First of all, I apology for the delay in posting this. I had stuff to do recently, and it had dragged longe than expected. Anyway. I'm here to post Jorge's moments in El Desafío.

Before starting, I want to advice that the imatges are impactant and if anyone want to avoid them, please do it. I was shaken the same way I shake after a red flag is bring after a bad crash.

For those who don't want to see the challenge, but still want to know what happened, here is the summary.

Jorge started in 3rd position after last weeks gala, being only 2 points away from the leaders.

Just at the start, Jorge is send to prepare for the challenge, where he is dressed with several nomex (? not really sure is the same stuff drivers use under their racing suits) clothing and a gel that is a fire retardant in between. He came out fully dressed, and the video of the training is put on, while Jorge put the safety glasses and the balaclava. A layer of a inflamant gel is put on Jorge while the challenge is explained.

The challenge is 2 in 1. Jorge is set on fire, and he has 30 seconds, due to safety concerns (fire burning through the layers of clothing and Jorge's life being in danger) to set all torches on fire. 30 torches are distributed in a 15 m long space, with 15 torches per side. For Jorge to be able to complete the challenge, he needs to set all of them on fire. There's an aid, torches has been coated with an accelerant. But it's not as easy as it sounds. In the training, Jorge never managed to set all of them in fire and 2 (as they are at the same level and they are et in fire 2 by 2) torches takes about 2-3 seconds to catch fire. Basically Jorge will need between 30-45 seconds to set all of the torches on fire.

He just manages to do it in the last seconds. As he is stepping out of the "hall", the fire is being extinguished. The upper layer id completely destroyed in the back and in the arms, as is where mostly the fire was concentrated.

During the judges comments, Juan applauded Jorge for his effort and  Pilar called the producers out due to the impossibility of the challenge. Jorge was practically set to fail. Santiago said it was easier than it looks as torches where covered in accelerant and Jorge was not at all so precise. He also said that he thought it was more impressive breaking plastic with the teeth while being upside down to free themself and then jump from 6m high (Rosa and Ana’s challenge).

At one point, during another contestats comment (Boris after he played the Bond melody in a vibraphone), Santiago Segura said he was more impressed with his challenge than with being set on fire. (Waru's comment: I got so mad. Yes, learning to play an instrument is difficult, but learning the vibraphone is not so impressive. Boris life was not at risk, nit it was so difficult. The melody had a limited number of keys to play and he had stickers inmost of them).

When it's the turn for the points score, Jorge was once again in the top-3, and once again, he finished in 3rd place with 17 points (Santiago and Jua gave a 6 each and Pilar gave a 5) Flo after holding his breath for 3 minutes and 30 seconds got 30 points out of 30 possible (each judge's 10 points as he managed to be the 7th contestant in the apneas' challenge who hold it the longer. And Laura Escanes got 21 points (each judge's 7 points) for dancing in a wet floor while it was falling water.

Just to end, when the total scores where show, Jorge climbed to P1 as his rivals Mariló and Ana got lower scores than him. Next challenge is called Disco GP, which means Jorge is going to become the main character of his own musical. For sure involves dancing, not sure if signing too (please let singing be involved).

here's some data about the 1986 elections which seems so wild from our modern perspective lol.

first of all, felipe gonzález won for a second term (PSOE) with over half of the seats (mayoría absoluta). also UCD had disappeared and the second most voted party was fraga's CP, the predecessor of the modern PP.

here's how the distribution of the seats was after the elections (the communists are IU btw, they got 7 seats!)

btw IU at that time was a coalition that included both the PCE (Spanish Communist Party) and the PC (Carlist Party). so yeah. it was a time indeed.

and here's the electoral map, with seats per province

just so everyone understands, here are all the parties and what each were about (+ their leaders at that time)

PSOE: Partido Socialista Obrero Español [Spanish Worker's Socialist Party], the traditional left-wing party. Their leader was current and incumbent president, Felipe González.

CP: Coalición Popular [Popular Coalition], a coalition of different centre and right wing parties (Alianza Popular, Partido Demócrata Popular, Partido Liberal, Unión del Pueblo Navarro, Centristas de Galicia). Their leader was minister of Franco Manuel Fraga.

CDS: Centro Democrático y Social [Democratic and Social Centre], a centrist party. Their leader was the ex-president of Spain, Adolfo Suárez.

CiU: Convergència i Unió [Convergence and Unity], a centre-right Catalan nationalist party. Their leader was one of the fathers of the Spanish Constitution, Miquel Roca.

I also feel I have to at least name other parties that didn't get seats but were also voted, like UMC [Table for the Unity of Communists], PRD [Reformist Democratic Party] WHOSE LEADER WAS REAL MADRID PRESIDENT AND THE CLOSEST THING WE HAVE TO A MAFIA BOSS FLORENTINO PÉREZ; PA (Andalusian Party), ERC (Catalan Republican Left), this party has 7 seats right now in congress btw; PCC (Party of the Catalan Communists), and UCD (Union of Democratic Centre), the party that Adolfo Suárez was part of and the ruling party from 1977 to 1972. They got 0 seats here.

the esl wasn't proposed by a cartoonishly villainous ghanaian billionaire. it was launched by a c-suite of white european and united states billionaire businessmen/team owners. - real madrid president florentino pérez spearheaded the proposal and claimed CEO position with andrea agnelli (owner of juventus), joel glazer (owner of man u), john henry (owner of liverpool), and stan kroenke (owner of arsenal) making up the rest of the proposed executive board. -these five are worth $2.3B, $13.5B (agnelli family), $4.8 (glazer family), $4B, and $12.9B, for a total of 37.5 billion dollars.

the esl proposal was formally announced on 18 april 2021 and by 21 april all 6 epl founding clubs had publicly announced their planned withdrawal from the league. this wasn't because of a rich white lady giving a heartwarming speech to a room of other rich people, it was because of a mass movement of working class fans denouncing the move as the capitalist greed and exploitation that it was, with some calling for fan ownership of clubs entirely:

i get using real events as inspiration and adapting them to fit a narrative purpose within the story, but i think it's worth it to know what the story line was based on, especially considering the specific racial and class changes that were made reframing the villains and heroes of this particular story.

Friendly reminder that Florentino Pérez, the man who says he'll free football, is also the president of a team that's included Raúl Asencio in their squad for tonight's match. Asencio, alongside three more academy players, has been accused of filming the sexual relationships they had with two girls (one of them underage) and then sharing those videos. The sex was consented, the rest wasn't. One of the charges they face is distributing child pornography since one of the victims is 16. Four different judges have declared there is enough evidence to investigate them. Asencio has to be in Vitoria for the match tonight and then run to Madrid to speak in front of the judge at 10am on Friday. Hope he makes it on time.

My goodness! So people and the Press have been putting all the blame on Kylian for the tragic loss, and Kylian felt that. He disagrees with people's opinions on him, but it's starting to wear on him. Right now he's feeling quite insecure about his skills as a player. ''What the hell in wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with them?''. And he's head-strong so he doesn't listen.

He's feeling like a fraud, like he's been lying to himself. He's the one who's stuck the most in the match's score. It makes sense, against Dortmund he was praised by everybody as being ''the best'' and then El Clasico happened. He just wants to hide somewhere for a long time (but him being who he is this is a bit difficult to do). He doesn't feel like talking about it with anyone, not deeply talking about it at least.

Kylian Mbappé is Florentino Pérez's favorite son - so everybody says. How's he feeling about Kylian's performance in RMA so far?

May somebody have high hopes for you the way Florentino has high hopes for Kylian Mbappé. Florentino thinks that Kylian seems lost in the team STILL (duuh), but now he's beginning to get impatient, like ''my dear son, I already gave you time to adjust, now you better start doing what I bought you to do, goddamn it''. That's how he deals with his players, right? He tries to make them as confortable as possible. He's both patient and impatient with Kylian.

Is he having second thoughts about his contract?

He may be disappointed at Kylian's performance so far, but no. He still sees a light in the end of the tunnel. Papa Pérez loves his favorite son, indeed.
