So y'all know that I am morally opposed to the gabnath ship (and Gabriel in general) but oh my god it's such a FASCINATING dynamic to study.

Right so I do not and have never in any way shipped these two but this would have been a FANTASTIC moment to put in there bc it's a reminder of so many other things, like how Nathalie was actively involved in Gabriel's plans, how much he began to care for her, how close they were - that they weren't always such bitter enemies. A reminder that Gabriel is human and that his obsession with resurrecting Emilie and his refusal to move on from her is (from what we can see) mostly just an excuse to get hold of the Miraculous. I want to see how things would have played out after this - would Nathalie have been more hesitant to give up any information, knowing that Gabriel wasn't a total monster? Would Gabriel have been more easy to sway in the final battle, would he have been more easily distracted? Idk but it would have added so much weight to the whole battle, to the episode, to everything that had happened prior to this and to the final scenes of the episode. I want to see this. Hate the ship but I'd spend so long analysing this scene if it was there.

i still feel robbed. gabriel and nathalie should have at least had one (1) kiss. even if it was on the forehead. 😭😭😭

Rewatching miraculous has been so fun. I say rewatching but I actually remember a lot of episodes since I fell off in the middle of s4, so I'm just rewatching episodes I've forgotten and I made it back quickly to s4.

But I did forget how much I love Nathalie. I remember when I first watched mlb I kinda supported gabnath just cause I liked her being a mom to Adrien. But now it's so fucking funny how much she does not care for Gab. I support single mom Nathalie so much.
