I have a thought provoking question/s lol are there any differences/similarities with genres of music Mase, Kins and Ki produce? And does Ava have a preference over who produces her albums in terms of genre, pushing her creatively?

Mason is more of the “hit maker” type of producer lol when people want something that will be a guaranteed hit, they typically go to Mase because he’s good at capitalizing on whatever is popular at the moment. As a result, he does a lot of pop and dance music lol

Kins is the type of producer that will make a song and within a month, people are churning out songs that sound just like it lol so I guess you could say she sets the trends 😭she has a unique ability to be able to tell what will resonate with people and a lot of her most popular songs are the b-sides that get included on albums, not the title tracks typically lol Kins is amazing with all genres but her favorites are R&B, hip hop and rock lol

Kiyoung is a wild card lol whatever has his attention at the moment, that’s what he’s most excited about 😭his favorites are pop, hip hop, and dance/edm music

As for Ava, it kind of depends on what vibe the track has lol if it’s more upbeat and she wants something to potentially be her title track/lead single, then she’ll work with Mase but if she has a story to tell and wants the music to shine the most, she’ll go to Kins 😌

The Kinsley Family Portraits

Starting off with the heads of the Kinsley Family, Candy along with her late husband, Filbert. Their turbulent relationship and their shared history together is filled with mystery as Candy never divulges much about him but it is obvious how much she detests him and that her grandson is an uncanny lookalike to the man.

Now here are our young sweethearts, Truffles and Ronald Kinsley, the young teen parents of Honey & Choc Kinsley. Where they were each other's first loves. Both of their head shots are my favorite to do so I kinda put the most effort into them.

Then finally at long last is a teen/young adult Honey around the age of 16-19yo. The hair had been my favorite part of her to design and I genuinely enjoy seeing the young version of my old Gal.

General notes: yes she was 55 when she had Brayden deciding rn if I'm going to mess with the math more (mostly just make the age gaps with the last two smaller) or if I'll just leave it this way and use the miracle baby excuse.

personifications age 1 year for every 2 that pass until they're 'adults' (usually around 25 physically), this is why Ahmed is older despite being younger than the majority of his siblings. They could be angsty about it but instead he just uses it to tease his older siblings :p

I think they stopped trying for more after Jayden, and were in the process of adopting Ahmed when they found out Illithiya was pregnant with Kayden and after 'much prayer and meditation' (<- freaking the fuck out for 20 business days) decided to adopt Ahmed anyway bc to heck with it.

Nah but like Kayden was a 'oh weren't expecting that but we're always happy to make our family bigger :)'; Brayden caused the panicking and tears, and "we can't have another baby, I shouldn't be able to have another baby!" bc it had been 12 years since Kayden was born, and 11 since they adopted Ahmed and suddenly here's another kid??? they love him so much but holy fuck bud u came out of nowhere.

I do actually have an essay typed up on Illithiya, Ahmed and Zach specifically pertaining to how Illithiya and Ahmed will grow old and die and the rest of the family wont. It's bullet points is

Illithiya considers herself privileged and chosen in someway to be Utah's wife and the mother of cities. she thinks that God somehow hand picked her for the job, and she doesn't like that her husband and children aren't 'normal' all the time, but this is what gets her through it. Then God gave her Ahmed so she would be able to watch one of her children grow and have a normal life.

Ahmed always thinking he was just different because he was adopted, then in his mid-teens processing fully that that's not the entire reason. Dude randomly remembered that time he got it explained to him that his dad and siblings are semi-immortal beings the represent pieces of land, their governments, and their people 🤯

uhh angst about Zach leaving the church, there were a lot of reasons he left but the straw on the camels back was absolutely in relation to the fact that Illithiya and Ahmed would die long before he would and he'd have to live without them. The snapping point was an argument he got into with Illithiya where he asked her "if you're actually chosen, like you say you are, why is God letting you die?" and when Illithiya didn't have an answer (and even if she had he had already made up his mind on the matter) he decided he was done.

STHENELUS!!!! 😭 Favorite thing about them! Random Headcanon! Do you have a song you associate with them?

CRACKS MY KNUCKLES i could talk ab this guy for hours… my favorite thing ab him is he’s such a hypebeast for Diomedes. supports this guy all the way through. drives his chariot. tells Dio he loves him with all his heart right in battle. i think a very important character beat for him is his loyalty and devotion (mostly to Diomedes. idk. they are a set. do not separate) but he’s also an outstanding warrior on his own. his mother Evadne is a daughter of Ares (in some versions of his mythos) so he’s got a little bit of that demigod strength to him.

random headcanon that i really enjoy is i think he was such a mama’s boy as a little kid, before both his parents died. Capaneus left for the first Theban war when Sthenelus was 2-3 years old and as a result he became very attached to Evadne. she was a good mother to him even though he could be a very difficult child sometimes, but she was always patient with him and he loved and adored her so much (and still misses her a lot as an adult, though he tries his best not to think about her death)

song that reminds me of him (and Diomedes by extension) their relationship in the Iliad strikes me as a bit strained at times—it’s an unequal balance of give and take. Sthenelus is unconditionally devoted to him and not afraid to show it. Diomedes is very afraid of the thought of this, the devotion, the commitment. He glares at him when he speaks his affections and tells him to be quiet. He’s just not quite ready for someone to love him the way Sthenelus does. but Sthenelus will wait for him steadfast, however long it takes.

It's probably been said before, but i watched a video, and it made me think. You know the videos and story of people doing to their daughters first before seeing the baby after birth. I feel like Yoongi would do that with Kins. While everyone is excited to meet the new baby, he's checking on his baby.

Oh absolutely! Yoongi was a nervous wreck during all of Kinsley’s pregnancies but especially her first one! He was so relieved when he was finally able to see her and give her hugs and scratchies lol 😌

Decided to do some revamping on Honey's appearance. As this been on my mind for days and I've been needing to share it 

Simple words; Buff feminine woman. 

Honey can easily lift anyone off their feet and with Choc it's like lifting grapes. She tends to merely drag her brother along with one hand when she's in need of him whether he likes it or not. Throughout her childhood to now into her golden years, she led an active life. She's known to be willing to get her hands dirty if it means getting a job done. Rather known for her brash approach of fighting now and think later. 

She confidently uses her beauty and strength to lure im the unsuspecting masses to do her bidding in order to get what she wanted in life that often made difficult for her. Though during her youth was another case, she played the airhead bimbo to even get a foot in the rather unfair game. However it wasn't the case when she was a young girl awkwardly transitioning to an adult, while suffering from severe body dysphoria. People without shame told her she was too tall, too broad, and had far too much muscle to be a ‘proper lady’ in their opinion.  

The entire Kinsley family, Candy's side, and majorly the women were built to be hardy. The only outlier is Choc taking a likeness to their maternal grandfather with his leaner, skinny frame and longer limbs, built more for speed and endurance then strength.

Spoopy Season (Super Sim Update)

I've made a lot of progress in my playthrough since my last update. Finished Vampires and am solidly into Cats & Dogs (well, just cats for me, so far).

Stella's guardianship of Katie and Joey didn't last long - as soon as Katie aged up into a Young Adult, and Joey became a toddler, Stella sent them back to live in the childhood home (with a chunk of change - Stella has so much money, it's really no big deal to hand over 100k here and there). But not before Katie and Preston could reconcile - they are half-siblings after all. It's neither of their fault that their parents' divorce was so nasty.

Shortly after the grandkids moved out, Stella completed the remaining Vampire Aspirations, and returned to the life of the living.

And what better way to celebrate becoming undead (and Harvestfest) than a grand meal at Grandma's house? Stella made sure to get selfies with/pictures of each of her grandchildren during the occasion:

Matthew and Sawyer - Cade and Luna (Villareal)'s children.

Preston, Katie, and Joey - Kinsley and Kyle (Kyleson)'s children (well, Preston is Orange Bailey-Moon's son, hence the tan).

Ok, so it appears that I missed getting a picture of/with Carlie - Emma and Sean (Pancakes)'s kid... but to be fair, she's not technically Stella's grandchild. But she was there, see (at the end of the table):

Harvestfest was also a great way to introduce everyone to Stella's newest household member - Benny!

(I'd hide on top of the fridge if there were that many people in my house, too.)

Meanwhile. Caleb was so smitten with Stella that he completely skipped the "become romantic partners" stage and jumped straight to the marriage proposal, which Stella accepted under one condition - he, also, had to rejoin the living.

(Yes, that's one of the bathrooms at the Vatore house.)

But being that Caleb has the Foodie trait, he seems to enjoy being able to once again enjoy a good meal and/or libation. (I did warm up his skintone one level, since he's no longer a vampire.)

And just because his sister is still an immortal vampire, doesn't mean he'll never see her again. In fact, she just joined Stella and Caleb for Winterfest.

And this year's New Year's Eve went much smoother than last year.

I don't have many screenshots of the Cats & Dogs gameplay, mostly because the Pet Training Skill takes forever and is boring, and the Vet Clinic gameplay is repetitive and boring.

Stella has maxed the Vet Skill already, and is Level 4 of Pet Training, so thank God I'll soon be done. I was going to play until I got a 5-star rating on my Vet Clinic, but I just don't think that's possible. What is possible, though, apparently, is hiring your nepo-baby grandson with no experience whatsoever to be a vet:
