The Bad Kids ranked from Highest stat total to Lowest
Fabian Average 15.8 Total 95 (Lowest stat 12)
Adaine Average 15.2 Total 91 (Lowest stat 13)
Gorgug Average 14.2 Total 85 (Lowest stat 10)
Fig Average 13.8 Total 83 (lowest stat 11)
Kristen Average 13.8 Total 83 (Lowest stat 4)
Riz Average 13.7 Total 82 (Lowest stat 6)
Fabian has a 20 in both Dex and Cha meaning both of his Battle Master and Bard saving throws are maxed and equal to any other caster in the party
With Adaine's lowest stat being a 13 that technically means she can multiclass into any class without DM allowance (Multiclassing rule you need a 13 minimum or DM okays it)
Gorgug actually had to drop 2 points in str to boost his int meaning that his to hit bonus actually never improves in Junior Year it just regains the missing +1
Fig while having no negative modifiers in any of her stats makes it seem that she is low on the list none of her stats are above 15 except for Cha
Kristen has amazing stats with everything being at least a +2 modifier if not a +3 it's just that the 4 Dex (-3 modifier) drags her stats down because on average she has well above average stats
Riz has good dex/int it's just that his str is a 6 which was a great decision by Brian Murphy because Riz having the lowest stats of the Bad Kids wasn't even noticeable

75 MORE essential single-character verbs (单字动词)

It was really difficult to put together the first list. I had a spreadsheet of literally hundreds of characters that I had to whittle down. So I was happy to give some of the eliminated characters a second chance.

—
This coat, made in pearl gray cloth, is trimmed with velvet on the strawberry shade and with gold buttons, the very simple way allows it to be made in fur; if you want it more practical, you can make it in dark cloth with fur trim.
The fronts and back are cut in one piece, with the sleeves; we garnish the back and the sleeves with quilted cloth bias decorated with gold buttons.
We cut the overcoat with padded white satin lining according to figs. 80 to 83 of the board; we hide the seams in fig. 80 under biases connected in between by smaller biases. The back (fig. 82) is fitted to the overcoat using stitching at the upper edge and ordinary seams; at the bottom, it is ironed along the lines; we stitch along the outer folds a strip of sheet 5 centimeters wide, ending in the shape of legs.
The sides and underside of the sleeves have risen by bringing together similar figures; when the shoulder seam is executed, the front band is fixed, fitted with staples; we establish it in silk lining and stiff canvas according to fig. 77 and it is covered with a strip of velvet framed with a sheet of cloth. Finally, we place the previously assembled lining.

82-year-old veteran sex kitten Ann-Margret dropped Born to Be Wild, her first new album in over a decade, last month (her previous one - God is Love: The Gospel Sessions 2 – came out in 2011). My notes!
This is being referred to as Ann-Margret’s “first classic-rock album”, but her early sixties recordings brim with delights like the girl group-style “I Just Don’t Understand”, her sultry cover of Elvis’ “Heartbreak Hotel” and her interpretations of R&B songs like “Roll with Me, Henry” and “Jim Dandy”. Ann-Margret has always rocked!
On the wailing title track (a cover of the 1968 Steppenwolf song), A-M is backed by The Fuzztones – and it’s genuinely ferocious! (This isn’t her first foray into garage punk: “It’s a Nice World to Visit (But Not to Live In)” - her 1969 collaboration with Lee Hazlewood - still slaps hard).
The musical backing is grittier, brasher and more rockabilly than you might expect. (On “Volare” A-M is accompanied by Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom of The Stray Cats). “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” belongs on every festive Spotify playlist! Her efforts at doo wop (“Earth Angel” and “Why Do Fools Fall in Love?”) and “Son of a Preacher Man” are credible. (The latter won’t make you forget Dusty, but it compares favorably with Bobbie Gentry and Nancy Sinatra’s versions).
Best of all: “Somebody's in My Orchard” is slinky cocktail jazz loungecore with “blue” lyrics (“Somebody digs my fig trees / Someone loves their juice / That someone with that sweet juice / Ain't nothing but bad news ….”).
Less happily: duets with Pat Boone and Cliff Richard represent bad kitsch rather than fun kitsch. There’s frequently a whiff of Branson, Missouri and karaoke. Can’t help but wish A-M would find hipper collaborators and material. Not a fan of his but consider how Jack White produced late-period Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson albums. Not that A-M ever worried about “credibility” – her priority is to entertain. Finally: with the recent deaths of her contemporaries like Stella Stevens and Raquel Welch, the time to appreciate Ann-Margret is NOW! Next, we need comeback albums from Joey Heatherton and Connie Stevens!

Artist's Sketch of a Sparrow. Depicts a delicate sparrow perched on a slender branch.
The artist has captured the bird's essence with swift, flowing lines, showcasing its small, rounded body and distinctive beak.
The sparrow's feathers are suggested through light, feathery strokes, giving the impression of softness and movement in the breeze.
Its wings are subtly hinted at, slightly folded against its body, conveying a sense of calm and tranquility.
The eye, though simple in its design, exudes a sense of curiosity and liveliness, adding a spark to the otherwise understated sketch.
Overall, the artist has captured the essence of this small bird, portraying its beauty and grace through minimalist yet expressive lines.
Museum excavations, 1922-1923. Acquired in the division of finds, 1923.

There is still an 18% chance that a species not be low to the ground and still have slit pupils (there’s only an 82% correlation between low build and that eye shape).
It just has to be an ambush predator, active both day and night, and mainly engage its prey from up close—like in a forest, rather than across a savannah. The Pantherinae split from the Felinae in Central Asia about 6.4 million years ago; Central Asia is mostly steppe. (Cheetahs have oval pupils, incidentally.)
In fact they just have to have evolved from ambush predators, because binturongs mostly eat figs, spend almost all their time nowhere near the ground, and still have slit pupils. Same goes for most arboreal viverrids.
Also, hyenas have slit pupils despite predominantly living in open terrain, being scavengers or cursorial predators, and only smaller aardwolves having shoulder heights below 42 centimeters, but it’s really hard to tell because their eyes are so dark. I don’t know why they still have them.

“我得让你知道,信得过就是信得过,它不叫投降。” I will have to let you know; trustworthy, reliable, I mean exactly what these words entail. That cannot be called a surrender.
And I simply have to share this marvellous piece of art (by 畸零土狗) with everyone, even though no one probably has ever heard of this series.
And a simple translation of the lyrics of the song, which is called “驾鹤西去”, lit. "flying on a crane to the western paradise", which fig. stands for "passing away":
三魂灭 extinguishing the three souls 时间到,你就喝了,走吧,走吧 the time has come, just drink it and go your way 过了桥,一切从头来呀,来呀 cross the bridge, and start everything over again 没关系,此生不怪你啊,你啊 it's alright, i won't blame you in this life 重返人间,你且一定想啊,想啊 returning to the human world, i'm sure you'd like to
According to traditional Chinese beliefs, each human possesses three finer spirits and seven baser instincts (or "three souls and seven senses", 三魂七魄). The "heavenly spirit" represents a person's emotions, the "earthly spirit" stands for a person's consciousness, while the "human spirit" represents a person's life force. [1][2]
Grandmother Meng, or "Meng Po" (孟婆), is an important figure in Chinese mythology. She awaits the souls of the dead in the "Diyu" (地狱), the Chinese underworld, and serves them her soup of oblivion, which wipes every single memory of the person (or spirit) drinking it. [3]
The "Naihe Bridge" (or "Bridge of Oblivion" or "Bridge of Helplessness", 奈何桥) in Chinese mythology must be crossed in order to be able to enter reincarnation. The crossing of the bridge functions as a trial as well, depending on the individual's virtue, the journey may be arduous for some and effortless for others. [4]

1. 3 things that shaped me - Probably my parents, my girlfriend, maybe my interests?
2. Inside jokes with friends - Frutiger ____, ____ Aero, repeating funny soundimg phrases someone of us said,
3. What made you start your blog - I mostly just wanted to read stuff and tumblr and maybe post some language stuff
4. A story from childhood - I decided to learn Bulgarian by myself when I was like 9 or 10 years old and wrote down the words I found on the internet. I was so amazed how easy it seemed (because my semi-native language is similar to Bulgarian). And I also used to create books avour animals and write so much about them (I wish I still were so obsessed with language learning)
5. Are you an emotional person - yes, very much so. The tiniest things can change my mood
6. Things you wanted to do but are scared to do - I don't think there are such things? It's rather that I don't have the opportunity, time or motivation for doing it. But I'm not really scared of doing things
7. What would you call home Maybe I take it too literally, but I think about the home I'm officially registered in. I feel more welcome at my girlfriends place but I wouldn't call it really home because I don't officially live there
8. Favorite color - orange, yellow, bright green, looks so tasty and bright
9. Do you collect anything - Maybe piercings, ohh and I used to"collect* words (that is writing long lists with words from other languages)
10. What do you do when you are sad - Stay in a dark room, depending on why I'm sad I stay with people or try to not be alone or I isolate myself from everyone (only if I'm sad because of someone), sexual stuff (free dopamine), sometimes listening to music, sometimes hitting myself
11. What never fails to make you happy - There is no such thing, no thing can make me happy all the time and it heavily depends on my mood and headspace
12. Do you trust easily - Maybe? I mostly just tell people things about me because I don't care (especially if it's people online), but I'm not sure if it's considered trust?
13. How many open tabs - 12
14. Favorite song at the moment - dj nevykele - zdrw dar kartą
15. Do you forgive betrayal - I'm not sure if I ever experienced that. Maybe one time with an old friend, but I don't care anymore, I just wonder why they did that. But I don't really "forgive" that, I'm just really confused and I don't know what forgiving feels like (again, maybe I take the question to literally)
16. Have someone wrote a poem/song for you - never /pos
17. Have you been cheated on - what does count? I used to be in a ""relationship"" with someone when I was 15 or so and this person had another friend and sometimes there where situations where I felt replaced (maybe it was intentional), but at the other hand I thought it would be cute if they would cuddle or do other things, so maybe I wouldn't care if the relationship was healthy to begin with. But yeah, not sure if it counts.
18. Have you considered plastic surgery - does top surgery counts? If so, then yeah (and also done it). Also, I once considered to maybe shape my ears into elf ears
19. Someone you wanted but could never have - there were people on some discord server and they seemed like they are like me and I wanted to have contact with them so badly :// There was also a person on discord, we used to chat and he seemed like me (also had ocd and we used to talk about that because finally someone understood it), but then the contact just faded. We had the plan to make a phone call in the future but it was always postponed and I just had the feeling that he didn't like me anymore (probably not true), but I think I was a little bit obsessed with this person. I used to read every message he wrote in a discord server, analyse every message and collect information and think about him so often. I was so sad because he also was looking for friends and our chats seemed so relatable and genuine
20. What would you do if a person you like said they liked someone - so I assume it is about romantic stuff? I probably would be interested and ask them to tell me everything about the person, maybe get to know them. I probably would be a bit anxious to be replaced (because of my thoughts) but if everything seemed fine and I'm still liked I wouldn't mind it. It really depends with who it is. If the relationship is stable and I can be sure that I won't be replaced then I probably wouldn't care too much? But not sure, I never was in this situation.
21. Is there anyone you have given up on - my parents, I'm not sure if trying to explain myself to them or arguing with them is even worth it so I just gave up
22. 8 facts about your body - rather short, two semi-chronic conditions (yay /s), apparently my skin tone is "yellowish-beige" (the people I compared it to always had a more pinkish tone), I have 19 (or 20, if my last one didn't closed up already) piercing holes in it, my shoulders are rather broad for no reason, I have scars on my arms/hands/legs/upper body, I have body hair on my legs/arms/torso/belly/face (://)/hands a little bit so almost everywhere, apparently my feet are flat?
23. Things you want to say to an ex - (ahh I don't like this word) - maybe just ask them, why they faked an illness and wanted to manipulate me because I'm genuinly confused why some 15 year old would do that
24. 5 ways to win your heart - genuine interest (especially in my interests), hmm I don't know anymore. Just being kind I think
25. Your definition of cheating - when you are doing something with another person even though you and your partner/person/friend(?) decided upon to only doing it together. So e.g. when the other peeson wants to keep kissing between you two and you kiss someone different. So just things that you hide and that weren't consented by the other party
26. Something sweet you want someone to do with you - learn a language with me, solving some math problems with me
27. Most superficial characteristic you are looking for - maybe also trans? I like t4t
28. Sweetest thing you done to someone - Is it about romantic stuff? If so, none, because no one of the people you could considered romantic liked typical romantic stuff and neither do I, so no flowery gifts, no dining out with a romantic intention (hmm maybe because all the people I have been with don't like noise and crowded places), no serious pet names and stuff. But maybe you could count that I wrote a whole 5 to 10 page long analysis for someone, I wrote down how they react, how they are as a person, to understand them more. And then we read it together
29. Last time you felt jelous - I don't remember
30. The last person you hugged - girlfriend
31. Who was your first kiss with - with a friend/relationship person(??) when I was 15, it was in a shopping mal and it was on a day where we decided to meet some pedophile from the internet in order to get him to buy us stuff (it worked!). The kiss happened rather spontaneously
32. Why did your last relationship fail - lack of communication, mood swings in how I see the person, just some weird racist takes every so often that made the person unlikeable and very confusing to me
33. Do you talk to yourself - always
34. Best compliment you ever received - something with languages I think. I don't feel alot when receiving compliments, but I do a little more when it's about my interests
35. What says the most about a person - I really don't know because there are so many reasons why a person might behave in a way they do
36. How long have you been on Tumblr - I know I was on tumblr in 2018 (because I used to look at ED blogs at the time.... Hmm), but I always used it infrequently. I only started to use it more often since 2023 but still infrequently (now I use it more often because of someone)
37. Best dipping sauce - Avocado
38. Any pets - no. But my brother has birds but I never interact with them
39. Favorite drink - tea and coffee
40. Siblings - yes, one brother
41. Favorite animal - I don't have one
42. Do you think you are smart - I don't like to consider myself stupid or smart because I feel like you either then look down on people or look down on yourself. I experienced this kind of behaviour in school and it seemed like as if being smart is something fixed (in every subject!) that is defining you. I don't like this huge emphasis on intelligence and it seems creepy. People sometimes call me smart (probably because of my interests) but it's confusing because I'm only good at these things (more or less) because I'm interested in them. You are not stupid because you fail at things you are not interested in or motivated to do. And being good in ""harder"" topics doesn't make you smarter than others (I remember people good in math were always considered so smart, but people that excelled at other things were never really acknowledged). Also, it fluctuates a lot how good you can think. When I'm stressed or overwhelmed I can't think about basic stuff, when I'm highly concentrated I can do pretty amazing stuff. So in conclusion, being smart isn't a fixed state, depends on many things and is pretty much shaped by the way society handles things. I consider myself just a person that is good in some stuff, and bad in other - not inherently stupid or smart. (Oh and funny additional story. I had to do IQ tests when I was in therapy and it really strengthened my dislike/distrust of IQ tests and this whole concept in general. One test came back with something high, the other one with something low or something. So two compmetely opposite results? I don't think they tested different things back then, so confused. So yeah, I don't like them and have many thoughts about the concept of intelligence itself)
43. Describe someone you think is cute - cute, trans, longish brown hair, autistic (proably), skirts, way taller than me, can sew stuffed animals
44. Do you like the beach - no, so boring
45. Worst artificial flavor - I don't like artificial sweet flavors, they hurt my teeth
46. What kind of phone - Fairphone 4 with a custom rom (Iodé)
That was fun!

From The Economy Press archives - page 82 of Sir William Bragg’s The Universe of Light - basis of the cover design for Nicolas Behr’s Mirror-City: New and Selected Poems (translated by Jon Woodward). The intersection of the rays - the way light enters an object - creating beauty as it struggles for emergence makes Fig. 51 a fitting visual.
As Woodward writes in his introduction to Mirror-City: “Behr’s work summons the spectral ‘braxília,’ the city that Brasília could have been - incorporating an x where the city’s major arteries cross into the name itself - where the ‘wings’ and ‘body’ meet.” * Mirror-City is a collection of new and selected poems by Nicolas Behr - “Brasília’s poet” - who was imprisoned in 1978 by the Department of Political and Social Order in an attempt to silence him and his writing. Upon his release, Behr reported that he planned to buy a megaphone so that he could speak louder. Translated by Jon Woodward and authorized by the author, Mirror-City includes work ranging from the late 1970s to the present, as well as six new pieces. Portuguese originals and English translations appear on facing pages.
