Halloween sequel concept. Happy Halloween

I came up with a hypothetical continuation of the DGG timeline.

A sequel where Silver Shamrock is operated by the Cult of Thorn. One night when Laurie and Hopkins leave Haddonfield. They take Michael's mask.

They use Michael's mask as a progenitor. Mass produce Halloween masks and the masks transfer Michael's evil into whoever wears them. A whole movie of killer kids, cults, and mobs slashing up Haddonfield until you realize - the masks were sold worldwide

The title: Happy Halloween

I was trolling through my discarded WIPs folder and found this snippet I wrote once for an old story. I really like how it turned out, upon rereading! But I really don't know how I would continue it; it sounds like a good intro, but it definitely takes place in medias res, as it were. 😅 I figured I'd just share it to you guys. Feel free to speculate in the comments! What do you think is happening/would happen next?

(The setting is the Old West, in case that isn't fully apparent! Also, Shray is an alien. Her species was manufactured by other aliens by blending human DNA with an alien reptile. Frank Hopkins is a human gunfighter/bounty hunter.)

“You sure this thing’ll work?” Frank asked, fingering the revolver holstered at his side. He cast a twitchy glance out over the desert horizon.

Standing a few yards in front of him was the strangest contraption he had ever laid eyes on: all shiny silver metal and crooked antennae and beeping, lit-up panels. And standing next to the contraption was the strangest person he had ever laid eyes on: a dusky-skinned human woman, except that her arms, legs, and tail resembled some ancient green lizard’s. Not that this phased him anymore. Frank had always been good at adapting to his circumstances, and never in his life had that skill been more necessary than in the last few weeks.

Shrayakal Tremair—or “Shray,” as she preferred to be called—tapped at the buttons that lay beneath the outer panel she had removed from the strange machine. Her long, green tail, tipped at the end by a brush of shimmering white strands like opalescent horsehair, swung back and forth as she replied over her shoulder. “I am sure of very little in this situation, Frank. But if it does, I will be able to go home, and you will not be troubled further by my kin.”

Frank shifted uncomfortably. It wasn’t that he really wanted to see the back side of the young alien woman, but considering how her “kin” had been murdering cattle and almost killed a priest, he had to grudgingly admit that it was the best way.

(Here's a pic of Shray as drawn by Crystal Yates when I won a contest on her comic Earthsong :D She didn't have the tuft of opalescent hairy filaments on her tail at that time, and I always drew the scales as chunkier around where they merge with her skin (almost like a glove), but the coloring on this is boss.)

If I had a nickel for every time a guy named Frank had lied so entertainingly about having won an utterly impossible foreign sporting competition that a Hollywood movie was made about it, I'd have two nickels.

Luke let out long sigh brushing a hand through his curls as he tossed his bag onto the floor in his new room in Jack’s apartment, it was pretty late and they had just got back from Washington after playing their last game of the season and winning.

Luke headed into his bathroom getting out of his suit and tossing a pair of sweatpants on and heading back to his bed grabbing his phone and getting into bed.

He cuddled with his moose jelly cat that was from Hayden as he turned his phone on and started going through all of his messages.

Luke clicked on a text from Lauren.

Luke clicked on the video and immediately started smiling as he realized he got to see Hayden and then noticed his game on the TV. Hayden was watching his game.

Luke watched as he scored his first goal and Hayden was immediately cheering and standing up celebrating so happily and Ryan was celebrating for him too.

Luke felt his eyes get wet seeing the proudest look on his big sister’s face, there’s never a day that he questions if he she proud of him.

The only thing that would have made this all better if Hayden got to celebrate for him on the ice with him.

Luke quickly clicked on the facetime app and immediately hit Hayden’s contact.

“Lukey!” Hayden quickly answered the call beaming at Luke from where she was lying in her bed.

“You were watching my goal?” Luke asked softly.

Hayden’s face softened even more, “Of course i was, i watch every game if i not playing. You know this Lukey.” Hayden gently reminded him.

“I know.” Luke sniffled nodding because he does know Hayden watched his games but someone he forgets she always does when she doesn’t have to, “Thank you.” Luke mumbled grateful.

“Of course Bud.” Hayden’s voice softened speaking to her baby brother, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Luke shook his head blinking back the tears because he is so touched, “Lauren sent me a video of you watching my first goal. You were so proud of me Hayden and you’re always so proud of me.” Luke’s voice cracked as he spoke to his favorite person.

Hayden fondly rolled her eyes hearing Lauren sent Luke a video but her smile was soft listening to Luke, “I am always proud of you always.” Hayden reassured.

“l know.” Luke nodded in agreement smiling softly at his phone, “Thank you for always being so proud of me and i love how much your always proud of me and i love you.”

Hayden smiled touched by his words and she wished she could be with him right now already missing him even if she saw him yesterday, “I’ll always be proud of you and i love you too so so much bud.”

Luke sniffled again smiling happily at his big sister.

Luke looked hearing a knock on the door and Jack walked in, “I heard Hayden.” Jack simply said and walked in getting in to the bed next to Luke and leaning forward to the screen and immediately smiling seeing his sister and best friend, “Hi Haydes!”

“Hi Jacky.” Hayden smiled happily seeing another one of her brothers and her smile softened seeing Luke rest her head on Jack’s shoulder and she saw the moose stuff animal in Luke’s arms that she got him when she moved to Edmonton.

Daniel Radcliffe in Merrily We Roll Along

the tonys happened two days ago and I am in all the feels. so I went to go see merrily we roll along with my mom back on March 14th (less than a week after I finished my children's community theater's production of Puffs aka the Harry Potter parody play as Wayne Hopkins and Myrtle) and I was super excited bc I was seeing the entire cast without any understudies and my mom and I were obviously freaking out about Jonathan and Daniel (I was excited for Lindsey too obviously just not on the same level). after the whole Franklin shepard inc scene I was just thinking "holy shit this man is an amazing actor" and I actually got to meet him at the stage door! I was fighting for my life trying to hold my spot at the front of the barrier and he was the only person to come out that night and I did not even bring up Harry Potter or the fact that I had just been in Puffs but before I knew it this man in all of his 5'5 glory was standing in front of me, looking right at me. he signed my playbill and I told him that after that, Charley is my new dream role and he told me that he doesn't typically read a character and think "wow, I'd be perfect for this role", but that's how he felt about Charley and that he hopes I get to perform franklin Shepard inc someday. he then took my phone for a selfie of the two of us and Lord when I tell you I was actually sobbing so hard because I had just met my childhood hero. my mom then was able to get a picture of the two of us and of course I blinked. I hope she can get it photoshopped. ever since i've been saying that I really hopes he gets the Tony and i personally think that anyone who performs Franklin Shepard inc eight times a week without messing up deserves an award and I think that that was what got him his (100% DESERVED) Tony. was literally screaming so loud when I found out he won. ok that's all just wanted to share my thoughts and opinions.

I liked it, but it felt like Michael Bay filmed 15% and and exploded the rest. Even the medieval parts were all explosions.

Hayden laughed as Luke bumped into her playfully as they walked out of the locker room.

It was just Hayden and Luke at the rink enjoying some one on one time and just going to skate around for a little bit.

They just grabbed their skates, gloves and sticks not planning to be out there for to long.

Hayden and Luke started passing it back and forth for a while before they ended up across the rink from each other smacking the puck across the ice at each other.

Hayden laughed throwing her head back as Luke ducked avoiding the puck and his face was covered by his curls.

Luke hit the puck back hard and it hit the boards but it didn’t just hit the boards it bounced off the boards and right at Hayden. Luke froze as he watched the puck he hit extremely hard hit Hayden right in the forearm and she groaned her hand coming up to cover her arm.

Luke heart drooped seeing the blood starting to drop on the ice, Hayden never gets hurts and she rarely gets hurt where he can actually see it, he doesn’t remember the last time he saw her bleeding like this.

“Luke.” Hayden called out again through clenched teeth, her arm wasn’t horrible painfully but extremely uncomfortable and she was bleeding pretty bad so they needed to get this checked and stopped bleeding quickly.

Hayden’s pained voice made Luke snapped out of his shock and she skated over quickly, “I’m sorry i’m so sorry Hayden.” Luke quickly rushed out his eyes filled with tears seeing her bloody she looked and he hasn’t even seen her actually injury.

“It’s okay bud but i think we need to head to the hospital.” Hayden calmed spoke to Luke, they were at the rink the one day the whole staff wasn’t there so there was no one there to stitch her up.

Luke froze again but quickly nodded and guided her off the ice even if she could to do herself.

Hayden grabbed a towel when they got to the locker room and got her gloves off holding the towel to her wound, she frowned softly seeing it was a deep gash.

Luke quickly started taking off his own skates and shoving his shoes offs on before kneeling down and taking off Hayden’s skates for her and grabbed her slides for her.

Hayden and Luke walked out of to the car and Luke hovered looking extremely worried as he helped Hayden get into the car before he rushed into the drivers seat and started driving them to the hospital.

Luke’s hands were clenched around the wheel trying to breathe because he is so worried for Hayden.

Luke drove them so quickly to the hospital and he rushed them into the hospital and started talking for Hayden and kept a protective hand on Hayden’s back guiding his big sister to her room making her look at him fondly.

Luke paced as Hayden sat on the bed in the room and the nurse had given her gauze to absorb the bleeding and slow down the bleeding before they stitch up her gash. Luke finally saw her gash and felt even worse.

“Lukey come here.” Hayden gently spoke to her baby brother holding out her good and Luke paused and slowly walked over to her and gently took her hand, “Look at me.”

Luke looked at her with tearful eyes, “I’m okay it’s just a cut that needs a few stitches.” Hayden softly reassured him.

“But i’m the reasoned you got hurt and you never get hurt.” Luke rambled out looking so sorry.

“It’s not your fault, you didn’t purposely try to hit me with the puck it was an accident.” Hayden firmly but calmly told Luke, “I do get hurt sometimes.”

Luke frowned, he never actually sees Hayden hurt and he doesn’t like the reminder that she gets hurt too.

“I forgive you.” Hayden firmly spoke to Luke cupping his face softly making him slowly nod.

Luke stayed right by Hayden’s side as the nurse came back in and started doing stitches on Hayden’s forearm and Hayden got eight stitches.

Hayden’s arm got wrapped up with bandages and she was told what she had to do and when she needed to clean her wound and change her bandages.

Hayden saw Luke look guilty when he heard she shouldn’t go in lake for at least a week and she squeezed his hands softly.

Luke and Hayden finally got to leave the hospital and Luke drove them back to the lake house.

“Hey you guys are back!” Jack looked up from the couch hearing Luke and Hayden walk inside they usually are into gone an hour but it’s been almost three hours.

“Yeah we had to make a stop.” Hayden called back as she took her shoes off and walked into the living room with Luke.

“What happened?” Quinn quickly spoke as he looked up seeing her bandages and quickly got up walking over to her.

“Just got hit with a puck needed a couple stitches.” Hayden calmly spoke reassuring all of the boys that were now looking at her worriedly.

“That means one of you is cooking instead tonight.” Hayden teased as she walked over to the couch and took the empty spot next to Matt and Luke quickly followed her sitting now right next to her and grabbing her hand.

Quinn and Jack shared a look at Hayden’s nonchalant answer but that is just Hayden and they knew they would ask more later especially with how guilty Luke looks they had a feeling he accidentally did something.

“Now what are we watching?” Hayden asked and smirked mischievously as her question made Trevor and Alex both immediately start talking and arguing with each other about what they should watch.

“You okay?” Matt asked quietly leaning closer to her.

“All good.” Hayden whispered back giving him a resisting smile as she began to play with Luke’s curls feeling Luke relax against her.
