Phoenix Wright: Um, I don’t think that’s a terrible enough of a crime to be divinely punished for, Ahlbi... (should probably just be “a terrible enough”... idk anymore)

Yuri Cosmos: Our endeavours with the moon rock lives on in our work with those asteroid samples! (endeavours is actually propert British English. Whether it was intended to be spelled that way is not the problem I have with it. Later in the sentence, the verb “lives” refers to the subject “endeavours”. This is not proper agreement. Should be “endeavours... live on”.)

Trucy Wright: So Dadddy’s going to find out who killed Dr. Cykes, too! (...should be “Daddy’s”. Also spoilers. Where is the gravitas?)

Invalid Message: A cleaning robot must follow a human’s orders, as long as it causes no human harm. (This sentence is actually fine. The problem is actually a programming error, giving the cleaning robot the name “Invalid Message” with no tag behind the words. Or maybe that was on purpose? I don’t know, but it’s odd.)

Phoenix Wright: But take a look at Ponco’s arm. It was Ms. Cykes who bandaged it up that like. (flip the last two words around. There you go. Should be “like that”.)

Athena Cykes: I wonder why did she was doing the same things she did a year ago? (maybe they started out meaning to write the sentence another way involving the word did. But it doesn’t belong there. Should be “why she was doing”.)

Phoenix Wright: This colorful sign... Did Ms. Bucker make it? (the defendant’s last name is spelled wrong. It should be “Buckler”.)

Phoenix Wright: You say Ms. Bucker was mad... Was it because of the new show? (Who is this “Ms. Bucker” Phoenix keeps going on about?)

Gaspen Payne: Allow me spell out this “truth” the defense didn’t bother to think through. (should be “Allow me to spell out”.)

Gaspen Payne: Don’t tell me this a surprise witness for the defense? (should be “this is a”. The Incredible Payne keeps forgetting words.)

All typos I found in The Cosmic Turnabout, Turnabout for Tomorrow, and Turnabout Reclaimed. Quite a bit less here, though I may have simply not cared. Also a bonus from the ones I’ve seen in Spirit of Justice so far. I’ve only played through the first case and into the second case. I think I missed a typo in the second case, but it seems less rushed than Dual Destinies so far. Also the text is easier to read.

Athena Cykes: Did the police check to see from whom the blood on the pottery came from? (This is what I call a “circular sentence”. The speaker/writer is trying to sound smart by putting “from” at the beginning of the sentence for the purpose of not having it end in a preposition, but the word is repeated at the end of the sentence anyway. Though technically acceptable, it annoys me and is redundant. Should be “from whom... came.” or “whom... came from”.)

Simon Blackquill: That is, if your head wish to enjoy the continued companionship of your body. (should be “head wishes”.)

Simon Blackquill: An inmate who was formally a surgeon once told me something. (should be “formerly”.)

Jinxie Tenma: Return to the black pit from whence you were spawned! (technically acceptable, but “whence” means “from where”, making from whence “from where where”; i.e. redundant. Should just be “whence”.)

Phineas Filch: That’s right. He stole for the rich to give to the poor. (I don’t know if Filch is just being “unique” here, but if not, it should be “from the rich”.)

Florent L’Belle: Honestly! You have the memory capacity of a FLEA! Practice it a hundred times more times! (redundancy. I think he meant to say “a hundred more times” or “a hundred times more”.)

Phineas Filch: ...and ‘cause o’ them superstitions, no matter what I do, the villages won’t say a word! (I don’t think villages can talk. Should be “the villagers”.)

Apollo Justice: I believe that to be extremely importantly! I request that it be added to the testimony! (two adverbs where an adverb and an adjective belong. Should be “extremely important”.)
