Mason and kinsley just found out they they are having #4 to kinsley’s surprise. They needed more room for their growing family. They aka Mason decided that building their future house was his next project. He secured a lot of land and Kaiden offered to take the project on while being a stay at home dad. With Kade’s dedication and fast workers, the house was done a few weeks before the birth of Aiden. OT8 got to tour it and it is massive. “All of this Mase? It’s huge! They only thing you’re missing is a helicopter and launch pad!” Noah says but Kinsley groans. “Don’t give him any ideas please!” Mason holds on to kinsley waist as they walk the stairs. “This has been in the making for a while and I wanted to permanently lay down my roots plus I wanted a little privacy.” Lennox laughs as he adjust Knox. “Mason you don’t really know the definition of privacy since everyone comes over when they want and knows you.” Mason shrugs but smile. “Well you know what I mean. We will establish boundaries now but this is the best part.” Mason opens the French glass doors to the master bedroom and the view is breathtaking. Kinsley leans back into Mason embrace. “Worth it” Mason kisses the side of her head. “Definitely princess”

That house would be gorgeous 🥺It would have plenty of rooms for them and the kids as well as guest rooms for their families and OT8, two studios, a theater room, pool out back and a large deck that outlooks all of the acreage behind their house 🥰

Keys To The Heart

@mxuntainlion sent "trick or treat" for a spooky liddol treat... this time it's an Andgriel and Aiden drabble!

The seasons had turned, the wet heaviness of winter overtaking the warm hues of fall.

Winter was hard when you were alone. They were long and dreary on the east coast, only made bearable for many years with the companionship of the animals Andgriel kept and occasional visits to town when his stockpiles grew thin, or he found he needed someone else's voice to occupy his space when the radio felt stale. But for the second winter now he'd have company in the form of a headstrong and sometimes abundantly foolish man that had shown up by request and stayed around no matter what was done to be rid of him. Aiden had become a fixture of the farmstead, and Andgriel had come to find himself almost feeling amiss without the presence of the other even when the weather was fair, and the skies were bright with promise of growth. To think of another winter alone seemed almost unfathomable now that he'd gotten so used to the companionship, a warmth in his bed increasingly frequently that was reliable, if sometimes selfish of the blankets.

He found himself grateful on days where chores came and went without hassle thanks to the extra hands of the Cat, slinging hay or changing out blankets hardly requiring a second thought even in the worst storms. They'd crunch back to the house, shed damp layers, and warm themselves by the fire and with mugs of hot drink. Often Andgriel would find himself with cold fingers or toes pressed against him, and even this he began to find himself grateful for, allowing them beneath his dry thermal layers with only the barest of reproachful looks.

The winter brought with it holidays. Their first year Andgriel had still been reliant on Aiden's assistance, ribs mending but still unable to do heavy lifting. That year had been rough, with some of the worst snow and storms Andgriel had seen in more than a decade. But the Cat had stuck it out, Andgriel even coming down to the barn one morning to find him nestled in the hay with a horse's blanket thrown over himself. One of the newer mares had spooked with the squalls, requiring a gentle hand to reassure her. Aiden had spent the night there just in case she spooked again. In return for the arduous work and going beyond what Andgriel asked of him, he gave Aiden a holiday bonus (a healthy one, at that. If the Cat had wanted to, he could have walked away at once and bought himself round trip tickets for a week on some warm tropical island, splurging, and never have to spend a dime of his own money), but this year felt different. Aiden had stuck around-past his welcome, true, but had grown on the lonesome man all the same-and they had become something more than just two old men tending a farm and their passions on the same acreage.

" 'm not one fer gifts," he prefaced as he handed Aiden a festive little bag stuffed with tissue paper and tagged with the other's name. Andgriel just assumed the x's and o's were implied, since he cared enough to make the effort at all. They sat in the living room, a warm fire going and the tree, cut down only a few weeks ago by the men themselves, lit and decorated. It was the first time Andgriel had bothered since he built the house. "But I think it's 'bout time."

Nestled inside, soon to be in the Cat's palm, was a ring of keys. It was sparse, true, but Andgriel had few things to keep locked away--each had nifty little key covers that the nice young lady down at the hardware store had insisted he needed to keep his keys straight when he'd got the doubles made. A little green pawprint went to the barn, the VW bus went to the old truck currently sheltered in the garage, and the cheeky pig was to the guest house that Aiden had initially stayed in and sometimes still did. The last was an orange corgi wearing an unflattering floral-print bucket hat--that one went to the main house. "In case you want t'... you know. Stick around." He seemed abashed to say it, as if asking Aiden to move in with him was a feat or Herculean strength. His cheeks were tinged red.

With a deep breath he leaned in, taking the orange key gently and offering that one in particular. "Guess what I'm askin' is if you'll live here," he chose to say then, clarifying, realizing there was no use in beating around the bush. He'd lay all his cards out on the table. "If you'll move in. With me. In a permanent way, like couples do." He smiled, eyes sparkling with truth. "Bed ain't the same without you."

Sometimes Andgriel wondered if Aiden hadn't come unexpectedly and decided to dig in his claws, whether he would have found someone to love. He wasn't one to go out of his way, so to find someone to challenge and surprise him by worming their way out of the woodwork endeared him. Enamored him, even before the Cat could open his mouth or flash one of his playful grins. Andgriel had a good sense of people.

He knew this was his person.

Trapped Neighborhood Refs

Finally finished them! Changed their designs and heights a bit but they’re done~!
