TWSB Genderswap AU thoughts...

(Felt like exploring their designs while in the middle of writing my "What if TWSB Was Genderswapped? : Gender Expectations, Trope Subversion, and How Jung Eunseo's Gender Identity Affects QPB" essay/analysis (which somehow took an somewhat academic turn) 😭 Please look out for that, whenever I finish it... TvT)

I actually spent quite a bit thinking about this lmao (my thought process would make much more sense if you read my essay but it's still a WIP so 🥹👍) Have some fun silly abridged thoughts instead! :

Cédric M. Riester —> Ségolène Benz Riester

I firmly believe that female!Cédric would look a lot like her mom 🥹 Like Mother, Like Daughter! Long hair is a hassle when you're a swordsman, so she keeps it short... (until she gets jealous over Yeseo and Chris bonding over braiding hair TSK)(actually canon tho LOL)

I also gave female!Cédric the name "Ségolène" (Sieglinde) since it's the French female form of "Siegfried" (to which the author originally confirmed was supposed to be his name until it was changed to better fit the Riesterian setting)! "Céline" was also an option, but there's already a Riester ancestor with that name (Ced's grandmother and Frédérique's mom) and I didn't want them to just switch their names or make her "Céline II", and I'm already SO biased towards "Ségolène" hahaha

(As for the middle name. Well. LMAOOOOO It's self-explanatory, but if you're curious, see the screenshots of my IG story justifications later below! I also just thought it was. really funny OTL)

Christelle Olivier Rambouillet —> Christian Aude Rambouillet

A pretty-looking young man by the name of Christian... I chose "Aude" as the middle name, since that was the sister of "Olivier" in the "Chanson de Roland" where the name comes from! It works well, I find, because Aude is also the betrothed of Roland, which ties in to "Christelle/Christian's" character setting of "love interest", and how Ga-in would eventually gain agency outside of it.

I kept male!Chris' hair long because of the significance it carries for Ham Ga-in who couldn't cut it out of respect/guilt for Ollie 🥲 It's quite a small but significant aspect of Ga-in characterization that would translate well into any version of their character: the notion of "this isn't my body, so I must take care of it well in the original owner's place". (And later, the implied future cutting of hair being the resolution of these dilemmas and internal struggle! I love Ham Ga-in a lot...)

(AND YEAH LOL CHRIS IS STILL SHORTER THAN CED, tho if you want to, you can choose to believe that Chris' 19y.o. body still has room for growth xD)

Jung Yeseo:

As for Jung Yeseo... hahaha her name can remain the same! I wanted to draw her as a pretty girl-next-door unnie, who looks studious, gentle, and cute (but surprisingly fierce when angry LMAO)

Major inspiration was taken from brown-haired shoujo-romance MCs! The original body of the MC from "I Raised a Black Dragon" was especially notable for me. Her design was really cute and always reminded me in some way of Yeseo... TTvT

Anyhow, she's naturally a girl who obliviously captures the hearts of both women and men 🥹👍

In the first place, CeChri in a Genderswap AU would be so funny to me bc woah... Pretty Transmigrated Duke's Son MC x Handsome Crown Princess (who is taller than him)? Revolutionary. It'd probably be a very genre-convention-defying RoFan haha (I WANT IT)

ADDITIONALLY LAUGHING bc FredAu about the engagement would be like: "Sadie, do not worry, you'll like him. Young Lord Christian is a gentle young man known for his reserved personality, who is also very beautiful (reminds a bit of Alex when we were younger...)(insert nostalgic feelings)..."

🔥, after they've finally become acquaintanced: "Not beautiful at all."

🌊 "WTF????"

Ségolène would probably even get pissed off seeing Chris' long hair. As a knight, she always thinks about convenience. Besides, her father could pull it off because he was very beautiful.

Also thinking about Yeseo first transmigrating, trying futilely to remember what Ségolène looks like. According to Eunseo, the main female lead is very beautiful, so Yeseo images a gorgeous woman with long ebony hair who would look amazing in ornate ball gowns worthy of her position as Crown Princess. A cold-hearted beauty.....

Reality —> Gorgeous, tall woman, broad-shouldered and muscular, with short hair and wearing a knight's uniform.

Ségolène: Tall, stunning woman in a uniform with fierce eyes. Hair as dark as the night, a figure that looks undoubtedly very reliable and strong. Great with the sword, and would definitely cut you down without hesitation if need be.

Losna: Significantly shorter, gentle-looking beauty with sly eyes. Long golden hair that curls coyly at the ends, divine-looking yet somewhat enticing like a siren. Soft hands that have never touched a blade, but whose tongue could cut deeply while delivering words in the kindest tone.

🌷, heart pounding, flustered (DENSE): (chuckles) "If I were a man, my heart would definitely be in a frenzy! Even the MC is very pretty, too... They truly are the protagonists!!"

Angst to fluff,mentions of trauma,long fic because it has plot in it.

Korra has been...distant.

Ever since Zaheer and the red lotus poisoned her and forced her to fight in the avatar state she's been different,to you and to her family.

She doesn't eat,when she sleeps she has nightmares, she doesn't talk to you...and it's worrying you so much,your heart aches each time she sends you away with her deafening silence.

You try talking to her about Asami's accomplishment or Mako's new job,even how Bolin made a name for himself.

But each time she'd have that empty look in her eyes,as she sits in that wheelchair she despises so much.

Sometimes you wish you could read her mind,chase away the memories that are tormenting her.

"Please Korra,I'm begging you,try...for me,just...I know you can do it." You sit on your knees,hands on her knees. Eyes looking at her pleading.

"I'm not who I used to be, (Name). Stop trying to save me." She turns her head away, avoiding your pleading eyes.

"That's not true,and you know it!" You cup her cheek, bringing her face closer to yours,yet your eyes hardly connect with each other.

She grabbed your wrist, pulling it away from her face."I don't need you and your pity, so find someone else to nag and leave me alone already!" Korra snaps,anger running trough her body.

Your eyes whiden in shock and you feel like she squeezed your heart with her harsh words.

"Do you even love me?" You bite your lip, waiting for an answer you know you won't get.

You avert your eyes from her face. Disappointed with her lack of will to be with you.

"That's what I taught." You get up and turn around ready to leave. Ready for a new start away from here,from Korra.

"(Name) i-" she wants to get up,run after you ,hug you and tell you she loves you more than herself. But she can't even gather her words properly.

You stop for a second , wishing to hear those words,only fooling yourself further.

With time Korra started getting more ambitious. She wanted to return to the person everyone knew her as. The avatar.

Her wish to prove to you that she can do better was growing by the day. Even so,the last time you spoke to here was the day you left, a day she still regrets even now.

Sometimes she would just feel like giving up,but you reminded her who she was doing this for,giving her the will to fight.

It's been a year since you've left the south pole. Being there with the shell of your lover was too much for you to handle.

Since you returned to Republic city you've been reunited with Bolin, helping Kuvira restore order to the earth kingdom.

It really took your mind off Korra. Now that you joined Kuvira, you got stronger. Unlike someone,you didn't let your trauma and past tragedies hunt you anymore.

"Well done (Name), you're getting stronger by the day." The dark haired woman smiles, hand laying on your shoulder proudly.

You wipe some sweat of your forehead, smiling back at her. "That's the goal I'm reaching for." She nods, looking at your form.

"I remember the first time Bolin introduced you to me and my cause." She wraps some bandages on her wrist, preparing to spar with you, "You were so lost." You watch her moves carefully, getting in a fighting stance.

"Im not the person I used to be." You speak,words giving you a sense of deja Vu.

Kuvira lounges , throwing some big stones at you. You grin, dodging them.

Once you find your opening,you make some ice disks and throw them at her.

Kuvira bends herself an earth wall,then throws it at you.

You make yourself a wave of water,going around Kuvira's wall, your water wave is circling the older woman. Once water is all around her ,you let it fall,and freeze, traping her in ice.

You move towards Kuvira's frozen body. "You cold in there?" A smug smile adorns your face as you slightly bend down to meet with her face. Your hands lazily lay on your knees.

She smirks,your metal collar suddenly pulled towards her. "Don't get to cocky now. It's just the first time you finally got to beat me. Let's try it with metal bending next time hm?"

You roll your eyes, releasing Kuvira from the Ice cage that kept her down. "I'm confident in myself,but not that confident yet." arms crossed as she rubbed some sore spots on her cold hands.

"Can't you have some faith in yourself?Keep going like this and you won't be far from becoming my second in charge." She smiles.

You smile proudly, happy you can finally accomplish something more for yourself.

Another year passed,with you growing stronger and smarter every day,but the taught of your former lover never ceased to fade. Even now ,her return growing closer by the day. You wonder how she's doing, from what Tenzin has told you,she's having a great recovery.so far. Finally able to walk again.

You worked hard to become Kuvira's right hand,and you're now closer to your goal than ever.

So many cities you helped bring back order and balance , so many lives you saved while being part of this cause.

Unfortunately, Kuvira soon has to step down from her spot,the council finding a new king for the earth kingdom while your boss brought peace wherever she went.

"Oh and Flying monkeys!" You blink, looking at Bolin. "Isn't that what Avatar Aang had ?" You raise a brow,not remembering how this conversation even started. "That is so incorrect." Bolin crosses his arms. Looking ready to give you a lecture. "Avatar Aang had a flying Lemur AND a bison as his animal companions. Not a flying monkey, (name)." You roll your eyes. "Whatever you say rock brain." You smirk noticing his anoyed expression. "Hey! How many times have I told you to stop calling me that?" He pokes you in the waist,making you joilt up. "Stop that!" You glare at him,poking him back.

The two of you go on like this for a little while, attracting a few stares to yourself.

Until someone clears their troath.

"Am I interrupting something?" Lin stands towering over you and Bolin, giving you a bored look. "Chief Beifong!" Bolin is quick to bow down, dragging you with him.

"You little-" you stop yourself, locking eyes with the police chief, now giving her an awkward smile.

"If the two of you are done acting like monkeys,could you follow me?" You and Bolin now stand straight, noticing Lin's mood is lower than usual.

"I can't stay for chit chatting,maybe (Name) could solve this? I remembered I was supposed to meet with mako,like 30 minutes ago." The brunette boy gives you a sorry smile as you glare at him. "How convenient." Your comment followed by narrowed eyes,sent chills down his spine. Bolin took a quick look at chief Beifong,then left.

"Good. I wanted to speak to you anyways." You raise a brow curiously at the older woman's words. "You did?I mean ,you do?" She nods,not saying another word until you get to a remote Cafe.

The two of you sit down in a corner, quite remote from the rest of the people in the public space.

"So ,what did you want to speak to me about Chief?" You start, looking at the window.

"It's about Kuvira." Your face turns to Lin as she got your interest.

"What about Kuvira?" You tilt your head.

"I'm worried she won't step down and allow the prince to rule the earth kingdom." Lin stops,as a waitress brought the two of you two cups of tea,"Kuvira seems to take great pride in what she accomplished,but I don't think she's willing to stop there. People of earth empire call her The Great Uniter." The chief looks at her mug, waiting for you to respond.

You fiddle with your fingers, searching for the right words to describe Kuvira's wishes. "She has done so much for the earth kingdom,and she's a strong woman,in combat and in mind,the name fits her ,if km honest."

You stop to drink a little from your (chosen) tea, "And I know it's not my place to talk but...ever since Korra is gone,the people see Kuvira as their savior."

Lin sighs, "Kuvira is forcing people to do labor work for her , threatening them with their lives." You whiden your eyes at the words spoken from her.

"I know how she can be..harsh,.but she wouldn't do such a thing." Your gaze moves to the window.

"She is manipulating you (Name), because she knows how strong you are. Should I also remind you how you used to date the avatar?." You close your eyes tightly, trying to push away the taughts of Korra. "Why do you think she chose to have you so close to her? If Korra ever becomes a problem for her,she'll have you as leverage." Lin's fist tightens, looking at your expression.

"It's not true. If you saw the way she acts...you wouldn't say that.Kuvira wouldn't just use me like that." She sighs at your way of defending Kuvira. How could you defend such a woman?

"Everything Kuvira does is for a reason,keep that in mind (Name)." Lin gets up and leaves some money on the table.

You remain there , trying to piece together your racing taughts.

And just like Lin said,once it was time for Kuvira to back down and allow the prince to rise,she made the announcement that from then on the earth kingdom would be under her rule.

The rule of The Great Uniter.

This got you contemplating ever joining her,it doesn't feel right with you.

Bolin chose to stick around,but you wanted to leave. Being in a situation like this was too much for you.

"So you planned to just abandon me?" The person you didn't want to see the most right now was behind you, leaning on your door frame.

"This isn't right,Kuvira." You stated, covering your arms as you turn to see her.

"This is exactly what's right for the earth kingdom. I can't let that spoiled Prince destroy everything we accomplished." She pushed herself of the door way, moving closer to you.

"It doesn't feel right,I can't fight for something that doesn't feel right with me." Kuvira sighs. She places a hand on your shoulder. "I know what I'm doing,but I can't do it without you by my side. We accomplished so many great things together." She starts slowly guiding you towards a window. "Just look at how much good we did" her hands point at the window. "The land is safe again, raiders are not attacking innocent people or stealing. What more could you ask?" you look at one of the cities she got back and supplied,it looks at peace. What if she was right?

You bite your lip, "What happens with the people after we leave?" Her eyes meet yours,

"We give them a job, something to do to make the earth kingdom a better place,even the raiders."

Even if your gut tells you not to trust her,your mind reminds you of the great things she did so far. Kuvira never left you down.

"Are you telling the truth to me?"

She smiles, holding eye contact with you.

"Why would I lie?"

This is getting out of hand, Kuvira wants to attack Zaofu, Suyin's home simply for not obeying her terms.

"Kuvira this is madness,you can't do this!" You enter the command center ,she dismisses the people that were in the room, leaving you two alone.

"No. It's necessary for me to do this. Once Zaofu finally surrenders to me I get total control of the earth empire."

You scoff at her words.

"Do you even hear yourself?" Pacing around the room,you can't help but glance at her troops just outside.

"I thought you were with me on this, remember everything we fight for." Her armor slightly clangs as she walks towards you.

"I fight to make this world a better place,you fight to take control and rule and empire, excuse me but there's a difference." You move away from her,scoffing at the taught of helping her bring Zaofu down.

Kuvira glares at the back of your head.

"I'm doing this because no one else was willing to. And I have to make some tough choices that many wouldn't,why can't you see?" The tall woman runs a hand trough her hair, trying to calm herself down.

Now it all makes sense,Lin was right and you were stupid for doubting her.

"I'm leaving and you can't stop me. Not this time." She sighs, once you start moving towards the door, two of her metal bands parts push you to the wall,hands stuck above your head.

"Let me go."you glare at her trying to get away from her metal.

"I expected better from you." She shakes her head disappointed. You look around the room, trying to find a water source, yet nothing in sight.or reach

"Lock her up tight. Make sure she gets no visitors." Kuvira calls for two of her guards.as they take you away,you see the shrinking image of Kuvira's disappointed face.

You watch as Korra fights with Kuvira for your life,and Suyin's.

She got so much better,but there's still something wrong with her you just know it.

Kuvira seems to have the upper hand,until Korra knocks her down. She was so close,but she hesitates suddenly, giving Kuvira the opportunity to trap Korra.

"No!" You scream,Kuvira turns her head to look at you,a smile adorning her face. Looking around desperately,you see a little source of water, hopefully close enough to you.

You move your hands that are tied behind your back to use the water,creating a razor form to slice trough Kuvira's metal.

You take off running, attacking Kuvira with spikes of ice.

The metal bender pushes herself away from Korra , creating a shield for herself.

Kuvira Is pissed,how could you escape? Are her soldiers good for nothing at all? More importantly,what are you going to do?

You create a big ice shield that goes all around to fit you and Korra trough,finally getting to touch her after so long.

"Korra please get up!" You cradle her head in your arms as her upper body lays on your thighs (Kuvira is jelly~~) she opens her eyes,bright blue eyes you would lose yourself in.

"I came back for you." She smiles touching your face lightly,fearing you might be another one of her illusions. Your eyes whiden, smiling at her words

"I shouldn't have left you in the first place." A tear falls on her face (imagine Kuvira trying to break the ice while those two have their moment ☠️)

"I didn't mean anything I said that day,I'm so sorry,I didn't mean to send you away." Korra gets up,now on her knees ,face to face with you. Her hands cup your face, staring at you lovingly." I Love you." Hearing those words,you jump on Korra,giving her a big hug.

You sniff, smiling at her. "We should really focus on getting out of this situation now." Your voice cracks as you joke.

Korra stands up,ready to fight once more, her will stronger than ever.

A/N: I haven’t wrote in ages, I js randomly got some motivation so👍

Walking around the crowded party, looking for an exit, I bump into someone and my drink spills over their top. “Shit, I’m sorry.” I say quickly, “It’s fine, kid, calm down.” I hear a male voice say. “Do you know where the exit is?” we say at the same time, earning a small laugh from both of us. “I heard someone say it’s over there,” I gesture through the crowd. “Cool, cmon then.” He says, starting to walk through the crowd. I follow after him quickly, like a lost puppy.

A few minutes later, the stranger finds the exit, and we quickly walk outside together. We find ourselves on a balcony, he walks over to the edge and leans against the balustrade. “So.. what’s your name?” I ask, my voice laced with curiosity. “Oh, I’m Matt. You?” “Y/N.” “Pretty name.” I blushed softly at his compliment, “Thanks.” I step over and lean on the balustrade next to him. “You here with a boyfriend?” He asks, voice filled with faux curiosity. “Oh, no, no. I’m just here with some friends.” I explain softly, my eyes catching the lopsided smile that forms on his thin pink lips. “It’s pretty cold.” I comment, my hands gesturing to the invisible cool night breeze, trying to keep the conversation flowing. “You’re cold?” He says, not giving me chance to reply before he slings a casual arm around my shoulders and pulls me into his side, his warmth immediately enveloping my body.

I look up at him after a few minutes of comfortable silence, finding his icy blue eyes already on me. My lips slightly part as he leans closer, “Can I kiss you?” He whispers, lips inches apart. I nod in response, earning a soft tut. “Words.” He says, voice somehow firm and gentle at the same time. “Yeah, you can kiss me..” I manage to whisper in a shaky voice. Matt leans forward and captured my lips in a gentle slow kiss, slowly pressing me against the balcony railing. My hands tangle themselves around his neck, standing on my tip toes to try deepen the kiss. He lets out a soft chuckle against my lips, murmuring gently “I just wanna take my time.” before continuing the slow, sensual kiss. His hands slowly trail down to cup my hips, squeezing gently. “We should take this back to my place.” I say, looking up at him through my lashes. He hums in agreement, grabbing my hand and squeezing before leading me down the steps and towards his car.

I’m thinking of trying to write again, occasionally, but I may stick to dad!matt/chris etc. because it’s a lot easier for me to write, then occasional short romances if requested but never smut cause I cant write that. Would y’all like that orr? Comment ur opinions <3

Boonboomger appreciation post -The beginnings and Taiya

It is well due.

I will be posting my thoughts about the characters to the best of my capabilities thru different posts. I hope i can do them justice with my wordings.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger - when I first heard the name and looked at the character designs, I was like meh, probably won't watch, etc. etc. I was watching Kamen rider Gotchard at that time and thought that maybe I will watch few episodes and this change of heart was because I read through the plot line and character personalities. Genba caught my eye first 😊. So I decided to watch it once it airs.

Then 2 weeks forward, I had completely forgotten about it and Gotchard also needed some catching up. Thus, I watched Boonboomger ep 1 and 2 together + gotchard. I was very apprehensive going in and the first ep BOOM it changed my mind faster than the speed of light.

I appreciate Taiya as the red...I generally am not a fan of the reds due to their typical personality of being rash and all (uk the general stereotyped personalities? Ofcourse some reds I do like). Taiya hits different. Over the course of 48 episodes, his character has grown on me and I love our leader. He is pretty cool and chill and isn't over controlling or extremely energetic. He is balanced out and ya he was emotionally constipated in the beginning but he has let that go and by the end he is much more expressive. He knows what his teammates are doing and who they are and he is ready to support them and be with them. He lit the fire of ignition in their hearts and to take their own wheel. He is ready to respond to the screams of people and wanted to grow up fast so that no kid ever suffers again 🥹. He is also a millionaire and the moments when he is like 'I will buy this!' were really funny 🤣 one moment specifically was when Mira's friend who runs the curry ship wanted the recipe, bro just got so many spices and then gave some really exorbitant ideas to deal with the issue 😂 He might rub off as someone who would just spend money to solve the problems...Yes he does use the money BUT he also solves the root problem through actual work. As a delivery guy, he has delivered happiness and hope to all of us, the boonboomgers and to the world.

I salute you, Hando Taiya for always revving it up and being the man you are! You are brave, courageous, and a hard worker. You always rush to aid when you hear the screams and never back down. Will miss you 🥲❤️

To anyone from JoJo fandom finding this: Hi :) I'm Moony! (they/them) My main fandom is something else (Twisted Wonderland) but I'm also a really big JoJo fan and have made Stands for 7/8 of my OCs! Hope you like them!

Just think of White Album's suit but made of feathers instead, with thin, translucent feathers in front of her face as a kind of visor. This way, she won't be seen by non-Stand users, since the feathers cover every inch of her body. It has a physical form in the suit, but it, much like Thoth, White Album's ice-suit and Hermit Purple's vines is not a humanoid Stand and instead in the form of a tool.

Method of Activation: at user's will

Limit: it, just like its user, is weak to sunlight. The Stand can only be in use for around 30 minutes while under direct sunlight, after which it will literally start to melt and burn. So the best use of this Stand is at night, with a suit made of black feathers.

Range: 5m

Spike

First of all; I'm gonna be 100% transparent and say that both his Stand, as well as Spike himself actually, originated from this fic!

The basic gist of it is that, it's a fic where a male reader (bordering on OC) was one of the Stardust Crusaders, later went on to have a thing with Bucciarati, and later had to leave to help the fight in Part 6. I think I've changed Spike enough that he and the character in this fic are no longer the same, but the description of how the Stand looks (maybe also how it works??? It's been a while; I don't 100% remember) is lifted directly from this So I wanted to give credit! (btw please read it, it's so good)

Stand Name: Skillet

Ability: Spikes

Info: Can make razor sharp spikes appear anywhere the Stand touches. Can also throw spikes like bullets. Whenever user gets too angry, shows up unprompted and snarls at the target of Spike's ire.

Method of Activation: At user's will

Limit: If not careful, could harm allies, and user himself, with spikes, too. A real double-edged sword.

Range: 2-10m (Stand can only go two meters away but the spikes can show up as far as 10 meters away if Skillet makes contact with the same surface— such as the ground)

Appearance description:

The Stand itself has deep red skin, wears a spiked blindfold over its eyes, and even though its mouth has been sewn shut with something that looks like thin metal wire, it wears a muzzle. Two giant spikes go through its hands, as well as through its entire torso just below the collar bones, and it has sharp, black claws instead of fingers. There are spikes coming out of its head, too.

Tomoe

Stand Name: Good Charlotte

Ability: record-making, poison

Ability Name: Chronicles of Life, Chronicles of Death

Info: For the ability 'Chronicles of Life', if Stand has a piece of something— DNA from a person, a piece of an object, etc— it can analyze it and find out about its history, after which it will produce a historical document, its shape depending on the time and culture the object came from. Once created, a document can not be destroyed through killing the user, but can be burned or destroyed in the same way as any other book, scroll or tablet. User can also wish for the Stand to hone in on a specific angle when making a Chronicle. For the ability 'Chronicles of Death', the Stand has sharp quills it uses to write with, and if user chooses, Good Charlotte can shoot the quills like projectiles at a target. The ink the Stand uses is poisonous to living things when wet, leading to a slow but painless death that looks and feels like falling asleep— it usually takes 10 minutes to work to its full effect.

Method of Activation: At user's will

Limit: It records details you might see written down in a historical document or an old myth or legend, meaning more mundane details are often ignored unless user tells it to specifically hone in on a specific angle. The smaller the material Stand has to work with, the more incomplete the Chronicle will be. And as far as the poisonous ink goes, the ink dries very quickly, meaning a subject would need to be no further away than maybe two meters for the ink to actually poison them, so ranged projectiles are not poisonous. And if the poison is extracted within 10 minutes, the subject will only be asleep for a few hours before waking up again.

Range: 1m

Skin is a vibrant deep red color and its body looks a bit like a metallic ball-joint-doll, lower arms being a white color with black fingers, and lower legs white with black feet. Two golden, pupil-less eyes, no mouth or nose. Wears a monocle with many lenses over its left eye, each lense added giving an enhanced zoom-in effect. It wears a darker red toga with a gold and black same-komon pattern. On the back of its head, it wears a big, golden bow.

Stand Name: Copycat

Ability: Persuasion

Ability Name: Copy That, Copycat

Info: User can persuade a subject to stop being mad at and/or like them more, and the mirror on Copycat's face shows the faces of the people currently being affected. In this state, user can much more easily persuade someone of almost anything so long as the user has a somewhat believable story, and during it Copycat whispers in their ear. And when its mirror is in use, Copycat will imitate the body language and personality of whoever reflected in its mirror it's standing the closest to, letting the user take notes on what kind of behavior would work best to truly persuade the person in front of them with. It's a Stand that's very good for reconnaissance, buying time, can function similarly to a bribe, or could potential lower a subject's guard somewhat. Though, it's not very useful on its own in combat, since when someone has decided to kill you, getting within two meters of them is not a good idea. If she was ever separated from Copycat, like what happened with Fugo and Purple Haze in the Illuso fight, it would try to search for her, then sit down on the ground, hug itself and tremble if it couldn't find her. If it found someone Irina knows who isn't actively hostile, it'd try to jump toward them and cling to their leg.

Method of Activation: Subject looking into Copycat's mirror while within a meter of it.

Limit: Only works on up to 10 people at a time, and the potency decreases the more subjects the ability is split between. If subject(s) has been outside of Stand's range for an hour, the effect wears off.

Range: 2m total. The Stand itself cannot travel further than one meter away from her body, and can affect someone standing at most a meter away, so a total of two meters.

Copycat has a lot of potential to grow. Right now, its user is extremely timid, and feels way too guilty about using its abilities at all to feel confident in its use.

But if she were to become a bit more confident, a bit more willing to use that power, Copycat could become a truly scary stand— one that can puppet people's minds to its user's ends.

Just like Giorno said in the fight against Cioccolata, a Stand is someone's unconscious will given form, so if someone feels guilt or hesitancy about using their ability, it acts as a form of brake.

Junia

Stand Name: Mother Knows Best

Ability: Listen to your mother

Info: Stand causes subject to misremember instructions they've been give, instead remembering a distorted version of often very strange things to do that, if precisely followed, will lead to the best possible outcome. Stand can be used on both user or unrelated subject. Can also be used for some light combat. If Mother hits a subject on request of the user, that person will get the same horrible, dizzying headache and nosebleed as when its instructions are not followed. If Stand is upset and has given subject headache, anyone who touches the Stand will get the same headache.

Method of Activation: Subject needs to be given advice or instructions by someone, and Mother needs to touch them.

Limit: If the instructions of Mother Knows Best are not very precisely followed, the outcome will be disastrous, and Mother turns red in anger, also giving the subject who disobeyed the orders a severe, dizzy headache and a nosebleed. Ability can also only be used once every 12 hours, whether that be on the user or another person.

Range: 3m

At first when she discovers her Stand, she's very unsure about the instructions it gives her, and might end up not following them exactly because she doesn't trust herself, which just ends in her getting a nose bleed and a horrible headache. And she's a bit on edge whenever she sees it because she feels like it's judging her all the time— watching her for mistakes just like her mother used to.

She needs to learn that this is her ability, and to trust her own powers in order to make the best use of Mother Knows Best.

At some point she named her Stand 'Mother Knows Best', though usually she just shortens it down to 'Mother'.

She's really good at flower fortunes— and the crazy part is that her flower fortunes are right every single time without fail.

When she or someone else asks a question, her Stand activates and makes her misremember the question as something else but also related. Then she asks the person who asked the question to turn around while she consults the flower. She started doing this because a pair of invisible hands— well, invisible to all but her— picking off the petals one by one and whispering 'yes' or 'no' to her as it picks them looks creepy to most people.

Then she turns around and says the fortune.

Just as an example, if they asked if they can see their crush tomorrow, Mother Knows Best might rearrange the question to make her hear 'will (crush) eat rotten fish today'. Then when Junia turns around and says that yes, (crush) will be eating rotten fish today. The person asking might think it's weird and not trust it. Then the next day, their crush is nowhere to be seen. And the day after that, when they see each other again, the crush tells them they had to stay home the day prior with food poisoning— the fish they had for dinner was apparently rotten.

Since she herself isn't actually aware of her Stand, she never does this consciously— in her perspective, it just happens every time she does a flower fortune.

But, her mother has told her that her flower fortunes are a waste of time, so she doesn't do it a lot anymore, even though she thinks it's fun.

Veronica

Stand Name: Crane Wife

Ability: Paper

Ability Name: Unraveling, Curses

Info: A medium-range combat Stand made entirely out of origami, looks like a simplified 3D paper version of the user, wearing hakama pants, a crop top and it’s hair up in a ponytail. Though the face has no eyes, nose or mouth, only a pair of eyebrows to let you know how it's feeling. It's also possible for two spots on the Stand's cheeks to be dyed into two perfect circles of reddish pink if it— and by extension the user— is feeling flustered. This is its most common form, a small origami crane being the second most common. The ability 'Unraveling' allows it to fold itself up to a maximum size of 100square feet, into any shape without getting any thicker, making it able to fit under any gap. The paper is extremely durable and not easily cut through, but also incredibly sharp— sharp enough to let the Stand use a sword made of the paper. It's an incredibly powerful Stand, and if no water, fire or strong wind is present, it's almost unbearable. Almost. It's a Glass Canon of a Stand: incredibly powerful at the cost of being incredibly easy to harm once something gets close enough. And also the ability 'Curses' lets the user cut off a small part of the stand and ascribe an effect to it, then fuse it to a subject's skin, after which it lasts for 30 minutes, then falls off. The effect is to make the subject experience some type of pain— anything from feeling as though the part of the body it's attached to it is on fire, frozen, being put through a meat-grinder, etc. though it does not actually harm the subject in any way. Curses also takes a toll on its user, as it has to sacrifice large amount of energy to tear off a piece of the Stand. Its worst weakness is fire— fire will instantly set it aflame, and user could die if Stand is not put out. It's an off-white color and cannot be dyed, and thus quite easy to spot. It is possible to write on, but the writing disappears if Stand is called back. It's a surprisingly talkative Stand; whenever Veronica tries to hide or lie about her emotions, it comes out of its own volition and voices her emotions for her, unless she tries very, very hard to keep it from doing so. It can be anything, from cussing someone out, to giving them praise. Or, going over to someone Veronica secretly really likes, laying down on its stomach, kicking its feet in the air with elbows on the ground, hands holding its face up, two reddish pink circles on its face, just staring at them.

Method of Activation: At user's will

Limit: Weak to fire, water and winds above 40mph. The body itself is also not very stable. A glass canon, basically— if she is hit in battle, that's usually it.

Range: 30m

Victor

Stand Name: Oh Hello

Ability: Necromancy

Ability names: Wormwood, Danse Macabre

Info: The ability 'Wormwood' lets the Stand take the corpses of any non-human animal and twist them into Frankenstein creatures that do the user's bidding. The user can choose to see through the eyes of one creature at a time. The creatures can also be just the unaltered corpses of animals, but the less altered they are the likelier it is they will be disobedient, though it is easier and takes less time than creating one from scratch. The creatures can do things like spy for their User, attack the User's enemies, collect things for the user, bury things, or simply act as companions; pets. The creatures 'live' until one of their organs are affected. User can create however many creatures they want, however, the more they create at once the less smart, cooperating and refined— and thus easier to destroy— the creatures will be. Any corpse will do, but use fresh ones for the best result— the creatures will continue to rot while they're reanimated, and at a faster rate than if they were left untouched. The ability 'Danse Macabre' allows user to give a group of Creatures the same order and have them all act at once— normally, the more Creatures the user gives orders to, the more energy it takes. But Danse Macabre lets user give one singular order to the entire army. Though, it automatically gives the same order to every single Creature, meaning no other orders can be performed at that time. Wormwood can also choose to reanimate just one singular bone— though it won't be able to do anything. For a Creature to be useful, they must be able to move, which means the body must have the muscles and bone structure necessary TO move.

Method of Activation: User touching the corpse of an animal.

Limit: The creatures only 'live' until the next sunrise after they were first created— after that they fall apart into bloody bits of gore and then turn to dust.

Range: 3m

Oh Hello is a hulking, dark blue blue, robotic torso with a cute white and brown cartoon dog head with a halo above it. It sounds like a dog. Its small, adorable cartoon mouth shaped like a sideways 3 isn't its true mouth. If you get close enough to it, its true mouth opens, and it's giant, filled with razor sharp teeth.

Time for part 3/5 of my notes about Sheridan! These notes cover the entirety of season four.

So the season two notes in full were 8,791 words, but I didn't share a lot because most of it was me going "I like this about him because..." and "very cool setting up things that happen later down the line in his arc" etc.

The season three notes in full were 8,355 words, and as I'd got a lot of the analysis out of the way in season two, I kind of decided to play around with it a bit and do true, but hopefully funnier, sentences. So you got to see a lot of that!

Now... my season four notes in full were 16,245 words. But I don't have many notes to share (in comparison to season three) because this season caused me to write a LOT of in-depth rambles about his storylines. One day I will refine these rambles into something easily readable. But anyway, my point is that I was a little less goofy with this season, so even a lot of the more amusing things I wrote are a little less wild than the previous notes I've made.

Also, believe me when I say that I care about Garibaldi a lot and understand that he was brainwashed. But I sort of also always have Ivanova's reaction to Garibaldi's betrayal, whoops.

Attempting to explain the Gregnant au

Ok wow, where do I even begin. (Bonus warning, PM fans have to read a lot-)

[The actual name of this Au]

So first of all, I'm officially calling this au the Nymph au (Nymph is a term for a baby cockroach), you could also call this the Gregnant au but that word being my Distortion trigger is how it came to be in the first place.

[How this au even happened]

Basically on my YouTube channel (which you should totally sub to plug plug plug plug- https://youtube.com/@oddie97?si=Y5I17RjJRQDRbiJ0) I uploaded videos about Gregor and everytime I'd get the dreaded Gregnant meme in the comments, as a result I made a joke community post that if I get one more Gregnant comment, I'd actually draw it. One more comment later and I made the video.

Leni Samsa (Her full name ig), is an oc made to be Gregor's daughter, she's around 5-6 years old,her name is not a reference to Mice and Men, don't ask me why I gave her Rodion's hair color (it was genuinely a coincidence and I might change her design a bit)and yes..Gregor did conceive her.

[How the fuc-]

Alright wow so..to explain in a way that doesn't have me speedrun getting banned; Leni was born asexually and is essentially a clone. In this au, at some point Old G Corp made it to where their soldiers could have eggs to create more soldiers that are stronger or plentiful, there were unfortunately many complications and said children would go on to suffer the effects of the war, they were aged rapidly and knew nothing but death and horror.

When Gregor had Leni, he didn't want the same fate to come for her and at the time he couldn't afford to look after her,so he hid her away with a couple who'd do so, despite them being disgusted by her, they still cared for the young nymph. They were then killed by a G corp veteran in an armed(💀) robbery, leaving her alone again.

[Baby on the Bus]

During Canto 1, while in the Backstreets, Gregor found Leni starving, cold and horrifed to find her surrogate parents dead. You can't just find a daycare while on the job, so he just..decided to bring her onto the bus and hope noooobody questions how a toddler who looks identical to you and is also a bug just happened to show up. If you've read my comics you know how well that went for him. (Also yes him not having his cigarettes in several drawings was intentional, don't smoke around babies 🚭)

[What will happen with Leni]

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure yet, this au was made as a joke originally to begin with. Honestly my biggest shock with all of this was that people actually like this au? Like- I effectively made a Gregor mpreg au and y'all were like "omg so cute! This shit is peak!", I'm kinda thankful for that and that people actually like my writing and artwork, even if it's a bit..unusual.

Wait how is she taking college classes while 17? Well in the US they let high schoolers (sometimes middle schoolers) take college classes for free while still taking highschool classes. It’s a real juggling struggle between hs and college but dj-Yuu managed. She started taking college classes when she was 15 so for two almost three years, she got all the credits she needed and was going to graduate with her associates degree! One semester left of college then wohooo!!! Graduating with a degree before graduating from highschool!!

And yay!! One last year of highschool. Senior time and privileges let’s gooo!!! Finally Jean fridays and senior parking!!

But aw shucks. Twst world here she goes.

When she realized she has to redo all these classes again and has to be a freshman all over again she was like “aw shucks. Bruhhhh”

Then she just accepted fate cause at least she gets a redo over and this time she can put more effort in maintaining her gpa as a 4.0

She does have a bad habit of bawling her eyes out when confronted but that usually happens if she gets confronted after weeks of bottling up her feelings and problems.

Sometimes she even lashes out with lots of attitude at the wrong person/level she didn’t need to be at.

She feels guilty and apologizes while giving a homemade a gift for forgiveness.

Dj-Yuu also has bad attachment issues. The first night at ramshackle she cried because she realized she can’t live independently and that she misses her parents.

She’s just a mama and babas girl 🥲👍

Missing her parents and siblings and some family members.

She almost cried in heartslyabul (the part when Trey was showing off his unique magic) she asked if it would work with wanting foods tasting like someone’s cooking. She was going to cry while asking the question but held it in. He it caught off guard by that question but when he hit her with “pardon?” She says nevermind and chocked back her tears cause it was foolish of her to ask.

She had some moments here and there where she almost cried but held it in.

She kept it so the only one who saw and heard her cry was Grim and the ghosts of Ramshackle from her first night after the ceremony.

But then this changed when she cried infront of Kalim and Jamil at scarabia chapter. Her tasting Jamils cooking tasted similar almost replica of her mothers cookie. The fact that it was a middle eastern food made it worse for her trying to hold her emotions back. The reason is because

Jamils cooking = land of hot sands food = middle eastern food = homeland/country food = mamas cooking = miss mama and home country.

So she started crying (didn’t make much noises but she kept stuffing her mouth ) trying to feel better and finish the food quickly so she can excuse herself to the restroom.

When Jamil and Kalim told her she can eat more, they knew she felt really homesick especially when it was winterbreak and she saw everyone going home to their families.

After that day and jamils overblot, they told her that she can visit them and eat their food whenever she wants.

That’s why I’m pomefiore chapter, when Jamil made knefa, she was so excited to eat it but when Vil took it away she got so sad but Jamil reassured her. Telling her that he can give her some the next day during lunch.

DEPRESSING STUFF ASIDE AKDNDKDNDJD

She carries around a skeleton hand with her. As a Muslima, she can’t touch boys or men with Grim and the ghosts and school nurse being an exception. But being in nrc, an all boys school has her in a “bruh, even shaytan is confused” mood (guys I’m joking to hit me for this comment 🙏)So she uses the skeleton hand to sometimes hit Ace or Deuce playfully or if they wanted to lead her somewhere, they can use that as a pretend of her hand.

(help she found the hand in one of the ramshackle rooms is it real? Maybe)

She also sometimes ties a cloth around her wrist and one of the twst boys wrist incase she doesn’t have her skeletons hand with her. (If they wanted to lead her somewhere or something. Idk. She finds a way to not touch them on accident. Can’t anger Allah :(

That’s why during the Vdc camping she was like “wtf Crowley????” 💀 but powered through with it. The ghost of ramshackle and grim were guards when she needed to shower or change etc 😤

Whenever she wants to hand something to someone, she always holds the item by the edge to prevent touching their hands on accident. Or if the time is small, she would drop it into their hands. (I can draw this if anyone is confused about it^^ I tend to do this a lot too at my school when I can’t hand it to a girl to hand to the boy who the thing is supposed to go to ) :p

its longer than expected (hope its not too long) feel free to share your feelings and your impression about this song I'll be happy reading it :D

- First time hearing about it was underblue song list release, when I translated it it was "Goodbye end credit" lol.

We (with a friend on instagram) were way more curious about Byme because I miss-read it at "Buy me" and thought it was an Uron na shokutaku song 👀 (the song is very different from what I thought)

- I got hyped for the first time when "waiting for Underblue Album art collab" picture of this song was released.

Because first the art is AMAZING. The previous under blue arts were kinda basic or didn't seemed related to Eve (won't talk about this today lol), and this one actually was super intresesting and with Eve references on it (books with previous album name, kurukuru and hitotsume dolls/plushies) then, I see who did this amazing art, and omg omg omg

The art is made by Nagabe, "the girl from the other side" author, one of my favorite manga 😭🤌

I remember I was in biology class, I listened to it and Sayonara end roll was the new release I was most hyped for, I KNEW it would be a banger.

- Listening to this song for the first time was CRAZY, ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.

It was 1 a.m (the album released at midnight on spotify and its 1h long), in the dark, no light, almost dying my body screaming to me I should sleep, texting my friend (cuz we were reacting together) the way the music flows, the voice omg omg omg and the part where it changes I was like "WHAT THE HELL" and it was so good and omg omg omg I was so happy because I always wanted Eve to do a song with unpredictable moments (guess I've been blessed by Hitostume).

After listening to the whole album, I talked a lot with my friend about the songs, then listened to Sayonara end roll, then at 2a.m I fell asleep.

I went to school with 4h of sleep, physics/chemistry lesson was something lmao (I was dying on my chair but I was happy cause the album was AAAA)

Tamago listening to underblue for the first time at 1 a.m, 27th of november (day of album release)~

- after the release of the album, it was my favorites among the seven new songs.

It took me time to realise that this song was an Eve song like, it was so different from usual, I was so happy to hear something really new and original, like a new Eve. This song is so cool I was vibing in the bus 🕺✨️.

- the small animation on spotify (with Fuchi in the train, and Ryuko and Tobi in the train station, the mv was not out yet). When I saw it I exploded💥. Also I had some cool theories :

when I interpret Eve's song I don't first think that lyrics are linked to characters but I think about the lyrics and music like it is Eve's feeling that he is sharing (I struggle with parasocial relationship btw🥲) and so when I saw Fuchi I linked the song to him, based on my previous theory that Eve's characters may not be only characters but but someway Eve's feelings, that Fuchi may represent Eve's "dark sides" lol (reminder that this is a theory who the hell knows what goes on in Eve's brain 👍)

- first time reading lyrics (some day after the album release)

I was in english class in a classroom with computers, the teacher was giving test grades (I got 17/20) I don't even remember what we where supposed to do but it was boring so I decided to search for lyrics of new songs (Yumeni aetara since I made a thesis about it, then sayonara end roll) when I read the lyrics (on lyrical nonsense) I was, "woaw" like, really, the lyrics are amazing and powerful like omg, this song was already powerful but knowing the lyrics made it way better and even way more powerfull and its so well-writted and omg I could talk about this for hours but i think I'll make a full analysis later lol

So after reading the lyrics I related it to Eve and not Fuchi and so I made a drawing (Eve) to express the feeling the lyrics were giving me (and Eve saw my drawing muahaha I'm so evil *explode*).

But yeah the lyrics are so good like I have no words to describe it 🕺 I'm silly.

Also about lyrics that can sound random but the line " Was I the one broken all this time" (from lyrical nonsense translation) made me think of a song called "Broken machine" by Nothing but thieves (yeah my brain links stuff together I'm so silly) and it was very cool I remember I made the two songs following eachothers in my playlist to vibe 🕺. Also by reading an Eve interview about the album, the way Eve talked about changing and time made me think of the line " My head goes forward and my heart goes back" from the same song (by brain creates links EVErywhere).

- then there is the little animation with the cats (don't remember the name of the artist). It was kinda cool I don't have much to say about it.

- some days before christmas we were making theories with my friend about what mv would be released on Xmas day, but we thought It would be Byme mv (the one in albums if you bought it). Its only one day before the release, when Eve shared a pic of tiny Fuchi that I knew, I knew it would be Sayonara end roll (because, animation on spotify with Fuchi on train). I texted my friend " LOOK" told my theory and in fact I was right 😎✨️.

- about the mv release,

It was amazing, the mv was really good and I think it is very different from Eve usual mvs, it was way more realistic and not in some parallele worlds with metaphors etc.. no it was the real life wich lead me to the main issue I had by watching this mv : TRIGGERS

like the mv is really good but it made me feel so wierd and bad like I cried, then I was shaking and feeling all wierd like EVE WHY DID YOU TRAUMATIZE US ON XMAS DAY AAAA.

I was with my family and they were "bro are u good" and I was like "Eve traumatized us for Xmas" (my family knows Eve very well since I talk about Eve every day of my life) he's so evil look at him and his nice " happy Xmas 😃🌲✨️" on Twitter.

I felt bad the whole night, and the day after (I wanted to cook an analysis so I watched it like, in ×0,25 speed, took screens etc... but it was making me anxious so I didn't post my analysis) then I decided to stop watching mv for two weeks.

But I am happy about the mv itself because it fit really well with what I was seeing when I was listening to the song.

The colors I was seeing were deep muddy brown and dark red and orange for the first part, dark gray and same brown and dark muddy yellow for second part and the high changing part was in really bright and clear/lightful colors. Also even before reading lyrics I knew this song talked about dying and I was seeing a character feeling worse and worse and then during high part where the melody changes suddently, the character was feeling so bad (and dying, like, committing suic1de) that everything was losing meaning, everything was meaning less and reality was like, blowing up ? Like instead of being on their bathroom the character was like floating above a city with a lot of colors flowing everywhere and stuff exploding but they survived and just continue to live their life 👍.

And so this mv somewhat really fit what I was seeing so I am happy (and traumatized 🕺)

- other thoughts :

I am a little sad because the official translation in the mv is not the same as the one I was reading and in the "official" translation they don't say "was I the one broken all this time" But something like "I was the crazy one all this time" and so this translation can't be liked with "Broken machine" by NBT 😭

And about the mv I was listening to a song called "Pourquoi la mort te fait peur?" (Could be translated by "why does death scares you") By a french singer called Pomme (its my fav song from her) and I had an animation and fanart idea (but unfortunately, I don't have enough skills to draw it). After changing part of sayonara end roll Tobi couldn't save Fuchi from drowning and so, instead of " sunday monday etc..", "Pourquoi la mort te fait peur" intro starts and Fuchi, not baby Fuchi but aldult Fuchi with the clothes he was drowning with, wakes up in the flower field, like its some kind of peaceful after life.

"Pourquoi la mort te fait peur" always gave me a feeling like, being on a wide warm windy afterlife field and here I thought "Dying in a flower field is such a beautiful way to die".

Cracking the Vault by Sierra Sutherwind Reminded of his younger days, Newkirk gives himself an inconveniently timed challenge - much to the dismay of Hogan and Schultz. They support him, but tbh they had their hands tied, what else could they do? (bonus: Schultz and the OCs in this fic go through some interesting developments, but they arent the focus in this category)

Once Is Enough by Abracadebra Newkirk is recruited as the reluctant accomplice in Marya's latest wild scheme. He shows off his skills at bluffing, snarking, and griping >:) i like how the more stressed he gets the funnier he gets haha

Autumn Winds by Fear-Of-The-Cold Newkirk's attitude toward human connection over the years, as it is influenced by his family and the world. we get to see a pre-Heroes POW Newkirk

The Assassin by lonewolfette9846 Newkirk is given the most important job in the war. And he has to do it alone. He does his best to keep his cover, and in the little time he has strategises his next moves. A very tense story - and that tension takes its toll on Newkirk. I like how methodical and tactical Newkirk comes across in this, despite the mission not being remotely in his experience.

4. what sports do you play/have played? i played football for 12 years growing up and then volleyball for my last two years of high school

5. do you use sarcasm? regularly. it’s my native language
