My Sworn Brothers [Luffy x Crossover!Sister!Reader x Ace x Sabo]

A/N: Hey, so I want to write a High School AU of the many, many anime I have watched/ read. Bleach, Blue Exorcist, Devil is a Part-Timer, Durarara, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, High School of the Dead, InuYasha, Kill La Kill, Magi, My Hero Academia, Noragami, One Piece, Ouran High School Host Club, Pokemon, Saiki K, Sailor Moon, Seven Deadly Sins, Soul Eater, Sword Art Online, Vampire Knight, Your Lie in April, and Yu Gi-Oh. And I was wondering who would you like to be apart of your friend? And would you like to have a relation to any of the characters of the world.

Summary: [Y/N] is the oldest sworn sister to Luffy, Ace, and Sabo. And after finding Ace and Sabo aboard Luffy’s ship, the Thousand Sunny, she explains to them who she is, her other sworn brothers and sisters, embarrasses the three of them (a regular Tuesday for her), and threatens them with a chalkboard for interrupting her. Multiple times. In this story, most of the anime I am into is in the same world (Bleach, Blue Exorcist, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, InuYasha, Magi, My Hero Academia, Naruto, Noragami, Seven Deadly Sins, and Sword Art Online. I might do a part 2.

Warnings: spoilers for the above mangas and animes, also, even though this is along the timeline of after the time skip (at some point), I took the creative liberty to have Ace alive during this meeting for a quad family reunion, might be language

“How the hell am I suppose to believe that my three idiotic brothers would be in the same place at the exact same time I’m trying to find them?” the girl with [H/C] hair, old enough to be Luffy’s age, maybe a year younger or a year older than him.

“[Y/N]!!” the rubber boy flung himself at her in a hug.

She fell down on her butt from the impact of the hug. She groaned before pushing the boy off of her and standing up, dusting herself off. “Geez, Lu. I was on a job, just finished, and I heard something about a Straw Hat, a Fire Fist, and a blonde with a top hat that put the mad hatter to shame. I just came to see if the rumors are true.”

“What job did you have, sis?” Sabo said as he sipped a smoothie created from Vinsmoke Sanji.

“Well, you see. In the ten years I’ve been gone, I’ve been busy. Both with being lazy and being diligent.” the girl explained. “I am a member of Fairy Tail. Dragon Slayer Magic, particularly fire, water, earth, air, and plant. Requip the Knight. Some space jumping there and vortex opening here.”

“You got the two mixed up, kid.” Ace said from his spot next to Sabo.

The girl grinned an evil grin. “Oh, did I, Ace of Clubs?”

The raven haired pirate groaned at the nickname while Luffy’s crew members wondered after the nickname. Ace kept giving her the don’t-tell-them-anything look with a cut-it-out motion. She, like most people she knew, did not listen to reason.

“Well, when we were younger, I attempted to teach the pour unfortunate souls that you call Luffy, Sabo, and Ace golf. And we played mini-gold. First hole we went to, the club flew out of Ace’s hand and crashed into the window where the pour lady working the club stand was clonked on the head and fell unconscious. Another fun fact: I’m overly competitive and therefore master of mini gold. Luffy on the other hand... beat my bowling high score of just a little over four hundred points.” [Y/N] explained.

“THAT’S NOT HOW YOU PLAY GOLF, YOU IDIOT!” Usopp shouted at his captain.

“Ace was a lot worse. However, on the eighteenth hole, got a hole in one. Although with team sports, I always sided with Luffy ‘cuz he was the baby of the family.” she explained.

“Never play Volleyball with her unless you’re Luffy.” Sabo warned the Straw Hat Pirates.

“Could you... possibly.... explain who you are?” asked Nami.

“That’s an easy and excellent question, m’lady. I am [Y/N] [L/N], the daughter of the Demon King from the Demon Clan, Niece of Solomon, adoptive daughter of the great dragon, The Curse of Depravity, a mage of S-Class ranking, the best older sister anyone can have, a Shinigami, and the Pirate Fairy.” [Y/N] said with her hands on her hips like wonder woman.

“You’re not wonder woman, dumbass.” Ace muttered.

She scowled at the boy (who was now physically older than her). “I know that, asshole.” Ace shrugged his shoulders at that. “Anyways, I should get going. I’m here with my teammates. And Salamander will have a cow if he finds out I’m on a Pirate Ship. Which may or may not include Natsu asking you all to fight him at once for his sister.” [Y/N] shrugged.

“SISTER?!” Luffy screeched.

“YOU ALREADY REPLACED US?!” Ace and Sabo said in unison.

“This is why I never took you to Amusement parks or sat next to you on a ride.” she clenched at her swollen ears. “No, I was merely saying that I have something called [Y/N]’s Council of Brothers. They’re basically a band of boys I feel need my protection, wisdom, and power to embarrass them until they’re six feet under and rotting.”

“She’s dark.” Nami said. “But can you explain this whole Council of Brothers thing. Because I’m not sure they,” the ginger pointed to the three brothers, “understand.”

“Alright! I will go over a lesson here!” and suddenly a white board appeared by her side with writing already on it.

“Where did you get the white board?” asked Luffy.

“That’s not important right now.” she scowled. “Yes, Sabo.”

“Was that Whiteboard always there and we just never noticed it?” the blonde asked.

“No. Ace if this is a question about the white board, I will smack you with the same gold club that flew through that window. All questions about the stupid whiteboard will be answered after I explained everything. Got it?”

The three brothers grumbled out a, “Yes.”

“Good. Anyways, to start it off I have two half-brothers. Meliodas and Zeldris.” she slapped a pointer stick against the whiteboard.

“Did she always have that?” Ace asked, whispering it to his two brothers.

“I don’t know. I’m just glad someone noticed it besides me.” Sabo murmured back.

“SILENCE, YOU INSOLENCE FOOLS!” and she threw a frying pan which hit Ace in the head.

Why does she have a frying pan in her requips? Sabo wondered in his head, not wanting to get hit in the head with anything else she might have to throw at them.

“Anyways, Meliodas and Zeldris are my half-brothers. Zeldris is the captain of the Demon Clan’s ten Commandments while Meliodas is the captain of Liones’s Seven Deadly Sins of which I am co-captain and the Phoenix Sin of Darkness. To be fair, I look more like my mother and I think the only thing me, Meliodas, and Zeldris share is our dumbassery we inherited from our father. Second off, my cousin is Magi Aladdin since my mother is his father, Solomon,’s sister. Now, that’s enough of my actual biological family. Now, I won’t go into detail about those three. Because you already seem well-acquainted with one another. Anyways, onto the next one. The next one on my list of brothers is a half-demon named Rin who is the son of Satan along with his younger brother, Yukio, but he doesn’t really need protection. next is Kazuto Kirigaya also known as Kirito. I prefer to call him that. He got stuck in a game where if you die there, you die in real life, but he defeated them. next, we have Satan himself, a king of demons, Sadou Maou. He works as a part-timer for a fast food chain which is sad to be honest. Next, we have Alibaba Saluja, a prince and a king’s candidate, also my cousin’s best friend. He wields the fire djinn, Amon. Also, he’s trying to be a gladiator while figuring out his feelings for Fanalis and former slave Morgiana. Next, we have actual God Yato who is a former god of calamity and a current god of war. I think. I’m not quite sure. But he and his two regalia, Yukine and a Nora named Kazuma, but also Kazune under Yato, must be protected by me at all cost. Then, we have Edward Elric, a alchemist missing both a leg and an arm because he wanted to see his mom’s smile again which kicks me in the heartstrings whenever I hear it. His brother, Alphonse, is an honorary member of the Council of Brothers. And he used to be entirely a soul attached to a suit of armor. No joke.”

“Does no one else notice that they are mostly raven haired or blonde?” Nico Robin commented.

The Straw Hat Pirates turned to the three sworn brothers who just shrugged their shoulders at that. “I admit I am guilty for that. But my actual brothers are raven headed and blonde, so that may be the reason. Anyways, off to the next people. Now, this person could make Luffy look like a genius. Sometimes. Natsu Dragneel, a salmon haired fire dragon slayer, is the brother of Zeref Dragneel, the black wizard, and also simultaneously END, the most powerful demon of the book of zeref which makes him one of the top fifteen most powerful demons. Next, we have strawberry boi, Ichigo Kurosaki, a shinigami who I’ve been helping train. He could see the dead and then he discovered his spiritual power, stole the shinigami powers of Rukia Kuchiki, and started to exorcist hollows and send souls to the soul society. Then, we have my favorite band of brothers since they could literally be in a band. Broccoli Boi, Izuku Midoriya, kinda has a power augmentation quirk, best way to describe it without giving too much away, Porcupine Katsuki Bakugo who can blow things up with help from his sweat. Zuko Wannabe Shoto Todoroki who can wield fire and ice. Also, his brother Touya may or may not be Dabi. Then, Pikachu Kaminari Denki who can utilize elctricity, but too much and he makes Luffy look like a genius. No joke. Well… maybe… I don’t really know. Anyways, then we have speedster Tenya Iida. Oh, there’s sharkboy Eijiro Kirishima. He can make himself go as hard as rock, but he has limitations. Then, we have spidertape Hanta Sero that can shoot tape out of his elbows. Then, half-demon InuYAsha who is the son of a dog demon and a mortal woman. There’s also Shippo who is an adorable little kitsune. And I think I got everyone.” the girl looked at her board before smacking it again as she noticed Luffy had begun to doze off while Ace had totally fallen asleep.

The action alerted the two boys to wake up at once and glare at their older sister. And then, a silver haired undead man with a flying blue cat landed on the floor of the ship. “Thank goodness we found you. C’mon. We got a mission and you and your ‘Team Natsu’ have a job request from the old man and a princess.”

“So Hisui and Bartra both agree to have us do something, but what is this so-called mission?” asked [Y/N].

Ban smirked. “We’re fighting slave-trading pirates.”

“I want in!” Luffy cheered.

If Our World is Ended had an English Cast

So while in quarantine, I’m going back and attempting to catch up on the many games I got for Christmas and my birthday, that I haven’t played as of yet. I recently finished Fire Emblem Three Houses and am almost done with Astral Chain. The next game on my list is a game called Our World is Ended and I’m only like 30 minutes in and I already love this game! I’ve somehow gotten the added bonus of owning the Limited Edition artbook through buying it, so I’ve already taken a good look at the members of Judgement 7, a small company group of game designers, and have basically got the rundown on what their characters are like. My only qualms with the game so far are that it has a severe lack of cult following. Like, seriously, this game is really good, why is no one talking about it!? And the second is that there is a significant lack of an English casting. I don’t mind the Japanese dialogue, but if I play this type of game and hear it constantly, then it gets a little too much to handle, so for my playthrough, I turned voices off. However, I was wondering if the game did end up getting a localised dub, which probably won’t happen but IF IT DID then here’s who I think would voice the main members of the group.

Also, please note, I haven’t got very far into the game yet, so if you’ve played this then please refrain from spoiling me on important plot points.

Sekai Owari: Todd Haberkorn

Sekai Owari is the main programmer of the group, and his basic character is that he’s a massive pervert. He’s bluntly honest and always speaks his mind and somehow has the strange ability to guess the measurements of any woman at first glance. In the original dub, he’s voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, but I feel the voice of Todd Haberkorn would really suit him in an english dub. Haberkorn’s repertoire consists of characters like Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail, Shiro Iori from Kill La Kill, Haruka Nanase from Free! Death the Kid from Soul Eater, Italy from Hetalia, and many many more. He also did the voice of a similarly perverted character in the second Danganronpa game, Teruteru Hanamura.

Iruka No.2: Patrick Seitz

No, his real name is not Iruka No.2, but it’s the name he uses when he’s in the office. His role in the group is the planner/script writer for the games, and he’s a fan of fantasy worlds and anime. In the Japanese dub, he’s voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. One of his most notable features is that he’s quite...well...large. He’s a very big character, and his overall appearance makes me think that he’s someone that Patrick Seitz would voice. Some of his big roles include Ragna the Bloodedge from BlazBlue, Franky from One Piece and Agil from SAO, not to mention Endeavour from My Hero Academia, Gamagoori from Kill La Kill and Dio from the English Dub of Jojo Part 3.

Asano Hayase: Kari Wahlgren

Ayano is the unfortunate sound designer, who is not only sad and lonely in reality, but also has a weird power to absolutely wreck any machine that she touches, who is voiced by Eri Kitamura. She’s also quite hot headed and fiery tempered, and the minute she was on screen, she gave me pretty heavy vibes of Kagami from Lucky Star, so I figured maybe she could be voiced by Kagami’s English VA Kari Wahlgren. Wahlgren has also done a lot of background voices of minor characters in many american TV shows, and has also voiced Kitana in Mortal Kombat 11 and also Saber in the Fate series.

Natsumi Yuki: Molly Searcy

Now call me crazy if you’ve played this game, but right from the get go, Natsumi is already my best girl for this game. She’s stoic and hard-hearted, and honestly she’s been nothing but rude to me so far, but to be honest, there’s an air about her that has left me entranced. Of course, I believe I’ve stated somewhere before that I don’t really tend to fall for fictional characters, but I am entranced nonetheless. While voiced by Saori Onishi in the original, I feel like someone like Molly Searcy would work for her. Searcy is no stranger when it comes to voicing stoic characters, since she did the english voice for both Akame in Akame Ga Kill and Isuzu Sento in Amagi Brilliant Park. Alongside that she has many reprisals as Magical Sapphire in the Fate/kalied liner series.

Tatiana Alexandrovna Sharapova: Janice Kawaye

Good luck saying that name aloud. At the point I’m at, I’m yet to be fully introduced to Tatiana, and all I really know about her is that she’s a Russian foreigner, is the sub-programmer of Judgement 7 and is the youngest of the group. She’s also voiced by Yumiri Hanamori in the original japanese version of the game. If there was an English Dub, I personally believe someone like her could easily be voiced by Janice Kawaye, who has previously voiced characters like Peko Pekoyama in Danganronpa, Lysithea Von Ordelia in Fire Emblem Three Houses and Shizuku in HunterXHunter. She also does the voice of Jenny or XJ-9 in My Life as a Teenage Robot.

Yuno Hayase: Abby Trott

Voiced by the amazing Ayane Sakura, Yuno is the first major character in the game that you get introduced to, other than the protagonist Reiji Gozen. She’s your stereotypical bubbly natured, air-headed company assistant with a pretty impressive figure, which trust me, is something that the game points out to you several times. She’s pretty good at cooking and housework and works as a part-time assistant for Judgement 7. When it comes to characters like her, my mind immediately goes to characters that are voiced by Abby Trott, like Annette from Three Houses, Maya from Ace Attorney and even Nezuko from Demon Slayer.

Reiji Gozen: Josh Grelle

I was considering Bryce Papenbrook, but honestly, Josh Grelle fits this better than anyone else can. Reiji Gozen is the main player character of this game, and is voiced by Ryota Osaka in the original version. His job is Assisting Director, meaning he is to carry out literally any chores given to him. Josh Grelle works the best because he’s previously voiced characters like Yukiteru Amano from Future Diary, Tanukichi Okuma from Shimoneta, Yuri Katsuki from Yuri on Ice, Armin Arlet from Attack on Titan and Shido Itsuka from Date a Live, all of whom in a manner of speaking are kind of submissive, somewhat wimpy characters similar to that of Reiji. However, every protagonist has a bit of badass in them, and I highly doubt Reiji is any acception, making Grelle who has also voiced Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia and Issei Hyodo from Highschool DXD, an even better fit for the role.

I might make a second part for this as I go through the rest of the game, but I seriously recommend this game to anyone and I really want there to be more fanart of it on Tumblr and Reddit, so GO DO THAT!

Whoops it’s been a while since I posted a mini-bio!

Sting Eucliffe

-Quirk: Refraction - Sting is able to bend and control light to his will. He can change brightness from a light source, and fire off light from his hands. His quirk gets harder to use at night and dark areas like caves, as fewer light sources are available.

-Class 1-A vice rep! He’s a little much at times, but he’s very good at cheering on his class mates and hyping them up.

-Has been best friends with Rogue since they were kids, and their quirks developed around the same time as each other.

-Looks up to Natsu but ultimately, wants to surpass him some day.

-Dreams of starting up his own pro-hero agency.

-Is a trans man!

-Is the biggest eater in class 1-a and most of the other classes in general. Only Minerva can eat more than him.

Chelia Blendy

-Quirk: Pegasus - Has wings on her ankles that allow her to run at superhuman speed, and let her float for a short amount of time. She utilizes her speed by delivering kicks at breakneck speeds.

-Has to get her shoes specially made to fit her ankle wings.

-Likes to make “Gotta go fast!” jokes all the time and is super playful during battles.

-Is best friends with Wendy Marvell!!! Sure would like to be more than friends tho :’)

-Will sneak sweets into class for her and Wendy. Food’s totally not allowed in class but just try to stop her.

Rogue Cheney

-Quirk: Shadow - Allows Rogue to control shadow and create attacks out of shadow. This quirk is easier for them to use at night when there’s more darkness. Their quirk also allows them to blend into darkness seamlessly.

-Would like to be an underground hero someday, their quirk perfect for stealth missions and staying low.

-Is pretty serious faced most of the time. It’s really hard to make them laugh, and so far, Sting has been the only one to make them laugh so hard they can’t breathe.

-Is constantly trying to sneak in their cat to school, especially when the dorms are built. Actually scratch that, every slayer with a cat tries to sneak in their respective pet.

-Skin burns very easily, so they’ve gotta stay covered and/or wear lots of sunscreen.

-Is much sweeter than their appearances let on.

Lyon Vastia

-Quirk: Ice Sculpt - Can make large structures out of ice, thought anything he makes has to be a specific design, eg. animals, bridges.

-Like Gray, also has a lower body temperature than others and gets hot very easy. Can often control himself better than Gray when it comes to stripping, but you do not wanna be around when that control breaks.

-Has a crush on Juvia,,,,but also has a crush on Loke, someone please help this bi disaster

-Also wants to be an intern for Ur, and will fight Gray for the spot

-Usually levelheaded, but can be an arrogant son of a bitch when it comes to one upping Gray

-Sees himself as a big brother figure to Chelia

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 16

Well, this was a surprise. I can officially say that after reading thins, the Dragon Eaters are better final villain group than the Spriggans.

Our cover page is Laxus emitting Lighting. Cool.

So we open on the climax of the last chapter’s fight, with Wendy’s top burned off thanks to the intense flames.

Hi Lucy, would’ve been real great to have had your help!

Anyway, Lucy summons Gemini of all spirits to get Wendy clothing from the celestial spirit realm. I have to ask, why Gemini? You’re still in the virgo outfit, you’d think this be more her thing on account of Virgo being the one who originally gave up clothing.

Gonna agree with Carla here. What even is that outfit? Some gothic lolita thing, but it’s got these diamond patterns for the sole purpose of showing off her naval.

Oh and Gray is here too. Its sad that the guy who throughout the story was the most fashionable is still in his trunks.

Gray lands and gives his one liner, but Skullion with just a word tells Madmorl to stand up and he does.

So I’m gonna give credit here to Hiro, who I think realized last chapter that Natsu’s use of fire dragon king K.O-ing Madmorl in this fight when he had already shown Madmorl taking a fire dragon king fist like its nothing, seems to show Madmorl as being able to withstand it. Though they do imply that Madmorl is not in the condition to fight later in the chapter.

Now in my defense of my rant last week, I still stand by what I said about Madmorl’s high defense shouldn’t have taken any damage last fight, especially after watching his endure Natsu’s fire dragon king’s demolition fist. However, if we go by the theory that the armor dragon is a variation of metal like iron, then that means like iron, Madmorl’s armor it can be heated up and he is not fully in a metal form like Gajeel’s scales so its possible that Madmorl’s fleshy bits got burned regardless of his resistant armor.

We cut to Erza and Kyria and we see the ship melting and Erza has re-quipped into her Flame Empress armor. Not gonna lie, when I saw that, I got a nostalgia trip. Seriously, I was really happy to see the armor again, not only cause of time, but because Erza is finally using what her actual magic is, ARMOR!

However, in terms of clothing Kyria seems to be losing hers thanks to the heat. Seems like only the women’s clothing is being affected, while Skullion’s outfit is just doing peachy-keen.

Hey umm, why didn’t you eat Natsu and Wendy yet? Kyria said she was keeping them alive to appease her pet Erza, but for a group that hunts dragons you think Skullion and Madmorl wouldn’t put up with that, and eat them regardless of what Kyria wanted. It is possible that they can only eat them in a certain place, as I keep going back to, Skullion mentioned this “dinner table” and I thought that be important.

So I hope that salamander your referring to is your attack, Erza, cause Natsu did jack-shit to effect your fight. It’s not like in this melting environment Kyria slipped and you capitalized on it. Maybe she’s referring to when Kyria leaves this battlefield and thinks the dragon slayers could finish the job? I’m pretty sure its not because Erza seemingly handled Kyria just fine.

Also here’s where I got to bust out the nitpicking, so the attack is fire based and that makes sense, since the flame empress armor comes with a sword that can use fire. But she’s not using that sword, she’s using Belserion the dragon slaying sword. Now we know Erza can mix and match weapons and armors as with her with Ajeel where she had the wind god armor, the wind god sword, and the sea empress sword. But the thing is, the wind god sword emitted wind because it was the wind god sword, but Belserion is not a fire sword yet it is emitting fire.

Now you could say its the armor, but its not. The armor is basically a separate entity as is can be alternated with different weapons. This means that Flame Empress armor still has the same ability as always, it resists fire. But instead of dual wielding her flame empress sword, she’s using her belserion. Why? Belserion is enchanted with the Sage Dragon Magic which doesn’t seem to have anything to do with fire.

The only thing I could think of is that maybe this means that sage dragon slaying magic is like enchantment and it basically allows you to enchant any other magic into it like Irene did with Deus Sema. That’s likely what the case was, but it’s still hideously broken. Seriously that sword is basically anything with that skill. Or maybe I’m over thinking this and the simple answer is, it looks cool.

Though we see Kyria live through this attack which I have to ask why does she need slaying magic? Cause non-slayers can hurt and almost kill slayers. I mean look at Tartaros, Torafuzar was beating Gajeel’s body into, Jiemma was blowing up Sting and Rogue. Back on Tenrou, Bluenote squashed Natsu. I mean, Dragon slayers aren’t really like dragons if you get what I’m saying. They can still be beaten by non dragon magic.

We cut to the top of the ship where we get a stare down. However, Skullion decides to start a chat about the Water God when Natsu says thy’ll handle it. Skullion wonders if they’ll kill him and says its no different than eating them.

With the loss of the Water dragon god’s power, there is no point in eating him and given their current standing Skullion actually acts smart and actually retreats. While also likely threatening the other dragon gods as they are dragon eaters.

So they leave saying they have more Dragon Eaters though Im not sure why everyone is so surprised. They have 4 dragon slayers at their guild and these guys were just 3 with none confirmed as the master. I guess they’re referring to power, but the only people who can’t keep up with the dragon eaters are Lucy, Happy, and Carla because they’re the weakest.

That said, the fact Kyria and Madmorl after taking these big shots are still moving, actually shows them as being a threat. Like I said this at the beginning but these guys are honestly better than the spriggans. Mainly cause they weren’t hyped as being on the level of the number 1 wizard saint, actually can withstand a confrontation with FT, and actually win a fight against them. It also helps that we can be gradually introduced to them instead of giving them a set number.

So Skullion infinity war teleports away leaving their ship.

Did everyone just have a brain fart? We just had Natsu produce a flame so hot that it burned off people in the near by vicinity’s clothing. What are ships usually made out of folks? Wood. And what did we see happen to the ship as an effect of Natsu’s fire form the last chapter, it melting. So what happens when wood burns? It turns to ash and charcoal!

I get the idea, but talk about poor use of a plot point here.

Also Gray says no maker magic is that precise, I’m guessing what he means is how it looks like wood without resembling ash at all. Because Gray and Lyon made a ship out of ice with their maker magic. Also no one has brought up the idea that maybe Skullion, who can teleport away in Ash, just ash teleported his ship? Guess the obvious questions aren’t being asked today.

If this was just supposed to be a joke by Erza I get that, but man this just feels so out of place.

We cut back to the Water Dragon’s temple where his usless assiatant is watching over him. And before anyone calls that mean, this bitch has contributed nothing to the plot, didn’t even raise a finger to protect the water god, and got mad at the people who actually tried to protect him. I guess you could say as his adoptive daughter, she was acting on her emotions. But she left and barely said a word or gave her prospective when the Water dragon god was explaining everything.

Anyway something has apparently arrive and we end with this image.

Does the water god have to choke a bitch? Yeah we know he isn’t going to harm her.

Post chapter follow up: You know, for all my nitpicking, I actually like this chapter. It makes the villains seem more competent, it tries to fix my issues with last chapter, and its honestly trying to make build up for villains which is something only Zeref really got.

My main negatives are mainly minor. Usually any character acting questionable or the ability of magic being inconsistent. But at this point, I will take my victories where I can get them. Madmorl wasn’t beaten by something we know he can survive. Good. Erza’s sword continues to not make sense, but god damn it was nice to actually see her use a goddamn armor this sequel.

Also shout out to the pacing, for balancing a good amount of action and plot. It did help it was trying to tie up loose ends. This is honestly the first time in a while that I’m actually interested in what’s actually happening in the quest part of the 100 years quest.

Natsu would smile as he talked about food with Gerald. He'd only heard bits and pieces about how much the younger male loved food before actually meeting him like this. Ink must have mentioned his cooking at some point and Gerald overheard her. Not that it bothered the Fire Dragon. He positively loved to cook and he loved when people enjoyed his cooking as well.

"Dango is typically a snack, but it can also be sweet or savory. Flavor can be added to the rice flour before it's steamed to give it a bit of oomph. Most people tend to just make it lightly sweetened by adding some sort of sugar to the dipping sauce though."

Dango was a treat that most people didn't often get to enjoy which was one of the reasons that the Fire Dragon would make it so often. He'd typically take a few dozen dango sticks to the guild hall and pass them out to those who enjoyed them. He wasn't the type of person to force someone to try them if they didn't want to, either. After hearing that Jaron liked lasagna or sea food, the fire user would grin once more.

"Sea food huh? What about a sea food stew or soup? You think he'd like something like that? I can always whip up both and some lasagna if you think it'd be better that way. I don't mind!"

#29 - “How is my husband more badassthan me?”

Everyone knew thatGajeel’s brute strength went unmatched.

So, it was no surprisewhen he challenged anybody who was willing to fight him with no magic. If theywon, he’d pay them a thousand Jewel, and if he won, vice versa.

Natsu had gonefirst.

He frowned as heremembered versing Gajeel last week, no magic involved, only fists.

He was ashamed, butnot unwilling to admit, that the other Slayer had beaten the crap out of him.

In his defense, Natsuwasn’t a very skilled martial artist, preferring to punch and kick and blowfire till his opponent was down just by using brute strength, and Gajeel was aboutten times Natsu’s size in muscle mass. That gave him a slight edge, and heexploited it for all it was worth.

Natsu missed that onethousand Jewel.

The fighting hadgone on and on, Gajeel increasing the stakes. The losers would only pay him athousand Jewel, but if he lost, he’d pay them all he had earned.

This prospect enticeda lot of the other members, especially Lucy. She had fought for surprisinglylong considering her small frame and weak body, and had come close to matching Gajeel,revealing that Erza had trained her, but he had won in the end.

Even Erza, on her blondegirlfriend’s behest, had gone against him, only to lose by a millimetre.

Gajeel had ended upearning a million Jewel – a hundred members had ended up challenging him andlost.

“Is the Ice Boyscared?” Gajeel had asked when Gray had not come forward to fight him.

“No way in hell,”Gray had said, looking intrigued at the high stakes, and didn’t wait a secondto attack, launching a flurry of blows onto the much burlier man.

Even now, Natsuwatched as Gray landed a skilful high kick to Gajeel’s unguarded side,following it up by wrenching his arm behind his back and twisting, hard. The Fire Dragon Slayer winced - thathad got to hurt.

Gajeel growled and triedto punch Gray, but he was too fast. His smaller, lighter frame gave him the advantagein a pure martial arts fight. Gray landed another hit, this time to Gajeel’sknees, and the Iron Dragon Slayer groaned in pain.

Natsu didn’t getit. Gray was the pretty-boy who was all about the looks.

He was the badass one, the rock star,the guy with the rippling muscles who saved the day with hisawesome-as-all-hell fire.

So how was Graybeing so... so...

So badass rightnow?!

“...how is myhusband more badass than me?” he muttered.

Across from him,Gray had Gajeel on the ground, one foot pressing the iron-eater’s thick neck tothe floor, his knee on Gajeel’s chest, arms pinning the rest of the giant down.

“I win,” hebreathed.

Mirajane looked shocked,but her face soon split into a grin.

“Winner, GrayFullbuster! Pay up, Gajeel!” she shouted delightedly.

Gray looked all toosmug as he pocketed the million Jewel. He walked back over to Team Natsu’stable and sat down, smirking widely.

“Hey, Lucy,” hecalled.

The blondeCelestial Wizard turned around. “Yeah? Great job, by the way, Gray!”

He passed her half themoney.

“I don’t need allof it. Don’t worry.”

Lucy looked awed. “Thankyou, Gray!” she yelled, hugging him.

“Ah, it’s – no problem,”he choked.

“How are you morebadass than me?!” Natsu cried.

“What does that mean?”

“You’re supposed tobe Pretty Boy, with your looks and your beautiful ice. I’m supposed to be theone who looks all cool and saves the day!”

Gray smirked.

“You’re more cutethan cool, anyway,” he teased.

Natsu huffed and ignoredhim.

“Where did youlearn all that, anyway?” he asked eventually.

Gray’s eyes cloudedover.

“My mother was a professionalmartial artist. It ran in her family. I grew up fighting more than walking,” hesaid reflectively. “She didn’t have time to teach me everything, though. I’d onlylearnt aikido, karate, capoeira and taekwondo when – when it happened. And I practicedevery day. I taught myself the ones she had started teaching me but never finished– judo, kendo, Tai Chi – and I’m no master of any of those three, but that’s whereI learnt how to use a sword. I use martial arts because – that reminds me ofher. It reminds me that her blood flows in my veins. That she is still alive inmy heart. And my magic – my fighting style with my magic, it couldn’t haveevolved to what it is today without that.”

Natsu stared atGray for a minute.

Suddenly, he didn’tmind Gray being more badass than him in that respect. Not if it was tied to hisfamily.

“That’s so cool.” heuttered finally. “Would you – would you teach me?”

Gray looked him upand down, and then snorted. “For what? To continue the tradition? I’ll teachour kids when we adopt one.”

Kids?!

Gray had actuallythought about – kids?!

“Well, duh.” Graysnorted. “I want a family with you, idiot.”

Natsu looked atGray for a minute, before kissing him hard.

“I love you.”

“Yeah, yeah, I loveyou too.”

“How is my wife more badass than me?”

Erza could not believeher eyes.

Mirajane, her wife Mirajane,sweet, soft Mirajane, was practically skinning the mayor of Ertia alive withher razor tongue.

“And was it in the Job description that wewere supposed to babysit your two whiny kids?”

Silence.

“Yeah, I didn’tthink so. Please, don’t assume that we’re here to do all your grunt work, becauseif you assume, it makes an ass out of both you and me. Do you get it?!”

“Y – yes.” themayor said quietly.

“Now, you’re goingto shut up and give us our pay, andyou’re going to do it right. Every. Last. Jewel. Because those kids of yours,”and Mira leaned in, “are menaces. Menaces.”

Erza gulped.

“How is my wifemore badass than I am?” she muttered to herself.

“That’s because I’mthe brains of the pair, sweetheart,” returned Mira, clutching their payment andleaving a quick kiss on Erza’s cheek. “Come on. I have some good ideas for whenwe get home.”

Erza grinned andlet herself be led out.

Mira was morebadass than her, but that was okay.

I mean, the sex wasgood, so what more could Erza ask for?

The Erzajane is too short, I know, but I couldn’t think of anything else sowwiee :(( I hope the Gratsu comes up to standards, though!!

Long List of GrayLu Headcanons

I got this little OTP headcanon/survey thing from a variety of places - some from Tumblr, some from Pinterest - so I can’t properly credit one person for this.

Anyway, I was suffering from major GrayLu feels so I decided to write some random GrayLu headcanons via survey. It’s a long post so I added a “keep reading” link. Enjoy!

Who asks weird questions in the middle of the night and who hits them in the face with a pillow?

Lucy, being a writer, has an overactive imagination; so it comes as no surprise to Gray when she wakes him up in the middle of the night asking him how turtles procreate. Gray will give her an answer - sarcastically, of course - and proceed to smack her upside the head with his pillow.

Who worries about what they’ll look like when they get older?

You would think it would be Lucy, but actually Gray frets about it the most. He can already see his features reflecting his father’s more and more with each passing day and, although he’s never told her, Lucy knows that seeing his father in the mirror every day brings back painful memories for him. Sometimes, when Gray is getting ready in the morning looking into the mirror, Lucy will pop out from behind him, wrap her arms around him, and give him little pecks all over his shoulders while murmuring how much she loves him.

Who hogs the blanket?

Lucy for sure. Gray never gets cold so he doesn’t mind when she starts gathering all the blankets on her side of the bed, although he will give her a hard time about it. But Gray doesn’t really mind; it just gives him another excuse to cuddle up next to her at night.

Who is more likely to cry over a sad book or movie?

Both of them can get emotional, but Gray hides it better. If they’re watching a sad movie, Gray will play it off by drawing Lucy to him in an embrace to make her feel better. However, he’s also comforting himself by doing this. Lucy knows but never says anything.

Who talks smack while playing video games?

When it comes to Gray and Lucy, they can both throw down the insults. Lucy will start right off the bat, goading Gray while kicking his ass. It usually takes Gray a couple of losses to get riled up but once he does, he doesn’t stop until he’s won.

Who would enter both of them in to a talent show?

Lucy, definitely! She would do it just to mess with Gray, who would be totally annoyed at first. However, his competitive nature would get the best of him and he would pour his heart and soul into the act so they could win. Sometimes he winds up being more enthusiastic than Lucy.

Who would accidentally set the kitchen on fire while cooking?

Both Lucy and Gray are actually really good cooks... separately. When they try to cook together, they get so caught up in cracking jokes and being goofy that they forget they are cooking until the smoke detector goes off. Then they both panic. “CRAP, WE BURNED THE RICE AND NOW THE STOVE’S ON FIRE!” “PUT IT OUT, GRAY!” “HOW?!” “ARE YOU AN ICE MAGE OR NOT?”

Who would throw the other into the pool?

Gray would never dare to throw Lucy into a pool (he’s too afraid of her retribution). Lucy can’t throw Gray anywhere so instead, when she’s feeling cheekier than usual, she will full-on body tackle her unsuspecting lover into the pool screaming something random like “GET DOWN MR. PRESIDENT”.

Who shops for groceries?

Both of them enjoy shopping for groceries together, mostly because they spend their time making terrible puns with various foods. “Hey Gray, if you were a fruit, you’d be a fine-apple.” “Luce, these eggs look.... eggcellent.” After about an hour-and-a-half of ‘shopping’, they realize they still only have two items in their cart.

Who kills the spiders?

Lucy hates creepy-crawlies so she always makes Gray kill them. Gray once asked her if she’d rather him just toss them outside instead of killing them but she refused. When he asked her why, she replied that she was afraid the bug would go gather his friends and then launch an invasion on their home as retribution. “And you say I’m weird,” Gray had muttered.

Who is the morning/night person?

Lucy is ready to go first thing in the morning but can still be fairly active at night. Gray is a night owl through and through; he loathes having to wake up early. The only thing that can get him out of bed in the morning is the smell of Lucy’s cooking.

Who proposes?

Although Lucy likes being independent, she is also a hopeless romantic and had always dreamed of being proposed to. This suited Gray just fine because he wanted to be the one to ask Lucy anyways. With Loke’s help, Gray took Lucy to the Celestial Spirit World and popped the question while Lyra played a beautiful melody. Lucy was moved to tears and leapt into Gray’s arms excitedly saying, “Yes! Yes! Yes!”

Which one cuts the others’ hair?

Cancer usually cuts both Gray’s and Lucy’s hair. However, there was one time when the two decided to let each other cut the other’s hair.... which ended in total disaster. Gray had a Bozo the Clown look going on while each section of Lucy’s hair was completely different lengths. Needless to say, Cancer had to fix their hair and the two of them vowed never to become each other’s hair stylist again.

Which one makes coffee for the other every morning?

Lucy, being the morning person, will usually make the coffee. However, when Lucy is sick or it’s a special occasion (like her birthday) Gray will force himself to get out of bed before her and make the first pot so she can rest.

Which one likes their music on full volume?

Lucy prefers to keep her music quieter, as she usually listens to music when she writes for inspiration. Gray loves his music and prefers blasting it as loudly as he can, sometimes purposefully invoking Lucy’s wrath just to mess with her.

Which one is ticklish?

Lucy is the most ticklish; you could tickle any part of her body and she would laugh. Gray didn’t seem ticklish at all until one day, Lucy accidentally found his weak spot. It’s the bottom of his feet.

Which one sings and which one plays the music?

Both of them sing together, with Lucy singing melody while Gray sings harmony and plays the guitar. One of their favorite songs to sing together is “20 Years” by The Civil Wars.

Which one says “no” right after the other takes a deep breath?

Usually when Lucy takes a deep breath while they’re on a job, she’s about to launch into a ridiculously hair-brained scheme that she believes is 100% foolproof when it isn’t (remember Galuna Island, folks). Since Gray is the only one she’ll listen to, he’s the one who immediately answers “NO” before she can explain.

Who is a fussy eater and who will eat food even if they dropped it on the floor?

Lucy is more of a picky eater than Gray... but then again, Gray will eat anything. He’s not as obsessed with food as Natsu is but he does love Lucy’s cooking. If any bit of food Lucy cooks falls on the floor, Gray will not hesitate to eat it. After Lucy questioned why he would do that, Gray replied nonchalantly “Tastes no different, really” to which Lucy rolled her eyes and said sarcastically “Gee, thanks for the compliment”.

Who has an adorable sneeze & who sneezes so aggressively they pull a muscle?

Much to his dismay, and Lucy’s enjoyment, Gray has a ridiculously cute sneeze. Lucy’s, though, sounds like an sonic boom. She sneezes so hard her muscles jerk reflexively, sometimes accidentally slapping Gray in the process. Her sneeze is so powerful, she’ll occasionally knock herself on her ass. Gray thinks it’s hysterical.

Who has better puppy dog eyes?

Gray has cute puppy dog eyes, but Lucy’s are way better... and she knows it, too. That’s how she manages to get Gray to try things he normally wouldn’t do (like the talent show). She thinks that Gray isn’t on to her little trick but he totally knows; it’s just another one of her quirks he loves.

Who uses their words to fight & who uses their fists?

Gray, as he’s gotten older, prefers to settles fights through verbal exchange; he’ll only fight with his fists if he’s sparring with Natsu. Lucy uses her legs, even when she’s 80 years old.

Who says “I love you” first?

Juvia was constantly making declarations of love to Gray so when Lucy discovered that she had fallen for the ice mage, she decided to wait and let Gray be the first one to say it. Gray took his sweet old time, however, and Lucy thought that she might just have to initiate. Then, one night while they were on a date, Lucy made an adorable laugh that caused Gray to accidentally blurt out, “I love you!” Lucy was shocked for a moment, then gave Gray a quick peck on the lips and said cheekily, “Geez, what took you so long?”

Who makes the puns/shitty references?

They are both equally as guilty when it comes to this; however, Gray makes more puns while Lucy makes the shitty references.

(Fun Fact: Gray’s favorite meme is “Lemme smash” while Lucy’s is Kermit sipping the tea)

Who has the most scars?

It’s actually a tie. One night, Gray and Lucy were trying to compare scars to see who “won” by having the most. When they realized they both had the same amount, the competition escalated to Lucy saying, “Yeah, well I saw myself die!” and then Gray retaliated with, “I did die!” They both paused for a moment then laughed for an hour at how ridiculous they sounded.

On a side note, Gray is proud of his scars as they show everything he’s been through... but he hates seeing Lucy’s scars because it reminds him of everything she’s been through.

Who has the most nightmares?

Lucy’s nightmares are darker and scarier (comes from having an overactive imagination) but they’re not frequent like Gray’s. He's always had them but ever since he started dating Lucy, those awful memories of seeing her battered and broken at the Grand Magic Games or getting severely burned by END’s book will come back to haunt him. They both will wake up from their nightmares, panting and/or weeping, and the other always wakes up to comfort them with soothing words such as “Don’t worry, I’m here” and “We’re safe”.

Who screams during horror movies?

Lucy will freak out and scream at the little suspenseful moments when nothing truly scary happens, making her snuggle into Gray. He will wrap his arm around her and say something like, “Come on, Luce, it’s not real.” Of course, as soon as the real monster shows up, he joins Lucy in cowering behind the blanket. They have yet to make it through a Conjuring movie...

Who is a dog/cat person?

Gray is a dog person. Lucy is a Plue person :)

Who pushes the door when it says “pull”?

Lucy will accidentally push on a door and get frustrated right away. With a snicker, Gray will point out the “PULL” sign on the doorway. Lucy will give a huff and Gray will laugh... and then proceed to do the exact same thing Lucy did.

Who uses all the toilet paper without replacing it & who is left stranded on the toilet?

Gray never remembers to replace the toilet paper when he’s done with it. He’ll be sitting in the living room when he hears Lucy shriek from the bathroom, “DAMMIT GRAY HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HAD THIS DISCUSSION?”

Who always forgets to remove their headphones before they stand up?

Gray, every time. Lucy will be making dinner in the kitchen when she hears a loud crashing sound coming from upstairs, followed by Gray’s voice uttering a chain of profanities. With a smirk, Lucy will call out,“Headphones?” to which Gray replies “... Yes” in a sulky tone .

Gym Class Disaster

Word Count: 3593 Pairing: Nalu Summary: Modern school AU where Lucy gets hurt in gym class but luckily Natsu is by her side! In this one shot Layla is still alive just because I can ;) AN: Hope you enjoy I’ve been working on this ALLLL week so let me know what you think. I’ll post it on fanfiction as well. Gym class had to be Lucy’s least favorite class of the school day. She disliked it even more than math class which said something. It’s not that she hated exercising or playing sports even if she wasn’t as physically adept as her friend Erza, but it was people like Erza that made her dread second period every day.

The red head and most of the guys in the class would become so competitive no matter the sport they were playing. Once, Erza sent some poor kid to the nurse playing ping-pong. Lucy shivered at the unpleasant memory, attempting to rub her goosebumps in an effort to ward of the goosebumps forming up her pale arms as she trudged towards the gym. Slipping into the girl’s locker room, the blonde found her locker, quickly changing into the required gym uniform. The outfit consisted of slippery red tee shirt with the school’s name Fairy Tail stretched across her chest accompanied with black shorts with the school’s emblem on the right leg.

After switching clothes, Lucy headed into the gym that never seemed to have good air conditioning so she tied up her long blonde hair. She could just be standing there and begin to sweat! The boys per usual changed faster than the girls so they were already out on the basketball courts, itching to play whichever sport that was on the agenda for that day. “Hey, Luce!” A pink haired boy waved her over.

“Hi, Natsu,” Lucy greeted her long time best friend. The two had met in junior high when Lucy finally convinced her parents to allow her to attend public school rather than being trapped at home with boring tutors her father hired. Layla was fine with the idea but it took Jude quite a bit of convincing. Eventually they compromised that Lucy could go to school as long as her grades never went below a B-.

“Are you still coming over for dinner?” the blonde asked, not like it wasn’t normal which for them it wasn’t. Her parents, more specifically her mother, adored having Natsu over for dinner and it helped that he wasn’t a picky eater and praised Layla’s cooking skills at every meal. The boy would inhale any plate of food placed in front of him.

“Damn straight!” Natsu pounded his fists together, eyes lighting up. “I’m so excited for your Mom’s cooking!”

“You don’t even know what she is making,” she pointed out with a light giggle.

"Don’t matter. I love anything your Mom makes!” A whistle pierced through the air forcing their conversation to end and causing Natsu to cup his hands over his hypersensitive ears.

“Everyone get in line!” a short, white haired old man yelled. Lucy did not understand how someone so tiny could be so loud. Despite being small, the gym teacher was still intimidating so all his students did as he asked. Lucy stood with her arms folded under her chest beside Erza while Natsu started picking a fight with Gray.

“I just hope we aren’t playing dodgeball,” a small freshman spoke in her soft voice as she stood on Erza’s other side.

“You have nothing to worry about, Wendy,” the scarlet haired woman assured the younger girl. “As long as you stay close to me I’ll make sure you are safe.”

“Thanks Erza,” the girl with dark blue hair visibly relaxed. Even though she was younger, Wendy fit right into their friend group. Erza, Natsu and Gray were all seniors, Lucy and Juvia were juniors and Erza’s boyfriend, Jellal, was a freshman in college so he was hardly ever around.

“All right you brats!” Mr. Dreyer grabbed their attention again. “Today we will be playing soccer outside on the fields. Teams will not be picked today by you all,” his only response was a chorus of groans and mumbled complaints which he ignored. As a teacher he was used to unhappy teenagers. “Now quit your complaining so you can hear the teams I’ve assigned! Team A will be Erza, Natsu, Wendy, Juvia, Lisanna and Kianna. Team B will be Gray, Gajeel, Elfman, Levy, Mira, and Lucy.” The old man ointed his fingers towards the doors. “Head on out to the fields.”

Lucy moaned, dragging her feet against the ground, trying to avoid the inevitable. Not only was Natsu on the opposite team, Erza was as well. This was going to be plain awful.

“Why couldn’t Juvia have been on Gray-Sama’s team?” the blue haired girl practically had tears dripping down her cheeks at the thought of having to face off against her beloved.

“It will only be for a little bit, Juvia,” Gray wrapped an arm around her, giving his girlfriend a side hug.

“Any time away from my Gray is too long for Juvia!” she protested.

“How about we get some smoothies after school?” her boyfriend asked, hoping to appease her. At the thought of spending time outside of school with him, Juvia calmed down.

“Ready to get yer ass whooped icicle pants?” Natsu interrupted the couple, a wild gleam in his eyes at the thought of beating his rival.

“As if that would ever happen flame brain!” The raven haired boy shot back.

“Droopy eyes!”

“Lava breath!”

“Ice Princess!”

“Fire Hazard!”

“That is enough!” Erza boomed, having grown tired of their constant bickering. To break them up she smashed her fists a top of each of their skulls, leave the boys to whimper as they nursed their newly formed bruises.

“S-sorry, Erza!” Natsu and Gray both squawked in fear of angering her further. Pleased with how they listened to her, Erza smiled, cracking her knuckles with a satisfying crunch.

“Now then, may the better team win,” her brown eyes flashed dangerously. “But I do not plan on losing. Even though she constantly scolded the guys for fighting, a challenge excited her just as much.

Everyone took their places, Lucy sticking to defense with Levy while the more competitive players, Gajeel, Gray, and Elfman, all took on the role of offense. “Is gym over yet?” Levy’s whines were covered by Mr. Dreyer’s whistle to start the game.

“This isn’t so bad,” Lucy thought, watching as mainly the offensive players fought one another for possession of the ball. Sadly her luck ran out as Erza broke free with the ball, hauling ass towards the goal. Afraid of being trampled, Lucy jumped out of the way as Erza took a shot at the goal. Poor Mira caught the ball against her stomach, grunting from the powerful blow but gave no other sign of discomfort.

This continued on for a while. Erza was able to score three goals on their team and Natsu two. On the other hand, Gray and Gajeel scored two each leaving the score at five to four. With the score so close, everyone seemed to become even more riled up. Natsu barged towards her to shoot for another goal, moving to pass Lucy. On complete instinct, she shrieked, “Lucy kick!” and sent the ball flying to the other half of the field, allowing Elfman to score and tying the game. Natsu stood there, mouth gaping open like a fish, staring at Lucy in shock. He had totally expected her to jump out of the way like she normally did, not assist in scoring a goal with a powerful kick. Instead of getting annoyed that he didn’t score another goal, Natsu patted her shoulder.

“Good one Luce! Just know I’m not going easy on ya next time,” he laughed, running back to his side of the field.

“Great…” Lucy sighed dryly, using the back of her hand to wipe away some sweat that had formed on her forehead.

True to his promise, the next time Natsu came down the field with the ball, he made no effort to slow down. Her last kick boosted her confidence so Lucy instead of jumping away, stood her ground. When he came close she stuck out her foot to try and steal the ball except Natsu was ready this time. His leg shot out as he kept the ball in his possession except on accident he hooked her leg along with the ball. Lucy fell face first into the dirt with a loud thump, her face contorting in pain as her ankle throbbed in pain. It felt like a fire was burning her from the inside. Seeing that she wasn’t getting up, Mr. Dreyer blew the whistle and jogged over, bringing the game to a pause.

“Lu, are you ok?” Levy who was the closest got to her first, helping her sit up.

Lucy shook her head, tears brimming in her eyes from the pain. “M-my ankle,” she managed to get out, clutching her leg close to her body.

“Lucy, what’s wrong?” Natsu slid over on the ground to her, his usual playful expression turned worried and serious.

“Her ankle hurts,” Levy explained, keeping a soothing hand on her friend’s back. Natsu’s eyes widened, realizing that he was the reason she was hurt. “I’m so sorry, Luce. It was an accident I didn’t mean-”

“I know it was,” Lucy interrupted him as Mr. Dreyer made it over. He bent down, examining her ankle. When his fingers grazed the sensitive area the girl hissed in pain. “It’s at least sprained, maybe even broken,” the teacher frowned, his bushy eyebrows pulling together. “Natsu, get her to the nurse right away.”

“Got it,” the pink haired boy slipped his arms underneath Lucy and carefully picked her up. The movement sent fresh waves of pain up her leg and Lucy was surprised she didn’t pass out from the pain. She rested her head against Natsu’s shoulder, praying that it was only a sprain. “Don’t worry I gotcha Luce,” he murmured down to her. He began to carry her back inside the school. Lucy noticed that he was being careful to not jostle her with each step, which was greatly appreciated. Her thoughts were cloudy, the pain taking over. All she wanted to do was sleep so that she wouldn’t have to feel anything. Natsu kept talking to her the entire way but Lucy barely paid attention, only giving him occasional grunts or head bobs so he knew she hadn’t passed out.

At their arrival to the nurse’s office, an old woman with pink hair a shade lighter than Natsu’s had him set Lucy on one of the cots. The nurse, Porlyusucia examined the girl’s ankle more thoroughly that Mr. Dreyer had and with a straight face told them, “That ankle is definitely broken. You’ll be lucky if you only have to wear a cast for a month.”

“W-what?” Lucy gasped, shocked by how blunt the woman was and at the fact that she was going to need a cast. At this rate her parents will never let her return to a public school ever again.

“Are you deaf as well girl?” Porlyusucia snapped, getting a soft whimper from Lucy. “Hmph,” the old woman sighed, retrieving an ice pack from the freezer in the room and setting it on Lucy’s injury. The cold seeped into her skin, almost numbing the pain much to her relief. “This is all I can do here. The paramedics are on their way to bring you to the hospital. I’ll inform your parents and they will most likely meet you at the hospital.”

“I have to ride in the ambulance alone?” Lucy’s lip quivered, not liking the idea. Porlyusucia opened her mouth to answer but Natsu cut her off.

“No, you won’t. I’ll ride in the ambulance with you. I won’t leave you,” he promised.

Lucy’s heart fluttered at his words, a smile forming on her lips. “Thank you so much Natsu.”

“Don’t thank me,” he looked away, a look of sorrow on his face that confused Lucy. “It’s my fault you’re here anyways.”

“No, it’s not,” Lucy argued. She may be injured but that didn’t mean she didn’t have the energy to scold her best friend. “It was an accident. I tripped and I fell the wrong way.”

“But I was the one who tripped you,” he reminded her which earned him a glare.

“You weren’t trying to trip me,” she pointed out. “Now stop feeling bad ok? You are not to blame for this.” She could tell Natsu wanted to argue back but he pressed his lips into a thin line. Smart move on his part.

During the wait for the ambulance to arrive, Natsu was cracking jokes to cheer her up which seemed to be working. Currently he was telling her about his chemistry class yesterday and how he accidently set his test tubes on fire.“Only you Natsu Dragneel!” Lucy laughed, shaking her head at him. “How did it even catch on fire you were using water?”

Natsu threw his arms up in the air, looking just as confused. “I have no idea!” he exclaimed. “I was mixing ingredients and I turned to grab another test tube. When I turned back around it was on fire!”

Lucy only laughed harder hearing that. Natsu continued telling her about his day up until three paramedics came into the room with a stretcher. Seeing that, the blonde couldn’t help but make a face. It wasn’t as if she was dying! Noticing her apprehension, Natsu took it upon himself to lift her back up in his muscular arms. “There’s no need for that. I’ll carry her out.”

“Sir, there’s really no need for-”

“She wants me to carry her,” he glared at the three men who grew uneasy. Reluctantly they agreed to his wishes and lead the pair out to the car. Natsu made sure he was careful with the pretty blonde when he set her in the ambulance. He made sure she was comfortable before taking a seat beside her and holding onto her hand.

“Natsu?” Lucy called as the vehicle began to move. “What about your motion sickness?”

“I’ll be fine,” Natsu forced out, a smile plastered on his face. A few beads of sweat ran down his forehead but he would endure it for her.

“Are you sure?” Lucy raised a blonde eyebrow at him.

Natsu let out an uneasy chuckle. “I think I’m the one supposed to be worrying about you. Not the other way around.”

“It distracts me from the pain,” Lucy shrugged her shoulders. The paramedics had stuck an IV in her arm to give her some painkillers so her ankle didn’t hurt as much.

“Then I guess I’ll just have to keep talking,” Natsu smiled weakly, doing just that.

“AAAGHHH!” Natsu groaned in frustration, pulling at his pink hair as he paced around the waiting room. The moment they had arrived at the hospital, Lucy was whisked away from him and he was forced away since he wasn’t ‘family’. Friends were basically family so why couldn’t he stay with her? “I can’t wait any longer!” he growled, glaring at anyone who looked at him strangely due to his odd behavior. At least Lucy wasn’t alone. Her parents were already waiting at the hospital when they arrived so they were with her while she was being treated.

“This fucking sucks,” he grumbled a little too loudly, a mother with her two children sending a glare his way which he ignored but he did try and keep a tap on his language. When he saw Lucy’s doctor come talk to another patient, he jogged over. “How’s Lucy?!” he practically yelled, scaring the poor doctor.

“She’s getting an X-Ray done now so it’s still going to be a while.” Finally at least he got some answers. Who ever said intimidation was a bad thing? Mumbling a quick thank you, Natsu decided to check out the cafeteria. Hopefully some food would distract him from his worried thought for a moment.

The pink haired man stepped into line, his eyes sweeping over the menu. He heard hospital food wasn’t the best but he didn’t care about that right now. When he arrived at the front of the line he realized he hadn’t picked out his order so he picked the first thing on the menu, a hamburger and fries. He handed over a wad of cash to the worker and waited at the counter for his food to finish cooking. His thoughts drifted back to Lucy again. He was so lost in thought they had to call his name a few times so that he would grab his tray of food.

Natsu tried to find he most private table he could so that he could eat in piece. Claiming a table by the window, he dug into his food. “Not as good as Lucy’s mom’s,” he thought bitterly. That reminded him that he was supposed to have dinner at Lucy’s house that night. With everything that happened he figured that was out the window. He sighed, barely tasting the food he was shoveling in his mouth. When he finished he set his tray where he saw other people putting them before returning to the waiting room to well, wait.

“At least it’s appropriately named,” the boy let out another long moan as he flopped into an open chair. He was sick of waiting. All he wanted was to be by Lucy’s side and to hold her hand. He decided that the moment he saw her he was going to give her the biggest hug ever!

“Mama! Mama!” a little boy yipped, tugging on his mother’s arms. Natsu glanced over at the two, watching them interact. “Can we go to the gift shop? I wanna teddy bear!”

The boy’s mother laughed quietly and smoothed the boy’s hair back lovingly. “If you are a good boy the rest of the time we wait I’ll buy you one,” she promised. Her son erupted into cheers which made the gears in Natsu’s head start turning.

“Natsu!” a familiar voice called out to him, jarring him awake. He must have dozed have in the waiting room. His vision cleared and his thoughts began to return when his eyes locked on Lucy being pushed in a wheelchair towards him by her father.

“Luce!” Natsu scrambled to his feet, almost falling out of his chair in his rush to her. The blonde giggled as he frantically ran over to her. “How are you feeling?”

“Much better,” Lucy smiled at him. His gaze traveled to her leg which was covered in bright pink plaster. “Of course she would pick pink. It’s her favorite color,” he thought fondly.

“I’m glad to hear that,” he leaned down to give her a squeeze that she returned. When they embraced for too long, Jude cleared his throat so Natsu pulled away slowly. He didn’t want to anger her father more. “Oh! I have something for ya!” he suddenly remembered, hurrying back to his chair where a gift bag lay. “This is for you!” he thrusted the present in front of her face.

Lucy blinked, taking the bag in her hands. “What’s this?” she asked, looking up at him.

“A ‘Get Well’ present,” Natsu blushed a little, turning his head away. “J-just a little something I gotcha.”

Lucy smiled, noticing his blush. “Thank you,” she pulled away the tissue paper, reaching for the gift inside. Her hand clamped around something soft and when she pulled out her gift she gasped. “Oh Natsu…” she breathed, admiring the little blue cat stuffed animal that had white wings attached to his back. “It’s so cute! I love it!”

Natsu watched her squish the stuffed animal to her chest, warmth spreading through his body at the sight. She was absolutely adorable. “I’m glad you like it,” he grinned at her. Before anything could go farther, Layla interrupted the two.

“Natsu, are you still coming over for dinner?” Lucy’s mother asked kindly.

Natsu’s jaw dropped. “You mean I’m still invited?!”

“Of course you are,” Layla laughed along with her daughter who joined in.

“Then count me in!” Natsu grinned so wide his cheeks hurt.

Even though the day began horrible they were still able to come together in the end for a wonderful meal thanks to Layla. Over dinner Lucy kept teasing Natsu about him being the reason she was hurt which made him all flustered and guilty. When she went too far, Natsu pouted, staring down at his plate.

“I’m only kidding Natsu,” Lucy chided reaching her hand under the table to squeeze his hand. When he didn’t respond to that she leaned over and kissed his cheek when her parents weren’t watching. “Thank you for everything you’ve done today.”

“Lucy…” he breathed, his breath catching in his throat from her affection. She looked so beautiful in that moment even though she had dark circles under her eyes from being over tired and her hair was in a messy bun. Acting on impulse, he leaned over and captured her lips, compelling a gasp from her. Quickly she relaxed against him, kissing him back, both oblivious to her parents watching them. The kiss was kept short and sweet, nothing crazy or overly passionate.

“I really like ya Luce,” Natsu tucked her bangs behind her ear.

“I really like you too, Natsu,” Lucy smiled as Laya watched on with a pleased expression. She always knew this day would come but it certainly took long enough. Unfortunately, the mood was ruined by Jude clearing his throat loudly. Natsu sprang away from Lucy, his palms sweaty as he shoved food in his mouth. Lucy had a blush covering her face but was still smiling. Maybe it seemed, gym class wasn’t so bad after all.

We Are Family. [Fairy Tail FanFic]

Chp.2: Meet the guild.

Most of the guild was gathered around you, concern painted on their faces. You sat on a bench with an ice pack on your head. Shifty eyes went back and forth to each and every one of them them as you sat there with a grimaced frown, debating if you should say something or just blast them all into the next life.

Lira sat on the table in front of you as she looked up with concerned brown eyes. She kept quiet though because she knew you were in a rather foul mood, which was understandable, I mean really...you had a fully grown man thrown at you like a sack of potatoes. I mean what can anyone say to that really?

"Here you go." A soft, and gentle voice spoke as a beautiful, white haired woman placed an X bandage over the bumps on your forehead and back of your head. It was Mira. Mirajane Strauss, an S class fairy tail wizard also known as the shedevil. Which was a rather strange nickname seeing as she was nothing like a devil of the sort. She had kind eyes and a friendly smile and her voice that could sooth and calm even the devil himself.

Almost immediately your anger subsided just by her voice alone. "Thank you." you managed to say as you pulled the ice pack away from your head. "How are you feeling?" Another heavenly voice spoke. You looked up and noticed the blonde haired woman looking down at you with sincere worry in her big brown eyes. It was Lucy Heartfilia. The Celestial mage who helped save Fiore from the impending dragon attack not too long ago. Of course, she did have a part in starting it to begin with but...

"My head still hurts a bit, but not like before." You managed a smile. She sighed in relief. "Thank goodness, I was so worried there for a second, when I saw Gray crash into you like that I expected the worst!" She exclaimed as she pointed towards Gray with her thumb. Gray was standing not to far back behind the crowd, shirtless and arms crossed as he leaned on a pillar, a small scowl on his face as he just huffed at Lucy's response.

That sparked an immediate response from Lucy as she began to yell loudly at him. "Hey! At least show a little sympathy for the poor girl! You almost killed her for crying out loud!" "Hey don't blame me for her not being quick enough to dodge." "Really Gray?! How can you be so rude, clearly she had no idea just what goes on around here on a daily basis so how do you expect her to react quickly?! AND WHERE ARE YOUR CLOTHES?!" Grey clicked his tongue but immediately panicked and looked down letting out a small gasp when he saw he was bare again.

You sweatdropped.

She sighed once more. "Honestly, just what are we going to do with you." She shook her head disapprovingly as she massaged her temple.

Gray reacted the only way possible by pointing at the pink haired fire eater who was just giggling away. "Don't get mad at me! If anything it's HIS fault! He's the one who started it!" Natsu snapped back with a simple "What'd you say?!" "You heard me lava for brains!" The little tick forming on his forehead and they were face on face. "You wanna fight then fine let's duke it out right now!! But don't go crying when I beat you ice princess!" "Bring it on cinder brain!"

"Quit it guys! Your interrupting my drinking time!" A voice from the bar spoke. The woman in question was sitting at the bar downing a full barrel of alcohol and your eyes nearly popped put of your head at the sight alone.

"Cana, when isn't it drinking time for you?" The older blue haired gentleman spoke. It was Macao Conbolt, former master of this guild. The girl was Cana Alberona, the girl who can use the Fairy glitter spell, one of Fairy Tail's strongest spells, and obviously this guild's heaviest drinker.

That's right, you knew exactly who each and every member of this guild was, you did your homework and studied them for quite some time now. And you needed to for a reason. You averted your eyes towards the rumbling duo on your left while Lucy tried to break them up, obviously now doing a very good job.

Gray Fullbuster, the Ice wizard who once faught the demon Deliora. Powerful, but quite the nudist. "Oh Gray my love, you look so dashing even in the midst of a fight!" She spoke with hearts in her eyes. She was wiggling like a worm just pulled out from the dirt. Juvia Lockser, the water mage who was once with Phantom Lord's element 4, turned good. It's obvious why this bimbo changed sides judging by her reaction toward the streaking Ice prince.

You quickly dismissed them as Gray tried to pry her off him as she latched onto him in the middle of the squabble. Your eyes gazed towards the pink haired mess standing with his arms crossed next to Lucy with a childish pout on his face. Natsu. Dragneel.

You knew that name all too well. There wasn't anywhere you could go without his name coming up wether it be about the magic games or how he nearly took out a village. Yes he was famous, but to you, his name meant something more. "Natsu..." You whispered to yourself.

"Hmm?" He looked up at you questioningly and it was then you remembered about his dragon slayer magic. He could hear a mouse take a piss from across the street in the middle of a rush, of course he'd hear you whisper his name. A small tint of pink powdered your face and you immediately looked down and put the ice pack on your head to try and distract this whole situation.

Before anything could be said Grey's voice broke the awkwardness when he yelled at Juvia to back off. As he did he pryed her off but stumbled backwards and crashed into Natsu, causing another dispute against them. You mentally sighed in relief and thanked the wizard God's for intervening in the knick of time.

Before the fight could ensue even more a loud, deep, womanly voice thundered throughout the guild. "Enough!" This alone sent both men to their side of the corners in a frightened state. Hell, it made the whole guild minus a few tremble in fear. The red haired vixen clad in armor stomped up and gave a menacing glare. Even you and Lira had to admit that even y'all were a bit shaken.

"Can't you see that you've caused enough problems for today?! Your reckless actions nearly cost this poor young woman dearly and all you can do is continue fighting?!" Her voice was dark and threatening. "That's enough out of you two." "Yes ma'am!" They yelped in unison.

Erza Scarlet. Also known as Titania Erza, queen of the faries. Her requip was so fast and so rare and her collection of armours was so vast. Her presence alone was intimidating. It's no wonder she's the strongest female of the guild. You felt those butterflies in your belly start acting up again. She was indeed an amazing woman and seeing her in person was just so...cool. Her menacing stare then turned towards you.

Nevermind.

You heart sank to your ass as she began to approach you.

What did you do to piss her off? Was she going to scold you too? Was it illegal to come into the guild if you weren't a member? Just what was gonna happen?! As she approached her stare softened alot and a smile appeared on her face. "Please forgive the craziness in here. I am truly sorry you had to go through that ordeal earlier. It's quite an embarrassment and very shameful on our part."

You relaxed your shoulders and smiled waving franticly. "Oh no, it's okay really, it was my fault, I should have announced myself before just barging in!" "Don't be silly, you needn't announce yourself before entering. Are you feeling alright?"

"Huh? Oh yes. I'm much better thank you. It takes a lot more than that to bring me down, honestly." you chuckled nervously. Erza chuckled in return. "I can see that, what's your name?" "Oh that's right!" You stood up and bowed. "Forgive me, my name is Seradith, it's a pleasure to meet you all even under these certain circumstances." You smiled. "Pleasure to meet you Seradith. My names Erza."

"Oh I know!" You immediately mentally berated yourself at how desperate and creepy that sounded. "I mean...what I meant to say is I've heard a great deal of this guild and read a lot about you all on Sorcerer Weekly. I'm...that is we..." You look Lira. "Are bit of a fan." You blushed ever so slightly and looked down.

"Wow to think we've gotten this big and have such a strong fan base, it's so amazing!" Lucy sighed dreamily as she clenched her flushed cheeks. "Pretty soon, I'll have adoring fans rushing to me asking for my autograph, and men just throwing themselves at my feet wanting a chance to be with a star such as myself!" "You need to wake up from your dreaming Lucy." Natsu replied monotonously with an unimpressed look on his face.

"Can it jerk!" she snapped back. "So what brings you to Fairy Tail Seradith?" The small blue haired child asked curiously. Wendy Marvell. The sky maiden. A small, petite little girl with the power of a sky dragon slayer, clearly looks can fool you. She was amazing, you heard the stories and you see her right in front of you oozing with such power, it was exciting. But the question asked made you a bit uneasy as you sat back down, both you and Lira looking down shyly.

"Well you see..." You began. It was a few moments of silence that made everyone sort of on edge and curious as to what y'all were about to say. "It's just that, we are really big fans of Fairy Tail...and we came here in hopes of meeting you all..." Lira proceeded. "And maybe meet our idol's." She fiddled with her paws.

"Aww how cute, that's the sweetest thing! Of course you can meet us, we won't turn you down cutie!" Lucy exclaimed as she cuddled her tightly causing Lira to blush and giggle. Pretty soon the whole guild was riled up about their new fans coming for a visit and it wasn't long before you were introduced to the members currently in the guild and things went back to the normal fairy tail way.
