I think that sometimes we collectively forget that aftg is set in the mid 2000s. So please, let's bring back the leggings, tunics, belts, wide collars, low waisted jeans and half-short sleeves we all oh so missed.

tbh i think that even unwinnable fights should be winnable. some of the BEST fights i've ever run as a dm were ones i built kill the players (in a fun way. I had some cutscenes prepped so even the loss would be a different flavour of win)- but then they were clever bastards and managed to either win the fights or pull themselves out of trouble. I think it's perfectly fine to plan for a fight that players aren't supposed to win, but you need to let them. if they can't win, they can't lose, and the meaning of that encounter is diminished. do that too many times, and they stop trusting you to give them roleplay prompts and start expecting to sit there waiting while you drive the story for them.

but if they can win... if there is always the chance to win, no matter how impossible the odds, then they ALWAYS have hope. they always get invested. they feel the big emotions of success or the big emotions of failure, and you fucking Win as a dm/roleplay prompter/lead bastard.

OKAY. So this ones loaded, the art itself is based on the album art, and Digital Silence is a general WC song to me? Associated with that ever since I tried to amv it, BUT. Blimbos posts about Spottedleaf lately has made me want to give more love to her and made me think more about her character and my interpretation of her. Though of course mine is very influenced by theirs! (Hiii Blimbo love the stuff Blimbo!!!)

At least in my mind this is a piece about misogyny, how the patriarchy affects women real and how that seeps into the fictional world and how it affects the writing of Spottedleafs character. Who really is she aside from her death, trauma, and love?

But that's just me, at the end of the day, a little bit unfortunately this is a warrior cats fanart for a spotify art challenge, not my big hit piece. Hope y'all enjoy eitherway

so. there's pokemon game called infinite fusions. and a couple of the poketubers i like are doing a soul link of it.

I really want to get into Unicorn Overlord because that prologue slaps and it sounds like an interesting gameplay experience

the designs are just...

Camel toes, battle thongs and bouncing boobies that would straight up be from some of the worst FEH alts, furry baits (forget the sniddies, we have foxtits and... owl boobs...) and leg art that would make Duo!Doro look tame in comparaison.

Musing in the bus about how men always think they know more about video games than me even after I mention I've got both a career and a postgrad degree in Game Design since 2009 and that games is my major scholarly research area.

They either quiz me, mansplain games or mechanics that I've known of since they were in grade school, or look condescendingly at me whenever I don't give them whatever they consider a "good" answer about the field.

I usually smile and deadpan "yeah, of course I know that. I've worked in/done/written about it", complementing with real examples.

But having to prove myself just because I'm a GirL remains super demeaning and I've seen every kind of man - from the grossest to the nicest and gentlest - doing that.

Men don't see women like people when they feel women don't belong somewhere etc
