"Freedom Farts." From the Book of Sirach, "The Manner of the Fern" 23: 1-6.

Chapter 23 begins with an invocation, employing God for control of over one's adversaries. Adversaries are the opposite of the kings, queens, captains, army man soldiers, etc.

Adversaries are 1065, א'סה‎ ‎, as'a, "the Ace of Sorrows." As'a means "to cause suffering that wasn't there before. Something new."

Sirach warns "do not let yourself fall prey to the multiplication of errors. Do not sin, not even once." Just as the Torah is a stochastic progression of the merits God can teach us if we study it, so the ego and all shameful selfish passions can multiply and teach us how to be infernal devils. Just as a ball rolling down the stairs will start to bounce and go faster and faster as it exhausts its potential energy, the mind of a diabolic will leave the proximity of heaven if it decides to be willful towards God even once.

To avoid this, Sirach prays:

23 O Lord, Father and Master of my life,     do not abandon me to their designs,     and do not let me fall among them! 2 Who will set whips over my thoughts     and the discipline of wisdom over my mind, so as not to spare me in my errors     and not overlook my[a] sins? 3 Otherwise my mistakes may be multiplied,     and my sins may abound, and I may fall before my adversaries,     and my enemy may rejoice over me.[b] 4 O Lord, Father and God of my life,     do not give me haughty eyes, 5     and remove desire from me. 6 Let neither gluttony nor lust overcome me,     and do not give me over to shameless passion.

The Book of Job speaks of the discipline needed to overcome adversity and continually purify the mind. The secret is not endurance, but a vision. One does not or should not climb out of a hole in life and jump into another. The Self must not bound and rebound, only ascend. Read this:

v. 2: Who will whip my thoughts? The Number is 11457, יאד‎הז‎ ‎yad haz, "you will be pushed." "Do not get trapped" that is how one is whipped.

v. 3: Otherwise my sins may be multiplied. Sins are a stochastic regression from the Self. Observe:

The verb גדר (gadar) means to wall up; to build a wall to separate innies from outies, and to check any movement between the two. Curiously, this verb is used predominantly in a figurative sense, i.e. to describe a containment of thoughts, deeds, intentions or developments.

Contrarily, the nouns גדר (gader), גדרה (gedera) and גדרת (gederet) all describe the item built and refer predominantly to literal walls and enclosures such as sheepfolds.

v. 6: Let neither gluttony nor lust overcome me,  and do not give me over to shameless passion. The Number is 5536, ההגו, hego, "the ego."

The Torah says the ego must be forced to serve God in the manners in which it states. Basic necesseties, work, food, water, exercise, shelter, income, etc. these are always more than enough. All effort must be applied to the basics alone. The rest of the benefits of human life are accumulated according to one's merits. If one is corrupt and accumulates merits, God will eventually take them away by raising their price.
