My Thoughts On The Gang + Zenigata

Jigen is a brand name ONLY kinda bitch. He refuses to wear anything that isn't in at least the 3 digit price range. The thought of thrifting his clothes causes visible disgust, even for a disguise for a heist.

Lupin's first suit was gifted to him by either his father or his grandfather and that was the look he's rolled with ever since.

When Lupin is on a rant or facing a really intense emotion he'll start speaking rapidly in French, like a default setting. Get him flustered or pissed, either way you'll be hearing some colorful French

Ever since Jigen's fling with the ballerina (Part 2 Ep 58), he started learning Russian

Lupin is a naturally curious person, so in the same way people collect post cards from all the places they've visited, Lupin collects pocket encyclopedias about the places he's been.

Goemon is touch starved and Fujiko craves platonic affection = symbiotic friendship

The gang learned to traditionally make tea as a surprise for Goemon when he's upset

Bouncing off the brand name only Jigen idea, I like to think he's into fashion and WILL actively judge the gang and other people when they're out

Fujiko will join Jigen in judging people when they're out doing stuff

Lupin is weirdly good with yoyo tricks

Goemon loves dad jokes and will go back and forth with Lupin during car rides, Jigen is not a fan of said dad jokes

Goemon also has inhumanly impeccable comedic timing

Idk why but I feel like Lupin was a trains kid? Like he had obsession with them and that obsession moved onto different things.

Jigen left the US and his old life behind, to start over as a tattoo artist in Tokyo. The fact that his best friend has a secret identity as a thief, and his cute-florist-neighbour-who-he-definitely-doesn’t-have-a-crush on may have ties to the yakuza isn’t going to stop him from becoming an honest man. …Is it? 【ルパン三世フェスティバル in 浜中町】浜中町ルパン三世バーチャルツアー＆フェスレポート

漫画「ルパン三世」原作者であるモンキー・パンチ先生のふるさと北海道・浜中町で、3年ぶりに『ルパン三世フェスティバル』（2022年10月29日・30日）がリアル開催されました。フェスティバル会場の模様と、浜中町中や観光スポットで見つけることのできるルパン三世たちを【浜中町ルパン三世バーチャルツアー】としてご紹介します。

◎浜中町ルパン三世バーチャルツアーMAP

①ルパン三世通り（霧多布市街地）

ツアーは、浜中町役場がある霧多布（きりたっぷ）よりスタート。霧多布市街地の『ルパン三世通り』にはルパン・次元・五ェ門・不二子・銭形たちが描かれたフラッグや看板が掲げられています。

各キャラクターが描かれたマンホールのふたは、浜中町オリジナルのお土産としてキーホルダーも販売されています。 浜中町商工会：https://hamanaka-shoko.jp/pg937.html

通りにある仮想店舗「JIGEN’S BAR」「PUB FUJKO」は、ファンが必ず訪れる人気のフォトスポットです。

仮想映画館「霧多布座」は老朽化により2022年6月に取り壊しとなりましたが、復元ARとして現地で写真撮影ができます。

②霧多布市街地 店舗

霧多布市街のお店「鎌沢ドラッグ」さんにお邪魔しました。こちらは店内を飾るモンキー・パンチ先生のサインやルパン三世グッズ、ジオラマなど圧巻のコレクションで、現地を訪れるファンのサロン的存在のお店とのこと。この取材の際も、コスプレ姿のファンが見学をしていました。

市街には他にも店頭にルパン三世やモンキー・パンチ先生のサインが飾られているお店があります！

③浜中町役場 新庁舎

津波対策として高台に建てられている浜中町役場の新庁舎。役場までの案内板には、町の基幹産業である農・漁業ルックのルパン三世一味＆銭形警部の姿が描かれています。

通常は平日のみ見学可能な庁舎内ですが、今回はルパンフェスのため特別に見学することができました。

浜中町内の牧場にはモンキー・パンチ先生が描かれた妖精のイラストが看板となっている牧場も。

霧多布市街からJR花咲線・茶内（ちゃない）駅へ向かう一帯は約3000平方メートル（東京ドーム600個分以上）の広さをもつ霧多布湿原です。浜中町の自然を楽しみたい方は「霧多布湿原センター」で専門ガイド付きのエコツアーも開催しています。また、センターでは物産品と合わせ、浜中町オリジナルのルパン三世グッズも販売しています。

茶内駅をはなれ、釧路市～根室市を結ぶ国道44号線に向かうと見えてくるのは、表はルパン、裏は不二子のイラストが描かれた大きな案内板です。

車での観光の際はこの看板が浜中町の目印となります！

そのまま国道44号線を北上すると見えてくる茶内酪農展望台。 そのパーキングエリアにある酪農地域全体の案内板にもルパン三世が。

この他にも、浜中町内の酪農地域ごとに「ルパン三世」キャラクターと「妖精花伝説」のイラストが描かれた案内板があるようです。

⑩JR花咲線　浜中駅

国道44号線から再びJR花咲線に戻って＜浜中駅＞へ。 こちらの入口では誰かと待ち合わせしているような次元と五ェ門、そして駅舎内の切符売り場とホームには不二子とルパンの姿を見ることができます。

駅舎以外でもJR花咲線では大自然の中をルパン三世のラッピングトレインが運行しています。霧多布のラッピングタクシーなど、各種交通機関を合わせての観光もオススメです。

⑪ルパン三世フェスティバル会場（浜中町総合文化センター）

霧多布市街地へ戻り、フェス会場の浜中町総合文化センターにやって来ました。 駐車場ではラッピングトレーラーの展示や地元グルメ屋台の出店で賑わっています。

総合文化センター1��ロビーにあるルパン三世の愛車の展示コーナーでは、フェス中は特別に車のそばまで近づくことができたため、コスプレをしたファンなどたくさんの方が記念写真を撮りに集まっていました。

2階ではフェスティバルに合わせ TVアニメ「ルパン三世 PART6」ビジュアル展を開催。 ルパン三世グッズ販売や浜中町内で使えるルパン三世payの発行コーナーも設置されていました。

◎モンキー・パンチ・コレクション

文化センター2階にある常設施設「モンキー・パンチ・コレクション」にもフェス中たくさんの人が訪れていました。この中ではモンキー・パンチ先生の漫画原稿やイラストが多数展示されているほか、先生の書��を再現したスポットなど創作の原点を垣間見ることができ、浜中町を訪れるファンが必ず立ち寄る名所となっています。

◎「スペシャルトーク」ステージ

フェス2日目のラストには、声優陣と制作スタッフによる「スペシャルトーク」ステージが文化センター大ホールにて開催されました。

まず栗田さん、浪川さんが久しぶりとなった浜中町ステージでの挨拶、そして今回がフェス初参加の音響監督・清水さんも浜中町の印象を語り、和やかにトークがスタートしました。

今年8月に亡くなられた次元大介の声優 小林清志さんの話題では、栗田さんはアフレコ現場での小林さんとの最後の会話、浪川さんからは小林さんとの印象的なエピソードが語られました。 そして、今回のステージではサプライズとして次元大介の声優を引き継がれた大塚明夫さんからのビデオメッセージが紹介され、ステージでは「PART6」アフレコ時の様子など制作時のエピソードも飛び出しました。

続く浜中町ステージでのお楽しみ・生アフレコのコーナーでは、栗田さんと浪川さん、そして観客席から元気に手をあげた銭形警部姿のファンも参加し、音響監督の生指導の下で「PART6」第一話ラストシーンのアフレコを再現。見事にリリー役を演じた参加者に、栗田さんと浪川さんからは驚きと称賛の声があがり、会場からも大きな拍手が送られました。

最後のあいさつでは新しいメンバーも加わったルパン三世チームでまた浜中町を訪れたいと栗田さんが語り、温かな雰囲気の中ステージは幕を閉じ、「ルパン三世フェスティバル」の全日程が終了しました。

Lupin sneezed and blew his nose loudly. He threw his handkerchief in the trash can which was already full. Jigen and Goemon sighed. It had been like this since morning and Lupin insisted to say that he was fine. He wanted to settle the preparations for the theft of the diamond necklace that belonged to the Empress Sisi, which was to be exhibited in Vienna.

“Lupin,” Jigen said. “Let's take up again tomorrow. Go and take a rest.”

“The exhibition will take place in a week,” Goemon said. “It can wait until tomorrow.”

Lupin sneezed again and blew his nose. Soon, Jigen thought, the room would be overrun with handkerchiefs. And it was all Fujiko's fault. Jigen did not really know what happened. All he knew was that after following Fujiko, Lupin came back soaked.

“I told you it was a bad idea to follow her.”

Lupin blew his nose and threw away his handkerchief.

“You don't understand love.”

He may not understand love, but it was not him who was sick. There was a knock on the door and Fujiko entered. She was dressed in an elegant blue dress, ready to spend the evening in a luxurious place.

“Lupin,” she said happily, “I hope you're ready for the dinner you promised me.”

Lupin sneezed and Fujiko frowned.

“I'm coming Fujiko. Let me get ready and I promise you a special evening.”

He sniffed loudly and Fujiko made a face.

“You know what”, she said. “Let's have dinner another day. I have to go.”

She left as quickly as she had arrived.

“We really can't rely on her,” Jigen said.

The only response he got was Lupin blowing his nose.

Fujko took the bag the druggist gave her. She thanked him and left the drugstore to head for Lupin's hideout. She felt guilty because it was because of her that he was sick.

They had teamed up to steal a collector's gold coins who live in a villa by the sea. When running away, Fujiko started a motor boat, but she had not waited for Lupin, who had fallen into the sea, and had to swim away. Of course, she had kept the gold for herself, but she had not thought about the consequences it would have on him. As always, she thought.

She arrived at the hideout and opened the door. Jigen and Goemon were gone and the lights were off. Fujiko approached the couch and saw Lupin asleep. She knelt next to him and gently stroked his hair. He looked so innocent.

“Fujiko,” he said, still sleepy.

“I bought you medicine.”

“I knew you would come back.”

Despite all the dirty trick she did to him, he still trusted her. Just as she trusted him unreservedly. She continued to stroke his hair until he fell asleep. She was still in her beautiful dress, but it did not matter. She decided to stay with him that night. After all, she could do this for him.

Three Strengths

1. His marksmanship: Jigen can hit any target or make any trick shot. He was trained from a young age to be a killer, and determination to feed himself and stay alive only made him the best of the best. Jigen became the greatest gunman in the world, hired by royalty, armies, and mafias for various jobs. No matter the situation, Jigen always hit his mark. 

2. Weapons expertise: give Jigen and gun and he can fire it under 2 seconds. His mind is packed full with knowledge of how to operate a full arsenal of firearms. From anti-tank rifles to grenade, from Flintlock pistols to modern customizable sniper rifles. Jigen picks up a gun and immediately knows how to fire it. These skills make him an important asset to any team or boss.

3. His kindness: Jigen doesn’t always show it, but he has a kind heart. Despite his insistence that he hates women, Jigen could never turn down a girl in need, even if he knows it could get him killed. He’d protect Fujko, Goemon, and Lupin. He’s always there to cheer up a friend, or be a distraction if need be. He’s not great at talking about feelings, but he’d be there to lend an ear. He’s also one to tell it like it is. Sometimes, being straightforward is the best form of kindness. 

Three Weaknesses

1. Drinking and Smoking: Jigen has terrible habits. Smoking is his worst. He smokes at least a pack a day and gets horribly cranky when he doesn’t have a cigarette on hand. When he doesn’t have a full one, Jigen resorts to smoking & finishing whatever crumpled cigarette he can find. He also drinks heavily when depressed, or needs to forget whatever thoughts are haunting him that night.

2. Phasmophobia: poor Jigen is terrified of the things that go bump in the night. A firm believer in ghosts, ghouls, and demons, the gunman refuses to step anywhere that is “haunted”. 

3. His loyalty: one might think this is a strength, but for Jigen it’s his ball and chain. He’s incredibly loyal to Lupin, putting up with anything and going along on any heist. However, Lupin takes advantage of that loyalty a lot, and Jigen can’t bring himself to break away. He owes everything to Lupin, and despite his attempts to walk away, he will always come back again and again in order to save his friend. 

Three Secrets

1. He is horribly and helplessly in love with Lupin: it’s stupid, falling in love with your boss, and it’s never a good idea. Yet Jigen has fallen completely for Lupin’s bravado and character. Lupin actually cares about him. He was the first person to treat Jigen like he was something other than a gun, and God, who wouldn’t fall in love with the first person to make you laugh in years?

2. He genuinely enjoys effeminate things: perfumes, frilly dolls, pink suits, and flower bouquets. Jigen loves the softer side, but can’t bring himself to admit it to most people outside of his friendship circle.

3. Terribly touched starved: years of hurtful touches and abuse has left Jigen yearning for a kinder, tender touch. He wants nothing more than to be wrapped in strong arms and feel like he is face. Touch his face, run fingers through his hair. He misses it and wants it desperately again.

Three Fears

1. Being known: Jigen is like a brick wall. He’s been burned far too many times before and hardly seeks out new relationships. When thrust into a new situation, Jigen closes himself off and often doesn’t speak. He hates the idea of letting his deepest desires or fears be known to another person. He worries that they might be used against him in some way and that terrifies him.

2. Becoming useless: Jigen fears losing a hand, or developing early arthritis and losing his ability to shoot accurately. While he knows Lupin doesn’t think of him as a gun, shooting is the only thing Jigen is good at. If he loses that, what use will he have? 

3. Being replaced: A continuation of stated above, Jigen is terrified of being replaced. It’s happened before, and he honestly doesn’t think he could take it if it happened again. What would he do without what he has now? Being replaced would crush him and leave him with nothing.

Three Goals

Jigen only has one goal, and that’s to stick by Lupin’s side and continue having as much fun as he can until he can’t any longer.

🥃 Jigen doesn’t want to believe this. He can’t avoid the guilt falls on himself. If he would has been faster, he would has saved you from the disaster. Jigen felt die when your head crashed with the floor in the car accident.

🥃 Jigen doesn’t move away the hospital bed and when you open the eyes, he is dead of terror. Your eyes look at him as if they didn’t recognise him, the love spark isn’t. And Jigen fears the worst. And it’s your words that confirms it. “Who are you, sir?”. Jigen is a patient man and he will try to take this with calm.

🥃 There isn’t more robberies for both. Jigen takes you at your favourite safe house of Jigen. Is in calm and sunny place, its humble home but pretty beautiful. Jigen sighs of relief when your eyes shine excited for your new house. Jigen knows you don’t recognise it, but for his is enough you like it.

🥃 Jigen comforts himself that at least you aren’t dead.

🥃 Jigen does all home activities he used do with you: cook, walk in the park, watches series and TV. He’s a bit relief because your skills haven’t disappeared: you’re so good identifying music as always, especially classical music. And you have the necessity to listen Chopin. Jigen can’t restrain a half smile when you humble.

🥃 At first, the cohabitation is a bit tense. Jigen had very used to stay with you and suddenly his a strange for you. Jigen is nice and attentive. One day, catches you looking him. “What?”, he asks. You look away and a blush decorates your cheeks. It’s the first time you blush. You clear your throat and answer: “Nothing. I only was thinking about your beard… If it’s as smooth as it seems”.

🥃 Jigen takes gently your hand and carries it until his chin. Your fingers touch his black beard and you can’t avoid smile. “It is” you smile.

🥃 Jigen doesn’t know how but, one day, when you’re so comfortable to live with him. You run to him and hug him, he feels you’re shuddering and sobbing. Jigen is very worry but you look him and smile. “I remember you”.

 GOEMON

🎐 Goemon can’t believe this has happening. Is Lupin who call him to give the news, a terrible news. You have an accident and you’re in the hospital, something hit your head and you finished unconscious. Now, Goemon waits you awake.

🎐 He has been sleepless for days, when his eyelids fall in a second you is when you wake up. You jump and grab your sheets, look everywhere with fear. “What’s happened?” you murmur. Goemon stand up and approaches to you, he tries to calm you. Goemon raise a hand for caresses your hair like always but you set aside him with a slap. You glare him with fear and anger. “Who are you?”.

🎐 In this right moment, the doctor enter in your room and this provide a moment to Goemon. He is almost fainted and he wants to die. The doctor checks you and takes Goemon to speak with him. Everything point to you having amnesia. And she’s right. So, she recommends Goemon to you and him do normal life.

💎 Fujiko takes you at your house is near from the beach. Your eyes shine when you discover your home, is your dreamed house: white, simply, the aroma of the sea seeps through the windows and you can hear the waves break on the seashore.

💎 You explore the town with Fujiko, she takes you at your favourites restaurants and places. But she can’t takes you at the lighthouse where you confessed your feelings for Fujiko. She usually isn’t a patient woman, but with you she’s. She isn’t a great cook, but Fujiko makes a great effort to cook your favourites foods.
