⚙️
“I don’t travel with droids.” His voice reminds you of Boba’s when he wears that ridiculous helmet of his. Cold and hollow, more metal than man.
Boba sounds almost defensive of you when he speaks again. You can picture him leaning forward in his chair, the way he does when someone snaps at him. “She’s not a droid.”
“How much of it is even human?” You can’t help but flinch at that, no ones ever spoken about you in such a manner before. No one with a brain would disrespect someone like “Lord Fett” like that.
“She’s not an it.” Fennec speaks for the first time since all of this started, her voice is a hiss you’ve never been on the receiving end of before but you’ve heard her snarl at others before, slavers and other scum who come seeking a boon. You always wondered why such monsters would dare show their faces here, of course Boba dealt in criminal activity but never with people that foul. They often came seeking a Lord Fortuna, and were instead met with the barrel of Fennec’s rifle.
You can’t help but wonder if this “friend of Boba’s” is going to meet the same end. Both of them said they knew him well when he arrived but now they speak to him like the stranger that you know him as. A rude stranger.
The silence that follows is long, you can’t help but wonder if Fennec really did draw her weapon, before you can bring yourself to sneak a look around the corner you hear the all too familiar throat clearing noise that Boba makes before coming to a verdict.
“Look, either she watches the kid here, or she watches the kid with you. Either way she’s going to be involved, you just need to decide if you want to be there to keep an eye on her.” He always says everything with an air of finality, no wonder no one ever debates his decisions. The stranger barely has a chance to sigh before Boba continues. “No one trustworthy on Tatooine is going to take a babysitting gig for what you’re willing to pay.”
“I can’t afford anything more.” He’s furious. Even through the voice modulator you can hear that he’s trying not to lose his cool, but there’s an edge of desperation hiding under his anger.
“She’ll work for free. I’ll even cover her expenses.” You know Boba would do anything for you but this just seems like a bit much. He’s negotiating as if this man didn’t come to him asking for help.
“You want to get rid of her that badly?” Ouch. Rude and presumptuous.
“The last thing I want to do is lose her. That’s why I’m sending her with you.” You don’t doubt that. He’s proven to you enough how much you mean to him, even when he had no reason to.
“Sounds like you’ve made the decision for me.” Sounds like he made the decision for you as well. Has he even considered that you don’t want to go with him? Your desire to see the galaxy is fizzling out the more you think about having to travel with someone who doesn’t even see you as a person.
Another beat of that silence, dripping with tension before Boba takes control of the conversation once more. “She can’t stay here forever. I promised her she’d get to see someplace other than this dusty floating rock. They need me here. They need Fennec here. There aren’t many I would trust to do this but I know she’ll be safest with you. So take her or don’t, but you aren’t going to find anyone else to watch the kid for what you’re offering.”
“Find someone else.”
“There isn’t anyone else.” His patience is wearing thin. You know him well enough to know that he’s likely to snap soon. “You’re not the only one who’s trying to keep their family safe.” The authority in his tone reminds you of the exact reason no one ever argues with Boba.
Not even rude strangers who come bearing absurd demands and who claim to be friends.
“Fine.”

Fixing the Mandalorian season 3: an outline rewrite
Now that the season is finished and I can see the whole picture...season 3 had a few issues. It had a lot of good moments and some great story potential, but I think it could have been executed a lot better.
So I’ve fixed it by making a few tweaks, rearranging some scenes, and letting this be two seasons rather than one. I am trying to use roughly the same resources and roughly the same plot beats as canon did while still having the spirit of the first two seasons.
One of my major goals is also to make sure each show is self-contained—aka, you do not have to have seen any other show other than the one you’re watching for things to make sense. (Although of course, if you have seen the other shows, you will know a lot more context.)
Also fair warning, this is staying platonic, but if you want to imagine more shippy details, feel free.
This might get a little long.
So. Let’s start with Book of Boba Fett.
BoBF: Din is not the main character, Boba Is
Grogu and Luke do not make an appearance at all.
Pretty much the entire storyline of BoBF needs fixing, but fixing Boba’s story is a different issue. This post is about fixing the Mandalorian, so I’m going to focus on the last couple episodes when Din appears.
Episode 5 (or 6, depending on how Boba’s story is fixed) opens in media res, action scene. Din is in the middle of killing/beating up a bunch of guys while on a bounty hunt. Din wins the fight, pushes forward, and…it is revealed that his bounty is a child who was kidnapped for ransom that Din has been hired to retrieve.
Optional: Shots during this part that parallel the very first episode of season 1.
Din reunites child with grateful rich parent/client. There’s a moment of Din looking at them longingly and it’s clear that Din is angsting over watching the parent/child reunion. The pain of losing Grogu is still relatively fresh.
After Din is paid, Fennec appears (in person or more likely via holocall).
There is a two-line exchange: Fennec asking how Din’s search for his people is going, Din replying it’s not going well and that he hasn’t found anything in weeks/months. Thus establishing two things: 1) Din is looking for other Mandalorians. 2) It has been weeks/months since the season 2 finale.
Fennec says Boba has a job for Din. Din says he owes Boba and he’ll do it for free.
All of the above takes up maybe the first five minutes of the episode at most.
This also works because it feeds Mandalorian fans while not requiring you to have seen the Mandalorian at all if you’re just here for the Boba Fett show.
If you’re watching BoBF in a vacuum, then it establishes all you really need to know: Din is a Mandalorian/has similar armor to Boba, is an ally of Boba’s, and is a very good fighter. It makes perfect sense Boba would call him for help.
From a business standpoint, this also still promotes the Mandalorian show. (“Hey, if you think this guy is cool, he already has his own show!”)
If you have seen the Mandalorian then you know the context of why Din is angsting over a parent/child reunion and you are having FEELINGS.
We next see Din on Tatooine and he is present for the BoBF finale as part of Boba’s crew.
Crucially, nothing of actual plot importance happens with Din. It is not required to watch BoBF to understand season 3 of the Mandalorian.
The focus of the show is on Boba, and Din is there to be a cameo/look cool/be Boba’s backup so we can have some cool side-by-side shots and give the Mandalorian fans a sliver of content without disrupting BoBF-only watchers’ experience.
The scene where Din says “I’m with you until we both fall” can stay, complete with sending the majordomo out with a fake notice of surrender. (Because that was great, and a good character moment for Boba.)
There is no Grogu appearing in the middle of the fight. Grogu is not even mentioned beyond the implication that Din misses him.
After the battle, we can either see Boba thank Din and then Din leaves to a quick little motif of his theme song. Or, because this is Boba’s show and Din is a side character, we might not even see Din leave. The focus might be more on other cast members.
New Mando s3: Din and Grogu
The theme: Din and Grogu reuniting, Din redeeming himself and rebuilding in the wake of season 2, the covert
Episode 1: Canon BoBF episode, where it should be
Canon BoBF ep 5, with a few differences.
The entire dramatic bounty-hunting/fight scene in the freezer is perfect, nothing changes. It also serves to tell the audience that Din’s having issues wielding the darksaber.
Din tracks down not only the Armorer and Paz, but there are some other survivors as well. Paz/somebody heals him from his darksaber accident.
Preferably that character is a new named Mando character who is basically the covert’s doctor/medic. Like they can fight but they actually specialize in combat medicine. (This is also a good opportunity for worldbuilding since we can go into a bit more detail on how they handle injuries. Do they all cauterize their wounds or was that just Din out in the field? How do they handle head injuries if they can’t remove their helmet??)
Optional: have a passing comment about how long it’s been since the fight with the Nevarro bounty guild, further establishing that some time has passed.
This is also a chance for a nice sprinkling of worldbuilding for what the covert is like, how Din interacts with other members, and what he misses about them.
Some members of the covert actually ask him why he removed his helmet, and there is some debate on whether his removal was acceptable as it was in service of a foundling.
This is a good chance to introduce a few more Mandalorian characters. They don’t have to be big/detailed roles, but it helps humanize the Mandos a bit to show that they aren’t all a monolith, and we can have some familiar faces/helmets in future episodes. (And now you have names to go with the Funko pop figures. Because this is Star Wars and Disney, and let’s face it a major part of the franchise is the merch. We gotta keep the studio execs happy and the investors rich or they’ll ax our show.)
Maybe Paz is the hothead of the group, or maybe his personality is pretty typical for the group. Maybe Din is unusually quiet/private compared to the rest of the group. Maybe one person is even more strict about the Creed than Din is. Maybe one just straight up does not speak in Basic/English and needs subtitles, implying that under the helmet they’re some species that physically can’t speak Basic/English. etc. Give us some characters.
Optional: a passing line to indicate that even though the audience is hearing English (or whatever Earth language) with no subtitles, the Mandalorians including Din are actually all speaking Mando’a and we’re getting a direct translation.
Anyway so they’re all debating whether Din is an apostate or not. The Armorer points out that the Creed is clear on removing the helmet, but she sounds deeply sorrowful/regretful about it.
Some members think Din is now an apostate. Others think that Din’s removal was justified.
Crucially, Din himself falls on the apostate side, and he believes he needs to be redeemed.
Optional: When the covert find out he has the darksaber, there is further debate on whether this redeems him or not. Din doesn’t think it does.
Like in canon, Paz challenges him for the darksaber. Din is not sure he wants to be leader, but he also isn’t willing to just hand it over.
Paz is like, if you don’t want it, why are you fighting so hard for it? And Din points out that losing a fight on purpose is Not the Way. Paz points out that he is an apostate. Din still refuses to give up without a fight. (Same fight from canon, with other Mandos watching, Din wins.)
Optional: At some point we meet Ragnar and learn that he is Paz’s foundling/apprentice. He is training to swear the Creed. Bonus points if Din angsts over that too.
When covert members ask about Grogu, Din reveals that he has coordinates for Grogu. (It can be left vague whether Din found them himself or Luke gave them to him off-screen) But Din has not visited Grogu because he doesn’t want to interfere with Grogu’s training.
Din decides he wants to go to Mandalore to bathe in the waters and redeem himself. The Armorer warns him that it is probably not possible since Mandalore was glassed, but Din is determined to try.
The covert wishes him luck. The Armorer decides to give him a gift: some chainmail for Grogu. (can be made from the spear or not.) Din protests that he has returned Grogu to his people and will not jeopardize his training. The Armorer replies that it is the child’s birthright as a Mandalorian foundling. Even if Din does not see the child again, then the chainmail will serve as a reminder of what Din sacrificed so much for.
The Armorer also gives Din a cool new weapon, possibly a new amban rifle or something similar.
Let’s face it, cool weapons are integral to his character's design, coolness factor, and marketability. Gotta have something to make new toys. If the spear is melted down, he’ll need a replacement cool weapon. Even if he keeps the spear, that means he has two cool melee weapons, the darksaber and the spear, and he needs a cool long-range weapon.
Din accepts the gifts.
The covert is discovered by bad guys (Imperials? Beskar hunters? a crime syndicate?), there is another action sequence while the Mandalorians fight off the intruders. Din assists the others in fighting the enemies off. (This is a good chance for further characterization and exploration of group dynamics. Does Din communicate well and fight in sync with his fellow covert members, or has his time away from the covert and his bounty hunting career made it so he tends to fight alone rather than working as a team?)
The Mandalorians win easily, because this is a chance to show off Mandalorian combat.
But because secrecy is their survival, the covert must now relocate.
Optional: a good father-son moment with Paz defending Ragnar. Bonus points if Din also sees Ragnar defend himself using something he learned in training earlier in the episode. (Because it reinforces to Din that training is important. He’s going to bring that up later.)
Din helps the covert acquire a ship to get off planet (possibly with some money he earned on his way here? Showing that he still thinks of himself as the covert's provider. Or maybe they steal one)
The Armorer asks if he wishes to join them. Din shakes his head, doesn’t believe himself to be worthy. He feels he does not belong with them and is an apostate.
The Mandalorians part ways, with the covert off to find a new location, while Din is left alone, watching them leave. (Visually, this shows him at rock bottom. He is an apostate. He has no ship, he has no covert, he has no child. It’s just him, alone in the universe.)
Optional end stinger: We see Grogu, meditating on a rock. He is concentrating for a moment, then his eyes open. He looks sad (and adorable). Possibly reaches out a hand, reminiscent of s1 ep1’s ending moment, but there is no Din there to take his finger.
Episode 2: Din and Grogu reunite
This episode has two plots: Din’s plot and Grogu’s. We switch between them.
Optional: No CGI Luke. I love that Mark Hamill got to come back, but CGI Luke is not good at emoting. It worked okay for the season 2 finale, because Luke was calm and not super emotionally involved, but by the time we get to season 3 we need him to be able to emote or he comes off as very flat. If necessary, we can use a little CGI to make a lookalike actor (Sebastian Stan? An unknown?) a little more Luke like. But remember Luke is a bit older, he doesn’t have to look exactly like he did in Return of the Jedi.
Screw it, maybe he has a beard now or something. He had a beard in the Last Jedi, and Disney wants us to use this season to prop up the sequels, right? Just look at that continuity! And that might make it easier for makeup/a touch of CGI to make the actor look more like Mark Hamill.
A Plot
We see a montage of Grogu and Luke training. Pretty much the canon scenes from canon BoBF ep 6. The seasons change on the planet they are on during the training montage to indicate the passage of time.
Grogu is doing well in his studies, but he is very easily distracted and almost always looks sad. It’s clear that he’s feeling very distracted/conflicted. Luke is concerned.
Optional: show that Grogu is not the only student being trained. He likes the other students, but it’s clear that he isn’t as focused as the others. (Maybe squeeze in a quick flashback to happy Grogu back in the Jedi creche with the other students to show the difference?)
B Plot
Switch to Din. Din’s plot is basically the non-covert parts of BoBF ep 5. Funny public transport sequence to Tatooine, the bundle of armor is shaped like Grogu’s head, Rodian child angst. Meets up with Pelli, gets N1. Pelli tells Din that fixing it would go faster if Din helped.
A Plot
Luke is concerned because Grogu is very gifted with the Force but it’s clear his feelings are conflicted. Luke meditates with Grogu, does the frog-lifting scene. Luke realizes that Grogu deeply misses Din, and Luke gently mentions that being a Jedi requires a lot more focus than Grogu is currently using.
Optional: Luke mentions he himself has struggled to find the balance between helping his friends and his Jedi training.
Luke consults Ahsoka by holocall or in person. (Possibly drop a hint at what Ahsoka’s doing. Looking for Ezra or fighting Thrawn or whatever she’s going to be doing in her show).
Ahsoka points out Grogu’s attachment to Din, which is why she didn’t train him in the first place.
Luke and Ahsoka have a discussion about Jedi philosophy and attachment. Ahsoka points out the Jedi did not maintain family attachments. Luke points out that he certainly is still maintaining contact with his family/friends.
Optional: Luke mentions he has found records of Jedi maintaining family relationships, anciently as well as recently. (Drop some KOTOR references?)
By the end of the discussion, they have clearly defined attachment/possessiveness for the audience. (Will this finally stop the endless discussion among fans about Anakin’s fall and whether the Jedi’s no-attachment rule caused it? Of course not, this is the Star Wars fandom lol.)
B Plot:
N1 repair montage.
Pelli modifies the back seat for Grogu, even though Din sadly points out that Grogu is not traveling with him anymore. Pelli’s like, “You want me to put a droid in there then?” Din, with possibly the first non-sad emotion we’ve seen him have this season, says no, absolutely not. Then Pelli’s like “So it’ll be for visits then!” Din is silent after that. He is clearly still sad.
There is a more in-depth conversation where Pelli wants more information about where Grogu is now and Din mentions that he of course misses Grogu, but he is sure that getting this training is the best thing for him and he made the right decision.
The repair montage might be shorter than or the same length as the original, depending on the runtime of the episode. (This episode will be on the longer side for a Mando episode. Maybe like an hour. Tbh you could probably stretch this out to two episodes if you really wanted.)
The N1 is finished. Din takes it out for a spin, sees the Rodian kid again, escapes from the space cops, plays out like the original BoBF ep 5 did.
After the test ride, he bids goodbye to Pelli and takes off to space.
In the N1 in space, Din has a quiet moment. Visual shots of space being huge and vast and beautiful, while Din’s ship is very small in comparison. While Din experienced a moment of happiness in rebuilding the N1, he is still very alone.
We see Din holding the armor bundle shaped like Grogu’s head and thinking. (This scene visually echoes the s1 ep3 scene where he contemplates the shifter knob and decides to rescue Grogu from the Imp compound instead of just leaving.)
After a moment of silent contemplation (and probably as the music builds), Din makes a decision. He jumps to hyperspace.
A Plot/B Plot:
Luke sits Grogu down and asks if Grogu would prefer to continue his Jedi training or to return to the Mandalorian. Luke points out that of course Grogu’s bond with Din is not a bad thing, but being a Jedi requires focus and commitment. The greater good and the Jedi code must come before all else. Luke also points out that a short time for Grogu is a long time for Din.
Luke would love to train Grogu to be a great Jedi, but he will respect whatever Grogu chooses.
Grogu chooses Din, and Luke accepts this decision.
Luke is just debating how they’re going to reach Din…when Din shows up!
Optional: still include the “Is that a bench?” scene with R2 lol.
Din is awkward and nervous and just wanted to stop by for a visit and give Grogu the armor, but Luke informs him of Grogu’s choice.
Din takes a bit of convincing, because after all he sacrificed a lot to get Grogu his training.
Luke mentions that Grogu has done well in his training, and although it is not finished, Grogu really does want to stay with Din.
Grogu does one of those delightfully ridiculous puppet baby flips into Din’s arms.
Father and son have a happy possibly tearful reunion.
Optional: we get another helmetless scene here with just Din and Grogu. (but probably not if Din hasn’t even adopted him yet)
Episode 3: Visit to Nevarro
Din visits Nevarro because Greef wants to give him a job offer, to stay and be a marshal since Cara is (fired) off doing New Republic things.
Din seriously considers the offer because it would provide stability for Grogu. He still wants to be redeemed, but going to Mandalore is a suicide mission and now he has the kid to think about.
Kind of s1ep4 vibes on Sorgan. Now that Din has left his covert, he has another chance to settle down, have a relatively normal life. We should have lots of moments either through framing/acting or maybe conversations with Greef that indicate that Din is thinking about taking the offer, but he’s reluctant to give up his desire to be redeemed. Grogu also clearly likes it here.
Optional: They can have a nice moment with the IG-11 statue like the canon s3 ep1 did, but there’s no reviving yet.
The pirate encounter occurs, but it’s a bit more extended and action-y and there are many more pirates—a scouting invasion.
After the climax of the episode and defeating the pirates, Greef and the Nevarro citizens are sifting through the pirates’ loot when they discover a green shard with Mandalorian writing on it. Din is shook.
Din interrogates a surviving captured pirate and discovers that they got it after raiding some exploration vessels in the Mandalore system. Din is ecstatic. Mandalore might be visitable, which means redemption is possible.
He declines Greef’s job offer, at least until after he is redeemed.
Episode 4: If we must include build up for the sequels, then fine. Have a fun pirate fight.
Din decides he needs a droid to measure the air readings on Mandalore, and IG-11 is that droid. The IG-11 terminator / Anzellan scenes play out like canon s3 ep1.
They leave Nevarro and are pursued by the pirates. (Can make this as long or as short as runtime allows, depending on how long the Pershing bit needs to be.)
Since this is the most flexible episode that doesn’t have as many important plot points, the Pershing story goes here as a B plot. If it has to be as long as it is due to executive demands, fine. Otherwise, condense it. A lot. The worldbuilding is great but the story itself really didn’t need to be that long. Make sure you drop hints about Gideon escaping and being alive.
Din and Grogu escape pirates.
Show the pirates on their ship. The captain mentions the mysterious employer who hired them is not going to be happy, and they’ll have to try again.
Episode 5: Getting R5 and having a fun filler adventure
Din and Grogu have a pit stop on Tatooine and have a fun action-y adventure involving Pelli and maybe a BoBF cast cameo or a fun new side character. Pelli gives Din R5 so he can test whether Mandalore is safe.
Din uses the darksaber in a fight at some point. He’s still struggling with it a bit, but he has gotten a bit better.
Grogu shows off his powers. Din is impressed and very proud of him.
Depending on how the runtime works out, either the end of this episode or the beginning of next episode is the bit from the original s3 ep1 where Din visits Bo-Katan on her depression throne and gets directions to the mines of Mandalore.
Episode 6: The Mines of Mandalore Revamped
This episode basically follows the original beats of s3 ep2. Grogu map lesson, Din captured, Grogu gets Bo-Katan, Bo-Katan saves Din, Grogu is powerful, Din is redeemed.
But we’re going to use this opportunity to flesh out some Mandalore backstory/history. Bo is a returning side character in this episode, but we need to flesh her out a bit more for next season.
I do want to make a bit more of a deal about Din setting foot on Mandalore for the first time. Like a shot of his boot landing on the ground and a slow pan on his helmet looking around at the barren landscape or a comment to Grogu or something. It’d take like five seconds.
Bo-Katan is still Creed-agnostic/atheist but clearly does respect Din even if she thinks his Creed is kind of dumb.
After Din wakes up post-barbecue-rescue, he points out that Bo-Katan beat the trap monster that captured him, so does she want the Darksaber? Bo-Katan bitterly says no, she can’t take it, because it has to be won in battle and whatever other reasons. The story’s not good enough—because it’s not so much about the sword itself, per se, but how you got it.
When Bo talks about her father she also mentions her sister. We’re not going to go into a whole crash course on who Satine is, because you should be able to watch this show without watching TCW. But a little mention would be nice. (Even if it’s just point to some random destroyed structure and be like “That was constructed under my sister’s rule.”)
Mention of her family can segue into a bare-bones outline of history so that TCW isn’t required viewing for context. We don’t need a detailed breakdown of pacifism/New Mandos vs Death Watch and can keep this all fairly vague. But we have to establish a couple things.
Bo fought in the Mandalorian Civil Wars, and she did a lot of shady things she now regrets. (What exactly the shady things were can be left as vague as Disney requires, because I have a feeling partly why canon Bo didn’t get to talk about this much is because Disney didn’t want a protagonist with a villainous past.)
Bo had a sister who once ruled Mandalore, but thanks to Bo and her shady actions, the sister was killed. (Yeah, it was a lot more complicated than that, but this shows that in the intervening years Bo has reflected upon her actions in TCW and regrets a lot of it and at least partly blames herself for Satine’s death. Part of her redemption arc.)
Bo concludes if the Mandalorians, including herself, hadn’t been so busy fighting over what divided them, they might have been ready for the Empire when it came, and Mandalore might not have been destroyed.
Optional: When Bo’s talking about things she regrets, Din says something about how he can relate to that because he’s also done things he regrets (like turning in Grogu or whatever he was doing with Ran’s group). Bo’s like, is that why you’re so determined to be redeemed? Because you regret taking your helmet off? And Din’s like, I don’t regret that. (because it was for Grogu)
Optional: Also, the more parallels we can fit between Din being redeemed with Mandalore being redeemed, the better. Din’s getting a new start, and so will Mandalore (and Bo)
Din recites the Creed and goes in the water. Make it more clear whether Din fell in or was pulled. I prefer pulled, but either is fine.
Optional: Bo-Katan sees the Mythosaur, but Din does not. Bo-Katan is shook. She does have a moment where Din asks if she still plans to reunite Mandalore and is she sure she doesn’t want the darksaber and she vagues at Din “...I will have to find another way.” While looking at the water. Clearly talking about the Mythosaur, but Din is oblivious since he didn’t see the Mythosaur.
Din and Bo-Katan part ways as friends. Din tells Bo-Katan he is in her debt and owes her one. The Kryze castle is not destroyed…(yet).
Episode 7: Reunion with the Covert
Din and Grogu return to the covert. Basically the original s3 ep4 with a couple differences.
Ragnar’s Creed ceremony, the giant crocodile, and Din’s dramatic entrance from the canon s3 ep1 is moved here.
Bring in the concept of the foundling/apprentice ranking here. The Armorer addresses Ragnar as “Apprentice Ragnar” during the ceremony, implying that swearing the Creed is akin to a graduation ceremony going from apprentice to full Mandalorian.
Din is welcomed back to the covert with open arms, and Grogu is introduced to the other Mandos. Everyone is really happy for Din and excited when he says Mandalore is not exactly habitable, but also not completely inhabitable.
Grogu’s training scene versus Ragnar stays. Din is the one who helps Grogu put on the little dart shooter. Din calls Grogu his ward, but we’re going to elaborate on why Grogu isn’t his son officially yet. When Ragnar asks why Grogu doesn’t wear a helmet, Din says he can’t talk and is too young to swear the Creed and become an apprentice, so he is still a foundling. This makes it a little clearer why Grogu isn’t officially Din’s son, and adds some Mando worldbuilding.
Optional: Ragnar is referred to as “Paz Ragnar” or something to establish the naming convention. (Unless Djarin truly is his given name. But I’m ignoring it. He’s always Din to me.) “Apprentice Paz Ragnar” in the ceremony?
Ragnar is still captured by the shriek hawk, but this is the first time this has happened. Shriek hawk might have attacked before, but it’s never carried off a child. (Literally all you have to do is just cut the line "it always gets away" or replace it with “it got away” because really??)
Paz chases after shriek hawk, jet pack runs out of fuel, but fortunately Din/other Mandalorians bring the bigger Mandalorian ship, pick him up. (And give him more jetpack fuel.)
They all immediately go to fight the shriek-hawk at its nest, fight goes down like it did in canon and Din saves Ragnar. Paz is grateful.
They still bring in the baby shriek-hawks because lol. Maybe drop the foundling joke though since it made it sound like they were sentient.
Grogu still gets his rondlet and processes his Order 66 trauma. Ahmed Best still saves him in a flashback.
Also, fit in as many small moments of Paz/other Mandos character development as possible. By the end of this episode we should have at least a character sketch for a few other Mandos besides Paz and the Armorer.
End stinger: Pirates attack Nevarro, Greef sends out distress signal, tries to contact New Republic.
Teva gets message, Zeb cameo
Episode 8: Defending Nevarro
Basically the original s3 ep5, but bigger and better.
Teva goes to New Republic, they turn him down.
Teva tracks R5-D4, shows up at the Mandalorians’ compound.
Din and covert peeved, Din negotiates.
Din wants to help Greef, and also remembers Greef offered him a protection gig/land. Realizes this will solve the issue of being constantly attacked by wildlife.
The group meeting/holding the speaking hammer scene.
Din points out that Greef offered him a tract of land, and that sounds a lot better than a place where giant creatures almost eat their foundlings. Basically his canon speech.
Mandalorians go to Nevarro, wipe out the pirates in as much glorious carnage as Disney will let us get away with. These action sequences take up a third to a half of the episode.
Optional: Mandos ride the baby shriek hawks in battle. (The babies are trying their best, but they haven’t quite gotten the hang of it yet, for some comic relief.)
Optional: Din uses the darksaber. He has gotten a lot better at wielding it. (Because he believes in himself and what he’s doing now.)
Pirates are defeated, Nevarro is grateful, Mandalorians take up new job as protectors of Nevarro.
End stinger: Teva ship scene, Gideon escaped, there’s beskar on the ship oh no!
Switch to Gideon looking menacing and accepting a holocall from the lead pirate. Reveal that Gideon hired pirates. Pirates tell Gideon they failed to take Nevarro and they’re mad that Gideon didn’t tell them the planet was defended by Mandalorians. Gideon furious, stalks off from holocall dramatically, pan out a bit and we get a glimpse of the facility/beskar troopers/Gideon clones.
Season 4: Bo-Katan and Mandalore (but Din and Grogu are still the main characters)
Mostly about Bo-Katan, darksaber drama, reuniting Mandalorians. Gideon is main antagonist. Din is still the main character most of the time, but occasionally Bo takes over to further the main plotline.
Episode 1: Bo-Katan enters the chat
loosely based on canon s3ep3
We open with Bo-Katan in her childhood home. (possibly still on her depression throne lol but it’d also probably be good to see what she does with herself all day). Bonus points if there’s some kind of family portrait in the background that features Bo, Satine, and their parents. (and/or the theoretical third sister that birthed Korkie lol).
Optional: Have a moment where Bo actually looks at the painting wistfully to indicate where her head’s at.
She gets an alert of invading ships, takes off in her own ship to fight them. An action scene of dogfighting ships ensues.
They bomb/destroy her castle.
Furious, Bo-Katan chases after them, but realizes they are based on Mandalore and their forces are huge.
Reluctantly, very frustrated, decides to retreat.
We switch to Nevarro. Establishing shots. Nevarro is thriving even more than the last time we saw it. Trade is bustling, more infrastructure. Mandalorians roam the street freely. Some are patrolling / being security, others are just there to shop/chill/socialize. Relationships are friendly.
Last establishing shot zeroes in on the Mandalorian land. Also busy and thriving. Children are playing in the sunlight…including Grogu. :)
When I say playing, I mean they’re totally sparring with and beating the crap out of each other because they’re Mandalorian kids.
Grogu has also gotten a lot better in combat, and despite being tiny the other kids respect him as an equal. Grogu is thriving and seems much more at home than he did with the Jedi kids at Luke’s school.
Optional: Grogu and Ragnar are rivals/besties.
Camera moves over to Din and Greef chatting about a growing threat. A larger group such as the Crimson Dawn / a new original crime syndicate is considering making a move on Nevarro since Nevarro is becoming even more of a wealthy trade hub and insists on maintaining its independence from the New Republic given how badly the NR failed them last time.
Optional: the new syndicate is somehow led by Hondo Ohnaka, because that would be hilarious (although that also has the potential to ruin tension if not handled well.)
Din is a little concerned that if the enemy syndicate makes a move, they have enough numbers to possibly overwhelm the Mandalorians.
They are interrupted by an alert of a rapidly approaching invading spaceship that isn’t following landing protocol.
Din and other Mandalorians jetpack off and/or rush to ships (yes, they have multiple ships now. More signs of growth.) to shoot it down, but Din gets a call from Bo-Katan. She’s the one in the ship, she’s homeless, there’s tons of bad guys on Mandalore, and she has nowhere else to go since her forces abandoned her and Din is her last friend.
(It’s not weird that she knows where Din/Mandalorians are. It’s public knowledge they’re on Nevarro.)
They let her land in Mandalorian territory. Her ship is badly damaged. (Maybe we see some Mando mechanics swarm to fix it!)
On Bo-Katan’s ship, we see Bo-Katan pause and think for a moment. She dons her helmet before disembarking to talk to the Mandos. (Din might comment on this later, and Bo-Katan says she thought it would help her case and get them to trust her. Din says that was probably a good idea.)
The Armorer points out that she’s not really a true follower of the Way, but because she saved Din’s life last season she is welcome to live among them.
From there the episode pivots to a slice-of-Mandalorian-life story. Bo-Katan, with Din as a guide since he’s the only one she’s sort of friends with, realizes that the covert she dismissed as a cult is actually not that bad.
They accepted her, in contrast to the forces that “melted away.”
At the start of the episode, the other covert members are passive-aggressive against Bo-Katan since she is an apostate. By the end of the episode, as Bo-Katan grows to appreciate the covert’s ways, they grow to appreciate her and her ways. Mutual respect!
She notices that Din is not even the leader of his group despite owning the darksaber and Din reinforces that he and his people could not care less about the fancy sword. Honor and loyalty are more important.
Optional: Since Din is friends with Greef he is basically the group’s diplomat (and/or military leader?) while the Armorer is social/political/religious leader. Din defers to her.
More Mandalorian worldbuilding. Have some of the Mando characters we met last season interact with Bo and/or Din so they are fleshed out a bit more.
Optional: Paz Vizsla and Bo interaction. Do they have beef? Do they get along? Idk I just want Bo to react to seeing a Vizsla and vice versa
Bo-Katan has more large-scale military experience than anyone in the covert does, so she ends up contributing some ideas to better defend Nevarro against the enemy syndicate.
Grogu gets another piece of armor (vambrace?). Din is very proud of Grogu. We should get lots of little cute father-son moments threaded through the episode.
Optional: The Armorer is starting to sketch out some helmet concepts for Grogu
Optional: Grogu is clearly going to start talking soon, tries to say “This is the Way” when everybody else says it.
The enemy syndicate attacks. Partly thanks to Bo-Katan’s contributions, the Mandalorians successfully fight them off despite being vastly outnumbered.
Optional: bonus points if Grogu uses the Force to help somehow. More bonus points if Ragnar is also helping defend a bit.
Optional: Okay but what if they tasked Grogu (and maybe Ragnar) with defending the younger foundlings while the adults fight the syndicate? Because that would be cute and potentially hilarious. (Ragnar carefully and perfectly fights/shoots enemies. Grogu just yeets them.)
After syndicate is defeated, Bo-Katan feels great. She has actually used her talents for good. She laments if only other Mandalorians could reunite and take back their planet as well as they defended Nevarro.
Like canon, the Armorer notes Bo-Katan needs a repair and they go off in private. Bo-Katan confides she saw a mythosaur. Armorer and Bo-Katan have their “take off your helmet” scene. It’s less weird because it was always clear that Bo-Katan was wearing the helmet more out of a nicety than a belief. The Armorer tells her she has walked both worlds, and seeing the mythosaur likely signals a new age for Mandalore.
The Armorer believes that Bo’s goal of taking back Mandalore, especially now that they know the planet isn’t deadly, is worthwhile. Reuniting with other Mandalorians sounds like a good idea (especially since she and the rest of the covert now see that Bo is not the traitorous apostate they thought her and other outsiders to be).
The whole helmetless walk is the same as canon, but at the end of it, Din asks Bo if she wants the darksaber for her quest.
Bo-Katan very much wants the darksaber, but she can’t accept. (This is practically a running joke by this point.)
Well since Din has the darksaber, does she want him to help her in her mission? Din does owe her a favor since she saved his life. (And Din lives for side quests to help his friends.)
Bo-Katan accepts.
I do see that this episode runs the risk of being a little repetitive from the new s3 finale. To differentiate, this episode’s fights should be more aerial/dogfight based since they have more ships. Also a great opportunity to show off some cool new ship models, now at a toy store near you.)
Episode 2: Din and Bo vs Axe
basically the canon s3ep 6. Was it silly? Yes. But I liked it fine, and I’m here for major plot beats. This whole show has been built on fun filler-y adventures.
Maybe clarify what the heck Christopher Lloyd’s motive was though.
Anyway at the end of the episode Bo confronts Axe Woves. Axe says his whole thing about Din not being Mandalorian and not having a drop of Mandalorian blood in his veins.
Bo-Katan defends Din same as canon
Optional: Maybe also says that Din is far more Mandalorian than Axe is.
Din challenges Axe to a duel. Axe laughs and is like, you’re not Mandalorian, you can’t challenge me to a formal duel.
Optional: Din lights up  the darksaber, but Bo stops him.
Bo-Katan says, fine, then since you’re too much of a coward to fight him I challenge you on his behalf.
Axe accepts.
Din offers her the darksaber for the fight, but Bo-Katan turns him down.
Optional: “I don’t need that thing to take this insert Star Wars slur here down.”
Bo-Katan wipes the floor with Axe.
Then one of two options:
Option A: Din hands Bo Katan the darksaber with the same weak excuse as in canon (but since we’ve seen him repeatedly trying his best to get rid of it, this isn’t out of nowhere.)
Option B: Din mildly says to the whole group that he has the darksaber and he thinks Bo-Katan’s pretty great actually. And if they really need the darksaber to convince them of leadership, then that makes him their leader as the owner of the darksaber, and he’s putting Bo-Katan as his second in command so listen to her.
The other Mandalorians (possibly a little reluctantly) are now on Bo-Katan’s side, as is their giant fleet.
Episode 3A: Side Quest Shenanigans
a fun adventure-y episode where Din+Grogu go on a side quest in order to track down a third Mandalorian group. (Or a flex episode if the runtime for one of the others goes too long and needs to be split)
Optional: Bonus points for going to a planet we’ve never seen before
Optional: Bonus points for introducing fun new one-off side characters
Optional: Bonus points for introducing new alien species
Optional: Bonus points for another space whale cameo
Din succeeds in his quest and gets coordinates for the Mandalorian group.
or
Episode 3B: It’s flashback time
Kind of a bottle episode with Din, Grogu, and some young Din flashbacks.
A third Mando group has made contact. Bo-Katan’s busy doing leader-y things / organizing the fleet so she’s sending Din to go meet them, and Din of course is bringing Grogu.
Another reason why Bo is sending Din specifically is that he has been to Mandalore and can attest that the planet is relatively habitable.
Optional: Yet another reason is because this third group possibly fought with her before and they don’t really trust her. Din’s going to be her hype man.
flashbacks reveal more about Din’s upbringing. Lots of worldbuilding. Probably a lot of TCW references. And addresses Din’s trainer (father?) and explains a bit more why Din has not formally adopted Grogu yet.
Weave those flashbacks in with Din and Grogu having nice parallel moments
Young Din also fulfills Din’s face reveal quota for the season lol.
End of the episode is them taking off to get the other group.
Episode 4: More Mandos
Din confronts third group of Mandos.
Optional: Bonus points if some Wrens are in the new Mandalorian group. (Probably not Sabine sadly, since she’s probably doing stuff on the Ahsoka show.)
Optional: Bonus points if any other familiar names/characters are included in the new Mandalorian group. Also a good chance for KOTOR easter eggs.
Another good chance for worldbuilding! How is this group similar/different from the two main groups (covert and Axe Woves’ group) that we’ve seen so far?
Din helps them with whatever the problem of the week is.
Din convinces the third group of Mandalorians to join them on Nevarro and take back Mandalore. (It helps that he’s actually been there. He should include that in his speech.)
Grogu continues to be adorable and powerful. Bonus points if he plays with or hangs out with this covert’s kids.
Optional: B plot where Bo does something leader-y.
Episode 5: So many Mandos
Mandos prepare for war. In order to take back Mandalore, all gathered groups of Mandalorians will need to work together.
Optional: Word has spread through the galaxy, and more Mandos have joined them.
The Mandos have amassed a giant fleet but they still need more ships.
Bo-Katan leads Mandos (including Din) to forcefully take ships from the new crime syndicate. We see Bo actually doing a good job of leading the team.
Optional: More quick background bits of characterization for the named Mandos, especially Paz.
After the mission is over and the ships are obtained, Din gives Bo his loyalty speech from canon s3ep7. If Din didn’t give her the darksaber in episode 2, he gives it to her now, and she finally accepts.
Please fit in as many adorable Grogu training montages as possible.
At some point, Din can say goodbye to Greef, and Greef gives him a droid with the yes/no buttons for Grogu.
Optional: The droid is not IG-11, because not enough of IG-11 survived in the first place. So a different kind of droid. I’m thinking something like a BB-8 type model or hollowed-out mind probe droid. It’d basically be a souped-up version of his orb cradle. Granted neither of those models have voice boxes..
Optional: Din informs Greef that most of the Mandos are about to leave, but they’ll leave a group behind to fulfill their defense contract. (Or they’re just leaving/saying goodbye. Now that the syndicate is defeated Nevarro shouldn’t have any major problems.) Greef tells Din to tell Bo that Nevarro and Mandalore officially have an alliance.
Episode 6: Scouting Mandalore
The plot of this episode is putting together a team and then going on a scout mission to figure out who is actually on Mandalore and how many there are. Basically an expanded first half of canon s3 ep7.
Personalities clash, old history is brought up (but somewhat glossed over. Enough that people who have seen TCW/Rebels know what they’re talking about, but a Mandalorian-only watcher still gets the general gist.)
Like canon we do need Grogu to come along for plot reasons, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense for Din to bring him on this incredibly dangerous mission, so we’re going to tweak the scene a bit.
Nobody’s volunteering for the scouting mission, so Din volunteers himself. Then Grogu makes a noise (or stands droid up and pushes the Yes button) indicating he volunteers as well. Din does a panicked double-take.
Axe immediately volunteers next, because he’s not about to be shown up by a not-even-blood-Mandalorian’s not-even-blood-Mandalorian baby. Then Paz volunteers, because he’s not about to be shown up by Axe. Then more people volunteer.
The scout team is a mix from each Mandalorian group. All (or most) of the covert characters we’ve met are on the team.
Din and Grogu have a moment where Din’s like, well you volunteered and you’re partly why everyone else agreed to come, so I guess you’re coming. But be very very very careful.
Back to canon, the scouting mission lands on Mandalore and finds the survivors.
More Mandalore backstory from the survivors. (What happened on Mandalore during/right after the bombing?)
Option A: Part of why the survivors have survived is because after the initial bombings they surrendered/worked for the Empire (out of necessity for survival, to protect their kids, etc.) This causes a lot of outrage from the other groups, especially the third group who probably fought with Bo in Rebels. Bo-Katan admits she has done a lot of wrong things in her past, but she wants to make up for it. And it seems like these survivors do too.
Option B: The survivors are heavily implied to be former New Mandalorians. Which causes a lot of tension between the Armorer/covert and survivors. Bonus points if there’s a line like “Concordia? So you were exiled?”
Either way, it’s about to come to blows. Grogu gets his peacekeeping moment. (If Din says “He didn’t learn that from me,” Bo says “I doubt that.” Or Din just doesn’t say that at all. Like I’m guessing they were trying to imply that’s Grogu’s Jedi training kicking in, but come on, we’ve seen Din be a peacekeeper multiple times.)
Bo-Katan gives her Mandalorians are stronger together speech. She, the Armorer, and the leaders of the other two groups manage to maintain peace.
Since Disney seems to refuse to let the Mandos speak Mandoa, this will have to be in English/Basic. But in in Legends and the Mandoa dictionary, there’s this concept of cin vhetin, or clean slate. It means once you become Mandalorian, you leave your past behind and start fresh and are only judged on what you do from that point onward.
Bo brings up this concept in her speech to the other Mandos. Says something along the lines of, we have all had our differences but in the end we are all Mandalorian. From this point on, we are as one faction, not many.
Also going to add a little addition. “You’ve trained your apprentice well.” “He’s not an apprentice yet.” “Seriously? You’re letting a foundling go on this mission?” Bo giving Din some serious side-eye. Din says nothing but is visibly stressed. Bonus points if it’s somehow mentioned that Din could totally stop him from going on the mission if he was Grogu’s parent. Also, this further illustrates the ranked system and that Din hasn’t adopted Grogu.
By the end of the episode, Mandalorians are united.
Episode 7: The Battle of Mandalore, Part I (Second half of canon s3ep7.)
Pretty much goes like canon, with a little more fleshed out since we have more time. The previous episodes should have done enough work that everything has much more of an emotional impact.
The Armorer bringing the survivors back to the fleet is now a nice character moment that shows the formerly fighting groups are united.
Now when Paz dies, it’s going to feel a lot more meaningful because we’ve built up his character more. (And I do think he should die. As much as I love him, he got the best final stand scene ever and it raised the stakes nicely.)
One tweak though is have Bo’s discussion with Paz about how he should escape with them comes before all the other Mandos have climbed out of the hole. That way it’s more clear that Paz’s sacrifice bought them all enough time to escape.
Din is still captured, we see more of Grogu’s reaction
Optional: Gideon takes off the helmet while Din is captured. I am so happy for Din that it stayed on, but it almost seems out of character to me that Gideon didn’t touch it or any of his armor. It would have been an easy, perfect way to demoralize Din and the other Mandos. Also I know you apparently somehow disabled the weapons in his vambraces but wouldn’t it be easier to just remove the vambraces?? Honestly though the fight scenes are so good I’m cool with overlooking this
Episode 8: The Battle of Mandalore of Mandalore, Part II
canon s3 ep8, pretty much untouched except for a few added shots of the Mando characters we have names for.
I realize the Volume has some limitations, but if we could add a little CGI or a practical effect to make it look like there’s thousands of Mandos gathered around the Forge, that would be great.
Din actually says the word “son” at some point after the adoption.
Now hopefully everything in this episode lands a lot better and has more emotional impact.

A/N: I am so sorry the writing break for this story was so damn long, things just somehow kept getting in the way. So, a quick refresher of what last happened: Alor'ika wants to go to Kuat Drive Yards with Din to look at a potential ship. Boba promised her she could take Slave I and he would teach her how to fly it. She went on a shopping trip with Fennec and teased Boba, so he made her sit on his cock before resuming his entertainment of the court.

Chapter 19 - Lessons, Presents
The hours drag on, and you can not make up your mind if you like how slowly the time passes or not. On the one hand, you are getting impatient, trying your best to sit still so Boba will not get annoyed and send you away- or, Maker forbid, any of the guests find out what you are doing. On the other hand though… you feel fucking incredible.
It is a challenge to stay still, you want to shift and grind and feel Boba’s cock drag against your sensitive walls. The urge grows with every passing minute until your whole body is tingling but at the same time oddly numb- all of your nerve endings seem to be concentrating on that sweet spot where he breaches you, where his cock drags against the fluttering walls of your cunt and fills you up. The threat of getting caught adds another layer to the thrill and you can’t decide if you want to be caught even, just a little bit, or if it would embarrass you.
You think you can feel Din’s eyes burning into you, and you wonder if he has turned on the scan for heat signatures; if he can see the way you burn for Boba, cheeks slightly flushed, and your core aching so sweetly.
It’s not like court has a closing time but you catch yourself squinting at the chrono on the wall more and more as time passes, wondering when Boba will send the people away- if he will send them away or if he will keep you right here on his lap, warming his cock until all the people decide themselves that it is time to leave.
Boba’s hands are all over you, never so obvious in their exploration of your body as to betray your lewd actions to the public eye, but enough that your pussy clenches around him and your breathing gets unsteady. A graze of your tits when he gesticulates, a soft caress of your upper arm, fingers gently squeezing your thigh… He is, as always, a pillar of strength and patience. Only the throbbing of his cock inside you tells you how much restraint it must take for him not to either send the guests away or simply let them watch as he bends you over the throne and completely fucking ruins you.
You sigh and lean back to rest your head on his shoulder, his pauldron digging into your cheek, and when Boba readjusts you, his cock grazes that sweet spot inside you. The muscles in your back tense, and you can not suppress the soft moan that escapes you, his visor tilting toward you, and you can just picture the stern look he is giving you for interrupting his conversation with your lack of restraint- although, thankfully, the bounty hunter he is talking to does not seem to have noticed anything.
“I’m sorry, Sir,” you mumble and Boba nods sharply.
“You are right though,” he says as if you had told him something without words- and you did, he can read you like an open book, how impatient you are getting, your hands fidgeting, and now the improper sound you did not manage to hold back. To your schooled ears though, the strain in his voice is audible. “It is getting late and I promised to teach you to fly the ship so you can leave tomorrow. I’ll send the guests away.”
He types a command into his vambrace and servers appear to announce that all guests, should they be wanting to stay longer, must proceed to the bar as the throne room is closing to the public for tonight. There is some muttering and you vaguely wonder if this is how things are usually done, or if Boba is doing this just for you.
“Djarin!” Boba calls out right when the gleaming silver helmet is about to vanish into the servants’ hallway- it seems even Din’s endless patience is wearing thin after a whole day at court mostly spent in silence. Din’s helmet whips around as he halts in the doorway. No one else is left in the room, the doors hissing and red lights indicating they are locked. Your heart is beating in your throat, your overstimulated cunt fluttering around Boba’s cock when Din’s visor fixates on you.
Boba sighs and takes off his helmet to rest his chin on your shoulder in a gentle motion. His lips move against the shell of your ear when he speaks.
“Shall we invite Djarin to watch?”
You shudder.
“Fuck yes,” you whisper, fresh arousal sweeping through your body at the thought of Din watching you just like he did that first night he arrived, at the thought of finally being allowed release from the ever-building tension in your belly that makes you ache so sweetly. Boba leans back and you flinch when his cock drags along the tender walls of your pussy again.
“Djarin, we’ll meet you in the courtyard in a few minutes if you have the time. I’m teaching my girl how to fly the ship, but it would be good if you knew some of the basics as well.”
Wait, what? That’s not-
Din nods and vanishes into the shadows, the door sliding shut and locking behind him. You twist around and stare at Boba, biting your lip to quiet the breathy sounds that fall from your lips at the movement of him inside you.
“That’s- Boba, you asked if I wanted him to watch! I said yes!”
“Watch me teach you how to fly the ship, obviously,” he rumbles indignantly. “What, did you really think I would reward your impatience by fucking you now? In front of him? I don’t think so, alor’ika.”
You pout, and unable to resist the urge, grind your cunt down against his lap, feeling your arousal seep into the short curls at the base of his cock, soaking him the same way you are. A hand wraps around your throat and squeezes just enough you can not move anymore without cutting off your own air supply.
“That’s enough. I told you not to tease me and you disobeyed. You will wait until I decide what you deserve tonight.”
“But Boba-,” you start but he cuts you off with a simple squeeze of his fingers around your throat.
“When it comes to this, it is my decision. Or have you forgotten who you belong to, alor’ika? Whose rules you obey, whose orders you follow?”
“Yours, Sir,” you whisper quietly. Boba rests his hand on your cheek, his thumb gently tracing your cupid’s bow.
“Good girl.”
Boba groans quietly when your pussy clenches around him and pride blooms in your chest- you are making him feel this way, losing his composure, even just slightly. Boba’s voice is rough when he speaks again.
“I know this day has been long, little one. But you were acting like a brat this morning, so you understand why I am punishing you this way, right?”
“Yes Sir.” You cast your eyes down but Boba hooks his finger under your chin and gently pulls you up until you look at him again.
“Good. I don’t want you to spend our last day before you leave in anger and frustration, but I need you to hold on for a little while longer. I want to take my time with you tonight, take you apart until you can’t walk anymore, make you shatter around me so you’ll still feel my cock inside you while you are away with the Mand’alor. You understand that, don’t you?”
You sigh and nod, and Boba presses his mouth to yours, slipping his tongue between your lips until you gasp and let him in. Your head is already swimming, Boba’s cock twitching inside you and it’s almost enough to make you come after being kept on edge for so long. Boba can feel you tense around him though, and he breaks the kiss to look at you sternly.
“No release for you yet, sweet girl. However…” he trails off and licks his lips. “If you want to make yourself useful, why don’t you climb off my cock and get on your knees for me? I’ll go easier on you later if you behave for me now.”
Your heart stumbles at his words and you want to hurry before he changes his mind, but you can barely move, your feet asleep and your legs like jelly. Boba chuckles and gently helps you up, the squelching sound when you lift off his cock making your cheeks burn.
Sinking to your knees, you lean forward to take Boba’s leaking cock into your mouth. You can taste yourself on him, sweet and tangy when you lick up his length. He grips your head, holding you gently as he stares down at you, pupils blown out with lust and burning desire.
You close your lips around him and hollow your cheeks, Boba’s fingers digging into your skull as you start bobbing up and down. His eyes become unfocused but you keep your gaze on him nonetheless- you know how much he likes it when you look at him like that.
“Hmm good girl, sucking my cock like that… I can see how much you get off on this- fuck, you want to just slide your hand between your legs and take care of that aching pussy, don’t you, sweet girl? Feel how much I stretched you out, how you’re gaping from taking my cock- Bet your pretty little pussy is fluttering just from hearing me talk like that…”
Spit drips from your mouth, trickling down your tits, seeping into the fabric of your corset but you can not bring yourself to care about the mess you are making, too engrossed in the feeling of Boba sliding in and out of your mouth, too eager to please him and bring him the release he has denied you.
“That’s it- osik, keep doing that,” he groans when you swirl your tongue around the tip of his cock and gently cup his balls with your hand. His legs are trembling ever so slightly, his hand on your head pulling at you lightly and you take him deeper again, relishing in the sensation of the velvety hardness against your tongue, of his soft praise ringing in your ears. You hum around him and Boba goes rigid, groaning out your name as he comes down your throat, his hand cramping in your hair.
You pull away to swallow his release, finally sitting back and wiping your mouth while he looks down at you with gentle eyes.
“You did so good for me, mesh’la. Such a good girl, and you are learning to swallow it all, I’m so proud of you.”
Your cunt flutters and a smile spreads on your face when Boba pulls you up to hold you tight against his chest.
“Thank you, Boba,” you whisper and when you tilt your face up, he kisses you without hesitation, a sweet slide of his tongue against yours before he starts peppering little kisses all across your face and you burst out into a fit of giggles. Eventually, he releases you from his warm embrace and your heart aches when you think about the fact that you are leaving tomorrow. As much as you fought to go, the thought of actually leaving Boba, even if it is just a few days- a week at most- feels impossible. Boba tugs lightly on your hand.
“Come on. We can’t keep Djarin waiting for too long.”
*****
Din is leaning against the ship when you step into the courtyard, your hand still intertwined with Boba’s. He pushes away from the metal wall without a word and follows you up the ramp.
“Aren’t you gonna ask what took us so long?” Boba teases, an obnoxious challenge in his voice and you elbow him in the side.
“Oh, I know,” Din says nonchalantly. “You weren’t as subtle as you thought you were being. Especially not you, sweet girl. I’d know that face you make anywhere.”
“What face?” you inquire, curious although you are already blushing.
“You mean the face she makes when she’s all filled up? With her eyes glazed over where you can just tell how much she loves feeling her perfect little pussy being split open by my cock? That face?” Boba chimes in, his hand squeezing your ass before he plops down in the pilot’s seat and pulls you onto his lap, your back leaning on his broad chest, your legs hooked over his to keep you from sliding down while the seat is still tilted sideways as long as the Slave remains on the ground. Din stands around a bit aimlessly before laying in the co-pilot’s chair.
“Yeah. That face.” His voice is raspy and it makes you shiver, the tension in your body rising steadily from feeling Boba’s strong body against yours, the memory of his cock inside you still so fresh while Din’s eyes burn into you like he can see right through your – admittedly very scanty – clothing.
“Beautiful when she does it, isn’t it?” Boba teases, making your cheeks burn.
“Hey!” you protest and twist around to poke your finger into his chest- not that it does anything against his cuirass except almost breaking your bone. “Don’t talk about me as if I’m not here.”
“Sorry, sarad’ika,” Din mumbles and you shake your head.
“Apology appreciated but I was actually talking to this one here. He sometimes has a tendency to forget that I like to be included. Don’t you, baby?”
Boba grumbles and squeezes your thigh.
“Keep reminding me that I do and maybe I won’t forget in the future.”
You grin. Not exactly an apology, but you are working on it. So is Boba. And that’s good enough for now.
“I will, old man. I’ll make sure you never forget.”
Din chokes slightly at the obvious challenge in your voice, pushing down the laughter that rises in his chest by coughing in a very apparent cover-up. Your giggle bubbles up right alongside him until Boba’s hand closes around your throat.
“Keep testing me, princess. See where it gets you. You are already one punishment deep; you sure you want to take another?”
The sweet, alluring darkness in his voice makes you shudder and press back against him.
“I’ll take anything you give me, Sir.”
Boba chuckles, his fingers squeezing tighter before he lets go of your throat and places his hands on yours.
“Damn fucking right you will… good girl. For now though, let’s focus on the lessons, shall we? If you get into trouble because I didn’t teach you right, I will never forgive myself.” There is a sudden seriousness to his voice that makes your heart ache. You don’t want to leave him. You do want to leave. But not without him- Gods, you wish he could come with you, even though you understand why he can not.
“We’ll be fine,” you promise quietly and Boba’s arm wraps around your waist to hold you tighter. “I’ll always come back to you, my love, just as you promised you would come back to me.”
His fingers squeeze and you know he understands what you are saying. He is just not ready to say it back in front of someone else. There is a slight pause, the quiet clinking of armour when Din shifts in his seat, the shuffling of feet when Boba pulls his seat up so the control stick rests between your legs. The position feels oddly intimate, and if Din had not been sitting right next to you, you are astoundingly sure this lesson would have escalated into something else very, very quickly. Maybe that is the reason Boba invited him along in the first place.
Boba lists all the protocols before you go through the motions, first with his hands guiding your own, then without actually pressing anything just to practise the right order of buttons and levers. Finally, when you are sure you have internalised all the procedures, Boba lets you actually start the takeoff cycle. His hands still hover over yours, Din’s watchful eyes following your movements. You get it right, except for almost switching two buttons, but you catch yourself in time. It helps that you know the mechanical and electrical layout of the ship so well. It also helps that you were a pilot before you ever became a mechanic. The movements come natural to you, they are as familiar as the taste of the ocean on your tongue when you flew too low way back home, dipping into the waves as you shot through the race courses.
The Slave I is not without its oddities and extravagant mechanisms, and you are glad Boba is there to tell you about all of them- some wires crossconnect in very strange and nonsensical ways, but you don’t dare criticise anything about the ship. It is not yours, you are merely tasked with its upkeep, and your suggestions for improvement are always based on what Boba wants. You may find some of the cycles unnecessarily complicated, but if that is the way he has always done it, if that is the way that is familiar to him, you will not drag it through the mud. As long as it works, there is no need to implement new things he does not want.
The feeling of takeoff is exhilarating- it has been much too long since you have actually flown a ship other than the odd quick testdrive of a podracer, or your speederbike. A starship is a whole other calibre, especially the Slave. When the ground tilts, you slide from your awkward half-lying position on Boba’s torso down into his lap, feeling the ship whirl behind you as it sorts out the new gravity levels.
Steering the ship is not easy but you get the hang of it rather quickly, Boba’s hands right there to steady yours so you never feel unsafe as you shoot through the Tatooine night sky. You leave the atmosphere for a short while, just to see what it’ll feel like and because Boba wants to show Din how the blaster cannons and the other weaponry works. He has taken off his helmet and takes over the co-pilot’s chair while Din stands in the back. His stoic and silent presence is both calming and unnerving somehow- if only because you know the next time you are on the ship you will be alone with him, no Boba to teach and guide you.
You practise shooting with some old wreckage and asteroids, you steering while Boba operates the cannons with Din watching. You work amazingly well together in a way that feels so natural, a connection much deeper than you ever knew it could be. It’s like you know where Boba wants you to turn, you can feel it in the way he shifts, at the side glances he gives you from where he sits, in the way he tenses up. And he knows where you will turn next, what maneuver you will try to dodge the asteroids and metal pieces. It is an exhilarating feeling and you whoop happily when a meteor explodes right in front of your eyes and the galaxy is dipped into glittering stars as you steer right through it, the fiery orbs illuminating Boba’s face in the darkness of space. You lean to the side to press a kiss to Boba’s temple but he quickly turns his head so your lips meet his instead. You giggle into him, your heart happier than it has ever been.
“You’re a natural,” Boba comments, a subtle pride in his voice. “You fly her like you were born for it.”
“Maybe it’s because she’s yours,” you reply thoughtfully. “I learned everything about this ship for you, I know her better than I knew the first speeder I built. She feels like you, so familiar somehow.”
Boba’s eyes go warm and gentle then, and your skin burns when he puts his hand on your thigh.
“Djarin,” he calls softly. “Take over the cannons, I want you to practise before we fly back.” He gets out of the seat and stands behind you, his strong hands resting on your shoulders, gently caressing you, a comforting weight as he watches you pilot his ship.
Din sits back down- working in unison with him proves easy as well- it is not the same wordless connection you have with Boba, but a different kind of bond. For a man of such few words, Din proves to be an amazingly effective communicator, and the two of you get the hang of it in no time. Boba’s hands never leave you, their weight never enough to be distracting but enough to remind you of his presence, enough that you know you will carry this memory of him with you whenever you sit in this pilot’s chair. The ride through the stars feels like an eternity and no time at all. You could stay up here forever, among the empty darkness and just fill the void with your love. But Boba’s hands gently remind you that you have to return home, home with him, home and back to bed where he can hold you and hug you so close to him it feels like your body is melting into his.
The landing cycle proves to be much more complicated than take-off, but you manage under Boba’s surprisingly patient guidance. He makes you repeat the cycles and promise to comm him if you are not sure about anything at all. Din has taken the backseat again, a silent companion as you have always known him to be, watching you and Boba interact in a silence that somehow feels… content.
You finally land the ship in the courtyard and lower the ramp. Boba takes your hand in his before you are even out of the cockpit, pulling you along with him while Din hangs back.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, sarad’ika,” he calls and you turn back to wave to him before you step into the elevator. Instead of following you and Boba, Din turns toward the throne room and you distantly wonder where he is going, but then Boba’s hands pull you out of the elevator and push you up against the wall of your apartment and all thoughts are forgotten when his hungry mouth meets yours.
“You looked so good piloting my ship,” he murmurs into your mouth and you moan when you feel his thick thigh slotting between your legs, bringing delicious friction to your aching core. “I was hard the whole fucking time even though you’d just sucked me off.”
“Gods, Boba,” you whimper. His hands slide up to your tits, impatiently tugging down your corset until your breasts spill over the top. Boba’s lips latch onto them, and the contact of his hot mouth with your chilly skin makes your brain short-circuit. The denied pleasure of the evening still sits deep in your bones- it was not edging, not in the traditional sense, not in the sense Boba had used as a punishment before. It was… keeping you on a simmer. Never getting you close enough but keeping the flame lit just so. You can still taste him in your mouth, feel the velvet of his cock slide against your tongue if you think really hard, feel his fingers pressing into your thigh as you steer his ship.
“You did so well, such a talented little pilot. I’m so proud of you.”
“Thank you,” you moan, your eyes slipping closed when he moves his leg to grind against your core, his lips wrapped around your nipple.
“Maybe I’ll forget about the punishment. Having you sit on my cock and be patient was enough, I think. Are you going to forget your place again or have you learned your lesson, alor’ika?”
“No, no I won’t forget again, Sir,” you cry out and Boba lifts you up, his mouth pressing to yours as he carries you over to the bedroom.
“Good girl. Now… let’s make sure your pussy doesn’t forget what I feel like while you are gone.”
Boba places you on the bed, so much gentler than you expected him to, with so much care as though he is afraid he’ll break you if his touch is too harsh. You sit up on your elbows to look up at him expectantly and are taken aback by the expression on his face. He looks so… lost. So unsure, all the cockiness from just a minute ago gone from his face.
“Hey,” you say gently and stretch out your hand to take his. “Hey, what’s the matter, baby? You okay?”
Boba stands there, his arms hanging awkwardly by his side and you almost get up to wrap yourself around him, but just then he drops to his knees before you and buries his face against your belly.
“I don’t want you to go.” His voice is muffled and quiet, so different from the collected confidence you are used to. Boba sounds… like a little kid that is scared of being left all alone in the world. Your heart aches, because you can feel he is not saying this with any malice- he is not mad you are leaving, nor does he want to convince you to stay. He just wants to voice his feelings. Your eyes well up with tears, this is so much more than you ever thought you could have with him. You scoot down the bed a little until his arms rest on your thighs, his face pressed into your chest while his hands cling onto your waist. Gently, you wrap your arms around him and rub soothing circles over his broad back.
“I know, baby. I don’t want to leave you. I know I said I wanted to go and… I still do. I really want to go. But leaving you here- Maker, I didn’t think it would hurt so much.” You take a deep breath and push down the tears. “You know I will come back to you, right? You know that. I’ll come back as quickly as I can, nothing bad is going to happen to me- to us. I have Din with me and you are here, in the palace, with Fennec as a watchful pair of eyes. We’ll only be apart for a few days. I know it’ll feel like an eternity, and I dread being without you more than I can express, my love. But we can’t… we can’t trust that we will always be able to go everywhere together. If we are really going to do this, there may be some instances where I have to travel, or you do. We’ll go together as often as possible, but when it’s not possible, it’s just not. And we have to be okay with that, we have to be-“
A tear rolls down your cheek. Gods, your heart is breaking at the softness in his body, at this ache and the unbearable sadness that he radiates.
“Nothing bad is going to happen to me,” you repeat. Boba raises his face to stare up at you and your breath hitches at the wet shimmer in his eyes.
“That’s exactly what my father said to me before he-“ Boba breaks off and mumbles something in Mando’a you don’t understand.
“Your father?” you ask, trying not to press him too hard, but to show interest. The few times Boba has mentioned his father in the past, you have gathered that their relationship was… complicated. But you have also gathered that Boba adores his father, maybe even idealises him; from the way he treats his ship, from the refusal to change the name to paying exorbitant sums of money for its upkeep. And then that shrine in his rooms…
“Jango.” The word sounds like a curse and a prayer all in one. “That was his name.”
“Do you want to tell me about him?”
Boba sighs and gets up, sitting on the bed next to you and pulling you into his lap.
“Some other time. I promise. But… not tonight. Too many bad memories. And- you shouldn’t have to spend the last night before you go away listening to me ramble on about my father and all the reasons I want to hate him but can’t. It’s not fair to you.”
“Fair to me?” you repeat and look up at him with raised eyebrows. “How is that not fair to me?”
“You are leaving,” Boba points out as though it is obvious. “Tonight should be all about you.”
“I’m leaving, but you are the one that will stay behind,” you mumble. “I will have an exciting journey ahead while you will be the one who is left to wait- just like I was when you went away. I’ll let you guess which part is harder to play.”
Boba stares at you like this idea has not even entered his mind, of being the passive one, the one in wait, the one left behind. He can’t be used to it- how could he be? You don’t mean to pat yourself on the back but you don’t think he’s had anything remotely close to what you two have before now. Neither have you, but you have lived a very different life than he has and so your reactions to this… attachment, they are much different from his. In the beginning he seemed reluctant, almost scared to let this become anything more, and you can feel that now that he has let it happen, he is afraid it will break, afraid you will lose each other.
“Can you just hold me?” you ask quietly and cuddle closer into his chest. “Hold me, kiss me. Let me forget I’ll be away from you tomorrow night. Kiss me until the heat of your mouth lingers on mine even when I’m in hyperspace without you.”
“You say such beautiful things,” Boba murmurs, his thumb stroking your cheek.
“I say them because you- you make me feel… so much. And I say them because they’re all true. I mean every word and I think you need to hear that sometimes.” You lean into his touch and close your eyes.
Boba nuzzles his face into your shoulder and if you didn’t know any better you would think you can see a hint of blushing embarrassment on his cheeks.
“I do,” he mumbles. “I do need to hear it. I can’t believe that you… Let me ask you something, princess. Why does a young, pretty girl like you want to be with an old and broken man like me? What is it about me that you lo- that you like?”
Your skin tingles. Insecurity is never what you expect. Boba always seems so confident, so comfortable in his own skin and around everyone else. These small glimpses of him, these little fractures no one else ever gets to see make you love him even more. The fact that he feels comfortable revealing himself to you so completely speaks louder than anything else he could ever say or do to prove his love to you. You stay silent for a long time, then sit up straighter so you can look him in the eye as you answer.
“I… You are not broken, my love. You have been through so much and you are still alive. That makes you whole. I cannot begin to imagine what you have been through, I know that. But… there is still so much good in you. You are good, you are trying to be. You freed the slaves when you came here, that is the first thing I actively remember about you. I had heard stories of you, of the great exploits of Boba Fett, and I was intrigued. When I came here to apply, and I saw all the slaves were gone, it was decided. I would not have stayed if you had kept them. I remember thinking it a strange act of kindness for a man of your reputation.”
You hesitate. The truth. Hard to understand, harder yet to express. “I- I was attracted to your power at first. The way you moved, how you presented yourself. How you could command a room, command me. I would have done anything you asked from the start because of this… this overwhelming power you hold within you. Now… that is still a part of it. But I genuinely started to like you when I got to know you better. The way you care so deeply about your ship. The small interactions with Din. How you treat me, always with kindness and respect except when I ask you not to. A person like you is rare, Boba. I have never met anyone like you. In… in the beginning, I would have done anything you asked out of desire. Now, I would do it out of love.”
Boba stares at you with wide eyes, nostrils flaring. You can feel his chest expand against yours with deep breaths while the rest of him is still as a statue. His heart beats faster than it usually does, you can feel it thumping against your own breast as you twist to straddle him so you can press closer, his hands around your waist while yours interlace behind his neck.
“Such beautiful things,” he whispers finally and when he leans forward to capture your lips in a kiss, it is the softest he has ever been.
“I mean them,” you whisper back. “I will say them as often as you want to hear them, I will say them until you believe me without the shadow of a doubt. I love you, Boba.”
He sighs into you, deepening the kiss, his tongue licking into your mouth until you are breathless and taste him on yourself even when he finally leans back and starts fiddling with the leather band around his neck, the one that holds that strange skull pendant that looks like the crest on his pauldron. He holds it out and fixates you with serious eyes.
“I want you to have this. Take it with you, and if anything bad happens, if anyone dares to touch you or threaten you, you show this to them and tell them who gave it to you.”
You lean forward to let Boba tie the necklace around your neck, and he hooks his fingers into the leather band to pull you closer again and press his lips to yours.
“Do you accept?” he asks and you are taken aback for a second- you are already wearing it, how could you not accept?
“Of course,” you whisper and close your hand around the cool metal that dangles between your chest and his. “Thank you.”
When you undress, your movements are not driven by frenzied desire, but the intense need to feel his skin against yours, to hold him as close as you possibly can. He hovers above you, slipping his fingers into your pussy while whispering sweet nothings into your ear, sweet nothings that mean everything to you. My princess, can’t wait for you to come back to me, I’m so proud of you, you did so well today, my little pilot steering my ship like she was made for it… You’re gonna come back to me, you’ll be safe, you’ll have Djarin to protect you and you’re gonna come back, I’ll miss you, ner kar’ta… Ni kar’tayli gar darasuum…
When his cock slides into you, dragging along your still-sensitive walls, you gasp, the sweet stretch of him unforgettable and yet surprising every time. You wrap your legs around him and pull him deeper into you, your eyes rolling shut when he starts moving. Boba is unusually gentle, but deep and thorough, filling you up so completely that it doesn’t take long until you start to tremble, your pussy fluttering around him as you gasp into his mouth.
“Come for me, princess,” he murmurs, “Let me feel that perfect pussy clench around me before you go, leave me with the memory of you on my cock, with your eyes on me, staring up at me like that as I fill you up…”
Your orgasm is no overwhelming crash, instead it is languid and sweet, taking over your entire body until you are shaking and trembling and can barely think anymore. Boba keeps shallowly thrusting into your soaked cunt, praise falling from his lips until he curses and you feel him spill himself deep inside you, eyes pressed shut before he collapses onto you.
You giggle when you shove him until he rolls over, pulling you with him until you are laying on top of him, cheek resting on his warm chest, legs caught between his thighs, your belly pressed against his.
“Will you wake me up to say goodbye before you go, alorika?” he asks and you nod, softly kissing a trail up his chest, his throat, until your lips meet his again.
“Of course.” You roll off of him, Boba melting into your backside, one arm under your head as a pillow while the other sneaks up to your breasts and closes around your new pendant. He plants a sweet kiss on the side of your neck and you smile.
“Goodnight, little one,” he whispers, so softly you think you could have dreamed it.
“Goodnight, Boba.”

Ooo unhinged prompt ideas….to celebrate….um…. Reader/outsider pov bobadin or bobadinnec? Maybe accidental voyeurism?
Thank youuuu!! <3 this one was fun to write, and takes place in my mesh network series, which is a boba x din x fennec x f!reader fic. enjoy!! (693 words)
Prompt 2/30 finished! Keep sending me prompts!
You didn’t even know what you were doing here. The gym was where the others went. Usually, you were more interested in the huge computer center you called your office, while your room was being renovated to fit a permanent workstation. Sometimes, you saw one or more of them in the gym, spotting each other, running alongside one another on the treadmill, or even climbing the rockwall that had been installed a few weeks ago. The most physical exercise you got was morning yoga with Boba and all the dirty activities you got up to around the penthouse.
So you didn’t have much need for the gym. Your sweethearts gave you enough cardio as it was.
But this time, something compelled you to turn left instead of right, to make you look in on the space. And through all the equipment, you noticed a shoe. It was Fennec’s shoe. Normally, she kept everything very neat in her room, down to her immaculate shoe closet. To see one single trainer out of place was probably what made your unconsciousness perk up. You twisted the handle on the door and silently made your way in.
You could hear the sauna running in the corner of the room but couldn’t see through the steamy glass door. You approached the offending shoe, and saw another strange thing nearby: Boba’s watch. You didn’t know much about the value of his things, but every one of them screamed nice to you. He usually treated his things with more respect. You picked it up and held it in your hand, the smooth, perfect links of metal a stark contrast to the jumble of confused thoughts in your head.
A voice cried out from the sauna. Fennec.
You weren’t worried. You knew that noise. It brought a flush to your cheeks to even hear it, like it did every time. You quietly crept forward, staying out of sight from the front door of the sauna and peeking in through one of the slit-windows on the side where you could be concealed.
As the steam moved around the room, you could get a greater picture of what was happening. Fennec and Boba sat on the bench together, locked in a naked embrace, kissing passionately as he pinched and pulled at her nipples. This close, you could hear the softer sounds she was making, the ones she only made for Boba. You nearly swooned with unfiltered lust. On his knees was Din, between Fennec’s legs and buried face-first in her pussy. One of her hands was in his hair, hanging on with a pulsing, white-knuckle grip that must have been driving him wild.
And Boba was looking at you.
Your breath hitched, frozen in place and eyes widening. Caught.
Boba smirked, and pushed his hand into Fennec’s hair, loose for once and in waves across her shoulders. She looked like Godiva, in the few pictures you’d seen from Boba’s art books. She was receiving a holy order, from Din’s lips and Boba’s hands, enraptured between them. Boba didn’t call you out on your peeking. Instead, he smirked, and made Fennec bare her throat for him to suck mean, biting kisses into.
You’d initially been hesitant and concerned about the violence they brought into their lovemaking. They never hurt you, only encouraged you to push your limits. This was nails in thighs and throbbing scalps and bruised flesh, this was unadulterated, primal pleasure they took from one another. Saturnalia. Ritual sacrifice. Blood on an altar. They were it. They were appeasing gods long dead with this show, and you bore witness, frozen in place.
Fennec’s voice sharpened, growing louder as her body bowed in pleasured contortion. She came beautifully, and you had to bite down on your lip so hard it bled onto your tongue. Blood sacrifices, indeed. As she shook in the come-down, Boba murmured an order to Din, who groaned into the crease of Fennec’s hip, finally allowed his own release. Boba locked eyes with you again through the window, jerking himself off until he covered his hands in his spend.
He dismissed you with a subtle nod, and you slipped away.

UUHHH CHAPTER FIFTEEN WHEN THEY’RE IN THE BASE AND INSTEAD OF MAYFIELD ITS READER OWO
ASFJK THIS IS A GOD TIER CONCEPT
(For my longtime readers - this does not take place in my regular Mandalorian x Jedi! Reader series.)
Brown Eyes - Din Djarin x Reader
Tumblr media
This had been a bad idea from the start.
You knew Din would do anything to get the kid back - hell, you would. But still... walking into an Imperial base? With the Mandalorian, aka the king of overreactions? Yeah. Didn’t think so.
But you had agreed, all the same. They - he, and Fennec, and Cara - had needed you. You were an ex-Imperial, something the Mandalorian had worked very hard to reconcile himself to... and you would like to think that he had. After all, the two of you had been together now for two months.
But you still hadn't seen his face.
Not that you expected to, ever. It was a constant ache for you - all you wanted was to rip off the helmet and see what he looked like underneath. You’d tried, a few times, while he was asleep - being the sneaky Imperial that you still sort of were. But every time, you’d found a blaster rifle being lowered under your chin, and you’d groan and know you were caught. So by this point, you had pretty much given up on ever knowing what he looked like. And it didn’t... really matter. You were pretty - at least, he said so - but you didn’t want a partner who was only physically attractive. Years in the Empire had taught you that looks didn’t matter much. What matters is what is underneath.
And oh, you wanted to see what was underneath so badly.
But you resolved not to bring it up now. The Mandalorian was shaken - he’d realized he couldn’t send you in alone, it was too heavily guarded. And no one else could go with you, or their faces would match with the scanner.
So he had elected to go.
“Well,” you said, watching Din awkwardly step toward you, wearing a light stormtrooper suit, “If it’s any consolation, you look great.” He groaned, and you realized, strikingly, it was the closest you had ever come to hearing his real voice. Imperial helmets were nowhere near as heavy as Beskar.
You opened the door of the vehicle, climbing into the driver’s seat. Din had sat beside you, looking very unsure of himself.
And so, you drove.
Drove on, and on, for minutes that felt like hours, past endless fields of sand. You wished he’d talk to you, but you knew he was only thinking about two things: One, the Child, and Two, how stupid he looked. Din Djarin might have been one of the most dangerous men in the galaxy, but he was a lot more insecure than the rest of them.
“You doing okay?” “...Yes.” A short answer. But, still, an answer.
“I’m going to take my helmet off,” you said, quietly, and looked at him, as if for approval. You didn’t really know why - he’d seen your face before, of course. So you pulled it off, shaking your hair out. “Dank ferrik, it’s impossible to breathe in it - especially when it’s so kriffing hot-”
“Language,” he chided, out of habit, and he turned around to look at the Child. Before realizing, of course, that he wasn’t there, and no amount of wishing or regretting would bring him back. You knew, in that moment, that you had to keep Din distracted. You just had to.
“Hey,” you intoned, tapping him on the shoulder. “Hey, tell me about...” You swallowed.
“What you look like.” Oh, that distracted him, all right.
“C’mon, don’t clam up.” “We’ve talked about this before.” “Not enough. I can’t picture you.” He sighed.
“Unmemorable. Dark hair. I hardly ever shave.”
“Tell me more.” “That’s all there is.” “Eye color?” He hesitated.
“I... I can’t.” “Why?” “The spirit of the Creed is that no one knows what I look like. That’s why we’re not meant to take off our helmets.” “Yeah? Well, guess what? You just took off your helmet.” “...What?” “You did! You took off your Mandalorian helmet and put on a trooper’s.” “This is... different.” “How so?”
“It just is.” You snorted.
“Yeah, it is because you say it is.”
“Why is this upsetting you?” “Oh, I don’t know - maybe I find it the least bit upsetting that the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, won’t... won’t even tell me what color his eyes are!”
He was silent.
“You... you want to spend the rest of your life with me?” “Of course I do, I-I love you.” You reached over and patted his helmet, awkwardly, wishing you could ruffle his hair. You tried to withdraw your hand, and he held it.
“I’m sorry,” he said. “I’m sorry.” In that moment, you knew he was saying ‘sorry’ for a lot of things. Sorry for the life you could never have, things he couldn't give you. But you never wanted any of those things. You just wanted him.
“Control, this is Juggernaut Three, we might be coming up on some interference-”
“Control! Control!”
That was the exact second that everything went to hell.
The vehicles around you began to explode, and the communicator began filled with the sounds of screaming.
“If the rhydonium is still stable-” the Mandalorian said, trying to keep you calm.
“Juggernaut Five, maintain speed and course... proceed with caution-”
"Proceed with caution?” you shouted, irritably, remembering exactly why you hated the Empire. And, also, the genocides, and all that bad stuff. “Is she serious?”
A group of alien pirates showed up on your control screen, and Din grabbed his blaster.
“Are you seriously shooting a blaster near that rhydonium, Djarin?” You hollered.
“They have thermal detonators.” “Oh, terrific.”
“Just keep it steady.” “Just keep them off us!” Din lobbed one of the thermal detonators back at them. “They’re trying to blow the rhydonium!” “Oh, you think? Damn it, Din, you should’ve left me in the cell where you found me-”
And, right then, Din’s blaster ran out, and you felt one of the pirates go under the vehicle, then another. You stuck your head out the window.
“L/N! Pick it up! Drive faster!”
You glanced at the fuel level.
“I don’t think faster’s a good idea!”
Panicked, you hit the brakes. “What are you doing-”
The sounds of a fight commenced, and you glanced outside to keep an eye on Din while keeping the speed low, and -
Wow. They almost had his helmet off.
Until, thank the Maker, you supposed, the Mandalorian fought them off, and the barge went out in an explosion. You couldn’t help but think about how close you had come.
“Uh-h-h... Mando, I have to stop - I can’t cross at this speed-” Oh, great. More pirates - and TIE fighters.
“Never thought I’d be happy to see stormtroopers,” you muttered, and he glanced over at you. He knew what the Empire had put you through, and he was conscious of what you had to live with.
You steered the vehicle into the bay, dodging crowds of congratulatory stormtroopers when you realized you had left your helmet on the ship. Wouldn’t be a problem, you supposed. No one here would know your face.
“Okay,” you said, calmly, and quietly. “Now... all we have to do is find a terminal - it’s probably in the officer’s mess.”
It indeed was.
“There it is,” you said, nodding to him.
“Good luck.” You turned to go in, and locked eyes with someone - oh, kriff. You spun around, back to Din, secretly wishing you could run back to the ship.
“...I can’t go in there.” “Why not?”
Din Djarin’s famous impatience was showing.
“That’s Valin Hess.” “Who?” “Valin Hess. I used to serve under him.” “Will he recognize you?”
“...I don’t know. I was just a field operative, but I’m not taking the chance.” You looked up at him, feeling ashamed. “It’s over.”
He stopped you.
“Let’s just do this quick, and we can get out of here.”
“I can’t do it, okay? We have to abort - I’m sorry.”
Sorry.
The same word Din had thrown back at you earlier.
He stopped you again.
“No, I can't. If we don’t get those coordinates, I’ll lose our kid forever... give me the data stick.”
“It’s not gonna work,” you confided. “In order to access the network... the terminal has to scan your face.” You swallowed. You felt awful about doing this to him, really. You wanted to be there, you’d do anything for him. But the idea of facing Hess again was too much. And besides, it wasn’t just because of you. If Hess recognized you, Din would be sent to prison too - maybe even executed. You tugged on his sleeve.
“Let’s go, Din.”
“Give it to me.” “What?”
He grabbed it out of your hand, and you stood, stunned, watching as he strolled into the room -
And removed his helmet.
You could only see the back of his head, for now, and you sure as hell weren’t looking away. Not while you had him, truly, for the first time. You wanted to remember this - that is, if the two of you got out of here alive.
“Trooper!” Hess shouted to him. “Hey, trooper!”
Kriff, kriff, kriff, kriff -
Din looked to him, and now you could see more, but only in profile.
“Pay attention when a superior addresses you. What’s your designation?” You could see Din gulp. “Transport crew,” he said, without his helmet’s voice modulator, and you were sure it was the most beautiful thing you’d ever heard.
“What?”
“My designation is Transport Copilot.” That voice again.
“No, son. What’s your TK number?” “My TK number... is...” You had to do something. So you ran in, rushing to Din’s side. For the first time ever, you could see how your heights matched up without the armor.
Perfect. As you’d expected.
“This is my Commanding Officer TK-593, sir,” you said quickly, and gave Din a look of reassurance. “I’m Imperial Combat Assault Transport Lieutenant TK-111, sir - I’m afraid you’ll have to speak up to him a little bit, since his vessel lost pressure in Taanab.”
True story, actually. But Din had miraculously survived without the hearing loss.
“What’s your name, Officer?”
Din looked terrified, and you realized, as you stood there, you could really see him. Square jaw. The stubble, as promised - dark hair, too. But his face, not unmemorable, like he said. Beautiful.
Din Djarin - your Din Djarin - was beautiful. Suddenly, you felt queasy for a whole other reason - not nervousness, but a rush of affection.
And... oh.
His eyes. Soulful, and honest, and-
You realized you’d waited too long, given Din a chance to give his name that he had apparently not taken.
“Uh, we just call him Brown Eyes,” you said, quickly. “Isn’t that right, Officer?”
Quietly, you cursed yourself for the answer - you’d been in the Empire. No one would ever have a nickname like that, it was far too affectionate.
But Din looked at you, all the same, and nodded.
“C’mon, let’s go fill out those TPS reports, so we can go recharge the power coils-” “You’re not dismissed.” Din froze. You thought he might have a heart attack, and you really didn’t want to have to drag an unconscious Mandalorian out of an Imperial mess hall.
“You the tank troopers that delivered the shipment of rhydonium?”
“Yes, sir.” “Yes, sir,” Din answered after you, looking to you for affirmation. That voice again. You might be the one to have the heart attack.
“Well, you two managed to be the only transport today to deliver their shipment,” Hess said, placing an affectionate hand on you. Din stiffened. “Come with me, hm? Let’s get a drink... Brown Eyes.” ...
“So,” said Hess, “What shall we toast to, boys? I can blather on, about ‘to health’ or ‘to success’, but... I’d like to do something a little less rote. Where you from, Brown Eyes?”
“How ‘bout a toast to Operation Cinder,” you tried.
“Now,” said Hess, appreciatively, “There’s a woman who knows her history.”
Din’s deer-in-the-headlights look was now replaced by a fierce one, one that suggested he would be much happier if Hess never mentioned nor spoke to you again, thank you very much.
“No,” you said. “No, I don't just know it - I lived it. I was in Burnin Konn.”
You had friends on Burnin Konn. Friends who may have not been doing the right thing... but who thought they were.
“Burnin Konn?” “Mm.”
“That was a hard day. I had to make many... unpleasant decisions.”
“Yes, you did,” you said, trying to keep contempt from rising up. “Entire city, gone in moments - along with everybody in it. We lost our whole division that day - man, that was like, 5, 10,000 people?”
“Yep. All heroes of the Empire.” “Yeah. And all dead.”
Din was shaking his head at you, and you were sure that if this was any other moment, he would have placed his gloved hand over yours. But this was not any other moment. And you would not be soothed.
“Well, it’s a small sacrifice for the greater good, dear.”
“Depends on who you ask, don't you think?”
“What’re you getting at, trooper?” “All those people... the ones who died, was it good for them? Hm? Their families? The ones I served with? Civilians, those for mud scuffers, died defending their homes, fighting for freedom. Was it good for them?”
“But we’ve outlasted them, dear,” said Hess. “They’re eating themselves alive. The New Republic is in complete disarray... and we grow stronger. You see, with the rhydonium you delivered, we can create havoc... that’s gonna make Burnin Konn just pale by comparison. And then, they’re gonna turn to us once again.”
You hated him.
“You see, kids,” Hess said, addressing you and Din, “Everybody thinks they want freedom, but what they really want... is order. And when they realize that, they’re gonna welcome us back with open arms. Ah.”
He lifted his glass, and you chuckled. Din looked scared out of his mind - and you thought, briefly, that he might look like that all the time, and you’d never know.
“To the Empire.” He drank. You fired.
Din shot you a look, and you stared back, defiantly. Stormtroopers approached from all sides, and the both of you sprang into action. Eventually, you killed them, and it was... just the two of you. Him looking at you. Wondering what you’d do, how you’d react -
What came now.
“You did what you had to do,” you said, picking up his helmet, and it was the hardest thing you’d ever done. “I never saw your face.” He looked back at you.
“Y/N...”
“It’s okay,” you said, quietly, despite the fact that absolutely none of it was okay. “It’s okay.”
As the alarm bells began to ring, he lifted the helmet up, as if to put it on, and then threw it aside, sweeping you into a kiss.
“Cya’rika,” he whispered, and you grinned, sliding the helmet over his head.
“C’mon... brown eyes.”

A Sweet Package - BobaDin Week Day 5: AU
Pairing: Din Djarin / Boba Fett
Rating: General (no warnings aside from mild swearing)
Summary: Boba has to deal with an unwanted package at his front door. Luckily, the hassle turns out to be worth it when he meets the package's true owner.
A/N: Here, have some tooth-rotting fluff because these boys deserve it! (ノ☉ヮ⚆)ノ ⌒*:・゚✧
Also available on AO3
“Ouch, shit, god dammit,” Boba swore as he stubbed his toe.
He shifted his keys to his other hand and leaned against his apartment door as he bent down to rub his toe, glaring at the offending object.
The damn package was in the wrong place. The worst part? He hadn’t even ordered anything recently.
It had been a long day, he was tired, and he didn’t have the time or patience to deal with unwanted shit outside his door.
Boba was inclined to just let it sit there, but he had to move it out of the way if he didn’t want to repeat this stubbed-toe incident tomorrow. As he glanced down again to shove it away with his foot, he noticed that the package had actually come to the correct place, but it had come to the wrong person.
It was his address, but he was certainly not the “Grogu Djarin” to whom it had been addressed.
He’d been living here for almost three months and he hadn’t received any other pieces of mail. Surely there was a forwarding address set up for this Grogu Djarin? The outside label had a personalized message that read, “To Grogu. I love you to the stars and back, little one. Happy Birthday! Love, Dad.”
Ah shit. He was going to have to do something with it.
Boba did not want to be responsible for a kid missing out on his birthday present. Grogu Djarin would probably be expecting his package-- what if this was his only birthday gift? Another closer look at the box revealed a “Perishable: refrigerate after opening” label. Damn, he certainly couldn’t just keep the package and hope that the father in question would come by and collect it. Given its size, weight, and postage markings on it, whoever had ordered it had spent quite a lot on getting it sent.
Boba sighed and bent down to carry the package inside. As he set it down on the kitchen table, he saw that there was no return address, just the information from the company that had sent it. A bakery. A well-known, quite expensive bakery.
He had a very clear picture of what was going on now, but he didn’t know what he could do about it. Boba’s brow furrowed. It wasn’t his responsibility, technically… But the thought of a little boy not receiving his birthday treat, from his father no less, was enough to soften his heart.
He couldn’t get the vision of this unknown man telling his sad child that he wasn’t getting a birthday cake this year out of his head. It was terribly sad...
Oh great. He was on a mission now.
Boba had to get the cake to this child. He needed a plan. Returning to sender would be useless at this point, so he had to find out the current address of Grogu Djarin’s father.
He grabbed his phone and typed up a quick message to his landlord and leasing agency.
"This is Boba Fett from apartment fifteen. Do you have a forwarding address for the previous tenants? I’ve received a time-sensitive package for them."
After sending the message, Boba ambled around his apartment and tried to find something to take his mind off the Problem sitting on his table. He took some cold noodles out of the fridge for dinner and listened to a voicemail from Fennec that mostly involved her complaining about a recent customer.
Right when he was about to dive into invoices from work, his phone buzzed with a message from his landlord. It contained the former tenant’s email address.
He scratched the back of his head as he considered how to compose the email. He figured keeping it formal was a safer bet. He didn’t want this guy thinking he was some kind of creep. Boba hummed to himself as he typed out a message.
"Hello. I’m the current tenant of your previous apartment and I’ve received a package addressed to you. It says “perishable” on it so I figured it was important. Let me know how you’d like to proceed."
He leaned back in his chair, assuming that it would take a while for Grogu Djarin’s father to respond. But it didn’t. Within five minutes, his phone chirped with a response.
"Thank you! I was wondering what happened when it didn’t arrive today like it was scheduled to. It was my own fault for forgetting to update my address when I ordered online. I’m terribly sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for letting me know what happened."
Boba frowned as he read the response. The man obviously wasn’t expecting anything from him. That was a good thing, but Boba still felt guilty. Perhaps the man was too polite to ask anything of him? He decided to dig a little deeper.
"The package is a birthday cake, right? I recognize the bakery on the label. Do you still need it?"
"Yes, it’s a cake. It’s my son’s birthday tomorrow. All the kids in his class are obsessed with this bakery but we’ve never been, so I decided to order from them as a surprise. I’d offer to come pick it up but my son’s already in bed and I can’t leave him alone. Thanks for letting me know what happened to it. You can get rid of it, or enjoy it yourself if you want."
Boba sucked in a breath and considered his options.
"Are you still in the city? I could bring it to you."
"I couldn’t ask you to do that."
"It’s no trouble."
"Okay, then yes, thank you! I can’t tell you how much that means to me. My address is ---"
Luckily it wasn’t too far from Boba’s apartment. No more than twenty minutes. He could handle that.
He sent back one more message affirming that he was on his way, and then he gathered up the package and his keys. So much for a relaxing night. He had to be up early as usual, but the warmth in his chest almost made up for it. Hell, he felt like some kind of personal Santa Claus. Fennec would say that his actions were “good karma”, but deep down Boba knew he was doing it for the little boy on the label. He knew what it was like to have a disappointing birthday as a child. Boba wouldn’t allow another child to experience that if there was something he could do about it.
Twenty minutes later he was standing in front of an unfamiliar apartment door, double-checking his email to make sure he was at the correct address. He knocked gently, since it was late and the kid inside was likely asleep.
After a brief moment, the door opened to reveal a tall, disheveled man. He was fit and looked only slightly younger than Boba, but his hair was a mess and there was... flour? Yes, flour, spilled across his shirt and sleeves. His brown eyes immediately widened in recognition and gratitude when he realized who was at the door.
“Hey,” Boba said awkwardly, hefting the package in his arms, “I believe this belongs to you.”
“Yes, thank you!” the man exclaimed, opening the door wider and stepping into the threshold, “You really have no idea how much this means to me. My son’s going to be very happy tomorrow.”
“I figured,” Boba replied, handing over the package. He allowed his eyes to run over the man’s features again. He was a mess, but cute. Very cute. And he was clearly a caring father. It made Boba want to be nicer than usual.
“You didn’t have to come all this way. Can I pay you, or give you something to thank you-”
Boba just held up his hand and shook his head.
“It’s no problem, really. I wanted to. As soon as I saw the ‘happy birthday’ message, I thought oh shit, I gotta get this to them. I hope your son enjoys it.”
“I’m sure he will. You really did me a huge favor. We moved a few weeks ago and my head’s still all over the place. Finally got a two-bedroom,” the man said, then quickly shut his mouth when he realized this might be unnecessary information.
“Congratulations,” Boba replied, giving him a wry smile. The man blushed and shifted the package under one arm so he could reach out and shake Boba’s hand.
“I’m Din by the way.”
“Boba. Nice to meet you.”
He knew he could walk away right now, but something about the man in front of him was magnetic. Boba was jaded enough at this point in life to not believe in stupid romantic fantasies like love at first sight, but there was something about this man that seemed special. His eyes captivated Boba’s attention, and he found that he wasn’t ready to end their conversation just yet.
“Were you trying to whip up a last-minute backup cake?” Boba asked, gesturing to the flour he spotted on Din’s collar and neck.
Din gave a humorless chuckle and shook his head.
“Just cupcakes. And it was going terribly. I uh, can’t bake to save my life,” he said, his hand rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
Boba hummed and tilted his head. Should he…? Yeah, he was going to be honest with Din.
“Well, I can.”
Din’s brow furrowed and he gave Boba the most adorable confused look. “Huh?”
“I can bake. Actually, I bake quite a lot.”
“You do?”
“Couldn’t tell just by looking at me?” Boba tossed back sarcastically, but he grinned to show the man he wasn’t truly offended, “Yes, it’s my job. I own a bakery.”
“Oh! That’s amazing! And you… came all this way to deliver a cake from a rival bakery?”
“I’ll be honest, when I first saw the package at my door I was ready to dump it in the trash, but your note changed my mind. They’re overrated, but they’re still pretty good. I’m sure your son and his friends will love the cake.”
“I’m inclined to believe you, seeing as you’re an expert and all.”
“But now you’ll have to allow me to get some free advertising out of this deal,” Boba replied, his grin widening, “If you’re interested in trying some real delicious, authentic stuff, come by my place with your son sometime. It’s over on the West Side. I promise I’ll make something that’ll blow this cake out of the water.”
Din’s eyes sparkled as he nodded, “I think that’s a fair deal. It won’t take much to convince my son, he has a massive sweet tooth.”
“Fantastic. It’ll be worth the trip, just wait and see.”
They smiled at each other like they were in some kind of damn rom-com. Boba knew that he was probably wearing the same goofy-grin as Din but it didn’t bother him. So what if he appeared soft? It was near-midnight on Wednesday, there was no one else in the apartment hallway to see them anyway. Even if there was, Boba couldn’t bring himself to care.
“Well… have a good rest of your night,” he said to Din, taking a step back. He had to leave before he did something really stupid, like lean in for a kiss with this overly attractive stranger. This wasn’t actually a movie- it wasn’t like there was a soft-rock ballad swelling in the background.
“Thank you again, Boba,” Din replied, his voice brimming with sincerity. He gave Boba one last soft smile as the man started to step away, “And I’ll see you soon. I promise.”
“I look forward to it.”
As Boba walked back down the stairs, he couldn’t get the stupid smile off his face. Fennec would laugh at him tomorrow when he recounted the story, but he didn’t care. Sure, real-life wasn’t a movie. But this was as close to it as he’d ever come, and you could be damn sure that he was going to savor it.

We Promise (Din Djarin x Reader)
Tumblr media
Rating: PG-13
Type: Angst
Request: “Din and Reader, in the exact moment with Luke, Fennec, Bo, Koska and Cara, with Grogu....more emotive finale and with the promise Din and Reader reunites with his little son again.....and Luke promises to call.”
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: CH.16 SPOILERS, separation anxiety (?)
A/N: Not going to lie, I made myself cry with this one so feel free to put on some depressing ass music before starting to read this so that we can wallow in our emotions together.
✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸
It was rescue day. And it had all gone by extremely fast and easily - too easily you thought. Sure, Din almost got his head smashed in by a blacktrooper and almost died fighting Moff Gideon while you freed the child but you both managed to go back to the cockpit of the ship.
That is until an alarm goes off and everyone looks around, looking for the source on the main panel.
Fennec turns and examines the flickering buttons “The ray shields have been breached. We’re being boarded.”
You’re confused eyes find Din’s shield, he shakes his head not knowing what is taking place as Grogu nuzzles closer to your chest
“How many life forms?”
“None.”
”You’re about to face off with the dark troopers,” You both turn around to find Gideon smirking up “You both had your hands full with just one. Let’s see how you do against a platoon.”
Your first thought is of nothing but to protect Grogu, so you stretch part of your uniform’s chest fabric and carefully tuck him there as if it were a baby carrier, making sure that he is okay. He looks up at you with those big goggly eyes in adoration.
“You’re gonna be okay buddy.” you assure him, more to yourself than to anyone else.
“Seal the blast doors!” Bo shouts as the heavy doors slide shut.
“They’re here!” shouts Koska and there is an unsettling silence in the air. But only for a few seconds, as the door starts to be rhythmically punched, the echoes flying through the chamber and between all of you. Gideon smirks.
“How many do you think?” you ask Din, standing side by side with him, blasters in hand aiming at the incoming threat.
“I don’t know.” his breathing is altered behind the mask.
“You have an impressive fire team protecting you...” Gideon begins “But I think we all know, after a valiant stand, everyone in this room will be dead...”
In the corner of your eye you can see Din’s helmet turning slightly in you direction and you eyes meet his visor, giving him apologetic eyes. As if to say I’m sorry that I couldn’t have done more, I’m sorry that it had to go this way. He shakes his head not wanting to have to accept this as a possible end.
“But me. And them. And the Child.”
“Never in a million years. No one is coming near him.” you hiss clutching the blaster even harder, the banging getting louder and louder.
That is, until it completely ceases, all of a sudden. You furrow your brows in confusion and look around at the rest of the troops trying to get any information.
“Why did they stop?” asks Koska, lowering her gun.
Suddenly, you feel Grogu stir against your chest. Looking down, you can see that his ears are perked up and his little fingers are stretched in what seems to be the direction of a surveillance monitor. You walk up to Din who carefully takes Grogu away from your chest, sitting him in front of the monitor.
One of his hands finds the screen and he coos. There is a  hooded man on the monitor, and he is holding a lightsaber, destroying every trooper in his path. Your first instinct is to pick up Grogu again - for all you know, this person might also want to take him away.
But just as you start to move your arms, Din’s gloved hand rests on your shoulder the closest to him, motioning for you to stop.
“What - “ you start.
“Wait.” he assures you.
You look down and you can see in Grogu’s face. He’s a safe person. He’s a friend. He’s one of them.
“Open the doors.” Din says, looking at Fett. No one moves, sending him some questioning looks.
“I said, open the doors.”
Din reaches around your waist and opens them himself.
The man who emerged from the fog, was holding a green light saber, which he turns off as soon as he is in your presence. He then carefully pulls down his hood and you recognize his face immediately.
Luke. Luke Skywalker.
You sure had heard a few things about him and his family history, but you’d never think that your paths would ever cross. You’d never think that you’d be involved with such important people.
“Are you a Jedi?” you ask, still standing with Grogu behind your back
“I am.” he answers sending you a sympathetic smile at you.
He then tilts his head to look behind you and is met with a tiny little head tilting in his direction, still shyly hiding behind you. “Come, little one.”
“He doesn’t want to go with you,” Din states, facing Luke.
“He wants your permission. He is strong with the Force - but talent without training is nothing.”
Grogu manages to climb to your chest and you hold him, both of you facing Luke. He can see in your face that you don’t want to let the child go. That he in ways has become your kid and you’d die if it meant it would keep him safe. But you forget Luke is a Jedi - he can read your thoughts.
“I will give my life to protect the Child.” he assures you “But he will not be safe until he masters his abilities.”
Grogu coos at Din who turns in his direction. You gently transfer Grogu into his embrace. Quietly, he speaks to him, in a warm fatherly manner.
“Hey, go on. That’s who you belong with.” There’s a short pause and you just know that he is trying to keep it together under the mask ”He’s one of your kind. I’ll see you again. I promise.”
He then does something you never thought he’d do. Or at least that you’d never see. He takes the helmet off.
You are standing next to him, and you can see the hurt in his eyes. His brown eyes. You smile through the silent tears that pool at your eyes - you knew they were brown. He’s crying as well.
Then, Grogu’s head turns to you and Din turns so that the child is perfectly situated between the both of you.
“He...” says Luke “... he needs your permission as well. He’s attached to the both of you.” You look up as he puts the emphasis on both.
You reach your face down and kiss the place between his eyes, laying your forehead against his. Without warning, and in the motion of the moment, Din’s own forehead lays against you.
“You’ll always have a home, little one. We’ll always be here for you. We promise.”
Both you and Din silently cry, holding the child. Your child. For as little time as you might’ve had as a family, that’s what you were, and it hurt to have to give your child away.
You set Grogu down and he hugs both your left and Din’s right calves together, his tiny arms barely managing to do such, earning a small chuckle from you.
“Go on now.” you assure him, lovingly.
He slowly waddles in Luke’s direction until this small white droid comes from behind him and starts beeping away - somehow, they seem to understand the conversation.
Luke smiles at the both of you, watching the kid, adoringly and you lean against Din’s side, whose fingers find yours, squeezing your hand. Luke then picks him up and straightens his back.
“You know how our kind has these special abilities...One of them is connecting through the mind with those with whom we’ve formed a bond with. Clearly the child is bond to the both of you for life.” Grogu coos as if in agreement. “And as his assigned master, I am now connected to you two as well. So please don’t be sad, we’ll keep in touch as much as possible.” You smile up at Luke, thanking him. “Every kid needs their parents’ love in their life.”
That one definitely hurt deep as a small sob makes his way through your lungs and mouth and you feel Din’s hand squeezing tighter.
“May the Force be with you,” Luke says, before turning and walking away with the child, who looks at the both of you for the last time. All he sees are the two people that love him the most - the ones that he, in his mind, has nicknamed of Dada and Mama, the first finally allowing him to put a face to the name - holding each other, teary eyed watching him go away.
Once the door closes again, you and Din fully embrace each other, as if no one else is in the room. Little do you know that they were all crying while watching the scene unfold and are now trying to contain any sort of sob that might come as the two of you hold onto each other.
The perfect picture of a broken family.

I just wanna talk about my Mandalorian modern kid au. Generally speaking: aliens are still aliens, and imagine they're all on modern earth.
Din is a 10 y/o boy who ran away from a foster home with Grogu because it was a bad situation and they were going to get separated.
This lands him in a small town where he meets a gaggle of other kids and teens: Luke (6), Cara (9), Migs (9), Cobb (10), Omera (11), Boba (13), Ahsoka (15), and Fennec (17).
Jango (still alive) notices how dirty Din is and how hungry him and Grogu all are. Finds out he's a run away, and down the line ends up becoming his foster parent (and even later officially adopts him).
This will get long So
Some world building away from Din-
Jango Fett is a single dad. He works as a carpenter. Loves Boba dearly, even if the little shit is now middle school football player who thinks he's So Tough. Boba loves his little brothers tho.
Skywalker family is... a lot. Qui-Gon is also alive in this AU and is married to Shmi (Anakin's mother). He's a youth pastor, which is how he met and then later adopted Obi-Wan. Church food drive is how he met single mom Shmi, and they got married 💕 They never had any children together, but did adopt Ahsoka :D
I've shortened Anakin and Padmé's age gap. They were a teen pregnancy sorta deal with Padmé dying during childbirth and Anakin out of the picture due to trouble with the law.
The Organa's were under the assumption that they were only taking in one baby and were unprepared to take in another. Shmi and Qui-Gon were also not in a position to take both. (I honestly cannot think of a better reason to separate these two that isn't even more implausible).
The others have less strong backstories but:
Cobb and Cara have parents in the p*lice force. Omera lives happily with her parents on the town's farm. She's close to Fennec, and Fennec has a dicey home life and often spends time with Omera.
Leia grows up happy with the Organa's, and is well aware that Luke is her twin. They live about 45 mins away from each other (Leia lives in the city), but are absolute besties and love each other. She has a babysitter, Bo-Katan (18; HS senior), who HATES the others lmaoooo. It gets even worse when her sister, Satine, gets engaged to Obi-Wan and she learns that Ahsoka is about to become her sister-in-law.
Bo-Katan is in pain.
Ahsoka thinks this is hilarious.
They're familiar with each other because Fennec rounds up the kiddos into her car and takes them into the city so they can play at the park, get fast food, play illegal games of hide and seek at Ikea, etc.
Bo-Katan: Leia, you can play with ANYONE else, does it have to be them???
It doesn't help that they all crash her Halloween party lmao.
A few other details:
- Both Omera and Cobb have a crush on Din. Omera is shy about it, and Cobb does stupid things to look cool and get Din's attention
- Fennec has a Thing going on with Peli (19) and will likely start working at the mechanic's shop with her after she graduates in a year.
- Greef (21) is constantly exasperated and wondering where all these kids parents are
- Boba plays football and Ahsoka is a volleyball player who will pitch in for softball if they need an extra player
- Fennec sometimes hunts (for food, not sport) and is one of the best shots in town
And honestly I've got SO much more going on because my friend and I can talk for hours. If y'all have any thoughts or questions, please send them my way :D I love not shutting up

I am dying to know your thoughts on the S2 finale
I’m dead.  I’m dead I’m freaking dead
Overall absolutely loved it yessssssss, so good!
Mmmmm so much good rampaging and fight choreography yessss.  Personal favorites were Din versus Gideon because the cinematography was so gorgeous, Luke’s entrance because I am a lightsaber-loving girl, and Din versus the Dark Trooper because Din ilu but watching you thrown around like a ragdoll was simply hilarious
Also I don’t think Din getting repeatedly punched in the face was supposed to be funny but I was cackling
Also man, if he hated droids before imagine how he feels now
Also good cinematography:  I loved all the shots of the TIE fighters and the shuttle coming out of the whatever-they-called-it chute, beautifully framed shots.  This whole episode was really gorgeously shot
I am a simple girl.  I see Cara Dune shooting Space Nazis and then beating the living shit out of them, I receive serotonin
I feel similarly about Fennec Shand, she is amazing
Bo-Katan was the only downside to this episode because she’s an annoying bitch but her comeuppance was SO worth it.  HAHAHAHAHAHA NO DARKSABER FOR YOU AND IT’S RUBBED IN YOUR FACE HOW MUCH YOU DON’T DESERVE IT
Especially after talking to Boba like that, HOW DARE YOU SPEAK LIKE THAT TO A REAL MANDALORIAN YOU STUCK-UP COW
Okay I GUESS it made sense to bring her along, Din clearly knew what he was doing using her, but if you’ll allow me to be petty and snotty for a moment, I prefer appearances from REAL Star Wars characters not TCW nonsense
Speaking of which HOLY SHIT LUKE SKYWALKER HOLY SHIT LUUUUUUUUUKE LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE
In an earlier post I said I didn’t want a Luke cameo I take it back it was beautiful even if the CGI was just a touch off but it didn’t ruin the moment at least for me Like for any other character that entrance would be overlong and overdrawn, but for Luke Fucking Skywalker?  He deserves it and it was amazing.
My sister and I were, once again, literally screaming at the tv.  And then we managed to stop, Artoo came out, and we started again.
(Lol you know Artoo was just sitting there going “There’s ANOTHER one of these green fuckers?!”)
Gideon is such a cool villain.  So crafty and clever and always doing his best to stay one step ahead with excellent monologuing and fighting skills and also he has STYLE.  As my sister put it “He reminds me of Dooku” and “I’m glad Disney has figured out how to do villains again.”  I’m very glad he’s not dead and I hope he comes back and continues to be nefarious.
Villain honorary mention to that asshole pilot (in a Lambda-class shuttle! loved seeing one again!) who decided to talk shit about Alderaan, Cara gets an A++ for shooting him for it (and for clocking Gideon later)
“I yield” I fuckin died
So like.... I’m sure Din would be a great Mand’alor, he’s compassionate and clearly has a knack for bringing people together and deeply cares about Mandalorian ways (with a little adjusting for accepting others’ Mandalorian ways) but.... does he want this?  Because he seems to just want to mind his own business.  Not rule a planet he’s never seen and doesn’t really have any investment in.
Anyway to the Big Moment, I think Grogu going with Luke was overall well-done.  Grogu’s consent is clearly valued by Luke, he’s not baby-snatching him or anything (which is not what the Jedi ever did anyway), and while Luke addresses Grogu directly mostly, he also respects Din’s decision as Grogu’s father.  Luke clearly takes what they both want into consideration.  And of course, Grogu won’t go unless Dad says it’s okay and to me at least (maybe because I watch these halfway into ACCPOV mindset anyway) I felt like Grogu had already come to the decision himself, that he was ready to go train but only if he had Din’s support to do so.  I AM CRY.
God you know Din was dying inside though.  ME TOO, BUDDY
Overall I feel Din starting to remove the helmet has been a little too...easy?  I guess?  I’m not sure exactly what I wanted out of it more but he seemed to turn around too quickly for me given how hardcore Din was about it before.  That aside, Din taking off his helmet to say good-bye to his son was a beautiful heart-wrenching moment and straight-up murdered me with feelz and I loved it.
Lol so was Cara just standing there thinking “You wouldn’t let me remove it for A FATAL HEAD INJURY but now it’s okay????”
It was bittersweet but it definitely didn’t feel like an end to me.  Luke talks about training Grogu; he’s certainly not replacing Din as his father or anything, and like I said seems to treat Din as Grogu’s father.  Din says “we’ll meet again.”  And ofc Baby Yoda and Din are Disney’s big marketing Thing right now.  This isn’t good-bye forever, just good-bye for now.
That said as a teacher I’m picturing Luke setting up Class Dojo and sending Din a link and immediately getting five billion messages a day
Also you know Grogu spends the entire trip to Jedi School telling Luke all about how awesome his daddy is.  At least when he wasn’t trying to steal pieces from Luke’s cockpit with the excuse “Dad lets me do it”
So Din has lost his ship/home, almost everything he owns, gave up his beloved son, has taken off his helmet and even if he decides it doesn’t break his Creed he still probably has to do some serious Processing about it, and has just accidentally become ruler of a planet he’s never seen or even believes is worth going to.  CAN THIS MAN PLEASE HAVE A GODDAMN BREAK
Anyway imo the only big misstep of this episode was we didn’t get Din and Baby’s reunion.  Din fights Gideon and then he’s herding Gideon up into the bridge.  Where’s the emotional reunion between father and son?  Removing the baby handcuffs and making sure his boy is all right?  Baby finally relieved at being saved?  YOU’RE NOT GONNA SHOW US ANY OF THAT?!  (You’ll be seeing it in ACCPOV though, that’s for DAMN sure.)
The after scene was cool, the Boba Fett one is pretty much the only show I’m really interested in and I liked the little teaser.  Especially Fennec freeing the poor slave girl.
Tl;dr Loved it and was just wishing for one more big scene of Dad & Baby reuniting

Darling, don't say it's not much! It's enough to commit mass murder in here...
Omg, picking strawberries with Paz, this is such a cute date idea ❤️,
Paz def got hard too when your thighs touched his for the first time,
Poor baby couldn't cook much for the rest of the day, too much distraction,
He ''unintentionally''spiled some of that wine on you 😉,
Good excuse to touch you, or ermm, clean you,
Our big sweetheart can't help his dirty mind when he sees you eating a banana or when he gets you a popsicle,
Bless his soul when you innocently make eye contact with him while succing on that popsicle,
MAY I PRESENT TO UTHE BEST MORNING ROUTINE WITH PAZ,
He'd wake you up by eating you out,
Then some wrestling exercises to get you fully woken up,
And then, the blessing, the best gift, it's the holiest of holy things,
Image that you see when finnaly get out of bed,
Paz in his sweats™ preparing you delicious breakfast,
Hugging his back as he is cooking 😍,
Also he'd make you fresh smoothie picking your fav veggies and fruits from his garden,
Also you'd get this cute, japanese styled second breakfast to take with you to work, he'd put a cute, handwritten message there too,
Also making various shapes like hearts etc with ketchup,
What's wrong with me. I'm getting horny over food 🤔,
Paz would still be doing his cooking magic after you guys had Andromeda,
Stirring something with one hand while cradling Andromeda in his arm, what is this balance, totally like a boss,
Ad'ika trying to steal baby's porridge 😂,
I know he is a small pupper but somehow he'd manage okay 😂,
Andromeda helping Paz with collecting the eggs, well she'd surely drop most of them but well it's still a cute image,
One day at Din's school was this dressing up as your fav character day,
You joined his class, dressed as a princess with the tiara Din got you at Disneyland,
Grogu from now one was not only flexing about his dad being the Mandalorian but his mommy being a real life princess 🥺,
When Din introduced you to Andromeda sr. you both instantly hit it off,
She was spilling all the tea about him,
Omg! And showing you album with all the embarrassing photos,
She'd tell you how happy she was, because she thought Din would die a virgin lol,
After Boba opened up to you some more, he told you all about his father and how dearly he misses him,
Boba would be surprised by finding fresh flower bouquets at his dad's grave,
He quickly found out it was you,
He got so touched by this kind act of yours 😭,
You low-key dissing Din's truck and him getting butthurt,
''Din, did you find this car at the junkyard?'', '' When will you fix this dent right over there?'', ''When was the last time you changed the tires? '',
''Sweet girl, it's funny that you don't bitch about my truck when I am pounding into you in the backseat'' lol,
Boba and Paz for sure had THE TALK with Din, encouraging him to finally confess to you,
When you started staying over at Boba's place, Fennec would totally ignore him,
He'd be grumpy and slightly jealous,
''Well, shit. My both princesses ignoring me 😔'',
He would be all pouty if you tried to cover the hickies with makeup,
Paz is actually a really good dancer (when he is sober lol), he'd totally pull of some fancy moves while dancing with you,
Din can't even put a hand on your waist before getting all flustered, also he can't dance for the life of him.
And Boba? Well he'd just be standing guiding your hips to grind onto him
This time much more PG, and sort of went all over the place. Forgive me for my jumpiness but writing these getts me all giggly and cheery - 🐣
Oh trust me, I get so excited to do these that I am suprised I can type lmao....
The morning routine with Paz is beautiful, and him holding his little girl while cooking 🥺
Then him letting her help him cook, and prepare mommy's breakfast and little to go container 🥺
Imagine how cute these two would be on Mother's Day
Them making you a four course breakfast in bed, where you all are just curled up together
Ad'ika jumping on the bed and stealing a slice of toast, and everyone just laughing
Then Paz takes the two of you on a trip to an aquarium and he lets his little girl feed the turtles and play in the wade pool area
Andromeda loving the shark tunnel and watching them swim over top of her
Then when you get home that night and you lay Andromeda in bed, because she fell asleep in the car, Paz takes you to bed and makes sweet love to you
Thanking you for being with him, and giving him everything he has ever wanted
Then imagine making frozen chocolate dipped bananas with Andromeda
And Paz walking into the kitchen right as you place the tip of yours in your mouth and you just instantly see his eyes cloud with lust
Paz bites his lip and coughs saying he is going to go take a shower because he's been in the garden (and because he has a tight big problem)
Paz knows how to tango (both in and out of the bedroom)
Now, Grogu introducing everyone to his daddy the mandalorian and his mommy the princess. You're killing me
You and Andromeda sr. getting along like a house on fire
You constantly teasing Din about, dying a virgin
Teasing Din about his junky truck, only for him to pin you down in it next time you both go for a ride
At least one of the kids were definitely conceived in that truck
Boba has tried to get him a new one, but Din refuses, saying that his truck is trusty and has always been there for him
It breaks down like every week....
Talking with Boba about his dad 😢
One day you find a picture Boba has of him and his father when he was little
You went out and got a nice frame and hung it in your living room
When Boba had come home he noticed it immediately, and had just stopped and stared at it
You had come up behind him and wrap your arms around him, and he just silently placed his hand over your own
(SEND ME THOTS!!!)

#all im saying is heatwaves there would get unbearable and people end up in very minimal clothing and covered in sand #Din is gone but Boba stops by #and what he sees is Cobb Vanth the man who previously wore his armour bent over a speeder bike fixing something with his ass in the air #Boba isn't the only one eyeing him up no there was a reason Marshal Vanth was asked to help fix that speeder #Fennec takes pictures and sends them to Din
Tatooine heatwaves are only good for one thing and that's seeing Marshal Vanth is shorts that are barely long enough to cover his ass

First of all give Gwen a good belly rub and a kith om her head. I bet she is a good girl. Also, I don't know what kind of force bond thingy is this but you and I think in almost the same wa. No worries me likey!
AAA I was thinking about Fennec too! See told you we are connected,
Boba having grandpa moment sksksks but yes, he loves Fennec as much as he loves you,
Also, for the love of God, don't ask him to take photos of you,
All your selfies with him end up looking like this 😐Boba 🤗You,
Boba was feeling extra and bought two diamonds collars, one smaller for Fennec and a bigger one for you,
If, he was not a crime lord and didn't meet you he would end up being like a crazy old cat lady,
Is your head okay? It must be painful to have a brain the size of the universe.
Yes, yes, yes Paz definitely helps hurt animals and went out of his way to get rhe right diploma for that,
Din is butthurt when children flood him with question when will Mr Paz come again,
But he swallows his pride and totally participates in eco wokness classes,
Recently I watched a documentary on YouTube about japanese bunny cafe sooo
Paz has also area for the rabbits in the restaurant???
One day on his way to work Paz came across a pupper in distress and he performed a cpr on the dog, someone filmed it and it went viral,
You were scrolling through Instagram and had to double take
Wait was it? No it can't be
Omg Paz my hero, being friends with animals like a Disney princess,
I need you to lay down, your back must be hurt as well. Hurt from carrying this AU on your back queen.
Space themed room for Grogu 10/10 idea and your idea for the metal ball works so well!
Grogu + Din + Running = one day you end up tending to your boys, there are some scratches on their knees and elbows, but mostly Din took the damage(like it was bound to happen there are compilations of din landing on his butt),
Grogu's stroller must be made out of some, really resilient material (beskar??),
Grogu being freaked out by Fennec, like he sees a kitty but the kitty behaves like a doggo??? (srsly Maine Coons are the best high five bestie),
Boba tried to snap a pic of Grogu and Fennec, yeah, we know how it ended up looking,
Grogu desperately tries to steal and sneak in snacks for uncle Paz' pupper because it's so tiny, must feed it a lot! (oh bless his poor soul, little angel),
You and Din spent a whole day shopping for a space themed blankie, literally went to every shop possible, you were too dedicated to the cause but you ended up placing an order on-line,
When Boba had to go abroad for business, you settled on having a FaceTime date,
You wanted to surprise him so he would try his best to come back home as soon as possible,
You call him up appearing on his screen, wearing his favorite lingerie,
Only to end up to a close up of Boba's forehead and him saying
Princess I can't see you, can you hear me, baby girl are you there??,
Srsly what's wrong with him not being able to use the technology correctly,
You decided on sending him pictures, yours were really spicy, you wanted to show him what he was missing,
Well, he send you a pic too. You weren't sure if it was his arm, leg, or his dick.
Maybe you need to check if his camera is stuck on some type of foggy filter because it's just ridiculous at this point,
Sorry I kinda went all of the place with those. If you want to stick up to specific theme you can choose! Or we can just keep up the random brainstorming - 🐣
Kajdksmskaksb stop! You can't be this nice to me lmao. (Also its funny you mention that my brain must hurt bc I do have chronic headaches and migraines) oh and Gwen says thank you for the belly rub and kisses.....
Lmao Boba is a total grandpa when it comes to technology
He totally takes pictures for you like this
Tumblr media
Diamond collar you say 👀👀👀 (Boba's princess is totally inscribed on the inside)
TRYING TO FUCKING FACETIME WITH BOBA OMFG
This man is just fuckinv holding the phone like you would when speaking on the phone, you're just seeing the side of his head
He totally tried to send a disk pick but he only got his thigh and like part of his left ball in the picture, not that you can tell
How the fuck does this man have a phone that has the ability to take pictures as good as the best cameras out there manage to only get pictures that look like they were taken with a flip phone?!?!?!
Din's students definitely ask every day when Paz is coming, they just love him and it takes sssoooooo long for him to come back lmao
Paz's restaurant has places for all types of animals, it doesn't matter what they are he has thought of something for them, and he has food for all of them
Paz totally accidentally becomes viral and gets interviewed by so many news channels, and of course he uses the exposure for good and makes an Instagram to show case the restaurant, his organization, and all of the charities he helps
The Instagram blows up and becomes verified and all the money he makes from it he donates to a new charity each month
(He starts hanging up all the fanart he receives all over the restaurant, especially the ones done by kids)
Ok so Din coming home just covered in scratches and your just like 'wtf happened?!?!!'
Turns out Grogu tried to jump out of the stroller while he was jogging and he had to catch him
Din's entire arm and knee + part of his cheek are just scratched to hell, Grogu hand has a small scratch and he's acting like its the end of the world
Grogu + Fennec = over protective pet and the child that it protects
Fennec is constantly pulling Grogu back from trouble by biting his pants leg
Paz's chihuahua (aaaahhh we need a name) loves abusing Grogu's feeding them habit, constantly begging for food around him and he A L W A Y S finds a way to give them some even if you are watching him like a hawk
Also I raise you, Grogu's favorite movies and TV shows are Star Wars
You are constantly trying to convince Din that he looks like Pedro Pascal, but he always deny it
Jokingly one day you say, "you know what you're right Din, Pedro is so much hotter."
He pouts for the rest of the day
For his bday you get Grogu a Luke figure and post it to Twitter, Mark Hamill sees it and retweets it telling him happy bday and may the force be with you
Grogu totally flips out in excitement
Din makes Grogu his own mandalorian helmet that he helps him paint what colors he wants
Paz gets Grogu a telescope and a book about stars
Boba of course spoils the kid and gets the giant lego star wars sets, as well as one of the actual blasters used on set of the OG movies (its one of the ones that that really cool green bounty hunter used 😏)
Also this is us:
Tumblr media
Anyways, sorry I was all over the place, I just got so excited lmao!!!

Hello, hello it's me, your partner in crime 🐣 who's got a batch of new ideas.
So Din has his australian shepherd Razor Crest,
I feel like Boba is more of a cat person and he's a busy man so he wouldn't have time for walks anyway,
I was initially thinking about either a sphynx cat or a British shorthair, these are really fancy breeds, but
I've got this idea, maine coon! This breed is fancy too!
Big kitty resting on his meaty thigh or in his lap 😳 (okay are we keeping this PG or at some point we are gonna go to town)
Oh and of course we can't obviously name kitty slave (Din points for you for the name of your ship working here)
Okay, back to work. Umm Paz...
While I love idea of him owning any breed, taking home any strays from the back alley of his restaurant, we need to remember that his living space is limited,
It's cheesy but imagine the spaghetti scene from Lady and The Trump recorded irl by Paz and Sent to you,
So a good doggo for Paz? Chihuahua?
Like there is this huge, chunky, ex-army man, which owns the best restaurant in Town, going around, stocking supplies with his little companion tucked under his arm,
Because of his bde he won't be ashamed of carrying his pet in cute little bag!
Razor Crest is such a good girl. She instantly starts loving you and Grogu,
Din is a busy man but still he manages to go jogging with her, his girlie needs a lot of activities since she is a shepherd dog (also Din with nicely toned legs because of the joggs? Ok ok keep this PG! Unless👉🏽👈🏽😳)
Grogu would still occasionally try to eat anything he can find (bad habit from his troubled upbringing but you and Din are working on fixing it though!)
This means Grogu would gladly share a "snack" with his big sister, and vice versa she once brought him her chewy snack,
Let's say you and Din need to visit uncle Paz more often, so Grogu develops proper taste for human, non-object food,
Crest sleeps with you and Din in bed. Neither of you can deny her that privilege,
But when Din finally adopts Grogu and the kiddo moves in, Crest will only sleep with him, guarding the little one all the time,
You and Din have no idea, but once Grogu snatched a small ball from daddy's car,(shiny-metal-ball-thingy from ship but in this case it's not metal and is child and pet friendly?) maybe he got it for kids at school but was forgetting to take it with him, Din big dummy dum,
Boba's lockscreen is a photo of you curled on the bed with the kitty atop of you(he is a big softie for both of you),
He has a huge folder with full on photos hoots of his cat,
But most pictures are blurred and the cat looks into camera like "human, don't bother me, human pet me, human bring treats),
Nonetheless, he treasures them dearly,
Paz' place is pet friendly,
He even has some dog and cat special dishes on the menu,
His doggo is his best culinary critic (after you of course),
Paz is thinking about making some accommodations in the backyard, back at home because he desperately wants to rescue more strays, but he keeps in mind that his farm animals need proper care too,
So he holds an event with local shelter at his place,
You help him organize everything perfectly, there is delicious food and lots of cute pets who are looking for a new home,
After fruitful ending you decide on collaborating witj the shelter as often as possible,
Paz even helped his old army pal adopt a dog because as a, selfcare king, he knows animals can provide great help when someone struggles with ptsd or anxiety.
As always please don't mind my mistakes. I hope you have been doing well, my writing bestie - 🐣
Screaming!!! Okay so sorry for taking so long, Saturdays are my 'busy' days lmao, also this can get as spicy as you want! I'm down for anything......
Please for the love of God yes, Boba totally has a Maine coon aka my favorite cat breed
He loves this cat dearly and you love when it comes and curls up on your lap
As for the name, what about Fennec??? Unless you want to have her be like his right hand in his organization
And Paz totally picks up strays and takes them to the local no kill shelter, he wants to keep them all, but he knows he can't
Paz is constantly sending the reader pictures of dogs and cats and animals doing various things, and recreating movie scenes
As for Paz's dog, a Chihuahua is so fucking perfect!!! Huge man with tiny dog yes please
(Though I may be biased because I own a three legged chihuahua named Guinevere aka Gwen)
Tumblr media
Paz totally goes around shopping and everything with his little pupper with him (did you know they have harness for dogs so that you can carry them around like babies....so like my new pp except instead of Grogu its a doggo)
Paz also definitely allows pets into the restaurant and even has a little dog area for the pets to mingle while you eat
He of course is also a 5 star chef when it comes to feeding the animals, making sure to check all of the boxes when it comes to their basic nutritional needs
OMFG BIG BRAIN MOMENT, Paz is a certified rehabilitator for animals, he will take in hurt animals, domestic and wild, and help them until he can release them back into the wild or take them to the shelter/give them to a good home
Din totally goes jogging when he can, and he has a jogging stroller so Grogu can go with him (Grogu is on the smaller side because of his past hardships)
Grogu sooooo gets into Razor's treats (my sister used to walk along our alley behind our house and eat our dogs 😂😂)
Grogu and Razor are also partners in crime, they steal stuff and share the spoils all the time (hence why Din doesn't give Grogu chocolate or anything bad for dogs yet)
Din once found Grogu chewing on a bone he gave Razor and almost had a heart attack
Also the images of Grogu curled around Razor in his tiny space shipped bed, 102038302/10 too fucking cute (Grogu's room is space themed and you totally helped Din set everything up for him)
As for the metal ball, in this AU what if its like a small moon plushy that Din had in his classroom that Grogu keeps managing to sneak home until Din just gives up and let's him keep it? (Thats how the two of you got the idea for a space themed room)
Boba being a total grandpa taking pictures of his kitty to send to you all the time, aka another reason why they are blurry because Boba can't take a good picture to save his life lmao
Paz totally holds drives for the local shelter and events for people to come and meet animals they can adopted
Paz holding nights at the restaurant where all of the money is donated to the shelter and at the cash register he gives out home made dog biscuits as thank yous for coming in and donating
Omg Paz help his buddies with getting animals 😭😭
Also I raise you, Paz owns rabbits as well that he often takes with him when he visits Din's classroom (one of them is Grogu's and he comes over and plays with it and feeds it once a week)
(Send me THOTS!!)
