taps mic. clears throat. remus being the embodiment of the thoughts and fantasies thomas considered "forbidden" means he was, at least for a while, the sole embodiment of thomas' queerness as something to be feared or ashamed of or disgusted by. before any of the other sides could accept this about themselves, before thomas could accept it about himself. remus is the source and the holder of thomas' most unwanted thoughts, which at one point (and while this is technically subtext it is like 1 inch away from being text) included thomas being gay. if we get any dialogue or confirmation of this in the series I will do 1000000 backflips break my neck and pass out on the floor

we need to talk about Ponyboy in chapter 10

We see right after Johnny died Ponyboy got immediately abandoned by Dallas, left to walk home alone in the middle of the night falling in and out of consciousness.

Not only that but he was covered in blood and mud. trying to convince himself that what he had just seen wasn't real that Johnny was still alive.

and he was out there all alone half conscious, bleeding, delusional and Delirious for quite literally hours.

I cannot stress this enough Ponyboy was alone out there in that state for HOURS

he was bleeding so much to the point where his brain was blocking it out and didn't notice it until he was believing all over someone's car seat

When he makes it back home he ends up a realizing that he's about to lose another friend. that Dallas is about to kill himself and he's forced to announce that as well as Johnny's death to what will soon be what is left of his gang

This is very sad and I'm sorry but your comment about how happy Tommy was at the mention of a family dinner had me thinking. What if that was his first ever real family dinner?

Oh Angel Angel... I swear i was so normal about Tommy until Lou came out with his cute Cameo videos and shared the backstory he has for him. Since then I haven't been able to watch any of his scenes and not let my inner psychologist/neglected kid make micro observations and assumptions that make me want to wrap Tommy in a warm blanket and cuddle with him, whispering to him how he is loved even if his own parents didn't show him that love.

Your hypothesis about this being Tommy's first ever real family dinner is actually so possible from what we know so far, right? And it makes me emotional just thinking about it. What is super poetic for me is that, if that's true, Bobby isn't just Buck's first healthy father figure; He is also Tommy's. I mean, that was what Tommy was looking for when he idolized that disgusting thing of a Captain, Gerard.

And what rewatching Tommy's scenes in Bobby Begins made me wonder is why did Tommy get transferred? The 118 was just finally starting to feel like a family, thanks to Bobby, so he must have felt happy and safe there. Did he choose to get transferred because he was looking for something new/was ready for a change? Or was it a mandatory transfer that he had no choice but to obey?

Because if it's the later, I will sob all over again.
