mine is bb vs dh actually lol!!!!! ofc canon’s btch prefers the more canon stages lol but i also really love how they handled dh’s emotional beats

like!!!!! the rosho vs ichiro as produced by sasara is top tier stage moments!!!!! sasara revealing that rei was on his team and the disbelief on ichiro’s face???? and the way ichiro hit him with that yung thug look when sasara started pry???? sasara being that asshole and setting up the entire fight, cheering on rosho like his personal cheerleader???? rosho demanding (ichiro) to stop look acting like he’s just some side piece/stepping stone to sasara and that’s when ichiro properly looked at rosho, impressed as hell and that’s when their true battle started???? except sasara, the orchestrator may i remind you, could see both rosho and ichiro genuinely getting into it for the thrill of a good battle so he put a stop to it???? AND ROSHO FINALLY CALLING SASARA OUT ON HIS BULLSHIT????? AND SASARA TRIED TO APOLOGISE BUT ROSHO WASNT HAVING IT AND STORMED OFF????? i feel like fav actor implies i cared/knew of any of these actors before hypstage which would be very false lmao. but akira-san was a real one and fck nelke for taking his ichiro away from us, ayukawa-san was so adorable and friendly and it made his jakurai genuinely adorkable and fck nelke for making him cry, and hirono-san i will not shut up about if you get me started and fck nelke genuinely 😌

uhhh i think it’s a toss up between north bastard and d4. i love kazu so much y’all don’t even know lmao he’s ichiro’s very own unami; childhood friend who loves him very dearly (*grips heart* i…..icchan….) but has a complicated family situation that drives him to do bad things and he does his best to make sure ichiro stays out of his way bc he doesn’t want to hurt him by doing said bad things but ichiro is stronger than that stronger than him and it makes kazu want to step up so he can stand on the same stage as ichiro again AUUUUUUUUUUUGH KAZUUUUUUU—

this is completely my fault but i watched all the rep lives except dh’s SFHDASGJKDAAGHJFS gomen 😭😭😭😭😭 my favourite ones were bb for its short story, bat for the performances and mtr for all around best lol. everyone’s best songs came out from the rep lives tho i hope y’all know lol

i remember loading up the mtr stream and i could tell even from being behind the screen the energy in that venue was kinda crazy and the actors were all feeding off of it which gave us some really fantastic performances lol. also 😭😭😭😭 dohifu playing around with jakurai in an adlib scene where ayukawa thru sensei confessed it’d been a very long time since someone goofed off with him like that and he could barely get the sentence out bc he was trying to not laugh and stay in character uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu…………

it’s so hard talking about hirono kuukou without feeling like i’ll explode the moment i start lol but his energy levels reaching a frenzied peak where he shouted NAGOYAAAAAAAAAAA until he blacked out mid song kinda leaves an impression on you and how much he loved the role lol

that bb story was so funny lmao hey siri play ‘can’t keep it cool’ by takano akira for how badly ichiro panicked at the thought saburo got a girlfriend and how he roped jiro into pretending he’s the princess of aoyama so he could practice leaving a good impression on her (even tho saburo DID NOT get a girlfriend and quite literally broke down into tears bc his brothers are stupid and it overstimulated tf out of him lol)

KAZUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU and my fav song is actually buster bros vs mad trigger crew vs north bastard lol. idk like, that first stage was incredible for a lot of reasons and one of those was showing how masterful the stage is juggling storylines and character beats, depicting the rap battles and all to some banger music

i don’t revisit this play much lol but i love the scene where jyushi gets separated from kuukou after they raid fragrance and jyushi has his very own shinjuku meltdown LOL. i also really liked kuukou seeing the error of his ways and in order to fix them, he decides to act like the villain he very well could be lol but jyushi the goober wrecks that vibe and hits him with the funniest kuukou impersonation LOL

i liked new encounter!!!! i haven’t rewatched it since my first few initial watch thrus tho so i can’t remember the music all that well save for the OI OI OI parts in bat’s song and the way nakanishi-san gave it his all to fill the hole hirono kuukou left behind is commendable!!!! but the mtc actors kinda stole the show lol that samajuto cigarette kiss??? the way uehara samatoki beckoned juto over with a grunt and the tilt of his head so he could light em up???? samariou bonding in a different way from canon but hits even harder????

ik it was everyone’s first stage back and it kinda showed but there were plenty of moments that made you think ‘oh they still got it actually’ lol

YEAH and i’m most curious about kuukou’s writing as y’know, your local kuukou enthusiast and stalker lol. seven divisions is a lot tho, so i hope there’s focus!!! they know who they want to challenge and they pull thru on it while still feeling like there is enough pie for everyone lol

i’m pretty sure i’ve watched at least one stream for each show except track 5 (i was off the grid) and dh rep live (IM SORRY) i don’t plan to go to jp to watch one either, unless these new gen actors somehow blow my mind in ways the legends era never did. but that’s a tall order bc the legends era defined so much of the characters despite not being canon. it was fun seeing the way the stage grew and how the actors grew into the characters and how it kept evolving until that era’s end

2019 hypmic’s clowned on the stage upon initial announcement bc what story could they possibly tell. well lmao!!!!! track 1 set the story straight and that’s when i knew the stage had magic 😭😭😭😭

not really lol. i own all the dvds in season 1 and track 5 but none of season 2 (which is tragic bc i enjoyed season 2 far more 😭😭😭). i did splurge a little after bop2023 bc i believe in retail therapy lol and i care about them so much 🥺🥺🥺

i follow hirono-san wherever i can lol he’ll always be a kuukou and therefore i’ll support him 😌 i also poke around the nmcd actors works and maybe bc he’s such good friends with hirono-san, i often see fukuzawa yuu in my media too lol (he dropped a killer ep recently by the way outside of his usual group y’all should check it out)

(and watch nanashi while you’re at it it’s peak fiction lol)

i wonder lol!!!! i would have loved a leaders play to balance out having a tdd play in the legends era and ig i can still ride with one now!!!! but where canon’s at with its story makes me grateful the stage rebooted bc i personally couldn’t have seen how the stage would have adapted post 2nd drb stuff with its notable lack of women and the division beef resolving itself

maybe we can get the honobono hifumi doppo dynamic in stage tho!!!! get a proper nemu and samatoki duet!!!! lol do me a solid and have samatoki and ichijiku fight over nemu we got possibilities now with proper women

that’s a great question lol and one i don’t think i have an answer for. like the stage thrives in a state of non-canonicity but it drives me insane that there’s a subsection of hypmic fans who look at stage kuukou and don’t see how self-immolating he can be for others and have no reason to suspect he is. he’s the coolest and most shallow version of kuukou but that’s their canon and i genuinely hate it lmao

i’m a little partial to these quasi canon stories tho!!!! like i don’t think we would have ever seen nemu rise to her current rank without the stage so it’s neat to see the stage get utilised in that way. i’m personally interested in worldbuilding details no one else would be unless they were balls deep with no plans to pull out lol so the stage can keep surprising me there

came back here on tumblr after literal years just for gomens 2 stuff and i got a notif from you. I feel happy seeing your blog again,, so its so surprising for me that you disliked s2, purely just bc youre someone i consider as monumental to the entire fandom bc of your loyalty pre-TV era. so it's intriguing to know your thoughts abt the tv version.

i read your points and DAMN you reminded me of the stuff i didnt like back in s1 that I FORGOT bc so many years have passed since i watched + read the series. I forgot how much I loved bastard, asshole Aziraphale. TV him is characterized as 100% good, better than heaven dude which isn't bad.. and hes very fluffy and adorable. But i always liked the difference between that and crowley being a demon and yet nice. i always missed him calling him "my dear" too. If theyre gonna make them lovey dovey in TV, make him call him my dear damn it!!

As a book fan too, i personally loved s2. But reading your points made me realize it wasnt completely perfect so I respect your side. I do hope s3 turns out to be better than our expectations so you can tune back to it again. I just want you to have more content that you can enjoy even if it's completely new stuff. I understand the feeling so bad of having new stuff but being unable to enjoy it (a diff show for me). Makes you wonder what kind of plot he and Terry originally planned for all this fanservicey stuff to happen. I agree about the book part too, Crowley would never throw those around! The part with them meeting as angels, honestly I think it wouldve been better if they just didn't remember it so they wouldn't ruin their first meeting in the book. It would've been fine as a throwaway like "they met but don't remember."

With the finale,, hmmm I think TV!Azira's characterization def plays a part in why he did it. TV!him screams as someone who is still insecure about being an angel and losing his privileges. So he took the only opportunity he could to change heaven so he and Crowley could live in peace, after seeing Gabriel who is alr so powerful, be cast away after that decision. I'm curious though, how would you think book!him would think in this decision?? With an Armageddon 2 coming up again I can't imagine of anything else the two of them could do to fight it again w/o an influence in higher power.

So let's say that Metatron directly went to him after everything had happened and Gabriel had already ran off and offered him the position (with an offer he can't refuse) -- I think he would have to accept on the surface, and then he would immediately go to Crowley to try to work their way out of it/figure out a way to keep the position but still slacks off all the time like he's always done 😂😂

Here it is;

Story Idea:

BFU*Good Omens, but make it scary.

The Unsolved Crew are trying to return to the airport after a successful hunt in London. Shane suggests they follow a scenic route of no discernible town. They somehow find themselves in a town that is not on the GPS maps with weird vibes and, surprise surprise, their rental breaks down. They have all watched enough horror thrillers to know all the cliché-est plot points. What lives in Devil's Dyke? Are the Them serial killers? Is Warlock going to betray them? Shane and TJ are probably going to die. But most importantly; What does it all have to do with Ryan?

-This is Shyan centric. On their way back to the airport, Shane suggests the crew take a scenic route down South Downs on their way back from London with the promise of a beautiful lake. The London shoots had been rife with sexual tension, and Shane does not want the moment to end.

-They find themselves driving into a town instead, suburbania and quaint. The townsfolk frown at them as they pass by. RP Tyler straddles his barking poodle. They obviously don't like newcomers.

-The rental breaks down. The cliche Ness starts to dawn on them

-"Hahaha, next we'll find out this place doesn't have line!"

-There is no line. They all glare at Mark.

-In a fit of nervousness, Ryan starts offline vlogging. Shane suggests they go into town to ask for someone to call the two service and find someplace with line. Surely SOMEONE will recognize them.

-But strangers look away and walk faster away when they approach. Whoever they manage to start scowling or fidgeting, and none of them seems to recognize the duo. Some even claim to know only faintly of YouTube. It's getting unreal. They do not seem to be joking, and get only more upset whenever the Crew tries to convince or tell them otherwise. It is finally pushing dusk. The Crew stops by a beautiful park. There is no one around, but a young boy, who has a look in his eyes they find relief in: recognition.

-His name is Warlock Dowling, and he showed them a copy of his birth certificate to prove it, claiming that it happens often enough that he has to resort doing so. It's so fucking cliche it hurts. Ryan hates this movie already.

-But Warlock is the son of an American Ambassador who lives in the UK, and thus, likely the only child who seems to recognize them and their YouTube Channel. He is not a big fan, but it's a whole site better than literally everyone else. South Downs is a bedtime story, he claims. It's perfect in the way all the towns in children storybooks are perfect. Nobody plays the internet in a storybook town. It is not a prank. Devon is skeptical.

-Warlock invites them to go to the Ambassador's house a little ways down the airbase near the back of the town, (what kind of horror path will they take? Thought Ryan. Both feel like equally bad ideas.) but they decide to go tomorrow. He directs them to a bed and breakfast instead. All the rooms look the same. The lady barely looks up as she hands them their keys. There is electricity in the rooms, meaning they could charge their appliances. For naught of anything better to do, they are filming this entire experience. They somehow convince themselves that Shane is going to die because Ryan is evidently the Protagonist, and since Shane is his Best Friend, he is either going to betray them or die in a heroic act sacrificing himself for Ryan. In a fit of panic, Ryan tells Shane he has a crush on him. Which is great and sweet and all, but now REALLY seals the deal in because now Shane is a love interest instead. Hasnt Ryan heard of the bury your Gays trope?

-"I knew you guys were gonna end up gay" "what why." "they have to kill SOMEONE off and none of us are black and Ryan s the protagonist."

-They don't find Warlock in the park the next day, and are forced to look for him themselves. Walking of course. They find out about the satanic nunnery that caught on fire on a cafe because the waitress explains that they have to pass through that and the abandoned airbase in the back of the town to get to the villa on foot. They all sigh in exhausted manner, not much in the mood for dying.

-Trudge they do anyway. Nowhere out but through.

-The old satanic nunnery is....not abandoned

-They rush inside and find that it is a company teamwork support organization, and they give out paintball sessions. There is electricity. There is a line, even if the company wasnt currently in season. They try to find a worker.

-They find her. Sister Mary is haggard and busy running an entire company and booking sessions all by herself. She is in turns dismissive and annoyed to moderately tolerant....up until she learns of Ryan's name

-She suddenly wants nothing to do with any of them, practically shoving them out her door and face sheet white, mumbling about being busy and how it wasn't personal. The door slams in their faces. Ryan looks like he is about to cry. Shane snaps.

-He breaks the door down, to the shouts of surprise from the rest of the crew, and announces, with the loud, arrogant nonchalance of a white man, that he is not going to budge until she tells them everything they want to know about Lower Tadfield, the South Downs and yknow the fuck what? Neither will Ryan. The rest of the Crew follow his example and dig their heels in, pretending to film her for good measure. They are counting on the fact that she does not have security, and that even if she calls the cops on them, the building is far too suburbania to find very quickly. Mary looks absolutely terrified, and refuses to look Ryan in the eye. She eventually gives in, on the account that they will soon leave immediately.

-The find out that she was an ex convent of the Chattering Order of St. Berryl's, a satanic nunnery. She came back because she had been born here, and oddly enough, the convent meant something to her. A good dozen of the Satanists died due to a lightning storm catching the nunnery on fire the night two babies had been born, and three left through the gates. She's never been afraid of Lower Tadfield. Nothing ever happens here. They don't buy it, but it's apparent she believes what she is saying.

-They demand to use the present line to call for another rental, cancel their airport tickets, etcetera etcetera, emphasizing that they are excited about leaving just as much as she does. With this promise, she allows them to do so.

--They manage to get their raw footage to Cloud and cancel their tickets but just as they are about to call for a new car, the lights start flickering. The building rumbles. Mary looks straight at Ryan and tells them to run. They grab each other s hands and does so.

-There halfway down the road when TJ yelps, and Devon announces they are being chased by something. They decide to run into the woods down further down south to lose it.

-It is dusk. Nobody is happy. At least everyone is alive though, which is something. Ryan remarks that the chase scenes in the movies are exactly as tiring as they make it out to be.

-Mark hears running water, and the Crew finds an occupied cottage on the shoreline of the sea. Their sighs are loud; both relieved and annoyed. Mark starts chanting/praying that they are not serial killers. Shane announces that everyone must be ready to leave at a moments notice, and sleep in the woods of they must, to everyone's agreement.

-The man who opens the door wears glasses and low slung jeans, eyebrow raised rudely. His husband, blonde and plump, tells him to let them come in, and that it is nearly dinner. They are gracious hosts-old enough to be someone's grandparents. Cute and domestic as well. Shane goes strangely quiet when the couple dances in the living room, and Ryan chalks it up to their romantic relationship, for which they share talks. There are unoccupied rooms they could bunk in-five; each of them reserved for the couple's godkids. Despite getting their own rooms, Ryan cuddles with Shane. He is oddly tense, at least until they start making out.

-Ryan wakes at night to voices in his ear, and decides to get a glass of something to drink. Shane is out cold. He finds TJ in the kitchen, looking at his phone. It is a picture of his family-Kate and their daughter. This is hugely concerning, as it is a surefire telltale that TJ might not make it. Ryan promises him they'll get back home. TJ clasps him on the back and tells him not to make promises he can't keep.

-Shane wakes the crew at 4 am and tells them, quietly, to pack up and leave for town. He had found a map, and determined the way to navigate. They are confused but obliging. They do not wake their hosts-in fact, Shane seems to want to make sure they leave without their knowledge. They find their way back into Tadfield by 8.30 am, and it is only as they are having bfast that Shane tells them that there is no tech but the radio-which isn't plugged in. The water runs, but the pipes underneath the sink are not attached to anything. Crowley does not eat, and his eyes were....weird. Too many red flags. And as he searched the room for maps before Ryan came into his room the night before, he had found a crumpled poker card of the Antichrist, and Devon admits to finding one of War, a horseman of the Apocalypse, in hers. Mark taps his fork anxiously, and his eyes spell out what they all could tell. The climax is soon.

- It is not until Ryan walks and spots a bespectacled child of Warlocks age that he realizes he has barely seen any children in this town, and suggests that they follow him to ask whether he knew Warlock. The rest of the crew return to the BnB for some well deserved rest, but Shane and Ryan pursues the kid....into the forest.

-They lose him until HE found THEM. He immediately recognizes Ryan, who had to introduce his best friend Shane. Two other kids appear from between the trees. One of them, a girl, has a large wooden sword. They are surrounded. Shane grips Ryans hand, and asks, half jokingly, is they are serial killers, and if they are intending to kill him.

-The Them claims that it happened like, one time, and they do not plan to kill Shane, but their smile looks too wide to be genuine, like they are sharing a personal joke. The boys start walking away. The Them follows. Ryan asks if they know Warlock. They stop, sharing looks. Brian asks how they met Warlock. Ryan refuses to tell them . The kids get defensive, the way 13 year olds tend to get when they are about to justify doing a notable offense, like staying awake past bedtime The wind picks up, and the kids get visibly relieved. Brian tells them that Adam is coming, in a way that makes them feel like they definitely do not want to meet Adam. They scram it.

-They are being chased again. This time, when Ryan looks back, he sees what looks like a dog but isn't-like something is badly wearing the skin of a dog, like it has too many limbs to fit into four legs, a slobbering maw and hellfire eyes.

-They manage to leave the woods, and almost get hit by a three wheeled blue car. Shane bangs on the door and it opens for them, and Ryan shouts at them to step on it. It is only when they get to a quaint little cottage at the other end of the town do they acknowledge their saviours-a bespectacled, brown skinned woman and a jittery boyfriend.

-The woman is American. She recognizes them immediately, and says that she is a huge fan of True Crime. It is the most mundane , normal conversation they have for all of 2 days. They enter Jasmine Cottage. Shane slumps.

-there is a horseshoe above the door, and runes etched into the wood. The smell of incense burns strongly, and a redlined conspiracy board in a corner of the kitchen.

-The woman calls herself a professional occultist. A witch, basically. Which is...fine. She is at least honest and blasè about it, which made someone in this godforsaken town at least. Shane spots a picture of the Antichrist on her pinup board, the same one as seen in the poker card he's found in AziCrow's cottage. Anathema notices, and admits that it's complicated. They are confused, angry and terrified, and mentions their encounter with Adam, and everything else they'd had to suffer through as they are stuck in the village. Her facial emotions change from shock, to calculating, to confused, to skeptical, before finally ending In blank. She claims that it is very unlike Adam, as he usually does not go about scaring people from out of the village. He had welcomed her in just fine, and the town had followed short after. Shane asks about the Antichrist and Horsepeople symbolism. She waves that one away, claiming how it wasn't important and that 'They wouldn't believe her anyway.' She offers Meet to drive them back to their Inn, and they accept.

-They get back to the village; as they open the door to their rooms, knowing that the rest of the Crew is waiting for them, Warlock is also there. He takes a single look at them, and raises an eyebrow. They tell him what happened. Warlock frowns. Tells them the only reason they'd been hounded In such a way if Adam wants something from them, and TJ puts his face into their hands.

-They ask if they should lock the door. Warlock tells them not to bother-it won't stop him anyway. Devon asks the possibility of leaving this very night. Warlock shakes his head, but looks contemplating.

-That night, Shane gets kidnapped.

-Ryan doesn't see the culprit, but something tells him it's the Them, and the Hound, and Adam. He runs into the woods. The night is cold and still, but the trees shake like they could be alive. Ryan yells angrily into the void, asking Adam what is it that he wanted, that it's him they actually want, to let Ryan go. He faces the Hound, a slobbering, monstrous nightmare. Ryan thinks he is going to die. There is a boy sitting in a dilipidated throne above a chalk pit with blood red eyes.

-Two headlights pierce through the gloom. The trees still. The hound sits, and Crowley steps out if the Bentley.

-Aziraphale is in the car. Warlock peers over his shoulder. Crowley stomps over and tells Adam to come down-that his game is over, and it stopped being funny for quite some time. Shane stumbles out of the woods, dazed and terrified, and Ryan traps him into an embrace.

-After some chastising Adam admits that he's made a bet with Greasy Johnson in school that Demons and Ghosts are real, and that the Them had managed to convince him that it lives in the woods. He had not believed them, and made them bet that if it was really haunted, Paranormal Investigators would come and make a whole documentary about it. Warlock had showed him a few episodes of BFU, and Adam thought it perfect.

-Crowley scolds him, telling him against manipulating and keeping the Crew here against their will, and Adam looks appropriately chastened. Dawn breaks. The crew emerges from the Inn in a state of panic. Crowley pat's the van twice and it comes to life.

-Someone asked Crowley if the kids really HAD killed people. Crowley waves it away, claiming that it isn't important. In the light of morning, the kids and the dog almost looks normal.

- They decide not to prod any further. Aziraphale apologizes one last time, and tells the that they are welcome in Tadfield if they choose to come again. Ryan and Shane emphasizes that they absolutely will not, ever. Aziraphale nods like he understands. They pack the equipment and leaves the town, possibly England, forever.

-In a few days time, Adam gets an email- a video titled The Horrors of Hogsback Woods, and he grins cheekily to himself.

Just to be absolutely clear from your post on antisemitic caricatures in relation to Crowley - while it IS okay to to draw him with red hair and horns (because he is a demon) artists should be extremely aware that doing this + adding a hooked or exaggerated nose is, intentionally or not, contributing to a racist stereotype correct? Sorry I just don’t want to accidentally misinterpret your words!

its totally okay for asking for clarification ! my original post wasnt worded in the best way possible, which is why im adding an amendment to it to clarify further what i meant. but yeah ! thats exactly what i was saying ! it is okay to draw him with these characteristics, because they are his canon (tv) design, but be careful while doing it. be aware of the implications, and if a jewish fan comes to you and says that your design for crowley is antisemitic, then listen to them !

Hello! So I know Nori is MFS' music producer but what does he actually do? I'm not entirely familiar with the technicalities of the music industry (hell, i dont even know the difference between an arranger and composer) and I tried the magic wizard otherwise known as google and it said music producers can have a variety of parts they play in a project so that wasnt very helpful or specific. Has MFS ever clarified how Nori helps them? I know he recruited members, especially Hiro and Teru. Thanks!

Google is right. A “Producer” can play various roles depending on the situation. 

Producer

Generally the person who oversees the overall management and runnings of a project till the final outcome. 

NORIHIRO OTANI

In Nori’s case, he can best be described as the guy who turned MY FIRST STORY from an idea into a reality and coordinates the overall management of the band. This includes financing, logistics, human resource, merchandising, marketing, publicity etc.

The one thing Nori doesn’t touch or probably very minimally, as far as I know, is the music. MFS members are fully responsible for that. At least based on what I understand from their older interviews.

It doesn’t mean that MFS was manufactured. Nori expressed a keen interest to do a band together when he met Sho and liked the music Sho was making. But as Sho said in Zenshin Documentary, Nori was more interested in the band management side. Not being a musician.

I will outline some of his major functions. This could be lengthy but who knows some of you might want to try a career in artists’ management, eh 😃?

1. Financing

He was responsible to source for the money needed to launch the band in the beginning. Since he was barely out of university himself with not much to his name, he pitched the idea to none other than the one who could i.e GEN who was at the helm of Subciety clothing label at the time.

Besides GEN starting INTACT Records for this purpose, I also think MFS had to give up some publishing rights to their earlier songs to bigger companies in exchange for the financial support. Don’t take my words totally as I could be wrong here but TV ASAHI Music Co. Ltd* does hold a part of the copyrights to the first TWO albums. MFS started to hold full copyrights starting only from the 3rd CD 最終回STORY.

Being an indie band allows MFS to retain most of the royalties to themselves. STORYTELLER Fan Club is not exactly just a sweet secret space for exclusive fans BUT a fan-supported crowd-funding is what it really is. I am sure Nori is the mastermind behind this as well.

2. Logistics

Arrangement for travels, accommodation, transportation and the crew as well. The paperwork, who does this and that and dealings with booking agents/promoters/venues. Nori may not do all these himself but he can appoint people to handle these under his directions. MFS works closely with JMS for this and the current MFS Tour Manager as I’m writing this is Yuuki Tanimura (iTONY Entertainment which is a JMS subsidiary).

Though I’m sure they went as buddies to Australia but I’m not surprised if Tanimura handled the travel matters 🤔

3. Human Resource

Salaries, bonus (if any), insurances, taxes among others. Visas & permits for overseas performances. All these not just for band members but also whoever the crew they employ for any project.

4. Merchandising

Besides discussing with the band members on concepts and designs, Nori would be the one arranging for those items to be manufactured and delivered by the suppliers.　In Nori’s case, he has experienced people like GEN and Kentaro Suzuki a.k.a KTR who know the ins & outs of the industry to show him the rope 😄.

Those who are STORTELLER members can also read Nori’s blog post explaining the decision to come up with Maifasu-kun 2.0 as well. He then set up an online shop at the Official Goods Store for MFS.

5. Marketing & Publicity

MFS basically has been engaging JMS for promotions & distributions from the start BUT when it comes to maximizing what the band can make from every project, you can bet Nori is behind it. 

For examples:

i. Those endless Limited Editions & bonuses that make hardcore fans buy 6 copies of the same CD 😱😂! 

ii. Also those extras at the Tour Finals. With MFS name being “stamped” on everything from food stalls to fun fair games. I honestly think Nori learned this from watching HYDE organizing the Halloween Party 🤔.

All in all, Nori is also the one or at least one of those in the team responsible for turning MFS into the money-making juggernaut that they are now.

How much power/influence does Nori have over MFS?

Well, when MFS dedicated an entire encore of their Tour Final for him to propose to his girlfriend and subsequently deprived the fans of the 3-song performance from the DVD to keep his privacy, then you can pretty much draw your own conclusions there. BIG!

Sorry Nori, I’m still so bummed about the Encore from MMA getting cut out. Especially when watching Teru’s speech and hearing him say, “It has only been THREE songs so far. We have TWENTY MORE songs coming!“. Then we got only SEVENTEEN more songs. The rest would be the sounds of my heart breaking 😭💔.

SHO TSUCHIYA ~ The Sound Producer

Nori being called “MFS Producer” is NOT to be confused with the person at the control console during recording. The band leader Sho Tsuchiya has always been that person from the start. 

However, before his hiatus, the music production credit was usually listed as “produced by MY FIRST STORY”. After his hiatus, they have started listing it with “Sound Producer : Sho Tsuchiya”.

Here is an old photo from the early days of MFS. Look at Sho being hard at work with Nori by his side 😊. The one sleeping is Hiro, still in his school uniform 😃.

GEN ~ Executive Producer

To understand why this man has always been listed in the credits that way, please refer to the “Financing” part about Nori. At the time, GEN was the business savvy one who had the means and capacity to start a record company. He’s responsible for the payrolls of some MFS staff since they are employed under INTACT Records. To the fans, we like to refer to GEN as The Boss 😁.

How I feel about this character: I love him. I do. He’s problematic but I love him. He’s dramatic and scared and so very human. I wish he wasn’t so set on his goal to be erased and I feel like him not changing his mind based on alllllllll the things that he went through, all the self-discoveries, all the challenges he overcame both by himself and with Miharu, and how he still was like “MEH. JUST ERASE ME, MIHARU. I KNOW YOU LOVE ME AND WANT A FUTURE TOGETHER AND I KNOW THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT ME AND WANT ME AROUND AND TBH I DO TOO BUT I RUINED SO MANY THINGS” *no he didn’t* “SO I NEED TO BE ERASED SO YOU WON’T EVER BE MISERABLE WITH MY DEATH I NEED TO ATONE TO MY. BIRTH.” ??????? UM NO apologies but he didn’t have to do that ??? I HAVE FEELS, but logical ones I hope. I feel like. It was bad storytelling. In real life (not like it’s possible but I digress) I think I’d be a lil bit more readily understanding, but from a writer’s perspective, to put your reader through that entire adventure with him and grow with him and learn so much about him and just have him not grow enough to see what Miharu saw in him (OUR MAIN PROTAG WHO WE SEE EVERYTHING FROM AND HOPEFULLY LEARNED TO LOVE THAT DYING BOY WITH ALL OUR HEARTS) was kind of the the biggest let down. Miharu had all the power and more to become happy, to make Yoite happy too, Yukimi, everyone. But Yoite couldn’t let it go and forced Miharu to find happiness elsewhere. Put everyone through that fuckton of pain just so Yoite wouldn’t be in pain himself. Which I get. I know I’m rambling. He has every right to be selfish (EVEN IF ITS NOT ENTIRELY SELFISH) after what he went through for his life since childhood. Like I said though, I just think it was bad writing and would have been more satisfying of a story had. It not done. That.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: AHA ANYWAY. shoving aside all physical properties of characters, I only ship Miharu and Yoite although I do ship Miharu with Yoite’s brother TOO but that’s not. What this is abo- YEAH.

At this rate, she's going to beat the scouts out of Wall Rose.

She was sitting on one of the edge tables in the local bar, a small place in the closest city to Trost that had a gate leading out into the titan-infested Maria wilds. The scouts were in their base nearby, she'd heard, but they'd been in there preparing for days now, and Annie was fed up with waiting for them to leave. She was using her goddamn vacation days for this.

But she couldn't shirk this mission. She had a goal to reach, and that goal was Eren Jaeger. Ultimately, anyway. Annie slipped upstairs, nobody payed her much notice in her Garrison-embroidered cloak that she had kidnapped off one of the wall-tenders in the city. 

She had stopped by the base earlier to check on them, and do some... post-trost cleanup, she supposed. No doubt they'd have them all in for checks soon. Not her problem. She had a plan.

She just hoped she hadn't been spotted.

So i’ve been drawing Crowley with a pointy and slightly big nose long before the tv show, when i just read the book. Personally i don’t think david has a big nose or anything. And i’m sure that people who draw Crowley’s nose a bit exagerated are doing it out of stylistic choices/headcanon ideas. My art and other people’s art is not supposed to be antisemitic. Heck it’s the first time i hear about this in the gomens fandom so i think it’s also a matter of perspective

just because youve been drawing crowley with a pointy and slightly big nose from before the tv show came out, you should maybe re-examine why you gave the evil, reptilian character a physical trait that is very easily associated with antisemitism. 

if you read the post, you could see that i wasnt accusing the artists of drawing crowley with an antisemitic intention. its accidental, because those could be stylistic choices or headcanon ideas! but they should re-evaluate why they’ve made those choices. 

also i promise you this is not a brand new discussion topic that im the only person talking about. im in the good ominyans server, which is specifically only for jewish fans of gomens, and its been a conversation topic for a while. i will take credit for bringing the conversation towards the main circle of the group, but that doesnt mean the conversation hasnt been there. also, my original post was made over a week ago. this wasnt just pulled out of thin air my man.

you should maybe reevaluate why your arguing with a jewish person, whos studying judaism in college, about what is and isnt antisemitic, especially if youre not jewish.
