I had an absolutely wild week, including my Avec taking a swim in tea that I spilled all over it.
And I decided to try my hand at a voiceover.
The results from the poll I did were mixed. About the same number of people on Instagram and tumblr answered but the numbers were about equal for liking voiceovers vs wanting just background music.

Throwback to June. Steam Next Fest - I played the demo of Flintlock: Siege of Dawn and had to pause to sketch the fox god companion and the big footed turkey who is the draft animal in this world.

☁️ I may have, sort of, kindaaa... accidentally overbooked myself for the shortest month of the year lol ☁️
My planner is getting a hell of a workout though 💪 and I think this new project calendar I added and am trying out [insert 103 from PPCo] seems quite promising so far 🤔 At the very least it's helped take a load off of my mind by getting everything in my head out and onto a visual monthly spread~
I have a step-by-step breakdown of what each project needs as well as a habit tracker to see which projects I tackle on what days and how often. And most helpful of all is that on one monthly foldout list I have external deadlines that I need to meet and on the other is smaller milestones/deadlines I would like to meet in order to help me stay on track for those external deadlines...
I'm hoping this new addition to my planner is exactly what I need in order to get me through this month in one piece lol ✨

There is definitely no such thing as too many planners right? I use my Filofax as a messy catch all planner; my Hobonichi Weeks for to do lists and shop records; and my journal is a mix of to do lists, quote of the day, word of the day, and journaling. (Stickers from the journal page are available in my shop.)
✨ Everything in my Etsy shop is 25% off and my Shopify is 35% off until the end of this month. Links in the bio.
🖋 @zebrapen_usa Sarasa Clip pen (in my Hobo Weeks)
@pilotpenusa Kakuno fountain pen with EF nib (in my journal)

I like my commonplace spreads sometimes. This is the 4th page of me talking about cars, for someone that doesn’t drive I had a lot to dish out 😂

I know this is fully a first world problem but for any Filofax people out there, are you guys also not buying your inserts from Filofax this year because of those hideous QR codes??
I use a week on 2 page spread and my space is already so limited, but now they put this godawful QR code on Every. Single. Day.
The reason I use a paper planner is because I don’t have apps or a device that is even smart. I don’t digital plan. And if I did it wouldn’t be with the Filofax app???
I’m just annoyed. They also got rid of the eco inserts I love for 2025.
I *AM* however, overjoyed to be hunting down independently crafted 2025 inserts so if y’all have good recommendations for those I’d be delighted.
Thank you my fellow people for hearing my rant :’(

apologies if already posted but could you kindly detail your physical diary system for time management? I believe you have both a physical agenda with inserts and digital calendar.
I’ve written a little bit here already, but I’ll elaborate. I have an old Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami PM agenda in the ‘Cerises’ print; I bought it on a trip to Osaka a couple of years ago, and it’s in perfect condition for something nearly 20 years old. The LV agendas use inserts, and so their content and layout are completely customisable. I use mine much like a Filofax, and have actually bought a few old Filofax inserts and customised them to fit, as well as using some of the official branded refills, inserts sold on Etsy, and some homemade additions. There’s a lot in there, but it’s a system that works with my brain, because I use this agenda to organise my studies and personal life (I use a separate diary for work), and I need something that keeps everything in one place. When it comes to everyday time management, though, my system is really simple: I have a two-page spread dedicated to each day, with one side devoted to an hourly agenda and the other reserved for notes. I write in appointments as soon as they’re made, and then spend a little time first thing in the morning planning out my day hour by hour. The notes page for that day often contains a running to-do list, phone numbers and other contact details, thoughts and ideas that have occurred to me, and anything else that I’ve picked up throughout the day. At the end of each day, I spend ten minutes putting those contacts into my phone and address book (at the back of my agenda), filing away any thoughts and ideas in their proper places, and transferring any outstanding to-dos to the next day’s list. It’s not at all a complicated method, but it keeps me on track and helps me to make the best of my time.
If it’s helpful, there’s also an example of a day in my Google Calendar shown here.

I’ve tried to film a video about four times today and am struggling to find my voice and confidence with it. Over on Instagram, I polled my followers and they seemed to prefer voice overs, but the tumblr crowd prefers BGM and subtitles, so I’m a bit of a loss. And the camera/audio shyness isn’t helping.
But I wanted to share my week spread regardless. I’m finding it cozy and comforting to log the quotes along with a few thoughts.

Why does Filofax now put QR Codes under each day on their weekly spreads??

12.20.2024 — hello, everyone! i’ve been busy for the past few days because of work but i wanted to do a quick drop-by here before succumbing myself to work again at our clinic 🥹
so here goes my essentials since college until now. a good and strong backpack, a tumbler, and my planner. as you can tell, beige/brown is my fave color, so that is why my stuff usually in that color. also, i have this book titled ‘wreck this journal’ by keri smith for almost 3 years now. and i just started really delving to it lately. as a person who likes everything in place, organized, and neat, it is oddly comforting to me to really do destructive acts to this book. 😅
how about you all? what are your school/work essentials? is there a book you are currently reading?
i hope you all are doing good today. have a great day, everyone! 👋🏻

My Filofax Malden is almost 10 years old, and I’ve been neglectful.
It’s a shame I filled it up once, like a regular notebook, and decided the loose leaf format isn’t for me. It felt impermanent…the paper wasn’t right…Since then it’s mostly been sitting in a drawer.
But recently I decided to start an experiment in this format, and see if I still feel the same in 2024.
Tumblr media
A few things that attract me about the binder-style:
1. Lay flat (important!)
2. Able to have loose leaf paper everywhere in my home. Right now I’m using pieces of paper as bookmarks in a few books
3. Zero pressure to “ruin” a page. Not that I throw out any, as they are part of the process.
4. Experiment with the form. I like the possibility of different shapes of paper all hole-punched to hold in one place.
5. Ease of categorizing as a commonplace book.

Thoughts and advice on the Filofax? How do you use a loose-leaf notebook?

Hi Comet!
A sweet headcanon for you <3
Cirrus and Cumulus introduced Aether to bullet journals, and now they have regular journaling dates where they plan and decorate their journals. There are boxes in the common area full of washi tapes and stickers, and there's even a box in Copia's office. The other ghouls and ghoulettes tried bullet journaling, but gave up because it was just too much work to make a weekly spread ever single week. Copia is too busy as well, so he just decorates his paper calendar, that he keeps in a fancy leather filofax, with lots of stickers.
-Ghoulete Anon
Oh my god love this!
Cumulus, Cirrus, and Aether stirring at a table with rulers and tons of colored pens, and stickers and tape spread out around them. Heads down. Working so hard. Talking about page ideas. Showing each other their weekly spreads.
They go to Copia if they run out of something because he definitely has it and is happy to share ideas if they get stuck. He really wishes he had time to make his own.
I bet Cumulus, Cirrus, and Aether make him one as a gift at some point. Fully laid out for a year so he doesn't have to worry about doing layouts. It's one of his favorite gifts he's ever gotten.

I am currently using a Filofax (personal) system with grid paper and make my spreads almost like a bullet journal. I love how easy I can move around pages and sort them into categories (I do all my journaling, planning, and comonplacing in it) and how much I can fit in the binder that is not just my writing.
I have done bullet journaling for years before this, and I sort of miss the feeling of a book instead of the binder.
I have a hard time finding good papers for my binder, and I miss how I could arcive a full book after 6 months or a year. Idk it feels like I am just missing the feeling of the book, but it is a bit too big, but at the same time not :/
