Hello fragrance friends, and people i know who are smelling amazing. Today i decided to go for a light application of a mild fragrance i love called Pasha Noire by @cartier ! The opening is classy and fresh with lemony citrus, watery Grapefruit and a touch of mint. A suprising little aquatic note comes through, but the voilet is almost hidden. There is a refined, fresh and calm nature here with soft floral iris. None of the notes punch out , but a little ambery incense and a soft spice comes through for sure. I get 6 or so hours with good performance. Overall this is a fantastic, subtle, but well put together fragrance. How does this fragrance sound to you ? Exiting. Complex Niche House , yes oh my ! This is the house of @woudacieux_haute_parfumerie , and let's talk about the three that really stand out. For me the best has to be Anyshium Shykra, Poussiere de Lune and Inule Kir Is Royal ! - Anyshium Shykra was the first love of the bunch for me, with a dark fruity nature with Complex freshness. Then, nutty elements brought comfort and rich florals sang with mysterious incense to keep me entranced along. - Next was Inule kir Id Royal which invited me with a earthy grape and leathery iris. Spices and dried fruit dust kept me feeling cozy and fancy and chamomile tea helped keep the rustic elegance going. - Last is Poussiere De Lune which was crisp and fresh, yet suprisingly anamalic. Rich chypre elements came forward with a dark liquirice for contrast. This perplexed me in a fun way and also had that mysterous element i hunger for. - Overall this has been one of the best niche houses i have tried in a long while. Call me a niche head, but i enjoy rare unique notes and bold compositions. Wearability was kept in mind, but for many even in the fragrance world, these will be unusual. That being said if you like a story and are tired of the same old things , give these a chance. So how do these sound to you ? Do you go for more wearable or more comolex fragrances ?
