Not to talk about the watcher thing again as I’ve already kind of said my piece, but one of the most batshit insane parts of this whole unbelievable situation is that for some reason they decided that for some fucking reason the BEST time to announce this highly controversial decision was literally DAYS before they would be going on an international tour and having to face irate fans IN PERSON. Guys. What the hell. At least have the sensibility to announce a move that you HAD to have known would make people upset AFTER one of the few times you actually interact in person with your fanbase.

I hope you’re ready to investigate the Tower of London for ghosts, because I have a feeling the Londoners will be more than happy to acquaint you with the building later this week.

Sami has currently raised €2,215 out of his goal of €30,000. Sami's place of business was destroyed by Israeli bombing, and his family has been forced to relocate several times after their house was destroyed as well, with Sami's father being killed after being trapped inside. They currently live in a tent that is torn and offers little protection from the cold weather. His children need food, and clothes for winter. Due to intentional scarcity because of the Israeli blockade of Gaza, food has become increasingly expensive. Your donation will help keep Sami and his family fed during this difficult time.

Hey Ferd Nerds! The wonderful Ferdinand Kingsley is currently fundraising for Choose Love, a charity supporting refugees and displaced people.

Ferdie’s been supporting this charity for several years through his work with Letters Live (and just because he’s an all round genuinely nice person). Choose Love are supporting people in/from Gaza, and in light of recent racist riots in the UK a donation is also a way of standing against those people who choose hate and violence instead of love and compassion for our fellow humans.

Extra Life Charity 24-Hour Marathon Stream - Nov 2-3 2024!

Hiya! I’m Roz, aka BlackjackKent, and I am a Twitch variety gaming streamer. For my TENTH YEAR RUNNING, I am fundraising with Extra Life to raise money for Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, IL.

As part of my fundraising efforts, I’ll be participating in the Game Day events by livestreaming at http://www.twitch.tv/blackjack_kent for 24 hours straight from 12pm, Sat Nov 2 through 11am, Sun Nov 3 (Central Time) (a full 24 hours due to daylight savings time), playing all sorts of games!

Hey btw if I reblog something that is fraudulent you need to a) clearly indicate which post/campaign you believe to be a scam and b) SHOW ME EVIDENCE THAT IT IS A SCAM.

I personally check the verification chain of every campaign I promote on this blog. I’m not a vetter, but I find sources from recognized vetters confirming a campaign’s legitimacy before I reblog a campaign. If there is not verification, I make that plainly known when answering those asks, and that donations are to be made at the reader’s discretion. This is to say that I put a lot of fucking work into answering every single ask, even asks sent by scammers, to appropriately post them with vetting information or evidence of scamming.

Do me the decency of doing the same if you have an accusation to bring forward, or shut the fuck up.
