NATSUKI SEBA GENERAL HEADCANONS ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ
I have some headcanons of Natsuki Seba from Sakamoto Days, though it feels improper to upload these as "permanent" posts because my account primarily focuses on art 😅. I almost reached the latest chapter of Sakamoto Days and these are the headcanons I strongly feel for him as a character, people may view him differently from my opinions :)
[GAMER] Natsuki obviously has hyperfixations on weapons, I feel like he would use his free time sketching up designs, as well as researching. Though, of course, every weapon has inspirations. Natsuki is the type to play games that uses unique weapons (I am not that big of a gamer so I cannot list down the names of games he'd play).
[NIGHT OWL] A bit random but he is the type to mix coffee and monster drink altogether. If his program has lectures, he would pull out this combo to get though it because he spent all night working on weapons (look at his eye bags, you cannot tell me he ISN'T a night owl)
[WRITING THESIS] I don't know if Japanese college does this, but in my country, for students who chose Faculty of Engineering must either make a prototype, project, or write a thesis to graduate in the new curriculum. In the old curriculum, students of faculty of engineering must write a thesis. Though reading the manga and observing the environment of the illustrations, it was giving 2010s vibes, therefore the old curriculum was applied. Natsuki would be the type to DREAD writing his thesis because making weapons is wayyy better, right? He has many unique projects that would go perfectly to write a thesis on, just that he can't get to write it. Natsuki could get thesis writing services, but that would make him a fraud. Natsuki would dread writing his thesis so he could use the college's facility to make more weapons.
[GRADES] (I don't know how college grading works, bare with me). He may look like he slacks off his studies and just work on his weapons, but his grades are shocking. He'd be the type to not study much but when Lu or Shin asks for his test results he'd say average and pulls out a 90 💀.
[DORM ROOM] JCC facilitates a dorm room for students. Natsuki would be awake in the middle of the night to work on his weapons. During the first few days he would get complaints of loud noises because of the gadgets/machines he uses. As the semester goes on, he would modify his dorm room for it to be sound leak proof. Either that or he would simply sketch a weapon design for his future projects.
[SHRIMP] Let's face it, from all his weapon making and late night sketches, he would have a bad posture. He would fall asleep on his desk and wake up feeling even more tired than he was already.
A/N: This is my first time writing a proper headcanon, it's not much but I hope I contribute in some way for this fandom because I need more Sakamoto Days content ToT.

The two funniest things about being white with younger Chinese-American siblings
1. Because im 7 years older than the youngest by the time we were all in k-12 I was old enough to be trusted in 90% of circumstances as a babysitter — taking my brothers to local fairs, driving them home from afterschool activities, letting them tag along to football games, etc.
Obviously our teachers knew our parents from parent-teacher conferences, but none of us were in very “showy” extracurriculars. I had a brother in the ski club and a brother who did language competitions (like a spelling bee competition circuit but for speaking different non-primary languages. If you took a second language in school and ever had a “speaking test” this was that but like in an auditorium for judges) and I was in art club and stage crew (stage crew families don’t usually linger they usually attend the play like any non-participating kid’s parents would)
So my parents were not really rubbing elbows with my brothers and I’s acquaintances, especially since by the time my youngest brother was old enough for basic sleepovers, I was *too* old for classic slumber parties. 13 and inviting ALL the kids in your class over is cute, 16 and inviting kids you barely know is weird.
But art club had a yearly art show, primarily for seniors to show off everything they’ve made over the year(s) (our principal was the brother of a professional painter so our art department was both well-funded and weirdly set up to get kids into prestigious art colleges)
And alongside those displays, every student in ANY art class (including home-ec and shop and any photoshop-esq class) was encouraged to enter a piece or two — so opening night had like EVERY student there.
And classmates I knew for years were SHOCKED to learn I had white parents and was not, in fact, the adopted sibling
2. We had a bunch of Chinese children’s books in the house and that included a couple that went over the Chinese zodiac. Now most people familiar with the Western zodiac might be aware that there are children’s resources on the zodiac that are a little simplified but otherwise like, “The Western Zodiac” isn’t really considered something “inappropriate” for children, so other than simplicity you wouldn’t expect many if any major changes in a Western Zodiac Guide for kids vs one for adults other than like, how simple the language is.
Now I don’t recall off the top of my head the Chinese Zodiac of my family members, but I was the rabbit.
And in children’s sources the Rabbit is Kind and Gentle and Demure and Creative
And at some point my family picked up a non-child centric Chinese Zodiac book and we all flipped through ours, nobody’s changing much in description from kids’ book to adults’ book.
Until we got to rabbit.
The Slutty Zodiac.

I have nail polish that changes color when my hands are cold and I'm realizing how cute it would be for someone to notice my hands are cold and hold them except it's in the 90's right now and I'm so very lonely, so let's just imagine
Notices the change in color, asks about it, then uses it every chance they get:
Shingen: makes it his mission to keep your hands on the warm color, claims he sees the color starting so subtly change when in fact it is not changing. Big fan of kissing the nails to change their color, eye contact prederable.
Mistuhide: obviously anything he knows can and will be used against you there will be teasing, but he actually likes the descretness of it too. You don't have to ask him to warm your hands and he doesn't have to ask if your hands are cold.
Masamune: thinks it's very cool, would rather you ask, but he won't complain about an excuse to hold your hand and I do men excuse. Regardless of what color your nails are he will definitly hold you hand and say they were changing color when called on being handsy
Hideyoshi: loves that there is a visual indicator for (what he believes is) one of your needs. Doesn't just hold your hands he takes both of them in his and blows on them gently. It's so sweet your get a toothache
Notices, but is mostly just intrigued on how it works, you have to tell them they were supposed to hold your hand:
Sasuke: wants to know the chemical reaction causing the change. Compliments the colors. Once told his role he gives a salute and dutifully keeps your hands warm when they are not.
Nobunaga: gets two bowls on with warm water the other with cool. Spends some time testing them between each bowl until they both reach ambient temperature. Puffs up with pride when you tell him he's supposed to hold your hand when the color indicates cool. Oh, yes that he can do.
Yoshimoto: inspects them very closely, wants the same color. (He would be a nail art lover for sure) ((to be honest I don't know his character that well I just know this is so far up his ally its in his kitchen))
Doesn't notice, you have to tell them, tells you that you should just say when your hands are cold (pays attention anyway):
Yukimura: everything is witchcraft with this boy. You should just tell him he isn't always going to notice something like cosmetics, always seems to notice. Likes having non romantic excuse to hold your hands. Will also hold both you hands in his and blow on them.
Kenshin: how foolish, if your hands are cold just tell him. What if he hadn't noticed, and your fingers fell off, no he's not being dramatic, its slightly chilly. He's a fingertip kisser prove me wrong.
Mitsunari: very oblivious, but as soon as he knows he checks about every time he sees you. Likes to hols a hand while he reads, occasionally bringing your hand up for a kiss. Helps him stay grounded in reality so that he remembers to drink water. It's hard to be cold around a pocket of sunshine
Iyasu: if your cold you should say something he doesn't have time to play color swap guessing games. Constantly sneaking a look at your nails. Holds your hands under his chin to warm them, no he's not being sweet, that's just the fastest way because of bloodflow, it's medicine, no he's no blushing.

INTRODUCTION.

Hello; ladies & gentlemen, and everyone in between. Welcome to my blog where I post my poetry and cute pictures (of me included).
About me: you can call me Ames, or Angelcake (I like that pet name).
18 y/o, I use she/they pronouns; I'm a AFAB demigirl, bisexual & asexual (caedo). I'm mostly a good bean with a big heart, a fucking brat and switch (and a soft girlie). I like cute, creepy but also soft, kinky things. I like to explore my recovered girlhood thru photography and poetry, I also want to be more open with my sexuality but not in a very sexual way, and be open with my thoughts.
Status: In a relationship! I am not interested, may respond for +18 anons, but it's pure fantasy. I only fuck around with my sweet lover.
Ask: Open!
Anons: Open!
Taken Anons: 🦇
Mutuals: I am open to be mutuals! Just be over 18 please!
WARNING: my content may be explicit, in some instances, triggering. My poems are based on many life experiences and feelings of mine.
DNI:
Minors (my blog is for +18, I am an adult, but dw I don't post much NSFW because that's just not me)
I'm okay with men interacting, but... Creepy men, you disgust me! I ain't interested in nudes or s*xting, and don't get started with the "not all men" ramble. Be a good boy and just be nice to me, I'd prefer not to interact with me if you just wanna get off to me and try to turn me into a dumb brat.
Just because I like to post pictures of myself, does not mean I am your baby girl or anything. I am a BRAT! I am an attention seeker, but I deserve respect, it's important in the bdsm world alongside consent.
Racist, White supremacists, Homo/Transphobes. If you're overall a hateful person, fuck off!!!
Pro-ED, SH, self-destructive behavior. You can get better, you need to get better. I believe in you.
Biphobes, specifically terfs and biphobe lesbians! Just because I also like men, doesn't mean I am not a true sapphic too. And trans women/men/enbys, I love ya ❤
Acephobes, do not ask/send me nsfw pictures, I am not okay with that.
Over a certain age range, 30 and up be polite please and do not ask me for nud3s and stuff, I may be an adult now but that's creepy.
Some of my likes and fun facts: I'm part of the alternative culture, aiming more for a scene/emo look. Other aesthetics I like are grunge, western, fairycore... Basically eerily kinda vibes. I also love pink and small cute things, I collect CDs and pins mostly. I also love Japanese culture and fashion, I live for the old 2000s, even tho I was born mid decade lol.
I love cartoons, art, video games, makeup and fashion. My favorite game franchises are Silent Hill, COD and RE.
Some of my favorite music includes Jazmin Bean, Halsey, Elita, Asking Alexandria, Mitski, Pierce The Veil, Poppy, BMTH, Slipknot... Anyways, my music tastes are pretty wide; mostly 90's to 2000's music.
I've been writing poetry since 2020, and I wish to publish my book one day.
I'm incredibly shy, and somewhat sensitive; my heart is too big for my own good sometimes. Currently trying to live life again.
BDSM Section (+18)
Like I said, I wanna express my sexuality and be part of this community, but I'm mostly a softie. Here's my k¡nk test results:

Turn ons: Praise, degrading (with my consent), basorexia, vanilla, dacryphilia, choking (with my consent), lingerie (either me wearing it or a sub), size k¡nk, brat taming.
I'm somewhat okay with masochism, spit, exhibitionism, bondage, DDLG/B (pet names can be discussed), predator-prey. This is because of my past trauma, which goes on with the sexual stuff, sadly.
Turn offs! : Feeding, any other fluids, fauxcest, dub-con (for me it must be heavily mutually consented), r4pe (that one I just can't, it triggers my past trauma), basically anything that goes beyond my limits and consent line. Any other I forgot you can ask and I'll let ya know.
You'll probably won't see me post this type of content as much, but just so you know, I'm not a minor safe blog!

Some Bunny Man Facts and Fun
Thought I’d throw my hat in the ring here since I prefer to use Twitter to browse funny stuff, save cool art, and look at news. It’s been 2 months since Tales of the Bunny Man released and from what I’ve seen, it was received very positively with the hope for a sequel of sorts coming sometime. The latter is happening, but not for a while since the team are sort of in recess to some extent. (We’re working when we can.)
Let me hit you with a big fact; did you know the game had to be remade because my PC died? The graphics for 90% of the modelling was done on a laptop, so it was ultimately a case of “it works, let’s move on” with that period of time. There won’t be a repeat of that this time. I’m actually in a mindset of remaking the models; keeping the designs the same, just improving and getting shit together. I’m glad my PC died because what we have now is better than what we could’ve had, and it would’ve been awful on my end.
Another fun fact is originally this wasn’t going to be a game. When we first thought of ideas for it. Zeriq proposed it to be analog horror at first, while I suggested we have an entry for a game somewhere. Suffice to say, it’s kind of both, minus the realistic monochrome eyes and the crappy vhs filter.
Sparky the dog is in the game somewhere. He exists and is very real.
If the sequel does come to fruition and releases, then this game will be the only one with a custom night. Since people only play for challenges, we’ve got you covered and there will be quite a variety.
At one point, a Weezer themed cheat screen existed during the old version’s development. It was designed to erase your data if you changed certain troll values in the saves.
The reason Poltergeist isn’t like the other Phantoms is because it’s more tangible than the others, meaning it is as close to a physical entity as they get. Phantom Fredbear, BB, or Puppet aren’t a thing because spoilers.
Vincent’s fate is unknown.
The main day segments didn’t have the markers to show your objectives, but they got added during testing. Thank goodness.
JJ was set to appear at one point during development, but it wouldn’t make sense to add another kid to the pile of possessed characters already.
Outside of the additional Mimic stuff, the story and plans have remained consistent for two years straight. Suffice to say, having a document to reference is a very good thing. We’re continuing to use these.
Originally, the gameplay was going to be free roaming with an At Dead of Night style to it. Since the building is so small and there are up to six roaming characters, it wouldn’t work logically. Post-night tasks were going to be a thing too, but those would mess with the pace of the story. This was before we had everything written down.
Development started with me setting a challenge to Zeriq. I said we weren’t allowed to have a phone guy at all and no other door in the office, so that the player feels cornered constantly. That’s where the comics and the idea of giving characters different behaviours came from. These may return in some ways.
Lastly, Tales of the Bunny Man is the game that’s sort of made me like FNaF again. At times, the boat was shaky and uncertain, but we locked in and made something that Dawko of all people took interest in. A project that for once, I know I’m happy with and one that outdoes anything I’ve done before on a serious level. Things are getting better going forward, so stay for the ride if you feel inclined.
That’s a lot of rambling, but I felt this was the best outlet to spill some beans, say some facts off the top of my head, and allude to the future. What comes next? You’ll have to bark up another tree for that answer.
See ya.

Horny game review #3: Lust Doll+. I did an informal summary in another post, but this is going to be my FULL ramble. Not very spoiler-free, but I do not recommend going into this game blind.
Quick summary if you didn't see my other ramble: Lust Doll+ is a scifi/fantasy RPG. You are a "doll" who wakes from a test tube in a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of monsters and furries (and also humans but who cares about those guys). It's a perfect mix of magic, tech, rpg tropes, and so much sex.
Okay so this game sucks. BAD. But sadly I'm obsessed (source: my 35+ hour main save file). Let me go over everything terrible first so you can understand my conflicted opinions.
First and most obvious issue: the art. Now look, this is a game made entirely by one guy, I get it, I'm not expecting AAA graphics here. It's a dinky top-down RPG and it's not even made in RPGmaker. But the overworld is literally just colored squares. And i don't mean like pixel art. It is just a gridmap. The vaguest suggestion of an environment. If you want to play this game, you gotta have a wildly vivid imagination like me cause it is 90% narration doing all the work. That last 10% is the character sprites, which are in a basic anime style with a noticeable lack of hands. All the characters look straight out of a How To Draw Anime book you'd find on clearance at Michaels. It is nothing to write home about. But hey I respect it! This game is updates twice a month! Whatever works!
Some of the questlines are also reminiscent of old confusing adventure games. You will absolutely find yourself lost on what to do next at some point. I always play with the wiki open on the side, it's very well-maintained. There is an NPC who will give subtle hints in-game for a small fee, but they're so well-hidden you'll need the wiki to find them anyways.
Now the actual complaints. The content of the game. This game has a huge list of kinks and fetishes it covers, I won't even try listing them all, it's got TONS (but no robots 😔). And a good amount of those are optional content! The game has a whole menu called The Sanctum you can access at any time to turn kinks on and off as you please! That's a big plus, I love that part! But there's still plenty you can't avoid.
Due to how gameplay works, noncon is entirely unavoidable. It's a battle fuck game. Do not even touch this game if you can't handle things being done to you or doing things to other people without consent. That's the whole point. There's no safeword (except for a small section of the game where you can engage in actual safe bdsm scenes. that part has a safeword).
There's also a lot of racism?? Like just the most fetishy representation you can imagine. There's two whole questlines late-game that are kinda uncomfortable, and one NPC early on that is required to interact with for a quest. If you're looking for games with good representation, this is NOT it. Not even close. And I'm still gonna talk good about this game, I'm sorry, but my standards are SO low for these games. I'm just glad I finally found a free porn game with ZERO incest or underage stuff. That part is truly miraculous.
Another essential warning: don't bother with the "trap/femboy" setting. It is as bad as it sounds. It affects one very minor character who is not worth the effort to find, the story literally forces you to be transphobic to them, it is so bad. The futa setting, on the other hand, has tons of content, and it's not the worst out there? Like it's for sure not good trans rep, or trans rep at all, i promise you none of the characters in this game identify as trans except for one confirmed nb shopkeep, but hey. It's something! I'll go into this in full, but so much of the game is so casual about gender and sexuality, those few weird sections really stand out. Good news is, these scenes can at least be turned off in the menu if they make you uncomfortable.
Okay. That's all the big negatives. Now let's talk good.
This game is like the undertale of porn rpgs. Every encounter has two options: fighting and fucking. The battle system is built upon these two bars, a classic HP meter, and a pink lust meter. Certain actions will do physical damage, lust damage, or a mix of both ;) As the pink bar fills, you'll get stat debuffs, and once it's full, you are forced to surrender out of desperation and left at the mercy of your opponent. And yes, all enemies have this too. I have found one enemy in the whole game you can't at least try to fuck your way past. Most have multiple options for "finishing" scenes if you win, and usually one "defeat" scene if they take you out. Also (pretty far into the game) there's a competitive sex minigame. Check out The Island it's very fun.

[a meme i made upon first finding the island]
Beyond battle sex, there's also sooo many options for casual sex with the many NPCs. The game will ask what sort of genders you're interested in, but look, if you're exclusively into dating men? Do not expect much. There is One properly romancable man and he cums on sight (Also the way his storyline currently ends he might not be a man?) So many romancable women tho! And some male enemies you can fuck in the battle system! And everyone is very bisexual!
Since we're covering sexuality, let's talk the player character's gender options. There's four pronoun options (he, she, they, and it) and So. Much. Body. Customization. They will let you do Anything. AND, throughout the game, there's tons of options to switch things up! As someone who plays porn games like a completionist, the fact that I can have boobs, a vagina, and a dick, all at the same time, allowing me to access Every Sex Scene in one save file is just perfect. There's even exclusive "both" sex scenes, and characters are very cool about it like its no big deal. And, only occasional pronoun fuckups in narration! With all the text in this game, I'm not surprised some things slip through. Other than that, character customization is pretty good, for human and nonhuman options. Not the most extensive furry options I've seen, and someone on the wiki keeps complaining about the lack of ferret options, but still plenty you can do. There's also tattoo and piercing options once you're in the game!
Clothing options are honestly disappointing in my opinion, and also the weapon options, which is weird for an rpg. I wound up just grinding my strength stat real high so i can take everything out with my bare hands. It looks better aesthetically and saves my ass if i forget to equip something (its very easy to forget to equip something).
I'm gonna add a section here to just mention all the stupid facts and tips I have. There's a whole pregnancy mechanic (optional), that goes all the way through giving birth, but since the dev hasn't added a way to settle down and raise children yet, your baby just gets put into adoption and everyone pretends it never happened. There's a quest where you have to find cowfolk throughout the world and recruit them to your farm to produce more milk (good health item + money source). Customize your character's default expression, it's a really minor thing but it adds a lot of personality. You can get arrested if you jack off in public bathrooms too much, and i recommend you don't do that, the cop character sucks and you should avoid her as much as possible, acab. If you take a very specific amount of steps before going to sleep, you will have The Dream and unlock your Hidden Desire, which allows some bonus (very silly) interactions with NPCs. The Mpreg status effect was recently renamed to Ass Pregnant, because it can happen to anyone, regardless of gender. Diversity Win.
You will surely hear more about this game from me. But that us all for now. Fanart was posted separate because I wrote a Lot, but thanks for reading anyways :]
#cfr talks games#cfr talks ick#lust doll plus#if i tried to tag every weird kink i mention in this post. this would be a dictionary just Beware.#i like including images in my textposts cause they pop up in the notifications.#now i get to see the competative sex meme everytime someone likes this post

Okay, I've had a full night's sleep, I'm awake; I still just want to close my eyes, but that's because of allergies and not fatigue, so let's get going again. I left off after the Rebellious Arts, and I wrote some notes for myself (I read the rest of the thing before going to bed), but it's semi-incoherent so I won't be relying on that.
"Fortunately, God-eater anatomy is not obligated to be in any way plausible." This made me giggle. You're having FUN with this, aren't you.
That Random Features table will be useful to SO many things other than just characters for this game.
Under Random Creed, I'm genuinely not sure whether "abstruse" is a word [EDIT: firefox spellcheck considers it to be a word], and if so, if it's the right word. Because I know that SOMETHING, with a similar shape, is the word an would fit in context, but it's not a word I'm very familiar with so this MIGHT be the right word, it might NOT be the right word, I just don't know. Boils down to "look it up and see if it's what you're thinking of or not". "Abstruse" shows up in the next paragraph after the table too; noting this out because if it's the wrong word, it'll have to be changed (and if it's the right word, it's not like it costs me anything to put it here).
Okay, I'm like 80% sure that "learning the true names of other characters" was NOT in fact discussed under 'running the game', but I'll find out when I get to there. [EDIT: Indeed, it was not discussed. It wasn’t even MENTIONED; that’ll need to be fixed. At the very least, put it under “things for future versions”.]
...wait is "miscellanea" a word? [EDIT: firefox spellcheck doesn’t think so, but that also doesn’t think that “bioluminescent” is a word either, so I’m not going to go off of that.]
I love that bit about pronouns, it just makes so much SENSE.
Okay, from "the consequences of choosing an inappropriate approach simply because it gives the biggest number are their own reward", I gather that it was NOT intended that a group have a balance of high Facets, but it still should be made explicit in that section, I think.
I'm on 'gathering dice', and it mentions "your own Traits", and were those just the physical ones, or are the high/low Facet ones included in that? This gets sorted under "things that I'm 90% sure are clarified elsewhere in the document, but I read that bit yesterday and don't perfectly remember it, so for ease of understanding it should prolly also be here".
One of those things that are always annoying, but inevitable: we seem to have the same-yet-polar-opposite reactions to the singular of "dice", where it irks you to see it as "dice" not "die", and it irks ME to see it as "die" not "dice". But since I know about this, and about your position on it, I can skip past it as a thing to not be mentioned (and just quietly substitute it for my own preferred form, in my own mind).
You'd said that this section, of how to play the game, was in no particular order; does that imply "I kind of know the organization I want, I just haven't done it yet, and there's some parts yet unwritten which are necessary for how I want it to be", or does it imply "lol iunno about this, it's a problem for future me"? Because if it's the former, then you'd only want feedback on organization if there's something an really sticks out, but if it's the latter, then anything would be helpful.
Typo in the grey box for "assessing calamity points", "your efforts are have" should be "to have".
Hm, was it ever mentioned what Stress limit an NPC is likely to have? I'll see as I keep going. [EDIT: It was not.]
I love how you gain a point of Obstinacy from a failed test; it's just something I always like, failure gaining you resources.
I remember you posting about how you were proud of the "wisdom test" mechanic, and I agree; it's very good. ...I'm thinking, it'd be possible to implement that wholesale into a different system, at least for things where there's not already a mechanic in place (so D&D has Perception and Insight for noticing things, but nothing for "not giving in to mundane social pressure"). I mean you'd first need to have everyone pick a Facet spread an represents their character, but that's a short bit of reading to do, and likely an easy sell. The hardest bit I can trace here, is converting "point of Obstinacy" to something that the other game's system would use, so that it's not overpowered but it's still worthwhile.
Typo in "on a success", where it says "msy" instead of "may".
Under Range, it seems like they all assume a relatively open environment; how does it get interpreted if you're in like a dense forest, or a building with lots of corridors? Or do you go by the "near enough to XYZ" guidelines in those cases; because if I'm separated from someone by a wall and the door is on the other side of the room, I can neither slap them nor throw a rock at them, I can only shout at them. (Unless I've a way to break through the wall.)
Okay, so "effortful" doesn't require expending any resource, but you can only have one going at a time. That's good to know, and makes sense.
The "mitigating Stress" concept isn't quite clicking for me, but I can't isolate any particular phrase that's unclear, which prolly means you need to clarify it, in some manner. Or maybe it just means that allergies have addled my brain in the PRECISE area which would normally allow me to understand it perfectly.
Typo in the third paragraph under "stressing out", it says "equivlent" instead of "equivalent".
So you reset to one point of Obstinacy when you recover from being Stressed Out, and it explicitly says that you can return to play with MORE points than before; but does it go the other way as well? Like, if you had three points, then Stress Out, then recover, do you essentially lose those two "extra" points? Should be made explicit either way.
Typo under "Obstinacy and the Rebellious Arts", "resource with represents" should be "which", I believe.
"Recovering Obstinacy", that same thing I mentioned about "reset to one point", and the answer should be put here as well.
"your inventory slots are as much a representation of your God-eater's ability to keep track of their stuff as they are of pure carrying capacity", okay that gives me an idea. For a Trait, or an Art, or something; where the character always has a lot of random stuff on them, but if they invoke [whatever it is], they can declare that they just happen to have whatever it is that they needed. Or I suppose, that they're able to FIND it when rummaging through their pockets or whatever.
First sentence of 'Catalysts', missing the "a" before "single-use". You should prolly also say at the start of the section that it's potentially-temporary potentially-permanent; also, mentioning that these exists, in the earlier section about "changing Traits".
"Position and Effect", I think "hands-off" should have a hyphen to it.
Point two, in the same section, has a typo; "acheiving" instead of "achieving".
I really love how "how bad an idea is this" and "how useful will it be if it works" are a) both included and b) independent of each other.
Typo under Calamity Threshold, "calamilty".
The description for Calamity Threshold 5+ doesn't seem to match with how it's been described, as that refers to "the potential to make things worse", which isn't how I interpret "already being in a bad situation".
In 'Trading Position for Effect', the identity of the second-person pronoun bounces between "player" and "GM", and a future pass should prolly keep it consistent; if not throughout the supersection, at least within a single heading.
'Reduced Effect', how is "using the same approach" defined? Same Facet, same type of doing a thing, both together, what?
...the future example NPCs, can they PLEASE be thinly-veiled cartoon characters? Like, not even "we changed the name to something similar", just accurately describing them and not explicitly stating what they look like or what their name is.
"It's usually impossible to remove a location from play except by leaving it", now that's the sign of an experienced gamer, that you've put the "usually" in. Because it is ABSOLUTELY possible to do, with enough effort and/or luck (good or bad).
So, that's me having gone through the playtest draft. If it didn't show, my other reblog, of the first half, is here.
The full playtest draft of Eat God is up. For those just joining us, I'll let the document's own intro do the talking:
---
Eat God is a game where you take on the role of a small gremlin-like creature. Though you're just as much a person as anybody else, the setting's dominant human culture tends to regard your kind as clever vermin, which means you don't get a lot of respect – but it also means you usually aren't seen as a threat, which may occasionally work to your advantage.
Unfortunately for the people in charge, you're not just any clever vermin: you and your companions are God-eaters, wandering practitioners of an esoteric discipline – part existential philosophy, part martial art – which affords you a limited capacity to bend the laws of reality to your will. As its name suggests, the God-eater's creed also has serious objections to authority in all its forms.
In a typical session of Eat God, you and your friends will arrive in a community that's suffering under some abuse of power, and proceed to cause problems on purpose. Owing to your limited outsider's perspective, your efforts may not necessarily help, but they'll definitely ensure that those responsible have a bad time. Actual theophagy may or may not be involved, depending on the situation at hand.
---
... or, for those not inclined to read between the lines, you're a bunch of muppets with Looney Tunes super powers wandering around a gritty fantasy milieu stirring shit up.
This is a little less finished than I prefer my first drafts to be, but I'm sixty pages deep and well and truly sick of filling out d66 tables – it's time to get it in front of eyes that aren't mine!
If you're coming in from the previous character creation teaser, revisions in this version (apart from, you know, the actual rules being present) include expanded treatment of Facets, minor rewrites to several Traits, major rewrites to at least a couple Rebellious Arts, and at least four entirely new d66 tables to play with.
You can find the link above, or right here.
As always, questions, criticisms, and bizarre rants are welcome!

Helllooooo! Just gonna talk about my experience with Streaming till now! Because why not!
So I started streaming around the start of April this year because it turns out I actually can?
I was kinda convinced that with the little Laptop I have here it would be almost impossible and I am like the furthers away possible from the router in this apartment so that was another worry. And yet. It works…for the most part…but what more can I ask for?
I only have occasional connection issues and otherwise it works fine so I’ll take that anyday over it not working at all.
Anyway so the 2 big things that I wanted to be able to do were Games Streams (which works as I already record my gameplay) and Art Streams (which is were the problems started). Because I could not for the life of me figure out how I can connect my tablet to my laptop in a way where I can record what is happening on the tablet for months. Until I decided I would check once more for a way and I found one that (again, works for the most part) in under 10 minutes...yeah... But it works! I can record my art! I can stream my art!
Anyway I started on March 30th with just a test stream to see if it works. It did! Yay!
I did a few more test streams just to see that it actually works consistenly after which I put a scheduel in place I felt I could stick to. Which is Tuesday & Saturday from 11am to 1pm (CEST) with occasional Thursday afternoon streams. I get if that is an odd time it's just what works best for me at the moment.
But streaming has been very fun! Being able to talk for 2 hours straight has been very nice somehow (well more for my soul than for my throat).
What I did learn thorugh the Art Streams is that I cannot start a piece and partially do it on stream and partially off stream, my brain can't work with that. However a Meme Ara takes around 90 minutes to do while streaming and that fit very nicely with my streaming times & you can never have enough Meme Aras.
But I also learned rather quickly and rather involuntarily that my Streaming limit is at 2 Hours & 30 minutes. I did a stream recently that accidentally went on for 3 hours and 30 minutes and...ah...that wasn't good for me...we did get further in the game though.
You also have to keep an eye on soo much stuff all the time? I have to remember to check the Chat regularly for any activity, Twitches acitivity feed itself, the Bitrate/Internet connection, the Feed from the Game/Tablet & doing all that while conituing to actually do stuff. I am getting used to it but it's taking tiimmeee.
Either way, it's going great! I can mostly stick to my scheudel, I get stuff done, I have fun and that is basically all that counts. I also get to use my PNGModel more which just make it easier to use over time. And having made scenes & screens for the stream has also been fun (even if almost everything is currently only temporary)
Prepping the VODs has also been interesting, especially in Thumbnail Terms. I'm also learning lots there.
Another thing I did just for fun is that I recommend a Song every week through "Aras Song Of The Week!" which is more like "Aras Song of Last Week" but it still works. I have a Playlist for those!
There are also some things I would like to try out in the future, like handcam streams & building some fictional Kpop groups on Stream (I know, that came out of nowhere didn't it?).
And thats where my thoughts about all that end. Well well.
Let's finish this of with a little hold up of my stats
Since the 30th of March 2024 I have (as of the June 21st 2024): - Streamed on a total of 22 days - Streamed 46 hours & 35 Minutes - got 15 Followers
Either way Here is the VOD channel and I Stream Here on Twitch!

A case of Mythunderstandings
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT
Myths are great when you’re studying Greek gods, but not when it comes to the facts about your child’s education. Herein we dispel some of the misconceptions about immersive learning
Myth 1: Interactive books are only for children.
Reality: Interactive books are for everyone, regardless of their age or reading level. They provide readers with more engagement, interactivity, and personalization.
Myth #2: Interactive stories are just fancy coloring books and gimmicks.
Reality: Think beyond static images! Omni Tales are interactive portals, with immersive content embedded in the pages, taking readers to images, audio, and videos. It's about engaging multiple senses and learning styles, not just filling in the blanks.
Myth 3: Immersive learning is too expensive and complicated to use.
Reality: Our Growing Eager Readers lessons run less than $10 per lesson, and each lesson includes:
- Curated theme activities
- Omnopoly chapter games
- Vocab-building exercises
- Journaling
- Author-narrations
- Coloring images
- How-to instruction, and more.
We believe every family deserves the chance to experience the magic of interactive stories and immersive learning, regardless of budget constraints.
The Magic of Immersive Learning doesn’t require any special tools or equipment—just a computer or tablet and a willingness to enjoy fun and adventure. Activities are adaptable and flexible, and lessons can be customized to fit the learning style and level of each learner.
Not to mention you’ll get mentoring from our resident family success coach and have the support of your peers in our private online community.
Myth #4: It's all fun and games, no real learning.
Reality: GUFFAW! (I beg your pardon) Just because your kids are having a ball doesn’t mean they’re not learning! And it’s more than just reading. Students will improve all sorts of skills from math to critical thinking to creativity to socializing—all of which is a huge boost to their confidence and a boon to their ability to pass tests. It’s not a replacement for education, it’s an up-leveling, adding layers of interactivity that pique interest and boost comprehension. Imagination is still the engine, but the interactive books and immersive lessons add the rocket fuel!
Immersive learning serves as a complement and enhancement to traditional learning methods, by providing more depth, variety, and creativity to the learning experience. It affords greater opportunities for feedback and student assessment. Immersive learning can also bridge the gap between theory and practice, by providing more authentic, contextualized, and experiential learning opportunities.
The Magic of Immersive Learning will help you and your child benefit from the best of both worlds by by integrating immersive learning with traditional learning methods, providing you with a symbiotic approach to learning and living that streamlines daily tasks and turns even the details into engaging learning experiences.
Myth #5: It'll take kids away from the family and glue them to a screen.
Reality: Just the opposite. Interactive learning encourages family bonding, not digital isolation! Imagine decoding an ancient language or going on a digital quest as a team. These shared experiences strengthen family ties, create lasting memories, and turn learning into a joyful adventure for everyone.
Join our pilot program starting February 19th at 90% off and witness your child's curiosity spark, their love for learning grow, and your family bond strengthen.
Remember, interactive books and immersive learning aren't about bells and whistles, they're about creating a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Let's turn reading into an epic adventure together, one interactive page at a time!

For those who don't know, Episode is a free app where you can read thousands and thousands of Choose-Your-Adventure type stories and there is two categories: The ones written by the Episode team themselves, or the ones that are written and submitted by the public. You get 2-4 passes (depending on how you have played the app) that will refill every other hour and everytime you finish one chapter of a story, regardless if it's a story from the team or from public submission, you will get a free gem.
The ones written by the Episode team are pretty good, albeit a little cliche at time, and as all micro-transactional games go, they allow you to use gems to buy the decision you want to get the best outcome from the adventure you choose. You could either pay for it, or you could save the story for later and choose to grind for gems by reading other stories to stock up on the gems.
The ones written by public submission is as it is, public submission. You basically just need to make an account to register into the app and you can automatically write stories to submit them into the app for people to read. Of course, to write the stories you will need to do it on your web browser and they will have tutorials and tips and easy coding guides for you as well as a preview slot to help you fine tune your story better. There are some really good stories posted by the public in there, and about 90% of them don't require gems to get the best outcome, so you will have to depend on your luck whether or not you would get a good or bad ending to your story. But there are some which... ehh... let's just say amateur might be a kinder word for them.
I joined Episode during its very infancy, when their characters design were as above and their animation is a little janky and limited, but still enough to help tell their story. This format is coined as "Classic" now, and was the very foundation of the app. Back then public submissions were limited as they were testing the waters, and I was one of the few who managed to be in the team part-time and submitted a story as a paid writer. It was one of my best part time jobs yet and I was raking in the dough, that is until I have actually finished my story and my contract was completed, and thus I was renegaded to become a public registered user instead, and now the only way I can earn anything out of my writing is if I hit a certain quota:
Sadly my daily life has been more hectic and busy, so I hardly wrote any stories nowadays...
And then we have the Ink platform, which started when the app has gotten more traction and even have some celebrity-featured stories to usher in the new art style (celebrity being Demi Lovato). They have more updated graphics and slightly more defined features, almost like a HD version of the old platform, and with slightly more anatomically-correct features and extra animation. I was a little iffy at first with this platform, being that I've always been used to Classic, but I slowly eased into it and more or less got used to it, especially when they have the additional animation in which I can express my characters better.
Finally we have the Limelight platform, when the hype got even more on this app and they brought in fandom-based storylines into their feature stories (Pretty Little Liars, Pitch Perfect, Clueless, Mean Girls etc...). Personally I'm not really a fan of this art style. Though it may have even more extra animation and more detailed features to make them look more realistic, it was kinda borderline going into Uncanny Valley territory, and it definitely felt a little off for me. Still, it does serve its purpose for certain types of stories that calls for this type of platform, so I wouldn't complain.
They also brought back an old classic as well called Spotlight, which used to be part of the old OG Episode app platforms, though now they've tweaked it in a way that can be used for both Ink and Limelight style. Not sure if they can be used for Classic style, but we'll see how it goes.
So there you have it, a lowdown (or recap for those in the know) about how Episode works and what I think about it. Hope it helps!

Hi I'm Foone Turing. I've been here a while but never really did an introduction post, so...
Hi. Yes, that's my name. I'm an asexual trans enby (they/them pronouns), I'm married, and I'm both older than you expect and younger than you expect, depending on what you know me from. I'm a writer and programmer. I'm better known on Twitter, at the moment. I'm well known for being severely ADHD and I'm also on the autism spectrum, somewhere near ultraviolet. I live near Oakland, California, USA, but I grew up on a farm in the south. I'm a furry, but I don't have a fursona yet.
I'm big into retrotech stuff, especially floppy disks. 80s and 90s PC stuff mainly, but I have a passing interest in everything else. I loves me some weird tech that you have no idea ever existed. I'm also big into analog media. VHS tapes, laserdiscs, that sort of thing.
Fandom wise, I'm a Trekie from way back, primarily in the TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT era. I haven't yet gotten into the new stuff, and I have only a passing knowledge of the original series. I'm also a big fan of Babylon 5, Red Dwarf, and Doctor Who (4th doctor, and new who doctors 9,10,11). I watch a bunch of British panel shows: HIGNFY, Mock the Week, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 cats (primarily the countdown spinoff).
I am a Big Hater on crytypocurrentseas and AI art. I used to be famously mad at the JWST, but now that it's in space and functional, I've calmed down. They just need to rename it and I'm golden.
I'm currently splitting my social media presence across three sites:
* Tumblr, obviously. Shitposting, jokes, queer stuff, and queer joke shitposts are all going here.
* mastodon: I'm putting my tech stuff here. Teardowns, building new death generators, fun historical weirdness.
* Twitter: formerly my primary platform, but now I just use it to keep in touch with people and make fun of the impending collapse of Twitter.
Stuff I do and have done after the readmore.
(I'm on mobile now but I'll get back to this on the desktop and add more links)
* I run lettuce.wtf, a webcam showing a lettuce to see if it will outlast Twitter. (My money is literally on the lettuce)
* my long running site The Death Generator: a tool for making fake video game screenshots, with user supplied dialogue.
* I run some Twitter bots, one of which is more popular than me, and all of which will need to be migrated soon: Gay Cats, WinIcons, Print Shop Deluxe, and Every Clue Line.
* I got Microsoft 3D Movie Maker open sourced
* I got rickrolled so hard that it ended up on national TV
* I ran doom on a pregnancy test
* I have made many horrible and weird keyboards. Keyboards with hair, keyboards which write poetry, keyboards that take 5 hours to say "hello world", keyboards with randomly placed keys, keyboards with 7 toggle switches instead of buttons, and many more.
* I tear down random electronics and try to figure out and explain how they work. (originally on Twitter, but moving over to mastodon now)
* I pissed off the FBI on more than one occasion. They tried to get me fired, they delayed my wedding by over a month, and they mentioned my 4chan nickname in a federal trial.
* I used to work for 4chan. I was a moderator and coder, I created /rs/ and /r9k/, and I convinced moot to destroy the original politics board (for obvious reasons). Things went further to shit after I left, but I am still glad I left. Oh and I also inadvertently prevented the creation of the 4chan dating/meet up site by being too ADHD to actually complete development of it. You're welcome.
* I ran a windows 95 machine for the maximum amount of time. There's a bug where it crashes after 49.7 days of uptime, so I let it happen. I livestreamed the end on YouTube.
* I've done exhibits at the Vintage Computer Festival on the history of floppy disks and optical discs.
* I've worked with the Video Game History Foundation (and others) to preserve old games and game development resources (source code and such). I'm big into archival!
* I wrote a really famous Twitter thread about the surprising way our vision works, which is still circulating in screenshots (including on Tumblr!) something like 5-6 years later.
* I made my old apartment play the Zelda Ocarina of Time shop music when you walked I the door.
* I run the Tumblr animefloppies, collecting screenshots and GIFs of floppy disks in anime.
* I run several other sub-tumblrs for collecting weird things, but I'll have to link them later.
* I am technically a speedrunner. I did the TAS of Duke Nukem 1, episode 1, and a joke speedrun of Solar Winds, where I beat the game by ignoring every single possible objective and just flying to the end, which takes over an hour.
* I used to make games. Some of them are available for download.
* but it still do, too: I'm working on a (currently unnamed) game about managing a dairy farm. Both the developers have ADHD. This is going to take forever before it comes out, if it ever does.
* I'm currently working on three books. Two are compilations of stuff previously twitterized, one is a novel:
- Always Screaming Forever: non-fiction, stories about my career in the tech industry and various other tech/science/history stuff I love ranting about.
- The Other Side of Screaming: fiction. My short stories.
- Mundane Kaya Sona (placeholder title): a linguist gets pulled into an FBI investigation into a car crash. An unknown language leads to the discovery of a wizard living in a forest in Oregon, and an interdimensional plot to smuggle nuclear weapons to another world, and break a cold war stalemate we (the planet earth) didn't realize we were in. I've been working on the setting for this story since I was about 7 years old, and I'm excited to finally get it out of my head and into yours.
* I'm probably forgetting like 5-10 major things I've done but ADHD is a hell of a drug. I'll add more as they come to me.

@sisterreisaid made fun of Canadian coins incorrectly by saying they're named for Looney Toons. This is Incorrect. Let me show you the Correct way to make fun of Canadian money, because today I am an Arbiter of Taste apparently.

The coin on the left is a gold-coloured (brass plated) $1 coin. It has a common loon on it, so it's called the loonie. It was introduced in 1987. As it came out, Canada took our $1 bank notes out of circulation. It's a very common word—financial analysts talking about exchange rates discuss "the strength of the Loonie against the US dollar" (though you never say, like, "That cost me 50 loonies" unless you literally plunked down all those coins)
The coin on the right is the two-toned $2 coin introduced in 1996. People tried giving it lofty and dignified names, or dumb-but-clever names like the "twofer", but Yard Sard effect took over. "Toonies and loonies" is just too easy to say.
The fact that all change under $5 is in coins means you can end up with a really heavy change purse that isn't actually worth much. That and the fact that only our $20 bills are green makes going to America really weird because I get all these $1 bills and then think "Oh, my billfold has lots of green bills in it, I must have lots of money left," and really I just have $8.25.
There is a trick you can do where you heat the toonie up a lot to make its metals expand at different rates and them slam it really hard in the ground to make the brass core come out and then wear the silver rim on the necklace. I was in elementary school when the toonie came out so In my newly-appointed role as Queen of Some of Canada, I'm going to say my experiences are universal and declare this trick only cool to people whose life revolves around the game of Pogs.
So the actual correct way to make fun of the toonie is to put your thumb on the polar bear's head and rotate the coin 90 degrees clockwise so you can see the T-Rex, like this edit I stole off a guy on Twitter:

Another coin you can make fun of is the 2007 Remembrance quarter, the world's first colorized coin, which honestly did look a bit like the poppy was drawn on with a ballpoint pen.

That's not the reason you should make fun of it. For one, it's bad form to make fun of Remembrance stuff for being mawkish and amateur. You just don't do that. The amusing thing is not the art itself, but the audience; when it came out a US intelligence agent received this quarter in their change, and wrote a later-leaked report raising concerns that this coin represented Canada's devious plan to inveigle harmful nanotechnology into the ordinary lives of ordinary people. Which meant we needed to have a national campout and discuss the whole The Americans Are Onto Us situation, which was a good time remembered fondly.
The old $5 bills aren't being made anymore — all our bills are polymer-based now — but if you find an old one, you can turn Sir Wilfrid Laurier into Spock (which is frankly an improvement IMO). It might be technically illegal of you to deface currency or whatever, but it still counts as legal tender.

Finally, there is a persistent rumour that Canadian $100 bills smell faintly of maple. I don't know if it's true, but if anyone wants to send me a few of them I'll happily subject them to the sniff test.

Demigod MC Series: Athena
So. I have to deal with the virgin goddesses… By mythos, there really shouldn't ever be children of Artemis, Hestia, or Athena (yes, Athena was a virgin goddess). PJ got past that by making it canon that Annabeth and her siblings were born from cracking open Athena's skull (yes, that's also more or less the canon explanation). They gloss over it real quick but I remember, Rick. I've always remembered and that mental image has haunted me for years...
I can't, in good conscience, ignore the history around Athena's worship (call it an academic restraint) but I REFUSE to do the skull thing. So, since I make the rules here, I'm going with magic adoption. They still get magic powers, they're just more human than demigod. Cool? Cool.
Demigod MC Series: Intro, Aphrodite, Hermes, Hades, Dionysus, Demeter, Athena
Lucifer
The human that popped out of the portal seemed to have enough sense not to attack everyone in the room for a change, but even Lucifer could tell that was more of a strategic choice than for lack of ability...
Their very existence was highly unusual… and quite worrisome. He wasn't even aware Athena could have "children" of her own, but apparently she had been taking in some particularly bright humans to raise and train like her own...
Unbeknownst to him, a surprising amount of human scholars, diplomats, and generals have her to thank for their trade… and that alone should speak to the level of intrigue at play here.
Was this an accident or Athena's attempt to plant an Olympian spy in the Devildom too…? Either way, he didn't trust them from the get go…
Look, Lucifer isn’t stupid. Athena is a goddess of Wisdom and War and war happens on more than just the battlefield…
Since they've shown up records have been going missing, official documents keep getting misplaced, and he swears that there's some kind of bug in the student council room...!
It's infuriating watching the MC suck up to Diavolo when he's almost certain that they're running their own agenda behind the scenes! And he can't prove any of it!! They cover their tracks too well!
Lucifer has one of those corkboards covered in newspapers and string in a secret wing of the Castle - 100% dedicated to just tracking the MC's activities…. The longer they're there, the more obsessed he becomes...
He swears between Simeon, Solomon, and MC he feels like a shepherd wondering why the sheep are growling… The Devildom has never been in more danger than it is right now... Send help.
Mammon
To be honest, he kind of thought that they were just going to be Satan 2.0 but that's not really true.
They're more than just a book sponge! Though they do read, like a lot. Let’s just say from one schemer to another… Game recognizes Game.
They come up with plans and ideas soooo fast, it’s insane! Honestly, there are times where he has a new money-making plot and he just brings it to the MC first to run it over.
Nine times out of ten, not only do they sniff out any problems but they have a solution for him in a matter of minutes! His scheme game has been on point since they’ve shown up!!
They’re also even better tutoring than Satan is, so he’s even managed to get a couple A’s for the first time in his life! Lucifer actually told him he was proud (which he secretly recorded and now uses as a ringtone much to his brother’s regret...)
So yeah, he likes them... buuut that doesn’t keep him from thinking they act a little weird sometimes...
Mammon: *points to a unused tower close to the RAD building* Over there is the Tower of Sorrow. We use it for storage.
MC: Ah. Interesting… *starts writing in a notebook, muttering* It may need a few minor tweaks but the location is defensible...
Mammon: *stops* Ya say somethin’?
MC: *looks back up* Nope! Say, you’ve been to the Castle a lot haven’t you? Do you know any good ways in?
Mammon: Uhm… Why do ya want to know that…? *starts looking around for Lucifer*
MC: In case of emergencies. I like being prepared. 🙂
Mammon: Look, I don’t know what Lucifer might’a told ya…
MC: I’ll pay you a thousand Grimm for it.
Mammon: Well shit, ya want those maps with or without color?
... Yeeeah, that’s pretty weird… But it’s probably fine. I mean, as long as they keep giving him money, who’s he to complain? 🤷♀️
Leviathan
Also thought that they’d be a lot more like Satan but was pleasantly surprised that they were into more than books.
What else did they like exactly? Military strategy!!
It’s been a looong time since he’s been able to talk to someone who’s actually interested in all the battles he’s fought, both in the Celestial Realm and the Devildom, and their curiosity is kind of flattering...! Not a lot of people take his strategic prowess all that seriously anymore...
Plus, they are the BEST partner to have any turn-based strategy game. Hands down. He once got stuck on a level of D-COM for weeks until the MC walked in and mopped the floor with the AI!! They have a serious head for probability and tactics.
The House once made the mistake of letting these two be on the same team during a Hell Game and they absolutely demolished the competition. Mammon didn’t even get a single shot off before half his team was lost to a rigged paint grenade… It took a whole day to clean up…
However, Levi’s also noticed some odd things about the human… He likes that they’re interested in his past but maybe they’re a little… too interested?
Levi: -and that’s how we defeated the Four Horsemen before they escaped from Purgatory.
MC: Wow, Levi that’s seriously impressive!! *furiously scribbling on a notebook*
Levi: Well t-thanks… 😅 But, uhm... are you writing that down…?
MC: Hm? Oh no, just doodling. *they lift up the notebook to show a bunch of cute little sketches on the page… and not the magic-based invisible ink all over them…*
Levi: Oh you draw too? Can you do fanart???
MC: Eh, sometimes. But say Levi, can you tell me about your naval ranks again? I’m still really curious… *gets the pen ready again with a smile*
Satan
Oh, it's been a long game of cat-and-mouse between these two… and unfortunately, it’s been pretty addicting too.
He honestly had every intention of tricking the human into making a huge mess do he could bother Lucifer, but at every turn they proved just a hair too clever for him...
He once gave them a cursed book to “lend” to Lucifer, but they saw through it the moment they touched it and lifted the spell before handing it over.
He rigged a podium to spray glitter during one of Lucifer's speeches but the MC disconnected the trigger mic before he even got on stage. It was pretty dang frustrating...
At one point he got so desperate that, just as a test, he tried to trap them in the House's Music Room. Fortunately for them, it only took a few minutes to work out an escape. They even passed by him in the hallway with a wink!
It's confounding! It's infuriating!!
...and it's so damn sexy... He should be furious but he’s just in awe!!
Add on that they know their art, literature, and multiple different crafts thanks to the tutelage of their adopted mother and that’s it. He’s finished. This boy is in love.
Truthfully though, a part of him is 90% sure that they’re also gathering state secrets… Like, they’re watching Barbs and Diavolo far too close for comfort - but he just can't bring himself to care. 🤷♀️
The MC could walk into his room one day and say, "Hey, do you want to help overthrow the monarchy with me?" and he dreads it because deep down he knows that he wouldn’t say no…
Take some notes, kids. Some bad influences get you to drink or do drugs. Others pull you into a centuries long conspiracy to destabilize and topple rival realms from within… But he has fallen for their brain hard. Devil help them all…
Asmodeus
They’re pretty clever, he’ll give them that, but uh… Are they a little off to anybody else?
Asmo is a charmer by birthright so he has a bit of nose for when someone’s just a liiittttle too nice… Not much of a nose mind you, because he can be thrown off by compliments himself, but enough to think that the MC might be a little too… “kind” for their own good...
First off, who wants to spend that much time with Levi?? They don’t even seem that interested in anime! They just keeping asking him for old war stories…
Then all the sucking up they do to Diavolo and Barbatos? Look, he gets it. Diavolo is a delicious piece of man-hunk and his butler could give him a lesson or two in sweet-talk (and he has), but they seem to be just a little too… nosy.
Of course, Asmo’s suspicions disappear pretty quickly after they start to spoil him with spa nights and beauty secrets they picked up from “casual research” into the subject.
And you know, get a little Demonus in Asmo and start massaging his back? Oh, sweetie he’ll sing like a bird!! … with gossip. Singing with gossip.
Asmo: So I’ve heard that Lucifer has been spending more time at RAD than usual… His whole club is talking about it, they think he’s meeting with some witch!
MC: Hm, is that so? *works on a knot near his shoulder blades* What do you think?
Asmo: Ooh~! Right there, MC! *purrs and lays his head on his arms* Well come on, this is Lucifer we’re talking about! I’m sure he’s just working.
Asmo: Hmm... though come to think of it, I think I heard him asking Barbatos for the spare keys to the Tower of Sorrow…
MC: Oh really? Huh. *works out the knot and gets up* I just remembered that I left some papers with Satan... I’ll be right back.
Asmo: You’re going already??
MC: *waves him off quickly* I’ll be right back, Asmo. *hurries out the door to do totally on-the-up-and-up things… surely*
Beelzebub
Honestly he doesn't like this one… But not for the reasons you'd expect.
He agrees with everyone else that they seem a little shady, but Solomon and Simeon are too so it's not like that's anything new... 🤷♀️
No, no. He dislikes them because they're the person who FINALLY figured out how to keep him from eating all the food in the kitchen!!
Turns out that the trick was to put a teleportation charm on the fridge door that would send all the food away if it’s opened after a certain time of night…
And where does it go? The Purgatory Hall fridge. And where does the Purgatory Hall food go…? The HoL fridge…
It doesn’t sound so bad until you remember that it means half of their fridge is now Solomon’s leftovers…. 🤢
After they put the same kind of spell on the pantry, it was all over… He couldn't get midnight snacks from the House anymore… Everything was contaminated by Solomon…
The MC is a nice enough person, he doesn’t have a lot of complaints about them, but he wants them to leave. Now. This is inexcusable… He’s so hungry… and he doesn’t want to die by “goulash” or whatever Solomon calls his latest culinary catastrophe… He’s still too young for death… 😓
Belphegor
In a way, he absolutely could not have asked for a better person to help him get out of that attic.
… In another way, he got one of the worst possible people to try and kill... Like. They saw through his scheme sooo fast…
How was he supposed to know that the human had training in body language and sniffing out lies???
Getting the door open was a piece of cake for them. They knew enough magic to undo the seals and just rummaged around Lucifer's stuff long enough to find the key to the door. He could not have found a more competent individual for a break out, really.
It’s just… well he didn’t expect to go from locked in a room like a prisoner to tied up in enchanted rope, still like a prisoner but now mobile. 😑
They even used his own hug ruse against him! They caught his wrists when they got close and tied him up before he could shake them off...
Admittedly, it wasn't exactly the best look for them either - what with walking Belphegor downstairs to the others like a one-man-prison-caravan but they're as silver-tongued as they are sly so they talked their way out of it beautifully…
And like hell was he going to trust them after that!! And not even Beel liked them so something had to be up...
Well, you want a detective? Look no farther than Belphie (no seriously, it’s in the canon). He can put things together pretty fast when he puts his mind to it and watching the MC for a while gave him enough proof to work off of...
He always knew that, humans were bad news and the MC just proved it to him all over again. They are bad news, bad bad news and they’re going to-!
Overthrow… Diavolo…? Is that what he is getting from them…? Huh…
Wait a second, MC. You might just have him interested… 😏
