WELP today was exciting~

Went out for my morning walk and found KITTENS

We have a feral mom that lurks around our home and I knew she had kittens. Found them curled up in some rocks in our landscaping. They are not in good shape (the black and white probably wont make it), and I assume the mom abandoned them as they are dehydrated and weak.

But I had to do something.

Managed to get the black one to have some kitten formula. He was more active after this. Dude is in rough shape with fleas and malnourished.

Gave him a bath and now he's napping in a cage with me in the basement.

Taking him to the vet tomorrow. Hope it goes well. Snugpaw is wary and hissing at the lil dude and Vinny keeps trying to groom him. Trying to keep them away cause who knows what this baby has.

making LEAPS and BOUNDS with the feral kitten!! tonight I managed to slowly move her food onto my lap to encourage her to put her paws on me while she ate, and once that clicked, she kept kneading on my hands and my legs. I've already broken the seal w/ being able to touch her, but getting HER to touch ME seems huge, I think she's been really needing that, since I don't know how long it's been since she's been around her family. wooo progress!!! p.s. I don't have any pictures yet, bc whenever I'm with her, I'm playing a youtube video of cat purrs / trills to calm her down, and if I go to take a picture it'll pause the video. but I WILL take a picture of her soon!

Why are so many kitty posts about soft shy aloof kitties, where the fucking hell are the posts about needy clingy kitties who meow loudly.

Kitties who pounce on you once you come back home, rubbing themselves against you, scratching and pawing until you go to bed where they climb onto you. Kitties who know damn well what they want, teasing you the whole time as they grope at you

Putting their weight atop you as they bump their head against your face, sniffling you softly before licking and kissing and gently nibbling at your neck as they continue the collar of hickeys they've been working on giving you.

Kitties who whine and mewl and don't shut the fuck up, wanting and pleading for more with the biggest and cutely desperate eyes. Kitties who bap and scratch at you, caring for you with their shakey paws. Kitties who yes, enjoy themselves plenty alone, but adore to be around you.

Need more of kitties who wake you up with bites and kisses a bit too early, who you sometimes wake to find about to sit themselves atop your face. Kitties who do their best to keep your attention, who just want one more minute of play.

More of kitties who just want to be cared for, giving their all with love and energy, who will do their best to do the same for you while not shutting their mouth up the whole time

Headcannon that in the Marvel universe Whenever someone wants to mention Charles Xavier's achievements, they say: he is a man who Wolverine listens to him or he is the man who tamed Wolverine or he is the man who made Wolverine follow orders.

Xavier sometime brags about this infront of Logan and is very proud of himself for it. And Logan approves.

And this confuses the younger mutants or the newer superheroes because even though they know Wolverine, they don't see him as much of a problem. Yes, he's a short Canadian with anger issues and problems with authority, but otherwise deep down he seems very nice and kind and is patient with children. They think he just wants to be left alone and they should know when he is in the mood to talk.

Neither of them ever have the faintest idea what a bloodthirsty, savage, feral beast their short-tempered stepfather was before becoming a X-Men.

And I think this is beautiful.

You know what could be fun? In a slightly traumatic and horrible way? Crossover with JJ Tim. 

See he can’t stop the giggles, the laughs that are borderline hysterical as he holds himself in some mimicry of a hug. His fingers twitch like his mouth that’s smiling smiling smiling- electrocution is a horrible sensation that has many long-term effects. 

But there’s another child here- a pair of them, with almost theater-esque masks and claws that tap tap tap at the cold floors as they creep closer with a near air of curiosity. They’re cloaked in red and black and something about it is familiar but he can’t focus, he can’t stop laughing- 

“Well Jr-” the voice causes him to flinch, the sense of danger screaming in his head as a hand gives a too hard slap to the back. Joker Joker Joker Danger No No No Not Again- “Meet your siblings, aren’t they adorable~”
