hey otherkin and therian friends, people with non-human alters, furries and anyone else who's curious.. emoji kitchen is wonderful for making emojis that fit your kin type!! you can combine any two emojis and create other emojis - so if you wanted a silly turtle...

you can totally do that.

using emoji kitchen you can combine close to any two emoji you want just by selecting them in the web app - they're great for discord custom emojis or just for sending in chats.. just know they're images, not little emojis!!

For those native English speakers, I need to show you something:

Look how tidy the keyboard in Spanish looks when you add the ñ key.

In English, it has a gap on both sides.

Just that :P thought I'd be cool for someone who never saw the Spanish keyboard.

Most years the Google Japan team shows off a wildly impractical keyboard in October, and they release the open source resources necessary to recreate their madness. Their offering for 2021 was a keyboard shaped like a teacup, with the keys corresponding to the kanji for different kinds of sushi. Naturally I took it upon myself to actually build one of these, which is now done. It was way less aggravating to put together than I expected, mostly a lot of bending and soldering little pieces of metal to assemble the PCB pieces into a cylinder.

I'm using Gboard as my phone's keyboard and... it's got this feature, idk if it's just a Gboard thing, but sometimes it can generate a new emoji from combining two other emojis (I think I've seen someone on here posting about this before?) anyway here are some of my recent favorites I've been pestering my dad with
