Hey girlies ,

About 3 years ago I read a fanfic on Wattpad about hermonie grangers twin and her love interest was Fred Weasley . I remember that a song for one of the chapters was hood on till may by pierce the veil . I’ve forgotten the name of the fanfic but it’s troubled me for ages about the name of it because I would give anything to read it again . What I re,her about the book is that her,knows twin is adopted ? And hermoine really doesn’t like her . She is an original character and I think she was described to have blue streaks in her hair . The original character also has mental health issues.

Curtains, the first of several Kander and Ebb musicals to premiere after the death of Fred Ebb, is legendarily troubled.

Peter Stone had written the novel, and was commissioned to write the book of the musical; however, he died in 2003. Rupert Holmes was brought in to rewrite the book, but along with John Kander had to do lyrics too, as lyricist Fred Ebb died in 2004, meaning that 2/3 of the original creative team had died by the time of its Broadway premiere in 2007. It did reasonably well, running 511 performances and winning the best actor Tony for David Hyde Pierce. However, none of this would be as ironic (or legendary) if Ebb and Stone had not both died during the production of a musical that was a backstage murder mystery (and pretty much the only well known musical whodunnit at that).

The first song that Kander wrote solo lyrics for after Ebb was the ballad ‘Coffee Shop Nights’, and Hyde Pierce has said that it was when he heard that tape that he decided to take the role. It’s certainly a moment of heart in what is otherwise a big blousy show - take a listen.
