people who have actually read fleetway sonic or just know what fleetway super sonic is actually like in canon literally suffer more than jesus because wehave to see like 90 percent of the sonic fandom just be extremely wrong about him all the time to the point where theyre talking about a completely different character that they gave that guys design to for no reason and this sort of thing makes up a massive chunk of fan content involving him and the cycle continues forever because people get their info on the character from said fan content instead of the actual comics

I suddenly remember That you never told us how a meeting between Prime/Archie! Sonic and Fleetway (Amnesiac/Good) Super Sonic would go.

Also I want to read Fleetway Sonic and scourge reactions if They somehow end Up dating (I like Fleetonic and I need something to draw lol)

I imagine any meeting between Prime and Super would likely come after Prime has already had the misfortune of meeting Sonic, and subsequently had at least one (1) argument about Super. If the argument hasn't already happened by the time Prime and Super meet, it's definitely imminent. I imagine Prime would be a lot more forgiving of Super than Sonic is (partly because he just doesn't have the same baggage Sonic does and partly because he's just overall less of a dick) so he'd be sympathetic to his plight. He'd be much quicker to believe Super when he says he doesn't want to be that evil person who hurts and kills people for fun. Sonic would scoff and call him a trusting idiot, but it's not that Prime is oblivious to or ignoring the danger that Super can cause, he just doesn't believe dogpiling the guy about it will actually help his situation

Sonic's reaction to finding out they're dating would just be more "I think you're fucking stupid" or, depending on how not-awful his relationship with Super is, just a quiet scoff. He probably tells Prime that if he's soooo fond of Super, then he can take Super with him back to his dimension, but he's probably also secretly worried about Prime actually following through, because if anything goes wrong, Sonic isn't there to help stop it. Chaos energy in the fleetway dimension is fucky and corrupted; for all his bitching and "don't come crying to me if he tries to kill all your friends", Sonic doesn't actually want another universe to suffer from that corrupted energy. He definitely doesn't want the chaos energy in the prime zone to become corrupted the same way his was, either

I can't imagine Scourge has much emotional attachment to Super to care too much. Like, he sees a part of himself in Super, specifically in how both of their identities used to be tied to Sonic, but he doesn't like that he can relate to Super. He doesn't hate or dislike him, but he definitely doesn't like him, either. He just often ends up being the one Ebony calls for out of everyone else in the freedom fighters because he's the one with the least amount of history with Super, so Super doesn't put him on edge the same way he does everyone else. So if Super started dating Prime, he'd probably just make some snarky comment about weak-hearted goody-two-shoes flocking together

Ultimately, the two of them together will probably mock the relationship. They probably only find out because one of them comes home and immediately starts bitching about how "did you HEAR Super and Prime are dating now???" and then they spend an hour talking shit about them. After all, even if Sonic has warmed up to Super a little, he probably still doesn't trust him or is comfortable being around him, and Scourge is a stubborn fucker who won't change his mind about disliking Prime out of sheer spite, so neither Prime nor Super have much of Sonic and Scourge's respect

So I fear I may be writing a fanfiction for Shadamy.

Okay so for context, I opened google docs one day and giggled because the font I was using reminded me of Amy (she’s me guys) and I thought it would be a BRILLIANT idea to write her getting stood up on a date she was supposed to go on with Sonic, from her point of view. Now I love love LOVE Amy Rose, so this was a fun little writing exercise.

GUYS, IT’S NOT JUST CUTIE PATOOTIE ANYMORE!!! I’ve written over 20k words so far, switching between Amy, Shadow, Tails and Sonic’s POVs. It got SO crazy in fact that one of my friends offered to be a free editor. I have no idea who would be interested in reading it, but I have so much content planned, and art to make for it.

I’m only about 1/6th of the way through the story, since it follows events that happen over the course of a couple of months. It’s mutual hurt/comfort, some nice fluff, a decent amount of Angst, and a bucketload of personal head-canons thrown in for some spice. It’s during a time of peace, and I’m not exactly too familiar with the extensive lore of the comics (IDW, Archie, or even Fleetway) but it’s been consuming my life, and I’m investing in them as we speak.

I’ll probably be posting updates on the state of the fic because it’s not currently nowhere NEAR ready to publish even the first chapter, but I’m so genuinely enthused about the project that I’ve been writing thousands of words per week (I started writing barely two weeks ago.)

I’ve been SO invested I practically eat sleep and breathe this ship. Made like 3 playlists all over 7 hours long by now.

If anyone wants to know the details I’d love to answer questions and have an excuse to yap about them. I’m not the best writer, but I’d rather post a mediocre self indulgent fanfiction then have to keep it to myself.

So, just for curiousity’s sake; what is your opinion on Fleetadow/Fleetway Super Sonic x Shadow?

(also I don’t really mind the fleetonic ending of the comic, Twas great; I’m asking this for curiousity reasons)

i think its fun, and i get why people ship it, but ive personally just seen a lot of mischaracterization for super sonic (which is granted. hes from a very old comic that not a lot of people really care about outside of him) which has spoiled my views on the ship a little bit. of course, when you have a character who hates and wants to kill everyone, you gotta bend the rules a bit for a ship lol. (and hey, not like i can perfectly represent these characters either!) the pt 2 wasnt exactly fleetonic, (its fine if you interpret it as that) i just feel like there is little to no content exploring sonic and super sonics relationship, so i wanted to make my own little thing. sorry for the long-winded answer but i hope this answers your question!

NOVA!!!

She's a spunky, energetic girl who inherited Sonic's speed. Like him, she can be cocky and insensitive, but has a heart of gold and is willing to see the good in anyone. She's almost always in a cheerful mood, but never really thinks before she does... well, anything, really. She's also incredibly naive, and that is oftentimes how she finds herself in difficult situations. Luckily, she enjoys a challenge! In short? Major silly billy!

And her brother...

SATURN!!

Saturn, unfortunate as it is, did not inherit Sonic's speed or any of Amy's abilities. He does, however, make up for it in athleticism and his crossbow proficiency! (And later on, under Shadow's guidance, Chaos abilities!) He feels insecure about his inability to be on the same power level as either of his parents or sister, though, so he will often try to take charge of situations he likely can't handle in an attempt to prove himself. Besides this, though, he is mostly like his mother in terms of personality, being effortlessly kind to anyone (who deserves it, that is). As a contrast to his sister, he is actually able to keep a cool head, and oftentimes tags along with Nova in her adventures to ensure she doesn't do something stupid.

Fun Facts!

-Nova actually has a canon love interest belonging to a dear friend of mine, that being Atlantis the Shark! We've been shipping them together for years, so no, I will not ship her with anyone else. I'll credit him in the comments!

-Saturn's name is a reference to the Sega Saturn, while his crossbow is a reference to Fleetway Amy.

-They have a third sibling (also made by this dear friend) named Gaia the Hedgehog, but he hasn't done much with her in a while (and also, she's not mine), so that is why I don't mention her in this post.

-I've had Nova for years, but Saturn is actually a recent creation of mine! I'm still fleshing him out, so his information and design may change in small ways over time. Heck, I'm still trying to figure out his quills!

-They were both conceptualized and created in Sonic Pulse on Roblox, made by Suggyiem!

Ufff kinda hard to label 5 characters but Let's see...

5) Morain Black.

My only Fox waifu, she is a sword woman that lives in the nameless zone, she is a hotheaded woman too, acting harsh and on Impulse —Like prime Sonic but she isn't a moron—, (honestly I would kill to see what was a average day for her (one without summoning Tails to do the work for them)

I like her design wise and because a sword woman in general is very welcome to me <3

4) Metamorphia

All of her disguizes/ designs in general and her interactions with Sonic (They butt heads it's so Hot, I used to ship them for the funnies by the way)

But my favorite moment is her redemntion, finally leaving that stinky Robotnik and her shitty Dad! Because Yeah Grimmer did little for her, no surprise she didn't bother looking for him!

Honestly I would have wish she managed to join the freedom fighthers (Vía Tails introducing her or She got in by fooling them with Tonic instead of failing and slowly go from fake friend to actual friend)

I always joke that Metamorphia should be the Amy to his Sonic, Tails here has a poor self-estem ALWAYS saying Sonic IS the real Hero... I belive Metamorphia would only see Tails as her Hero no Matter what Tails says and she could help with his issues as he helps her with hers.

It would be cute!

It would make Sonic jealous! Like seeing a fan girl that he doesn't Know (since Tails won't tell him its Metamorphia to keep her Hidden from his acusations and Amy posible miss spell that could put Metamorphia in danger) begin All mushy with Tails, ignoring Sonic in favor of Tails for once

I wouldn't even mind to see her in the Games, she could still work we could even get a Metamorphia VS Mimic showdown but the IDW writers would never do that.

3) Ebony the Cat and Pyjamas the dog

Come on! I wasn't going to forget Fleetway Super Sonic moms! They took him in, gave him a job and protect him to the BEST of their ability.

Ebony more than pyjamas (I still don't get WHY pyjamas wasn't there with them, like no explanation!) but that's okey since we still get more Ebony beliving in Super Sonic.

A shame the good Super Sonic didn't get to stay but the cómic needed a ending.

2) Knuckles the equidna

The only version of Knuckles I give damn about. Okey I like Game Knuckles but between him and Fleetway Knuckles I Will ALWAYS go with the Fleetway Take on It.

He was a good Guy at heart even when Robotnik first manipulated him, this Knuckles was able to come with a plan in case Robotnik proved a traidor (which happened)

He puts his hate/annoyance with Sonic aside to Team Up with him and give us the greatest gay rivaly I ever Saw in a kids comic.

He helped Tails to keep his lie not wanting the Fox to get in trouble and later on asked about that

The character I have a full ass gallery with fanart of him. He gives me inspiration. He gave me Hope against the asshole of my little brother bio dad.

Extra Life is my role model xd

His design slays, his Goofy face makes me laugh, his Battle with Sonic was Hot and entretaining, he is more Evil than Scourge, he is the blueprint for metal Sonic (Extra Life came before metal Sonic) and sonic.exe

Like they share the same hate for the lil critters, are fucked Up and are a Sonic lookalike (I could Also Add that they were made by an Eggman but It depends on which version of Sonic exe we are talking about

okay sorry this is gonna come off as a little mean but i do not like any ships involving fleetway super sonic . or at least not the takes on them that ive seen because they all mischaracterize him. maybe if people would do this stuff with super sonic during the time he was separated from sonic and was niceys i might feel differently about some pairings ive seen but people never do it with niceys super its always evil super but specifically the weird fandomized version of him that you get from getting all your info from fanart/fanfics instead of the comics . and i specify niceys super because evil super in the actual comics would not be dating anyone he does not care about flirting with shadow or amy or scourge or whoever the hell he only cares about biting and killing and maiming . yes even if theyre sonics friends or the character you ship sonic with . sorry

In this case I do ship a lot of things, so I have plenty of other "toxic" ships I like. Indeed (though some are very much rarepairs) there is content for ships like fleetonic, metonic, sonourge, whispurge, etc where I feel like people do (at least on the occasion) actually make "toxic yaoi/yuri" after saying these characters embody that or depict their canon dynamic. The reason some of these get me is because 2/4 hit a popularity burst (and one of them is one of the most popular ships in this fandom) and it sucks trying to find toxic yaoi/yuri or canon dynamic ship pieces. It's like going through a hundred fluff postings or "Sonic/Amy fixes this character and makes them a good person!" only to find maybe one posting that is canon dynamic or toxic yuri/yaoi, while the same people are talking about how they like the canon dynamic or love how toxic yaoi/yuri they are

It's less that I can't find any toxic yaoi/yuri in Sonic fandom at all and more that it's surprisingly hard to find that stuff for certain ships that should logically have at least some

oh nothing too precise but I just loooooove angst so I'm over here imagining the FFs in the Prime dimension and Prime!Eggman is doing something seriously fucked up or there's some other emergency occurring that puts some of the Fleet!FF at risk and Sonic's over here freaking out bc he doesn't want to lose another friend and the Prime!FF are like "hol up this guy's traumatised" and it might be a lil ooc but I love angst too much for my brain to be 100% on character

another lil angsty thing I sometimes think about is the FFs somehow end up in the Metal Virus Arc and Amy ends up infected and there's just this scene where Tekno is banging on a glass wall that separates them ('cause Amy didn't want to put the others at risk) and Tekno has to watch their girlfriend get fully infected before their eyes

Holding this in my hands I love angst so much and I especially love the angst of Sonic being terrified of losing another friend after Johnny..... aaaaaaaa I would LOVE to see the prime!FFs react to that bc like. Surely at this point they must have interacted with Sonic enough to know he's a dick and they've probably seen how he speaks to his friends and it's such a contrast to how Prime Sonic acts it wouldn't surprise me if they're like "he says they're his friends but does he even care about them at all????" bc he doesn't act like it and surely Scourge wouldn't be into him if he cared that much about people? So to see this arrogant cocky bastard who never seems to have a nice word to say about his own friends suddenly freak out at the prospect of losing them would be soooooo interesting
