a certain discord server may be rubbing off on me, because even though i’ve watched this movie what feels like thousands of times before, THIS TIME when i saw Bird Mode Howl (like the very last scene with him, where he’s all big and feathery) my mind IMMEDIATELY went “!!!!!THAT’S SKIZZLEMAN”

What does the future look like? When is the right time to have a plan for your life? Is it a bad thing to not have ambitious goals?

Growing up, the question is constantly asked, "What do you wanna do when you grow up?" Maybe you have an idea, maybe you don't. Once you're old enough to begin making choices for yourself though, that question is daunting. At the same time though, there will always be others that seemingly have everything planned out exactly the way that they want. Everyone moves at their own pace, but nobody wants to fall behind, right?

It's so easy to get lost in the journey of reaching a goal for yourself. There's nothing quite like achieving something you set out to do, making an accomplishment, getting farther in life. At the end of the day though, being able to say "I did it!" doesn't mean anything if the process of reaching that goal was absolute hell. Missing out on important parts of your life, distancing yourself from friends and family, depriving yourself of food and sleep, it's not healthy. Is that really worth it?

Everyone has a place in the world, something they're meant to do. What yours or mine is may not be clear at the moment. Or maybe it is, but the road to get there is foggy and scary looking. Take the time to learn and grow. Shoot for the stars, but enjoy life throughout the entire journey.

friends, I saw Kiki’s Delivery Service in theaters yesterday and let me tell you. it was a treat. I felt like I was a kid watching it for the first time again. 10/10 I was kicking and giggling the whole time

I'm thinking about my plans for the day! later, I'm going thrifting with my friends in another town (bc my mom and stepdad are playing a gig there, they're in a band.)

I'm thinking about trying to get tickets for Ghibli fest later this year- and how to put together a howl cosplay, because I've been on a bit of a Ghibli kick recently.

Anime Films Screenings 2024

With the amount of films getting limited screenings(in the U.S), I decided to make a calendar compiling all of them. Majority of these are by Gkids so just check their site to buy tickets.

If you find a theater airing any of these, they'll most likely get the rest of the slate since it's part of their bread and butter. Will keep this updated as more get announced.
