This is the Summer Station ID of ABS-CBN in 2007. The Summer Station ID was themed “Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas”.

The Summer Station ID theme song was performed by Filipina OPM singer and songwriter Regine Velasquez featuring Filipino singer, songwriter, rapper, conductor, television host and comedian Ogie Alcasid which is Regine Velasquez's husband when they got married in December 24, 2005. Also starting in June 1, 2007, The theme “Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas” can be heard on DZMM Radyo 630 and various radio stations nationwide.

The Summer Station ID was filmed in Manila, Quezon City, Baguio, Palawan and Boracay in June 2006 whenever the ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5 crew members are having a hot summer day into a big summer party.

The Summer Station ID clips will be re-used in the I Gotta Feeling music video from the future movie Ready Player One which will be releasing in March 21, 2013 from Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. But somehow, This is the only Summer Station ID to feature actors from ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5.

Gil Cuerva is now officially a Kapuso

GMA Network Inc. officially welcomes international model Gil Cuerva to its roster of talents as he signed a co-management contract with GMA Artist Center last January 13.

Present in the contract signing were GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment TV Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Vic del Rosario and Gil’s co-manager and Cornerstone Entertainment Inc. President Erickson Raymundo.

The newly-signed Kapuso star feels happy to be officially part of the GMA Network family. “I’m honoured and I’m very much thankful for the opportunity given to me by GMA Artist Center as well as Cornerstone. I know that I’m in good hands and I’m very excited for my upcoming projects. I look forward to the way the things will go for my career. I’m proud to be Kapuso,” he declares.

Meanwhile, Rasonable expresses her positive wishes for Cuerva’s career. “Of course we are very happy that we have a new Kapuso.  It’s especially exciting because he is a fresh face, somebody that the audience will look forward to seeing on screen. We’re happy that we have a new talent who is so good-looking and we’re excited for the projects that we will be giving him in the near future,” concludes the GMA executive.

Cuerva will play alongside Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado in the local adaptation of the Korean drama hit, My Love From The Star, which will air soon on GMA-7.

At the very end, The book closes with sparkles coming out and the text “The End” at the end cover appears similar to the 2010 Station ID of GMA with the 2005 ABS-CBN logo and the text at the bottom that says “Maligayang Pasko, Kapamilya!”

This is the second Christmas Station ID to feature the crew from ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5 after “Sabay Tayo sa Pasko, Kapamilya!”

But eventually, The scenes were originally combined from the 2005 Christmas Station IDs from ABS-CBN and GMA which are “Sabay Tayo sa Pasko, Kapamilya!” from ABS-CBN and “Kapuso, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko” from GMA.

Reasons why I love watching MLFTS

1. Dahil kay Guillermo Ernesto Cuerva also known as Gil Cuerva 2. Maganda ang story, extraordinary 3. Habang nanunood ka para kang nasa rollercoaster! Patatawanin ka, paiiyakin tapos pakikiligin. In short mababaliw ka sa story. Jk. 4. Ang galing ni Direk Joyce Bernal husay niya mag-direk! 5. Ang gandng ng shots/cinematography ng ibang scenes at maganda ang editing. Hindi tulad ng iba kung napanuod na TS sa GMA 6. Ang galing ni Jen na gumanap bilang Steffi! Kuhang-kuha niya ung kabaliwan nung orig version actually mas magaling pa siya! #ginalinganniate haha :D Matatawa ka talaga sa mga kalokohan niya. :) 7. Mamahalin mo lahat ng casts except sa mga kontrabida hehe pero without them wala rin SPICE kaya KUDOS to all of them! 8. Ang lakas lang ng chemistry ng JenGil unexpected onscreen chemistry. 9. Yung feeling na parang ayaw mo ng matapos ang MLFTS sa sobrang kilig sa MattFi. EXTEND PA PLEASE! Ganoin! 10. I really enjoyed watching it every night! Wala ako na-miss na kahit isang Ep. Sinubaybayan ko talaga siya. At sobrang mamimiss ko ung show pag natapos na. :,(
