just read a delightful OT3 story in another fandom involving hot baths and massages, and now I am directly yoinking a bunch of its beats so I can tell myself a bedtime story about Lisa and Kaeya bullying Jean into a hot bath and massages. 10/10, do recommend
#she comes back filthy and exhausted from a big battle#and lisa is like 'you're not getting in my bed in that state'#jean is confused. there was no previous discussion of getting in lisa's bed. this was supposed to be kaeya's date night#and now will inevitably be swallowed up by post-mission reports#(but she and kaeya can sneak in some late-night couch cuddles while reviewing everyone else's reports. so it's fine. really)#at which point lisa informs them both that they are having their date night in her bathroom#look at them. merely stepping into the office would create an hour's worth of work for noelle. add another hour for every item they touch#do they want to do that to noelle? of course not. how COULD they#at which point kaeya is pretty enthusiastically getting with the program. surely they can write their reports at lisa's. once they're clean#waiting to review all the others' reports until tomorrow will give them the chance to clean up first too. great for morale#(and obviously lisa will now be inviting herself along on the bathroom date. it's her tub#jean will just have to endure both of them loving on her at once. how terrible. whatever will she do)#...damnit. logging this for later to see if i can write the bath-and-massages without actually completely ripping off this other writer#anyway#jean has two hands and two aides: coincidence?

I don't have anything for xisang week, bc I was planning on drawing this weekend and instead I just tried to convince my body that breathing is a fun and important function
I am legit so, so upset that I can't contribute to the event. I can't even reuse old unpublished fics, I have nothing that's shareable. And considering how writing has been going lately, the chances that I manage to write something in the coming week are comically low, and I don't know if I'll have time to try painting anything and blarg
I just want to have fun with these two stupid men, is that too much to ask?
#jau rants#I hope I'm better tomorrow for work#I'm REALLY hope I'm better tuesday bc I'm at the office+on a first aid course all day#but yeah today my brain level was so low I just played new pokemon snap all day

My dad was in the area yesterday so I got to eat dinner and talk to him about my plans post-uni. I told him about how I’m planning on probably not applying to any creative industries at all and instead get a full time job unrelated to art and animation and do freelance art and other art on the side. He seemed surprised but also understood that the industry as it is now is very different from where it was 3 years ago when my high school digital arts teacher told them that me getting into the industry was guaranteed.
I’m glad he took it well, I’ve been going back and forth in terms of confidence in my decision.
#for transparency; my current plan is to pick up a first aid certificate and hopefully get a job at a place nearby my apartment.#the first aid course is pretty expensive (between 130$-170$) so i might have to open some commissions to cover it.#the plan so far isn’t perfect since it hinges on me getting this specific job#but currently I’m just trying to work with what I have. hopefully it pays off.#telekitnetic's silly mind box

Me, ages 13-17, acting as one of the main participants of our school's first aid club, which effectively acted as a collective school nurse (keeping track of the little paperwork we had to do, being responsible while we didn't have adult supervision for a few years, training the newer members since we didn't have first aid classes until my last few years, etc.):
"Wow, I'm so happy with how much people trust me!"
Me now, a few years later: "What the actual fuck were they thinking, letting children handle this much responsibility?!?"
#i quit because the teacher who was supposed to lead the club came back to our school#after like five or six years of being gone#and she called me “her assistant” and only let me take responsiblity when convenient for her#i fucking hated her#especially since at that point i was more qualified than her. the only thing she was good for was communicating with adults#at least she managed to get us free official first aid courses (so i did two of those)#but yeah. couldn't imagine working under her.#anyway if you want details let me know i am willing to rant about this#rant#personal

Why Choose First Aid At Work Training Course by Kentec?
What is First Aid At Work and Its Importance?
First aid at work is an essential training course designed to empower employees with the skills and confidence needed to respond to workplace emergencies efficiently. This specific training includes a broad spectrum of medical scenarios such as CPR, AED usage, unconscious casualties, wound care and managing fractures and sprains.
When employees are trained in first aid at work by Kentec Training, they are not just learning procedures; they are also learning how to handle minor scrapes and choking incidents, recognize signs of heart attacks and strokes and treat significant environmental injuries like heat stroke or frostbite and other severe health crises.
Introducing first aid into workplace protocols is a vital step in fostering a safe and responsive work environment. This training even helps in mitigating the severity of injuries and encouraging a culture of preparedness and care among staff.
Reasons to Invest in First Aid at Work Program
1. Enhances the Safety of Employees: When your workforce is trained in first aid, it means they are more aware of potential hazards and can respond effectively to workplace emergencies, enhancing overall workplace safety and readiness.
2. Boosts Employees’ Morale: Learning how to handle emergencies can significantly enhance employees' confidence and morale, ensuring a supportive and positive environment.
3. Improve Teamwork Among Employees: Irrespective of training type, training sessions promote teamwork and build trust among employees as they learn to rely on each other in emergencies.
4. Legal Compliance: Many workplaces are legally required to have trained first aid personnel. Investing in first aid at work training ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, avoiding potential legal issues and fines.
Why Choose Accredited First Aid at Work Training Course?
Finding the most suitable first aid program for your workplace is essential to equip your employees with responsive capabilities so they can handle workplace emergencies effectively. When it comes to choosing the right course, some factors that need to be considered include the nature of the work environment, common risks and the workforce size. Collaborating with reputable training providers like Kentec means you can take benefits from their customized first-aid training programs that help you meet specific workplace needs.
The comprehensive first aid training course should cover general first aid skills and may also include specialized training in areas like emergency first aid or mental health support to address the unique challenges and ensure workplace compliance.
