Gives me chills every time I hear it.

This painting is called 'Surrogate'. I tried some new things, but still delivered on the fall vibes for the season 🍁🍂

Gehrman is one of the more fascinating characters of the franchise to me because of his elusive story. There's so much we 'know' about him because of connections and inferences, but there isn't much that is outright said about him, and even that is often debated in the community.

What was his relationship with Laurence? Maria? The Moon Presence? What were the circumstances that landed him in the dream? Why a scythe? Why a doll? There's so much that we're only left to guess about him, which is ironic since knowing his circumstances exactly would really solidify a lot of the story.
