One thing I love about Jeff Parker's Hulk run is seeing Thaddeus Ross broken and vulnerable. Like he isn't a Boogeyman like he comes off as sometimes.

Imagine being one of the top dogs of the US military, having literal legions under your command.....but you can't even save the only person you have left.

Ross was manipulated into becoming Red Hulk and you can tell he doesn't want to do it. Yeah he talks about coveting power in World War Hulks but he sold his soul to the devil to save his daughter's life.

He doesn't regret saving Betty....but he regrets allowing himself to trust devils. They turned his baby into a monster and it's because of him.

Marvel launched The Incredible Hulk with cover date of May, 1962. The first issue created the origin of the Hulk as well as introduced Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Betty Ross, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, Rick Jones, the Gargoyle, and Igor Drenkov. They were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. While the Hulk took on his trademark green hue starting in issue 2, he was grey in the first issue. The Incredible Hulk becomes The Inedible Bulk. This story was fun, if only because the Bulk wants to be a Hollywood Casanova. Which is such a great inversion of Hulk wanting to be left alone. Also Bruce Banner as a sanitation officer shockingly works, in my opinion. Also cool seeing a cameo from Dr. Sivana. That's one of the many Fawcett cameos I've seen in this comic series. (Not Brand Echh #3):

With the idea of a TFRB x AEMH crossover. It came to the idea that maybe Charlie and Ross could have been friends...

As in the military, they both meet and were partnered together in some activities and become friends, but over time, Ross started to show those sights of aggression and discrimination so Charlie had to decide if ignore or leave his friend.

He chose to leave...

But when he heard that Ross's wife had died Charlie had a moment of remorse and thought that his friend might have opened his eyes, but then the Hulk came to Griffin Rock and Charlie lost his marbles...

¨General Thaddeus E. Thunderbolt Ross, I request a private meeting in my quarter. Now, right now¨

Also, did you guys knew that Ross full name is Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross???

I really hope that the return of Samuel Sterns and Betty Ross, along with Harrison Ford taking over as General Ross doesn't take the attention away from Sam Wilson or Anthony Mackie.

On another note, why are there so many Hulk actors in a Captain America movie?
