Honestly, the more I think about Jinx's ending, the more I like it.

If we've learned anything throughout the series, Jinx always lived for other people. For Vi, for Silco, for Isha, for anyone who she could attach to, but then all the people she could get attached to were either dead or clearly moved on. Even the much healthier Jinx we see in episode seven is attached only to her friends, thinking of them first, until she hopefully learns that she should take time to live for herself - and that's exactly what our Jinx learns as well.

Of course, before that, she wanted to die, mostly because she needed so badly to just have a goddamn say in something that depended on nobody else. Suicide was the one thing that only she could control, yet somehow, even that with taken away by Ekko. Her only way out was to leave everything behind. It came with the benefit of giving her sister eventual peace of mind, along with Ekko, who lets her drift away into the night sky on a quiet flame.

Finally, Jinx is living only for herself, made even more evident by the brilliant episode one connection many others have already pointed out - Jinx told us she was going to ride one of the airships one day at the very start, a declaration of her desire to do something bold and only out of her own desires, and now? Now, she gets to live a life by that principal she's finally accepted is what she needs most. I'm so fucking happy for her.
