#Rastellis #RastellisWagyuKobeStyleBurgerPatties #FrozenBurgerPattiesReview
I tried the Rastelli's Wagyu Kobe Style Burger Patties and these were pretty good.
This was skillet cooked then later microwaved and the burger patty was seasoned with onions.
This burger was a little greasy but not dry tasting.
This burger patty was firm and soft while also easy to eat with a light beef taste.
This burger patty didn't taste corny in a after taste so this might have been grass fed beef and this burger tasted natural to me which is a first for me.
This burger patty tasted high quality and the onions were soft in texture when cooked with the burger.
This was lightly salty to me.
I would eat this again but as a real burger.
Got Online.

🍔 Review № 570 ━ 📍 Duck Season ★☆☆☆☆ • Duck Season is a popup restaurant in New York that can be found at various food markets and events, such as Smorgasburg where we tries their burgers. As the name implies, most of their menu contains duck, and during our visit they had three duck burgers, a few sandwiches and french fries with different toppings. We ordered a Duck Bacon Cheeseburger for 16 USD, with a 140-gram Angus beef patty, cheese, duck bacon, fried onions, pickles and sauce. • Our order took quite a long time before arriving, and then it turned out that they’d given us the wrong food, meaning that we had to wait even longer. The bun was nice and fluffy at least, and we were really looking forward to a great meal. Unfortunately we were left disappointed after our first bite, as the patty was extremely watery. We’re guessing that they’ve pre-formed their patties and frozen them before service, and that tasty flavour from fresh beef was missing completely. Tastewise both the bun and the meat was burnt, and most other ingredients such as the vegetables and sauce – were cold, which really ruined the experience. • This was such a shame, as the duck bacon was a tasty and interesting ingredient that we really appreciated. It was clear that we had chosen the wrong dish completely, because their side-dish with french fries, duck and poutine looked absolutely amazing with golden fries and an appetizing topping. If you run across them in New York we’d recommend that you choose one of their sides instead and skip the burger completely. ━ @duckseasonnyc #burger #burgers #burgertime #burgerporn #burgerdudes #burgerlovers #food #foodie #hamburger #hamburgare #newyork #newyorkburgers #🍔 #🍟 #🇺🇸 (at Smorgasburg) https://www.instagram.com/p/ChRPrFJDcL8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Weird McDonald’s Menu Items You Can Only Eat in These 8 Countries
by Dale Harris
Pairing high-quality photos with customer reviews is the best way to gain credibility in restaurant marketing. With foods as aesthetic as the tomato-basil fries and even cheesecake, it’s no wonder that McDonald’s locations across the world have gained notoriety for variety.
Here are our top 8 weird McDonalds items you can only find around the world.
1. Bulgogi Burger in South Korea
The bulgogi burger in South Korea mixes the sweet, savory beef of bulgogi in a classic American-style burger package. As far as weird McDonalds items go, the bulgogi burger sounds like a delicious escapade for us.
2. Aoili Fries in Australia
In Australia, you can enjoy classic McDonald’s fries with a twist. These loaded BBQ aoili fries offer a new spin on spice to match the salt-infused treat. Ready to try these?
In consistent McDnald’s fashion, you can try these fries for $3.55. Check it out here.
3. Spain’s Grand Big Mac Chicken
For all you chicken loves, the Grand Big Mac Chicken replaces traditional beef patties with breaded chicken. Only available in Spain and other European countries, this McSandwich features special sauce instead of mayonnaise.
4. Red Velvet Cake in Malaysia
We recommend traveling to Malaysia for its abundance of foods to try, including street food specialties. But what about its McDonald’s?
At McDonald’s in Malaysia, you can enjoy red velvet cake along with cookies & cream cheesecake. Expanding the menu to include higher-end desserts? We’re on-board with Malaysian McDonald’s for sure!
5. Weird McDonalds Items in China
The taro pie in China features the sweetness of the taro root in a dessert. A common practice in East Asia, the taro root brings a unique taste to a new McDonald’s dessert.
Believe it or not, the mashed potato burger in China doesn’t get rid of the classic beef patty. Instead, it adds a layer of mashed potatoes to the burger. This is a win for potato lovers like us!
6. Japan’s Ebi Burger
This shrimp tempura burger features ebi saunce on a bun. Tempura is a popular Japanese dish that features shrimp dipped and covered in panko crumbs.
Also dubbed the Filet-o-Shrimp, the classic shrimp tempura sauce featured here is already making us drool.
7. The Netherland’s Stroopwafel McFlurrey
The Netherland’s Stroopwafel McFlurrey features wafer cone pieces and caramel. Slightly chilled caramel paired with crunchy wafer cones make this one of our must-tries. Sounds like a frozen win to us!
8.Germany’s McNürnburger
In Germany, the McNürnburger brings bratwurst into the classic McDonald’s burger. Instead of a beef burger, enjoy classic bratwurst sausages on a McDonald’s bun.
Trusted Food, Around the World
While McDonald’s may not be at the top of your list for global cuisine, McDonald’s worldwide menu items can often give you a quick glimpse into cultures around the world.
McDonald’s worldwide revenue in 2019 was $21.03 billion. Exploring weird McDonald’s items can offer the perfect taste to their success. We trust that McDonald’s knows what they are doing when it comes to cuisine worldwide.

dinner @ Copper Branch
To empower, energize.. & make ppl feel their best --> via 100% plant-based food is the motto of Copper Branch, a new family member of Edmonton downtown dining scene. I’m fairly sure they opened within a month ago, & last night, I went to try it out with Mishma & her husband.
[Disclaimer: I’m not familiar with vegan or just. .. umm non-regular diets, in general. But after An Chay, the Buddhist vegan Vietnamese restaurant, I feel more open towards trying “non-regular” restaurants/foods. I know they’re becoming more popular these days but tbh, other than being open & trying them out, I don’t see myself going to these places unless someone else recommends them to me or I’m simply going to try it out with someone else that has also never gone before & would like to try. I have nothing against it.. . just not my style of eating, & I’m fortunate that I don’t have any restrictions that would require me to be on any “non-regular” diets. Therefore, what I’m saying is. .. just treat this post as an introduction to a new restaurant that’s in town, rather than expecting a somewhat thorough ‘review’ like what I do for other places.]
Rest of the store-front.
I don’t remember what was at this spot before Copper Branch opened. .. but I am certain I have not been inside it before. The restaurant is much longer & deep than what I had expected. My favourite part of the interior was these copper lights haha
Upon your entrance, you’re greeted with a little self-serve station on your left, & you’ll face an arrangement of tables & chairs. To the right of this photo (or you can think of it as the area adjacent from my seat) is the kitchen.
Here is the rest of the restaurant. There is another (but slightly larger) self-serve station; you can pick up utensils, water, & napkins here. Behind that is a short row of dining tables. The area back here is much quieter, so you’re looking for a space for yourself to study or read while enjoying some food, I would recommend this back space of the restaurant.
I’ve used the term “restaurant” a few times in this post in regards to Copper Branch already, but I’m not sure if it’s the most appropriate term. They have this digital menu on top of their kitchen/cashier counter, & also a paper form (in the style of a take-out menu). I think a “fast restaurant” is the best term to describe its nature. Places like these, tbh, I never know if I should tip or not. .. so I tipped very little. They basically just make your food & then call your name & you pick it up on a tray at their serving counter so. .. to me, it’s not really “service”. & like I said earlier, everything else is self-serve anyway.
Anyway, their menu. Same as online, except the online menu does not include prices. Their menu is quite limited but covers all the main areas: breakfast, soup/salads, burgers, sandwiches, power bowls (which are their main entrees) sides & a small selection of drinks & desserts.
They also have a smoothie section, & these are made fresh. What I don’t have in photo form is their small-ish fridge to the left of their cashier counter. In the fridge, they keep their desserts (you pay & then just grab one from the fridge yourself), & bottled drinks, ranging from coconut water to juices.
Alright, this is Mishma’s food, the Aztec bowl with tempeh as her protein. I actually had no idea what tempeh is until last night. .. After doing some basic reads on it, it can be summarized as “pressed soybean cake” - where soybeans are prepared, fermented, & then pressed into a stiff cake form. It’s supposed to be very dense in texture, & I definitely agree after trying it. Even cooked, it’s still dense. I was not a fan. I didn’t try anything else in her bowl but she liked it, all the ingredients are visible so you can tell what it is, & the noodles she selected was konjac noodles.
Spicy black bean burger. The patty contains: black beans, sweet potato, pea protein, brown rice, red & green pepper, & corn. Much smaller than it looks in real life.. . Mishma’s husband finished it in several bites =/
Poutine with mushroom sauce. Got this to share bcos I wanted to try it but I didn’t want to JUST eat it lol this was actually really delicious & my favourite thing of the evening! The potatoes were cubed as opposed to fries form, which I thought was great. The buckwheat cream sauce tasted like gravy. Not a traditional thick gravy, but a less intense one with some spiciness to it, so it was highly addicting. Not sure what the “ mozzarella shreds” were; however, texture was similar to the soft cheese you find in poutines. I highly recommend this!
My General Copper bowl. It’s a built bowl so there’s no ‘options’ attached to it. I got it bcos . .. it was the least adventurous thing ever haha notice I got poutine & basically an Asian stir-fry over brown rice here?
Everything in my bowl was good; I mean, the sauce was like a basic teriyaki sauce, broccoli is broccoli, avocado remains as avocado & the sriracha coleslaw was . .. a slightly spicy coleslaw. BUT the shiitake mushroom.. .? I don’t know if the ‘meat’ was the mushroom or not bcos the texture was terrible. To me, anyway. It was really weird. .. like the best description I could give is a stiffer/denser/harder version of fish balls that you use for hotpot. You know, the frozen ones that you get from supermarkets? Yeah. .. it was not good =( the rest was .. .average. Wouldn’t get it again.
Mmmm the poutine was good but .. . yeah, unlikely revisiting bcos it’s not my style of food & the texture of the mushroom(?) was too funky for me. 7/10.

Hamburger Restaurant Dine In-Guidelines
What is the best hamburger in New York City? While there are many great choices, each restaurant has a different style. Luckily, there are many resources available online to help you make an informed decision. You can compare ingredients, serving size, and the nutritional value of the hamburger at each restaurant. In addition to the size, you can compare the flavors and textures of the burger. If you want to avoid fat and saturated fat, you can find the best burger in New York City by using this guide.
When it comes to authenticity, you can't go wrong with Burger King. Their patties are never frozen, and they're thick, juicy, and grilled to perfection. This burger is a perfect example of what a good burger should be. This restaurant makes the burgers with the highest quality ingredients. If you're in the mood for something a little different, try the Burger King's specialty patty.
The Dean of Restaurant Reviewers of San Diego visited each of the three burger joints and ordered a burger for himself. While he paid for his visits with his own money, he visited each restaurant and inspected the kitchens. He also talked to the short-order cooks to get a feel for the culture behind the hamburger. It's important to remember that the best burgers don't come from McDonald's or White Castle, so the quality of the food is vital.
In order to make the perfect hamburger, you need to know how to make it from scratch. There's no substitute for experience, and the experts at Burger Factory are here to help you out. You'll love the variety of burgers that they have to offer. They're also the perfect place to meet up with your friends. You'll find them on Facebook and Twitter. While it's not the best Hamburger Restaurant in the world, there are a few things that you should always look for in a hamburger. You may find more details about this at hamburger restaurant dine in.
In order to make the best burger in NYC, you must visit a burger restaurant. This restaurant is one of the best in NYC, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The hamburger was originally invented in New York City in the 1820s. It was named after the North Sea port of Hamburg. It was sold to German sailors on Chambers Street. The burger counter in this famous burger restaurant in Detroit, Michigan is impossibly small. The three vertical broilers are stacked one above the other, with a separate room for assembly. The beef patties are placed in a hinged two-sided grill rack and inserted into gas-powered side-firing broilers. The burgers are then topped with onions and served immediately. During the cooking process, the burgers are cooked in the middle of the kitchen, with juices flowing onto a collection pan below.
If you're looking for a classic hamburger, Louis' Lunch in Portland is the place to go. The burgers are served on a Brioche bun, and the fries are classic and delicious. While Louis' Lunch is a local favorite, it isn't the only hamburger restaurant in the world. It's a popular chain with locations all over the country. You can find a burger sandwich at the Butterfly and St. Anselm in Portland.

A burger in So Cal better Than In-N-Out!
What is usually the most missed food when you leave California? In-N-Out burgers are at the top of the list. But there are so many burger places in Southern California to explore. My favorite may not sound like a burger place - and I didn't find it initially in Southern California, but in my humble opinion and as much as I love a good In-N-Out burger, I have to say my favorite burger is from Shake Shack!
SHAKE SHACK
I first learned about this place while in Las Vegas for a business trip and needed a quick bite to eat (well actually I had just planned to get a shake). This was right next to my hotel and super convenient and not too expensive. I figured they were known for their shakes (the name),so I was not expecting to get hooked on their burgers!
When I walked in I was asked if it was my first time there, and then I was given an overview of their menu and informed they were famous for their ShackSauce on their classic burger. Also they said their fries and frozen custard were very popular. This was not what I was expecting from a Shake place. I had just planned to get a chocolate malt, but figured, I need to try this famous sauce on their famous burger.
CHOICES CHOICES CHOICES
There are so many choices for burgers, and I am sure they are all great. But I asked what they suggested and I was told that the most famous product at the store was the ShackBurger, available in single or double. It’s a very basic burger with a beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and then their proprietary sauce known as Shack Sauce. I tell you, it’s just perfectly made. Super juicy, and a perfect mix of all the ingredients. There are other choices such as chicken burgers, hot dogs, frozen custards and several beverages customized to the local flavors of the city in which they operate.
Then there were those fries! Crinkle cute and the perfect amount of crispy, soft, and salty goodness!
One of my favorite desserts is a chocolate malt, which tend to be hard to find and the reason I went to this restaurant in the first place. I have to say, it was one of the best chocolate malts I have had.
HISTORY OF SHAKE SHACK
A little history - Shake Shack originally started in New York City in 2000 and today they have an average store revenue of 4 million, which is more than twice that of McDonald’s average store revenue in the US. Lines can stretch to over an hour during peak tourist times in the summer.
They have since grown to 250 location globally, and I am happy to report they have one near me in Southern California.
They have been reviewed as having some of the best shakes in the industry, but I have to say - it’s the burger for me!
I am hooked on Shake Shack and bet you will be too once you try their signature burger, but go ahead and add a shake - you will be counting down the time until you can go back!

🍔 Review № 489 ━ 📍 Destination Gotland ★☆☆☆☆ • Destination Gotland is the largest transporter of people, bars and goods between the Swedish island Visby and the mainland destinations Nynäshamn (outside of Stockholm), Oskarshamn or Västervik. And just like with a lot of other modes of transportation you don’t have that many dining options, so we felt compelled to try their burger when we were on the ferry. Their “Öjburgare” burger cost 159 SEK (18 USD) and consisted of meat and bread from Gotland, and came served with cheese, bacon and caramelized onions plus an order of french fries and a dipping sauce. • The ferry’s restaurant concept reminded us of a school lunch. so we weren’t too surprised to see that the patties looked like pre-frozen patties that had been reheated. They looked utterly bland and tasted like they’d been kept in a heater oven, waiting to be assembled (even though the menu said “à la minute”). The patties were also extremely compact and had only been fried on one side. The bun was nice at least, and it was evident that they’d used an artisanal bakery, even though it was a bit mangled. The cheese was soft and gooey, and the bacon tasted nice even though it could have been crispier. The best part of the burger was the caramelized onions, but there was just a miniscule amount of it in the middle of the burger. • We lucked out with the french fries at least, which were golden fried, crispy and excellently seasoned. We recommend that you choose something else from Destination Gotland’s menu (preferably with some fries), because the burger is definitely not worth your time. ━ @destgotland #burger #burgers #burgertime #burgerporn #burgerdudes #burgerlovers #food #foodie #hamburger #hamburgare #visby #visbyburgers #🍔 #🍟 #🇸🇪 (at Destination Gotland, Nynäshamn) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUCFsr7DMqW/?utm_medium=tumblr

Kelowna
Saturday
Leading up to our trip to BC’s interior, we were concerned we might need to call it off due to the multitude of wildfires plaguing the area. Fortunately, as we got closer to our travel date, the fires seemed to be avoiding Kelowna.
The morning of our trip, we packed our bags, stopped by Livia cafe for breakfast, and were on our way. While the drive began well, we were soon delayed by the horrible traffic between Langley and Abbotsford. Quite a bit frustrated, we finally made it out of the traffic jam after half an hour and were on on way with only a couple of restroom and gas stops.
We made it to Kelowna around 5 and ventured to the Eastern edge of the city to our AirBnB in Rutland. The basement suite was quite lovely with a private entrance, a large bedroom, an comfortable great room and kitchen, and a washroom with laundry machines.
We dropped off our stuff and quickly headed back to downtown Kelowna for dinner, as I foolishly only had a pastry for breakfast. We found a cool looking spot called Gather that had Korean and Italian food, but without a reservation, we weren’t getting in. Instead we wandered over to BNA Brewing which had a small food stand inside called BoxcAr. Ivy had a Noodle Salad while I had a Root Beer Pork Banh Mi, both of which were delicious.
After dinner we walked around the area a bit before retreating from the heat back to our car and our suite.
Sunday
We slept in a little bit, but not so late to miss out on our planned hike in the morning. We were on our way to the Myra Canyon Trestle Trail along Kettle Valley Railway, but got fed up once we realized we’d have to drive on a gravel logging road for several kilometers. We quickly turned back and parked at the KLO Creek Regional Park and walked along the creek for a couple of hours.
It was a nice hike, but we were pretty famished afterwards because we skipped breakfast, so we headed into town and stopped by Bright Jenny Coffee Roasters for a muffin and some cold brew coffees. It was a really nice space in an industrial area with a relaxed vibe to it.
After our coffees, we drove around and checked out the hilltop residences to kill some time before going to see a movie to beat the heat a bit. We watched Old by M. Night Shayamalan (check out my other blog for my review). After some groceries, we went out for an early dinner at Salt & Brick, a tapas restaurant with a rotating menu. We had a Lobster Roll, Confit Duck, Yam and Salami Waffle Cone, and Fried Halloumi, which were all really tasty. Afterwards we stopped for some Frozen Yogurt at TRU in the Mission District.
Monday
Ivy had a short Zoom class Monday morning with a student trying to brush up before a quiz, so we stopped by Third Space Coffee in the Landmark development for a quick breakfast. We both had Nitro Cold Brews and Chocolate Croissants, which were underwhelming. However, the outdoor patio space was incredible and allowed us the chance to chill before her class.
Amazingly, the class only lasted 15 minutes, so we were quickly up and out again. We drove around West Kelowna for a while to kill time before our appointment at Mission Hill for a private lunch and a tour of the wine cellar. The lunch consisted of a Shrimp and Sea Asparagus starter, a Chicken with Morels and Gnocchi main, and a Apricot and Cornmeal Cake dessert. Each course was pair with a different wine - Sauvignon Blanc, Reserve, and Ice Wine - our favourite of which was the Ice Wine.
After a bit of a rest back at the suite, we took some salads we bought at the grocery store to Gyro beach along Lake Okanagan for a relaxing evening. While the water was cold, the beach was very sandy, making for a lovely experience. Oddly the lake was very shallow, with the water only ever making it up to our waists despite going past the buoys.
Tuesday
We started early with a trip to Kempf Orchards for some cherry picking. We got about 8 pounds of Lapin cherries before calling it quits and heading to Sprout Bread and Coffee in the Cultural District for an Iced Coffee, Long Black, and Blueberry Danish. We explored the cultural district and visited the Kelowna Art Gallery and Mosaic Books before returning to Gather (this time with a reservation) for lunch. Ivy had the Bibimbap while I had the Kimchi Orzo. We shared the frites platter as a starter which included some delicious fried gnocchi.
After lunch, we headed back to the suite, as Ivy had a 3 hour class. I spent the bulk of this time checking out book and comic stores unsuccessfully trying to track down some specific comics. Once I got back, I relaxed while Ivy finished her class. Afterwards, we stopped by Parlour Ice Cream for a couple of scoops each. I had the bubble gum and creamsicle in a cone, mainly for nostalgia reasons, while Ivy had the Vanilla and Whiskey Hazelnut.
After ice cream, we drove to Shannon Lake with the hopes of finding a quiet spot to swim, but it turned out to be quite swampy, so we just took some photos instead. We ended up back at Lake Okanagan, but at a more remote beach - Sarsons Beach Park. This once was a lot quieter than Myra, but the beach and lake were much rockier.
Wednesday
After packing, we went back to Sprout for the same drinks we had the day before and a Monkey Bread and Chocolate Croissant. We continued our exploration of the Cultural District by strolling Kasugai Gardens before heading to Kelowna Fruit Stand for some fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our final stop before leaving was Frankie, We Salute You!, a vegetarian restaurant located in the Landmark business park. This place was really popular and we only avoided a long wait by getting there around 11:45am. We each had a cocktail - with Ivy having a Watermelon Basil Margarita and I having the Blood Orange Ginger Lemonade with Gin. Ivy had the mushroom patty burger with vegan cheese and sesame fries while I had a Buffalo tempeh caesar wrap with sesame fries. Everything tasted great and proved that good vegetarian food doesn’t need to try and pretend it’s meat.
After lunch, we headed back, with the same traffic jam between Abbotsford and Langley. Once we passed that bottleneck, it was smooth sailing again before we got home and relaxed.
All in all it was a great trip. We’ll definitely be back soon if only to experience the sandy beach and great vegetarian food again.

"BIGGIES BURGER N MORE" ( REVIEW NO. 1 )
Well, we all love Burgers, who doesn't.
It's time to review one of the best burger joints in the town of Kolkata.
"Biggies Burger" having lots of branches all over Kolkata from Russel Street, Jessore Road, Salt Lake till Behala.
We went for a review of the outlet which is located at Behala Tram Depot.
Our reviews will be broken down into five parts as follows: -
1.Ambiance 2.Hospitality 3.Taste 4.Hygiene 5. Cost-Effectiveness
1) AMBIANCE.
So, the foremost is the Ambiance, we didnn't like the outer ambiance, because it is located at a very cluttered area, though it is above the main road, but still the entrance remains undecorated. Speaking about the interior of the café, it's good. There is a vibe of a fast-food chain all around, doodling of different forms of loaves of bread gives a very healthy and exciting mood tilt, and a world map with the brand colours used in it is up to the mark.
However, the colors of chairs could have been better in terms of the interior colors used around, the dark brown chair colors give a bit back set in the mind.
All together we will mark Ambiance: - 15 out of 20
2) HOSPITALITY
One thing which we really like is the "SELF-SERVE" like KFC
At the time of ordering the explanation of each and every dish was very clear and understandable.
Politeness, courtesy, and behaviour are somethings that hold the integral from of attraction.
However, due to shortage of working staff, if there is more crowd then the staff gets a bit overwhelmed at times.
Overall, we can rate in Hospitality: - 16 out of 20
3) TASTE
Now, the ultimate answer of every food blogger, the taste.
The filling of the burgers was no doubt good, but yes other than the Jumbo Burger, if you want to try some other burger you need to have a side dish to really fill up your belly.
A lot of people might not know the difference between a frozen patty and a fresh patty, let me clear it out. First if you are up to a really good tasty burger, you should try Biggies Burger because the patty was fresh which nearly changes the taste towards the good side.
You will get a slightly Smokey aroma while you’re here , many don't like that but I personally like it a lot.
The lettuce leaf was not so fresh like the patty which decreased the taste a bit.
The proportion of sauce in the burger was not proper, we felt the sauce was a bit extra.
The bun was literally soft turning the burger to bite and chew properly.
The overall rating of Taste will be: - 17 out of 20
4) Hygiene: -
Hygiene was no doubt properly maintained as we went there before the pandemic so sanitization was not compulsory.
Apart from that, proper hand gloves, clean and clear.
We went into the kitchen and noticed everything very nice clean and clear.
The cafe interior was neat and had a beautiful smell of burgers.
Overall rating in hygiene will be: - 20 out of 20
5) Cost-Effectiveness: -
No doubt Biggies burger consisting of a huge number of varieties with different pricing slabs has become one of the pocket-friendly, however, some of the prices apart from the Burgers we felt were slightly higher than any other places in Kolkata.
Rating of Cost-Effectiveness is: - 14 out of 20
So according to us the overall rating keeping in mind the 5 Factors for Biggies Burger 'n' More is - 82 out of 100.
We have attached some of the pictures below, you can have a look for a better understanding.

#Rastellis #RastellisBlackAngusTripleBlendBeefCraftBurgerPatties #FrozenBurgerPattiesReview
I tried the Rastelli's Black Angus Triple Blend Beef Craft Burger Patties and these were pretty good.
This was skillet cooked then later microwaved and the burger patty was seasoned.
This burger patty was firm and soft while also easy to eat with a light beef taste.
This burger patty didn't taste corny in a after taste so this might have been grass fed beef and this burger tasted natural to me which is a first for me.
This burger patty tasted high quality.
This was lightly salty to me.
I would eat this again but as a real burger.
Got Online.

🍔 Updated review ━ 📍 Marie Laveau ★★☆☆☆ • When craft burgers first came to Stockholm, the bar burger at Marie Laveau quickly became popular, and was often name-dropped back in 2012. But several burger joints had surpassed them when we reviewed them at the end of 2014, and we just weren’t that impressed any more. Marie Laveau actually closed down back in 2017, but they’ve recently reopened with a new menu. Their restaurant on Hornsgatan was a bit more basic and dark than before, and they now offered two burgers (plus the option to replace the beef patty with a chicken or vegetarian option). We ordered the Bacon and Cheese Burger for 159 SEK (18 USD), including french fries, a dip plus a coleslaw. • The waiter served the burger with a smile, but the one on our faces quickly faded when we saw what we were about to eat. The beef patty looked like a pre-formed frozen variety, with its even texture and grey colour. Sure, it didn’t taste awful, but a restaurant that serves burgers like these in 2021 really don’t care. The large bun tasted very little, but was very fluffy. The vegetables were fresh and crispy, but were still cold from the refrigerator, and the regular burger sauce was a bit too sweet. The bacon was really nice and crispy, and turned out to be the highlight of our meal. The french fries were covered in dill, with an aioli on the side, and tasted really nice. They were a bit undercooked, but much tastier than the burger. • We’re afraid that Marie Laveau serve a regular and boring pub burger nowadays, taking shortcuts in the kitchen rather than preparing meals with love. The old burger pioneer is long gone, and burger lovers have no reason to return. ━ @marielaveaustockholm #burger #burgers #burgertime #burgerporn #burgerdudes #burgerlovers #food #foodie #hamburger #hamburgare #stockholm #stockholmburgers #sthlm #sthlmburgers #🍔 #🍟 #🇸🇪 (at Marie Laveau Stockholm) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWkr1j9D2jH/?utm_medium=tumblr

After about 20 years, I finally got a new BBQ grill. I had been threatening the family that I would do it, and I finally went ahead and got myself an “early Father’s Day gift.” The funny thing is, my daughters are not huge fans of meat. They are ok with chicken, somewhat, and fish, and even pork occasionally. So, they were incredibly excited to try out some Impossible Food burgers (and I was quite curious to see how the grilling and taste experience of the Impossible Burgers would be as well). (*Disclosure below.) Both of my younger daughters have taken an Environmental Science class in high school. And both of them have come out of these classes saying, “we have to eat less meat!” and they would rattle off a bunch of scientific and environmental reasons that were a bit over my head. Impossible has actually created an entertaining and educational website for kids to learn how to educate their backward and old-fashioned parents (like me) about the importance of keeping our planet healthy. Just take a look at The Birds and the Trees and there are several simple chapters that discuss various items designed to help talk to parents about climate change. Below is the teaser video from that site: I trust my kids to keep me on track when it comes to the environment and saving the planet. So, they have, as I said, been pushing us to eat less red meat. I’m a huge hamburger fan…so I was a bit reluctant. But I’m willing to try new things. My response was, “ok, well, give me something that smells, tastes, and acts like a burger, and we will grill that.” What is Impossible Foods anyway? How can you have something that looks, cooks, and tastes like a burger but has no red meat in it at all? First, let me say that I normally write about tech and gadgets on my site. So, writing about food…how does that work? Well, there is A LOT of technology involved in the creation of Impossible Foods non-meat, meat. It’s all about Food Technology. According to Impossible, there is an essential molecule called Heme which is in every living plant and animal. This molecule supposedly “makes meat taste like meat” but is also present in plants, just not a prevalently. It is an iron-containing molecule that exists in your blood and grabs oxygen from your lungs, and distributes it throughout your body. According to Pat Brown, founder and CEO at Impossible Foods, the craving for meat is actually the body’s craving for Heme and the iron and protein that it represents in the diet. So, all of this is science-based. Impossible’s mission is to be scalable, sustainable, and safe yet produce yummy plant-based meats in the process. I highly recommend you read more about the science and technology behind the making of Impossible Foods and Impossible Burgers (there are other Impossible products as well, like sausage and pork – all made from plants). What are Impossible Burgers REALLY Like? So, what are Impossible Burgers REALLY like? Could you trick someone into thinking they were eating or even cooking a traditional meat-based burger instead of a plant-based burger? I’m going to go out on a limb here as say YES. I received a sample pack of Impossible Burgers and ground “meat” to test it all out. And, since I’m a burger fan, I went straight to telling the family we would be having burgers for dinner, AND, that it would be the maiden voyage of my new grill. I will walk you through the unpacking and cooking process. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to smell or taste the end result, so I hope that the pictures will help fill in the blanks. You can purchase the Impossible Burgers in pre-measured burgers that are ready to cook. (I haven’t tested out the ground meat version yet…perhaps on a taco night or if I make spaghetti.) As I went through the process of cooking the Impossible Burgers, I kept coming across some great differentiators and even a few advantages. Here’s one: you don’t have to thaw out the Impossible Burger fully. Yes, you can just put it on the grill frozen if you need to. It does help to thaw it out – I did that by just leaving them overnight in the refrigerator. With meat-based burgers, it is usually recommended that you don’t cook frozen meat patties because you have to ensure the meat is cooked well enough to kill out bacteria. Guess what? Impossible Burgers aren’t meat, so you don’t have to be as religious about cooking to that pre-defined temperature to kill that bacteria. I wouldn’t recommend under-cooking anything though. To cook the Impossible Burgers, it is 2 minutes per side at Medium-High to High heat for thawed patties. For frozen ones, it’s 4 minutes per side. If you have the ground-up version of the Impossible meat, you can add your own spices, or onions, or hot peppers, or whatever to it. For my initial test, we just did the pre-measured burgers as I said – we would add the other assortments later. The raw Impossible Burgers actually look and feel like burgers. They are not a single consistency nor color, and they even seem to have “fat” globules within the “meat.” To my unprofessional eye, they looked like meat burgers…they were even a bit “bloody!” After heating the grill, I just slapped the Impossible Burgers on. They popped and sizzled and smoked just the way you would expect a meat burger to. There were even little flare-ups from the grill. After a few minutes (I actually waited more than 2 minutes for the first side as this was my first time grilling Impossible Burgers), I flipped them over. My new grill was able to make some great sear marks! I continued to cook them – things were smokey and smelling great – just like what you would expect. Next came the cheese! And I toasted some artisanal buns as well. The one thing that I did notice about grilling the Impossible Burgers was that they didn’t shrink as much as traditional meat burgers. I honestly hated when I grilled regular burgers, and they would shrink up and be essentially hidden in the bun. The Impossible Burgers pretty much maintained their size – so when you had your burger, it was truly a burger and not a bun with some meat in it. You can clearly see this in the photo above (and I did actually overcook the Impossible Burgers slightly – but they didn’t shrink). Next up came all of the garnishes! We kept things pretty traditional with condiments, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Next time, I will probably experiment more with different types of toppings like hot peppers or grilled onions or something like that – my mouth is watering just writing this! So what about the Impossible Burger taste? I have to say, I really liked the Impossible Burger. It had the consistency of a meat burger (even even though I over-cooked it slightly). You can, actually, have the Impossible Burger be a bit pink in the middle – remember, it’s not meat. It smelled, tasted, and chewed like a meat burger. So much so that I actually had two of them. And how did my family like them? They loved them! And, my daughters were happy to be eating something that was plant-based and sustainable. To be completely candid, I had tried another plant-based meat burger. It was pretty good as well. But, one of my daughters and I both got quite gassy a few hours later. Hmmm. Did that happen with the Impossible Burger? Nope! And I wolfed down two of them. I will leave you with the image above to make your mouth water and get you hungry! I do highly recommend you go to your local supermarket (or you can order directly from Impossible) and pick up a grilling pack of patties.
