#Flip or Flop

It's been a while since I posted a flipper special. I'm gonna say they tried to make it cool, but is it a Flip or a Flop? 1983 home in Austin, TX, 3bds, 2ba, 1,411 sq ft, $479k. They bought it on Nov. 5, 2024 but since Texas is a non-disclosure state, they didn't have to reveal what they bought it for.

The floor is epoxy, so I'm going to say that they painted and sealed it themselves.

Very modern fireplace. I've never seen that kind of frame around the flame, though. Is it art? The TV is on the other wall and also has a frame with color-changing neon.

I'm going to say that's a less-expensive version of the very popular "Big Ass Fan."

I think that this is the dining area. They didn't stage it, which is unusual.

The kitchen is on the right and this is either a family room or dining area with sliders to the patio. That's why it helps to stage.

The kitchen's big. They didn't give it an island and the exhaust hood is a little too high.

The new appliance package doesn't include a fridge. They left a weird open niche and put a tall narrow cabinet next to where the fridge goes. Kind of an awkward layout.

The primary bedroom has sliding barn doors on a closet and the ensuite.

This is nice. The shower features a rain shower, wall shower, and hand held spray. Is that a foyer entrance on the right?

Bedroom #2.

Nice shower room is shared between the 2 other bedrooms.

And, this is bedroom #3.

Nice yard and a covered patio in the back. 8,964 sq ft lot. Well, I don't hate it, but there are a few awkward architectural features.

Interesting drawer. I guess they had to custom make the front by gluing 2 small cuts together, so when they put the knob in, it split.
