable, when Ramo has just killed one of the hell twins.
I loathe the Hasan cheating plot, but at least (like you pointed out) they did not give Ramo a secret child. We can thank out lucky stars for that.
And as a small note - I think Efsane Odağ, the actress who plays Afet, was sick or something during the filming of this episode, because Afet does not make any appearances, although she is mentioned multiple times.

Fourth time is the charm!
First wedding: To Ramo, who she loved madly but who she also hated for killing her father and planned to murder after the wedding. No fancy clothes since it was a forced wedding to stop an Adana mob war:
Tumblr media
Second wedding: To psycho Taner, to get Ramo out of jail.
Tumblr media
Third wedding: To Ramo, but getting shot before it’s completed.
Tumblr media
If you don’t succeed at first, try try again is Sibel’s motto in life, clearly.
My favorite little bit was when they were waltzing and she said she wanted them to have a peaceful life far from mob fights and he promised to which she basically rolled her eyes and said something like she will take it if he refrains for mob business on the wedding day. (Seeing their wedding was intercut with an epic shootout, not surprising.)
And then Ramo excuses himself and goes to terrify the hell out of her traitor sister. (I do love that he lets her live and comes with this whole plan so Sibel won’t know her sister is a POS. And later Sibel finds out and is not mad and instead hides she knows because she doesn’t want him to be hurt thinking of her hurt. AWWW). I loved the bit where he removed his bowtie with relish, saying to Sibel’s sis he hates them but he put one on because Sibel asked. And that about sums it up.

Ahaha the wedding night is delish!!! When she leans in and whispers to him “here I am the Big Boss” and he grins and goes “come here, Big Boss,” man - their sex life must be fire.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are adorable! He is putting breakfast on her plate!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Duality of Ramo. As smitten as he was, here he is about to slit someone’s throat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then the man’s son comes in and the mobster begs not in front of his son and to let the kid leave first and Ramo…he is totally remembering his own father’s murder in front of his eyes. And he pauses and spares the man. AAA! And that is why his kill count notwithstanding, he’s different from the rest of them.

People I want Edvin to work with
Again
Pernilla August: She's a legend and I love all their scenes together. I would love for them to play against eachother again in a story were their relationship is more of a main part of the story. Give me a complex relationship drama.
Alexandra Rapaport: She and Edvin have such a amazing on screen chemistry and know eachother so well. I would love to see a different dynamic between them or just a different setting compared to Gåsmamman. Maybe a healtier relationship.
Joel Lutsow: For the same reason. Their relationship in Gåsmamman was my fave and their relationship off screen is equally special to me. I just want them together on screen again. I can't see them play anything but brothers though.
Gustav Lindh: They barely interacted in Älska mig but I would love to see them work together. They are both great.
Josephine Bornebush: A pure genuius.
Malte Gårdinger: I would actually love for them to play friends.
Alicia Vikander: I mean come on.
Bill Skarsgård: They didn't really play against eachother, they played the same character. But yes give me them in the same movie.
For the first time
Alba August: I could see them play siblings. It would be cool. I love Alba.
Aliette Opheim: She scared me shitless in Knutby and she's an amazing acress.
Simon J Berger: Also an amazing actor with so much charisma.
Alexander Abdallah: We all want this. I know we do.
Louis Hofmann: Look Dark is my favourite show ever. Give me them together.
Lucas Lyngaard Tønnessen: Danish Swedish collab please.
Tarjei Sandvik Moe: Add Norway to the mix (Only if he shaves)
Gizem Kling Erdogan: Please! She's amazing.
Wilma Lidén: They were so young when they played against eachother and I want them to interact on screen again.
I probably forgot at least ten but these came to my mind just now.

Califfato
