hey!

I think I'm going to take a break from this blog for a bit. Perhaps it is good to do that periodically. I can't totally leave bc i would miss tumrblt and I would miss you bc there really are a lot of good people on here. Mutuals 😊 💕

Nice despite my . Instability I guess.

There are good things on here and less good things. I don't think mindless scrolling is good for me; I get easily snatched and held by something negative and then-- I spiral downward.

So I have to learn to be more deliberate somehow. Not let social media rule me. Spend less time on it. And be able to go off when i need to bc it often doesn't help when I'm on it at night but it's hard to get off... and my mind isn't working well, and emotions are crashing.... to be able to control my self when I have less control,less capacity to decide or decide well...

Tumtblr is nice for spare time tho....

I love every season on its own merits, but I still think the end of tsv ch1 is one of the most exquisitely atmospheric pieces of horror in the whole show.

i really do hope deltarune asriel still has traces of being edgy. even in a world where he got to grow up and didn't have someone kill themself in front of him to change the trajectory of his life forever, i absolutely refuse to believe that that guy does not have issues. the popularity and the awards in his room are some kind of facade. problems and issues would find him in any universe

#i also really hope the edgy oc thing translates into deltarune #like getting mentioned as being an oc that he had or something #i think one of the most important things about asriel/flowey is that he kind of sucks #this is a positive thing #like. i feel that there is a thing that does not get acknowledged as much as it should but the only states we really see asriel as himself #in in ut is when he is very clearly In A State. we never really see him as he once was or even really get a clear picture of who he once wa #obviously we see that he was impressionable and he seemed to have a fondness for edgy anime villains and whatnot #and i think its common nowadays to accept that he must have still had flowey traits even back then just more mild #but i did always think that it was interesting that he fully helped carry that plan through #he actively helped chara gather the buttercups and never told anyone #its just a really interesting character trait i guess #i saw a post once about his ability to be this sort of social chameleon and that happens even more with flowey and its interesting #sorry this got long and less jokey than intended #anyways i hope he's still a weirdo in deltarune basically

#random personal stuff #you know...it's nice to have social interactions that you come away from feeling tired (inevitable) but ultimately refreshed #like everybody enjoyed each other's company and you both listened and talked and nobody is upset with each other and you can speak freely #the social gatherings in the last couple of days have been so different from some others recently #and it reminds me how much I appreciate my friends #they're good people and I am honored to have them in my life #rest is always in order after social stress but thoroughly positive interactions help recalibrate things too #and you can feel less alone
