September 18 is close wich means that in Chile our homeland holiday "Fiestas Patrias" it's going to be celebrated very soon!

I drew a Chilean version of Hatsune Miku for the occasion, wearing a dress from one of our most popular dance for this festivity called "Cueca" her hair are two Copihue flowers ♡

Today, September 18, in Chile we are celebrating our anniversary since the First Government meeting, which helped us consolidate our country as an independent country yayy

This is not my main HC of Nervous' nationality, I only have this HC to entertain myself and in a way to feel represented through my favorite character 🫶 Nervous feels disgusted by the empanada he is eating because the day I started this drawing I ate a horrible empanada 😭😭

I think this will be the last time I draw Chilean Nervous, RIP queen

Sadly, I received an anonymous ask months ago telling me that Nervous could not be Hispanic because of physical appearance. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we try to prove everything that is contrary to that "belief"

If you are not a Hispanic person (or non Latino), I want you to know that comments like this are racist and violate the identity of many Hispanics, no matter if they are white or not; that you pigeonhole Hispanics/Latinos with certain physical features is horrible considering that we are a region of the world full of diversity.

If you think this is exaggerated, let me tell you that it is not. Our identity is just as important as yours.

Felices Fiestas Patrias! July 28 is Peruvian Independence Day, so here's a cool piece of Peruvian history to help you celebrate the day.

These little statues are ceramics made by the Moche people of first-millennium Peru. For a long time, conservative scholars weren't willing to talk about them because so many of them show all different types of sex: anything from sex between monkeys to sex between skeletons to monkey-skeleton-sex, and a whole bunch of stuff that seems pretty queer. On the left is two men embracing - for a long time scholars categorised this as a depiction of conjoined twins, despite it looking the same as a bunch of other pots identified as people embracing! On the right is our personal favourite - a skeleton cuddling his human boyfriend.

It’s difficult to be sure what the Moche had in mind when making these erotic pots, and we can’t say for certain how they would have understood gender or sexuality. But it does seem that they depict not just male-male sex, but also trans or non-binary people, who wear what modern scholars understand as a mix of masculine and feminine clothing and hairstyles.

Today our highschool did a Fonda (Festival) for us, twelve graders, since we will go to the university next year. It was very fun, my fellow Chileans can agree. We had terremotos, yincanas, empanadas, toda la parafernalia, fue genial.

Brainrotting about my Mexican Free! AU

Thinking about Rin serenading Haru, like, in full mariachi outfit, with a big acoustic guitar and accompanied by the Samezuka gang to make harmonies, Sousuke with another guitar and wanting to leave but Rin promised to pay him (he actually loves supporting Rin's cringe romantic idea but won't say it) Ai giving everything on the trumpet despite being a little out of tune and Momo with some maracas trying his best.

Haru comes out. Still half asleep, and also half charmed and half pissed off. He's listening to the song Rin is screaming with all his lungs, its "Vámonos". Haru wants equally to throw a chancla at Rin and kiss him right there. He just listens to him, and smiles. That suit looks good on him.
