The Rest is History have several series on the rise of the Third Reich regime in the 1930s. The presenters do point out the many dissimilarities with MAGA, but it’s so worth studying the rise of Hitler as a democratically elected leader and the focus on making Germany great again by harking back to the Second Reich, and even to Rome.

The blatant dumb racism of ICE targeting First Nations - of FN literally having to carry their identity papers… like is anyone pretending we’re not talking about white supremacy anymore?

It reminds me of the German WWI veterans who were Jewish and refused to leave Germany - where else would they go? How could they leave the country for which they’d fought WWI, for which their friends and family had fought and died?
