#YES THEM BEING THERE IS EXACTLY WHY I TOLD MY BROTHER TO GO THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE ('there' being tower records in japan)#but i find it so funny that the cashier actually remarked on that fact too #anyway. you need to know that i'm feeling so very AAAAHHHH right now. all of these are such a big deal to me #i didn't think i'd actually own KMH ON VINYL at any point #also utterly shocked about the guerilla toss CD. very exciting to have that one too #they're one of my fav bands and i implore everyone who likes unhinged and very experimental and cacophonic rock to check them out #this album (eraser stargazer) isn't the most accessible thing there is out there but i really love it #(i don't even know how to describe it properly. it's just really something to behold anyway)#the plushie is also a gift from my brother!! i'll gladly take any name suggestions for him #oh and also sparks debut album. first album that i own both on CD and vinyl as of today #it's not even that it's my fav sparks album or anything (i do really love it though and it's definitely somewhere in my top ten)#it's just that some albums feel more like they 'fit' with the vinyl format than CD in sound. to me at least #one other example of that besides this one being gratsax #ok i think that's all i have to say about this. one of the most epic hauls of my life that's for sure #OH WAIT one more thing. somewhat unfortunate actually #which is that my brother said he's pretty sure he saw a latte vinyl #but when he passed by that section again like 10 minutes later he already couldn't find it. oh latte.......#it's ok i'll have it one day. i'm really curious what went down there though. did someone really snag it in those 10 minutes???#and yes in case you're worried i did thank my brother profusely for getting me all this #and now i'm going to force him to listen to the TMBG vinyl with me so that he's PREPARED FOR THE CONCERT #that's in 3 months and that he's know about for a year and a half. ok i'm done now #goosepost

They don’t do The Anthology in physical CD format.

Are they fucking nuts?! The best songs are on it!

All I can find in HMV is CD’s with one or two of the tracks on it for bonus tracks. This just won’t do…

That means even less people will hear those songs.

Unacceptable. 😠

Finally got my new turntable needle!

Spending my evening correcting the lyrics to war all the time on a to z lyrics bc someone just copy pasted the lyrics book in and for some reason the lyrics book is not a direct transcription. So I have my cd and my lyrics booklet and my computer and I’m scrubbing through it to make sure I don’t miss anything

#took me 20 minutes to do marches and maneuvers and I’m pretty sure the entire back 2/3 of the album needs to be fixed #the formatting is awful too it’s just in a big brick of text (like in the lyric book)#like. I love this album very much and I love the art in the cd case and booklet but WHY are the lyrics like that #shush up jj #personal

#anyway did you know i got into k.mfdm because its canonically one of p.icos favorite bands and also tom fulp based ng like the entire websit #-e off the album cover for angst. thats why the mascots are little army guys and thats why its orange and black.#i think the original ng orange was directly lifted from angst. the logo is kind of formatted like one of their album covers too with the te #-xt at the bottom. and godlike doglike remix was used in the original build of p.icos school thats where i first found out about them.#angst is kind of mid though. im going to stop talking no one cares um. aradias newgrounds special interest cringe compilation.#IGORE THE FACT THERES A RANDOM FLUFFBALL ABOVE THE PHOTO OF THE ACTUAL CD BLEHHH.

#literally i just got a new cd in (naomi paytons third single cosmo notes! its really good!) and like ive become a bit of a cd collector #theyre smaller than vinyl and i like being able to rip the CD for backup along with making mp3s for my phone #and i also like the art and all the little booklets! i really love cd cover art. it would be my dream someday to illustrate some album art #for some music project or something like thats been a bit of one of my dreams for a few years LOL #and while i was looking up stuff about the philips cdi format for a class project once i learned about the CD+G format #and i felt so much anguish. knowing that its no longer a thing HKJDSHds #I KNOW it was barely used BUT LISTEN....SECRET IMAGES #there are SECRET IMAGES in the cd!!! they have lyrics and simple animations!!! secret images!!!!!!!!!!!!!#really awesome. i think its neat. when you follow me you will occasionally get a post that is something neat i want to talk about #the fun fact posts about weird media! im a visual culture student this is what i do <3 #Youtube

I don't have all of Taylor's albums, because she has a jillion and I have exacting rules about what I buy on vinyl, but I have a good handful of them (Red TV, Lover, Rep, evermore, Midnights, and this folklore: lpss) and this one is the nicest sounding by a lot? I don't know, maybe it's something about how her voice just really sounds extra lovely and clear. I can hear her every breath.

I'm really glad I was able to pick this up for retail at my local record store in April. I would be sad to not have it, as I prefer these live recordings to the folklore studio recordings.

I want to get Speak Now TV and Fearless TV. Content to wait until the TV for debut and I'm just not a 1989 fan. But what I'd REALLY like is a complete version of Midnights on vinyl. the 3AM songs not being available to me on vinyl feels like a crime! As well as the superior More Lana version of Snow On the Beach!

anyway I had to give my belt a little adjustment and clean out the record player because it was sounding a little weird, and I love this album because it's so clear and quiet that I can put it on to test if I think my player is sounding slightly wonky or if it's just my stoner brain. But yeah. I readjusted the belt and did some deep dusting and now it sounds perfect again.

Broadway soundtracks are back on the menu as I realize I can’t come up with more than four that I love (if you count Les Mis in two languages).

#am I FORGETTING THINGS?? that plus wicked and DEH and...??? well Rent but I only like the movie version #in fact I have added back all KINDS of exceptions and still only have 111 #no wait 114 #even so I think the only thing I am actually excluding at this point is TV soundtracks and then only because #either they weren't released in CD format or their sum total of songs would just cover Too Damn Many CDs #the 100 albums project
