A Few Features of True Web 3.0
If Office Ono gets 100% of the advertising share instead of 30% or 40% from the platform, then she will get more income. But in the current stage of the Internet, this goal is almost impossible to achieve, because the traditional Internet is centralized and monopolized by Internet giants, and operators need to pay for various costs.
Web 3.0 requires a new paradigm to subvert the monopoly of today’s Internet giants and protect the interests of every Internet user. Thanks to the decentralized storage, immutability, and information encryption of blockchain technology, combined with the recent research summary of BlockBeats, Web 3.0 can be roughly labeled as follows:
1. Unified identity authentication system
2. Data rights confirmation and authorization
3. Privacy protection and anti-censorship
4. Decentralized operation
For many problems in the current Internet, such as the need to repeatedly register accounts, service providers abusing user privacy data, network companies using user data for profit, and network services cannot be continued, etc., you can use the above-mentioned 4 tags alone or in combination. , a solution for Web 3.0. For the corresponding attributes, BlockBeats will give readers a detailed explanation and discussion in subsequent articles.
Block Beats BlockBeats will also bring readers positive and negative views on Web 3.0 so that readers can fully understand Web 3.0.
A transparent and reliable Internet economic paradigm will be introduced by Web 3.0.
Because users have used Internet content for free for decades, everyone is not disgusted with the method of giving personal data to websites and service providers for free through the “User Agreement” and “Privacy Agreement”, and even thinks it is a matter of course. But we have neglected that the money earned by companies using user data will not be returned to users, and users have no right to obtain the remaining profits after the revenue covers operating costs. A lot of people take this for granted, but it’s not fair.
Whether it is Web 1.0 or Web 2.0, the centralization of operational services always brings more or fewer issues of transparency and trust. This problem can be solved through the blockchain technology application of data rights certification, data confirmation, and authorization. The data generated by the user in Web 3 world is owned by the user, and the user has no right to use it without authorization confirmation of the user. At the same time, users may also get a share of the benefits generated by the use of data through the token economy of the digital cryptocurrency industry.
The emergence of the token economy and digital assets also gives users the opportunity to participate in the operation of Web 3.0 development companies. They can participate in voting and dividends, and realize the positive interaction between developers and users. Users are both users and maintainers. For example, the Brave browser recommended by BlockBeats before. When users surf the Internet in the browser, the browser will recommend advertisements to readers, and at the same time return part of the income to readers. It not only consumes the user’s data but also generates income for the user. There will be more such products in the future, allowing users to participate in the company’s operations. Fred Wilson, a partner of AVC Capital, believes that this behavior can be understood as Open Data (open data), which is an important part of the development of Web 3.0.
What is Web 3.0?
Due to the Pharaoh’s involvement in a certain project’s mining, as was mentioned at the beginning of the article, a CDN node of a video website, delivering video files to nearby video users, and calculating himself according to the uploaded traffic. workload, and then share money from Youku or iQiyi, or Tencent Video. Lao Wang is a very standard Web 3.0 participant. He can enjoy the convenience of the Internet and earn money for his contributions.
In the traditional Internet field, users have very little control over their own data.
For example, an article you published on a blog may be deleted because of a “stop service announcement” from Sina Blog. Even the copyrighted music you paid for on NetEase Cloud Music will be deleted from the App because of the expiration of NetEase Cloud’s copyright, and you will never hear it again. Your beloved game may also be “disconnected from the server” because the developer can’t make money, and you spent months playing and destroying your equipment.
In the traditional Internet field, all this has happened, and more will happen. In the era of Web 3.0, this problem will be solved through decentralization.
Blockchains known as global computers such as Ethereum 2.0 and Dfinity will provide developers with basic computing services, without the need to rent servers, and user data can also be passed through IPFS, Sia, OrbitDB (decentralized databases using IPFS) ) and other technologies for decentralized storage, no one can control your data anymore. As long as you are willing to pay for the blockchain smart contract that the game runs, even if you are the only one left in the entire game, you can still play.
Changes to products and games must be voted on by the community, and developers no longer have dictatorial rights. Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, was furious because of the random modification of character skills in the online game “World of Warcraft”. The emergence of Web 3.0 will limit the occurrence of this situation.
Web 3.0 is actually cold and emotionless, only in this way can it serve everyone faithfully.
The application of Web 3 in the financial field will also surpass our imagination of the current financial industry, and it has already landed. Take the Maker DAO decentralized lending platform as an example. On this platform, users can obtain the dollar-pegged stablecoin DAI by over-collateralizing digital assets.
Web 3.0 — a more humane Internet
In the eyes of traditional Internet people, Web3 may look like this.
Every time you buy something on JD.com, the website’s algorithm will make recommendations by looking at other products purchased by users who have bought a product like you or based on your previous browsing history and purchase history. What happened in the process? The site learns your latent preferences from other users and recommends content you might like. Essentially, the website itself is learning to become smarter.

X METAVERSE PRO: A trustworthy Web3.0 social platform
In the Web 2.0 stage, the Internet has helped billions of people enter a new network model and established a stable and reliable infrastructure. At the same time, driven by various trends and innovations, digital media has begun to prosper. Various audio files, video clips, animations, games, and streaming movies have sprung up like mushrooms after a spring rain, occupying an indispensable part of people’s daily life — most of the time. With the rise of virtual and augmented reality, a deeper level of immersive experiential interaction has also emerged.
Tumblr media
Based on this situation, a new business model represented by short video delivery and live broadcast delivery began to emerge and quickly ignited the entire network in a short period. From the perspective of the creator economy, this is a way of monetizing content. From the analysis of the underlying business logic, this method introduces the traffic share of the e-commerce platform to the video platform. It converts the original consumption habits into a P2P model, which symbolizes the arrival of the initial stage of decentralization to a certain extent. Therefore, we foresee that the decentralized, peer-to-peer-led model is bound to make a difference in future business.
The centralized network has the meaning of monopoly, and the wealth is inclined to a few technology giants. Because of such inequality and inequality, the voice of human privacy and data ownership intensifies, and Web 3.0 has become a solution to this dilemma. Web 3.0 advocates decentralization, built, operated, and owned by all users. The core is blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFT, which advocates the return of power to users in the form of ownership. With the blockchain network acting as the infrastructure, Web3 promises to build a free, open, permissionless next-generation internet.
Tumblr media
Web 3.0 is a beautiful vision for humanity. It is felt that the Internet is owned, built, and controlled by users. Social media users can monetize their data and content creators. Payments in cryptocurrency can be received directly, and the creator can own the video platform.
And X METAVERSE PRO is a project for deep thinking and comprehensive layout in Web3.0. Starting from digital media, the platform is committed to building a decentralized video platform and realizing Web3.0 social networking in the true sense. X METAVERSE PRO conducts research and development in conjunction with its financial industry and ecology.
X METAVERSE PRO is a decentralized video platform based on blockchain and smart contracts. Using its features such as de-trust, anonymity, and token incentives, X METAVERSE PRO can well change the status quo of the traditional video industry, solve monopoly, Unequal value distribution, privacy leakage, and high marketing costs are the pain points. The platform can create a virtuous business cycle, connecting content creators, viewers, and advertisers, and the whole process is transparent and efficient.
Tumblr media
In X METAVERSE PRO, the creator’s income can be significantly improved. Creators can upload videos on the platform quickly and easily. Once the video is displayed and is loved by the audience, fans can directly give rewards, sponsors can directly sponsor, and everyone can use $XMETA as an economic token within the platform. Permission from the platform is required. In this way, both decentralization and de-platforming are achieved. X METAVERSE PRO is the perfect embodiment of effective information transmission and trust.
In addition, creators will spend less, and the costs of server hosting, and video storage, will be significantly reduced. X METAVERSE PRO incentivizes those with additional storage and bandwidth capabilities to participate in peer-to-peer content delivery networks (P2P CDNs) by issuing $XMETA and running XMETA cache nodes as well as edge nodes. Anyone can take advantage of their Excess resources and get $XMETA rewards.
Tumblr media
More importantly, X METAVERSEPRO has created a unique $XMETA incentive community. X METAVERSEPRO is an autonomous platform governed by DAO. When the team conducts economic distribution, a portion of $XMETA will be allocated to encourage participation in community building, marketing, and platform development. When the platform wants to choose one of many projects to advance or develop in a specific direction, all members who hold $XMETA can participate.
Regarding the next development step, X METAVERSE PRO has a careful plan and will focus on the decentralized video platform. Next, the team will expand its personnel by recruiting top talents in various fields to grow the team, including experienced developers, consultants, marketing managers, and community experts. At the same time, the project will update core components and issue development reports every month to establish close relationships with community members.
X METAVERSE PRO is expected to reach a key milestone for the platform by the end of the year and will be the first to launch a demo platform with Metaverse Social, allowing viewers to reward their favorite content creators with $XMETA and allowing the early creator community to start from Earn $XMETA for their content.
Tumblr media
After that, the platform plans to construct the peer-to-peer CDN network early next year to complement the current X METAVERSE PRO CDN. The network will allow those with spare storage and broadband capacity to participate in content delivery and be rewarded for doing so. At the same time, it will provide scalability high enough to support the growing traffic of the X METAVERSE PRO platform.
X METAVERSE PRO aims to achieve long-term close cooperation with the community of quality content creators and viewers so that more people can join X METAVERSE PRO. The team will simultaneously develop more features to provide everyone with an excellent viewing experience. According to the development plan, X METAVERSE PRO will achieve the full maturity of DAO in the next year.
X METAVERSE PRO is about to belong to anyone on earth who uses it.
The centralized platform is often a one-stop management model, and the rights of creators, viewers, and advertisers are constantly being squeezed and exploited, which does not apply to Web 3.0. X METAVERSE PRO will lead in Web3.0 practice and create an epoch-making social platform. In my opinion, this is the best way to achieve decentralization and de-platforming.
X METAVERSE PRO will become an irreplaceable Web3.0 interactive solution in the new era.

Unlocking the Future: How Web3 is Revolutionizing the Digital World
Tumblr media
Introduction
In the ever-evolving landscape of technology, few concepts have sparked as much excitement and potential as Web3. Often hailed as the next frontier of the internet, Web3 represents a paradigm shift from the centralized structures that have dominated the digital realm for decades. It’s a vision of a decentralized internet where users regain control over their data, digital identities, and online interactions. But beyond the technical jargon and futuristic visions, what does Web3 really mean for the average user? And why is it generating such a positive buzz across industries? In this blog, we’ll explore the transformative potential of Web3, its benefits, and how it is poised to redefine the way we interact with the digital world.
Understanding Web3: The Next Evolution of the Internet
Web3, or Web 3.0, is more than just an upgrade of the current web; it’s a complete reimagining of how the internet functions. At its core, Web3 is built on blockchain technology, the same underlying system that powers cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Unlike the current Web 2.0, where data and content are typically controlled by centralized entities (think Google, Facebook, Amazon), Web3 aims to decentralize the web, giving power back to the users.
Key features of Web3 include:
Decentralization: Web3 operates on a decentralized network of computers rather than a single server. This decentralization reduces the risk of censorship, improves security, and fosters a more democratic internet.
Blockchain and Smart Contracts: Blockchain technology provides a transparent and immutable ledger, ensuring data integrity. Smart contracts automate agreements, eliminating the need for intermediaries.
Digital Ownership: In Web3, users have true ownership of their digital assets. Whether it’s cryptocurrency, NFTs (non-fungible tokens), or personal data, users control their own information and transactions.
Interoperability: Web3 platforms are designed to be interoperable, meaning that different systems can work together seamlessly, allowing for greater innovation and collaboration.

The Benefits of Web3: A Positive Outlook
Web3 is not just a technological upgrade; it’s a catalyst for social and economic change. Here’s how Web3 is set to benefit individuals, businesses, and society at large:
1. Empowering Individuals with Data Ownership
One of the most significant promises of Web3 is the return of data ownership to individuals. In the current web, personal data is often harvested and monetized by large corporations without users’ explicit consent. Web3 changes this dynamic by giving users control over their data. Through decentralized identities and secure wallets, individuals can choose what information they share, with whom, and under what terms. This shift not only enhances privacy but also empowers users to monetize their data directly if they wish.
2. Fostering Economic Opportunities through Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
Web3 is at the heart of the decentralized finance (DeFi) revolution, which is transforming traditional financial systems. DeFi platforms operate without centralized authorities, offering financial services such as lending, borrowing, and trading directly on the blockchain. This democratization of finance opens up opportunities for millions of people worldwide who are unbanked or underbanked, giving them access to financial tools previously unavailable to them. Additionally, DeFi platforms often offer better interest rates and lower fees than traditional banks, making finance more inclusive and equitable.
3. Revolutionizing Digital Art and Creativity with NFTs
The rise of NFTs has captured the imagination of artists, creators, and collectors around the world. NFTs allow creators to tokenize their work, creating a unique digital asset that can be bought, sold, or traded on the blockchain. This not only provides artists with a new revenue stream but also ensures that they retain ownership and royalties for their work. For collectors, NFTs offer a way to own and invest in digital art, creating a new market that blends creativity with technology. Web3’s infrastructure makes this possible by ensuring the authenticity, scarcity, and provenance of digital assets.
4. Enhancing Security and Reducing Censorship
In a world where cyber threats and online censorship are growing concerns, Web3 offers a more secure and resilient alternative. Decentralized networks are inherently more secure because they don’t rely on a single point of failure. Additionally, because Web3 operates on a peer-to-peer network, it’s much harder for governments or corporations to censor content or shut down services. This makes Web3 a powerful tool for protecting freedom of expression and ensuring access to information in regions where censorship is prevalent.
5. Promoting Innovation through Open-Source Development
Web3’s open-source nature encourages innovation and collaboration on an unprecedented scale. Developers around the world can contribute to Web3 projects, improving existing protocols and creating new applications. This collaborative environment accelerates technological advancements and ensures that Web3 remains adaptable and responsive to the needs of its users. For businesses, this means faster time-to-market for new products and the ability to tap into a global talent pool for cutting-edge solutions.
Web3 in Action: Real-World Applications
While the concepts behind Web3 may seem abstract, there are already numerous real-world applications that showcase its potential. Here are a few examples of how Web3 is being used today:
Decentralized Social Media: Platforms like Mastodon and Lens Protocol offer decentralized alternatives to traditional social media, where users have control over their data and content without relying on centralized servers.
Decentralized Marketplaces: OpenSea and Rarible are leading examples of decentralized marketplaces where users can buy, sell, and trade NFTs directly, without intermediaries.
Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs): DAOs are organizations governed by smart contracts on the blockchain, allowing for transparent and democratic decision-making processes. Examples include MakerDAO and Aragon.
Supply Chain Transparency: Companies like VeChain are using blockchain technology to improve supply chain transparency, ensuring that products are sourced ethically and sustainably.
Challenges and the Path Forward
Despite its immense potential, Web3 is not without its challenges. As with any emerging technology, there are hurdles to overcome before it can achieve widespread adoption. Some of these challenges include:
Scalability: Current blockchain networks can struggle with scalability, leading to slow transaction times and high fees during periods of high demand. However, ongoing research and development in areas like layer 2 solutions and sharding are addressing these issues.
User Experience: For many users, the complexity of interacting with Web3 applications can be a barrier to entry. Improving user interfaces and making Web3 more accessible to non-technical users is crucial for broader adoption.
Regulatory Uncertainty: As governments around the world grapple with the implications of decentralized technologies, regulatory frameworks are still evolving. Clear and fair regulations will be necessary to ensure that Web3 can thrive while protecting users and maintaining security.
Despite these challenges, the momentum behind Web3 is undeniable. With continued innovation and collaboration, Web3 has the potential to overcome these obstacles and fulfill its promise of a more open, equitable, and user-centric internet.
Conclusion: Embracing the Web3 Revolution
Web3 is not just a buzzword; it’s a transformative force that is reshaping the digital landscape. By decentralizing the internet, Web3 empowers individuals, fosters innovation, and creates new economic opportunities. From giving users control over their data to revolutionizing finance, art, and online interactions, Web3 holds the key to a future where the internet is truly for the people, by the people.
As we stand on the cusp of this new digital era, the possibilities are endless. Web3 invites us to imagine a world where technology serves humanity in ways we never thought possible. It’s an exciting time to be a part of this journey, and the best is yet to come. So, let’s embrace the Web3 revolution and unlock the full potential of a decentralized future.

What’s New in Laravel 9.0 – New Features & Updates
Tumblr media
Laravel is a popular open-source PHP web application framework known for its elegant syntax. It is an MVC framework that adheres to the MVC architectural pattern (model-view-controller) precisely and can be used to develop simple to sophisticated web applications in PHP. In recent years, Laravel has become one of the most widely used PHP frameworks for building robust and distinctive online projects. Laravel will now release new versions around every 12 months rather than on a six-monthly basis.
What’s Laravel 9?
The most recent version, Laravel 9, has a lot of new features. The first long-term support (LTS) release to be issued after the 12-month release cycle is Laravel 9, which was delayed to January 2022. PHP versions 8.0 and 8.1 are supported by Laravel 9, which provides two years of bug fixes and three years of security (will receive security fixes until February 2025).
Let's look at the improvements and new features included in Laravel's next major version.
Minimum PHP Requirement: For testing, Laravel 9 needs the most recent versions of PHP 8 and PHPUnit. This is due to the fact that Laravel 9 will use the most recent Symfony v6.0, which also needs PHP 8.
Symfony Mailer: You can easily start sending email through the local or cloud-based service of your choosing thanks to Symfony Mailer's drivers for SMTP, Mailgun, Postmark, Amazon SES, and Sendmail.
Flysystem 3.0: You are shielded against vendor lock-in with the fly system. It is a PHP library for file storage. It offers a single interface for interacting with many file system types.
Anonymous Stub Migration: It resolves a GitHub problem with duplicate migration class names. To take advantage of this functionality in Laravel 8, named migration classes are also backwards-compatible.
PHP 8 String Functions: When a string is found in another string, the function determines whether it is contained there and produces a boolean result (true/false).
Tumblr media
Let's look at what's new in Laravel 9 and why you should migrate from Laravel 8 to Laravel 9.
Symfony Mailer:
For your mobile application, Laravel 9 has switched from the SwiftMailer library to the Symfony Mailer library, which offers more consistency.
Default HTTP Client Timeout:
For HTTP clients, Laravel 9 has a default timeout of 30 seconds. This action will assist in preventing hangs that happened with the previous version.
Flysystem 3.0:
Flysystem 1. x has been replaced by Flysystem 3. x in Laravel version 9. x, which now powers the Storage facade's file manipulation methods.
How to Install the Latest Laravel 9.0
The methods shown below will assist you in upgrading to Laravel 9 and walk you through the straightforward installation process.
Step:1  Create a Laravel project using the below command:
composer create-project –prefer-dist laravel/laravel laravel-9-dev test-laravel9
Step: 2  If you have a Laravel installation, proceed to the next step.
laravel new laravel-9-dev –dev
Step: 3  After installing Laravel 9, use this command to check your version.
cd dev-laravel9
PHP artisan –version

However, it feels like a clear sign that even now, Hoyoverse is still interested in improving fundamental aspects of the game, including locomotion.Interested in casting spells or learning to walk the magickal path yourself? Of course, I wouldn’t expect developers to go back and add them to earlier regions. I love it so much I’ve even started fantasizing about other places in ancient regions that might benefit from it. (Also, the item would disappear after 15 seconds.) The four-leaf sigil doesn’t use a tiny limited-time item that forces people to manage the countdown. It works similar to the Four Leaf Seal in that it allows you to travel fast and take to the skies, except it was more annoying because you had to collect another separate item called the Electrogranum before you could fly. As the game has evolved from its already ambitious launch, we’ve seen the developers not only increase the size of the game, but consistently refine the mechanics from region to region.Įarlier regions like the stormy island chain of Inazuma share a similar feature. The game is literally getting bigger, and what we’re able to play today feels like an ever-growing number of regions to explore. In the past this has worked so that we get more and more regions over time. Genshin Impact is an open world game with live service. And while all the flashy additions are certainly welcome, flourishes like the addition of these sigils feel like a true example of how far the game has come.
#PROTECTION SIGIL UPDATE#
The 3.0 Sumeru update brought many new features to the game – a lush new region to explore, new characters and a new story.
#PROTECTION SIGIL PATCH#
The addition is part of a new patch released on Tuesday. I got caught in a sweeping river so quickly I forgot to unlock a waypoint to stop at along the way.Īn image of the four-leaf seal in action Image: Hoyoverse via Polygon As you fly, you can string together movements from sigil to sigil and experience an almost Spider-Man-esque rhythm as moving from point to point turns from a time-consuming task into an intriguing pleasure. Interacting with it allows you to soar through the air and speed along a varied and intricate jungle path. The four-leaf sigil, named for its shamrock-like shape, is a new feature of Sumeru update 3.0 in the open-world exploration game. After hearing my character grunt and gasp from climbing and running, using this four-leaf sigil makes me feel light for the first time. The game prompts an image showing a tutorial, and if you press the correct keys, your anime-style character will transform into a glowing ball of gold and race towards the symbol via a gold vine. For the first few steps after entering the region, the game will indicate a small four-leaf icon hanging in the sky. Climb the steep, sheer, mountainous cliffs of a long-abandoned mine, jog through the dark, torch-lit rock tunnel and you’ll be immersed in a lush green jungle Genshin Impact‘s new Sumeru region.

All About Web 3.0 and the Future Ahead
What Is Web 3.0? The Future of the Internet “Hey Siri, What’s the current price of gold?”“I can’t get any information about this commodity. Sorry about that.”Siri has only accepted a few commands that it can carry out for the longest period. For instance, simple actions like reminders and instructions to the nearest grocery store. All thanks to the pre-programmed algorithms in the iPhone. However, these can only do simple internet searches and provide equally basic responses based on store location. You can read more about the voice search technology and how you can leverage it as a marketer here! Moreover, this is only true if the store has a website that clearly displays directions; otherwise, the search results may be inaccurate. In Web 3.0, however, asking Siri how to build an outhouse would result in step-by-step instructions without the need to go to a web site.📷 All About Web 3.0 and the Future AheadWith Web 3.0, instead of the unpleasant “I don’t know,” Siri and other personal assistants will increasingly be able to provide decisive answers to questions posed by users. But How?Web 3.0 is a unified Web experience. Under this, machines can comprehend and catalog data in the same manner that humans do. The information gathered will be organized in a hierarchical fashion. Therefore, data with comparable features could be linked and consumer-specific information could be retrieved quickly and effectively.Web 3.0, according to Wolfram, is when computers, rather than humans, will create new information.Sounds fascinating, right? So, let’s dive into the world of the Web and learn about its evolution, future and Web 3.0 marketing. The Web has evolved in its own unique way as a catalyst for technical innovation. The Evolution of the Web: Web 1.0 to Web 3.0 The Web has evolved in its own unique way as a catalyst for technical innovation. It moved from the static informing properties of Web 1.0 to the interactive experience provided by Web 2.0. Without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at each stage.Web 1.0 The early days of the Internet were dominated by information delivered via static websites with no opportunity for interaction. It was primarily created by information portals with flat material that allowed visitors to “just” read but not submit any comments, reviews, or feedback. The British Encyclopedia (or any other traditional encyclopedia) is a quintessential example of this initial period of the Internet, as it “simply” digitalized the content. In short, shifting it from offline to online but without allowing users to contribute or create new content.Web 2.0 The capabilities to communicate, share information, add content, and trade data define Web 2.0. It is the second stage of the World Wide Web’s evolution. This age, also known as participatory. It allows all users to participate, create online material (user-generated content), and interact with other users effortlessly (usability). The transition is from the “readable” to the “writable” phase, from passive users (consuming content) to active users (creating content), and from the static to the dynamic web!You can read more about the Web 2.0 and 10 best Web 2.0 websites for SEO here.Web 3.0 Web 3.0, the next step in the evolution of Web, is already underway. As previously stated, it would enable a global data warehouse in which any data format may be transferred and interpreted by any device across any network. It is important to emphasize that web 3.0 does not imply the creation of a new Web. But rather an expansion of the technologies that currently exist in Web 2.0.Web 3.0 and Blockchain Blockchain is the cornerstone for Web 3.0 since it resolves the majority of the flaws that plagued Web 2.0.Blockchain is no longer only about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general. It is a disruptive and revolutionary technology. And it will have a significant impact on a wide range of areas in our lives. One can compare the revolution generated by the World Wide Web and the Internet in general to the revolutionary power of such technology.Web 3.0 users have complete
control and ownership of their data thanks to blockchain technology. Data will be encrypted as it travels via the network, ensuring its security. The web will become more user-centric as a result of blockchain, making it more user-friendly.What are the Key Elements of Web 3.0? The fundamental architecture of Web 3.0 has yet to be determined. However, there is universal agreement on several of the main qualities that this new version of the internet will have:Semantic Web Web 3.0 will be able to evaluate and act on a vast ecosystem of digital information as part of its underlying operational paradigm by building complex linkages between user behavior, web services and other contextual data. This innovation will enable unparalleled data communication and will represent a considerable divergence from the current internet model, which is based on keywords and organized numerical values. In many ways, the Semantic Web’s purpose is to make online data machine-readable, thereby boosting its overall efficiency and efficacy.Artificial Intelligence Advanced artificial intelligence (AI) software capable of decrypting natural language and comprehending user intent will power Web 3.0’s semantic web. Therefore, compared to the current internet, which is still heavily reliant on direct user inputs, the new internet is projected to enable more natural, user-centric interactions. These AI techniques will also be critical in ensuring the integrity of Web 3.0’s content ecosystem by distinguishing credible material from low-quality or fraudulent uploads.Visual Immersion Virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) experiences are currently available thanks to current technology. Web 3.0, on the other hand, will expand the usage of 3D graphics and virtual reality technology. Therefore, blurring the lines between the physical and digital worlds. This immersive technology will enable new ways to interact with products and services, as well as display and retrieve information. All thanks to Web 3.0’s ability to represent actual items in the digital domain and vice versa!Secure and Ubiquitous Data Web 3.0 will usher in a new era of networked Internet of Things (IoT) devices and multiplatform interoperability, but the data stored and shared on this new internet will be more secure and adaptable than present web data. This will be facilitated by Web 3.0’s decentralized network infrastructure will help reduce the danger of centralized server outages, eliminate non-value-adding middlemen, and give consumers complete control over their data.Web 3.0 may also make it possible for applications to be more device-agnostic and allow different types of hardware and software platforms to communicate with one another without causing operational friction or incurring additional development costs. In Short The Key elements of Web 3.0 are:The emergence of new programming languages that can categorize and modify data, allowing machines to understand data and the sentences that describe it. The skill to extract contextual information from a Web search and organize it in a hierarchical fashion based on related features for quick and precise retrieval. The capacity to get data from a broader and more diverse range of sources, including previously walled apps. The ability for all types of devices and machines to create and share all types of data over all types of networks. Why Will Web 3.0 Be Useful? Web 3.0 will provide machines the ability to categorize and add meaning to data, expanding the Web’s spectrum of applications and opening up new possibilities.1. Greater User Utility Consumers, developers, and machines all will be working together more now. Information will become more integrated and precise, widely available, and valuable to information consumers as Web 3.0 enables machines to read, understand, and reason with information on the Web.2. Easy Data Management Web 3.0’s autonomous properties will reduce data administration workloads and enable new intuitive and personalized Web services. In this context, web services refer to websites that can not only give
static information and allow users to engage and contribute information, but also generate new online services based on user preferences.3. Agent Based Distributed Computing It refers to a shift in computing paradigm from information being delivered via a client/server initiative to information being gathered and distributed independently.4. Assist in Effective Research The potential of Web 3.0 to autonomously integrate and arrange data will improve the accuracy and availability of research data repositories. This will improve knowledge management and allow for more efficient and collaborative research with fewer constraints (such as language barriers). It will also aid in the development of business intelligence and big data skills.5. Better Search Experience Web 3.0 will address the shortcomings of existing search engines, which lack coherence in two key areas: resource reliability and relevance of information found. Natural language processing and Web 3.0 will allow a search engine to categorize information based on context within a document, rather than just phrase detection. This, paired with data collected by AI, will allow users’ tastes to be better defined and searches to be more exact and tailored than is currently achievable with current algorithms.6. Benefit Marketing Schemes Consumers’ personal behaviors and information will be harvested by AI, resulting in a tailored Web experience and a plethora of inbound marketing opportunities. The dissemination of information to consumers who value it is known as inbound marketing.Inbound marketing’s major goal is to target individual consumers based on semantically connected market categories and to establish an electronic relationship with them by personalising their economical browsing experience. What is Web 3.0 Marketing? Web 3.0 marketing refers to the transition from Web 2.0 to the next wave, which is currently underway. Browsing behaviors, browsing ways, more intelligent information, the experience we seek, and the openness of the Internet primarily drives the Web 3.0 marketing.Customized, intelligent information is at our fingertips, on any device, from anywhere in the world in the Web 3.0 marketing universe!5 Key Trends of Web 3.0 Marketing Here are the key trends of Web 3.0 marketing you should know about.1. Microblogging It’s the skill to express yourself in a limited amount of characters. Since people are busy and have limited time, why not get down to the point of the narrative in 140 characters or less? For Example: Twitter, Pluck and Jaiku2. Virtual Reality Virtual Reality worlds are virtual environments where users can engage with people from all over the world in a three-dimensional setting. Meetings are held in these settings, while trade displays have been supplanted with virtual reality shows. For Example: Second Life, Funsites3. Customization It allows visitors to tailor their experience. They’ve grown accustomed to seeing their names at the top of websites, individualized emails, and even enhanced checkout choices tailored to their preferences. Customization will become the norm as the web grows more intelligent. For Example: Google, Amazon4. Increased Mobility It capitalizes on the fact that there are billions of cellphone users worldwide. This figure is substantially higher than the number of people who use computers. Consumers are using their mobile phones to browse the Internet, make purchases and everything imaginable. They’re also using their phones to become instant journalists by filming random acts with their phones! For Example: iPhones, BlackBerrys5. On-Demand Collaboration It lets users communicate in real time by reviewing papers, collaborating, and making changes. On-demand collaboration is also made possible by software as a service. It will allow users to employ just web-based solutions. For Example: Google Docs, SlideshareAdditional Tips for Web 3.0 Marketing You’ll need a basic toolkit of technology and expertise to get ready for Web 3.0 marketing. Here are the basics that we propose you start embracing and putting into practice in
your company.A system for sending voice broadbands to mobile phones, as well as SMS (text messages) A customer relationship management system that is accessible via the internet. A one-stop shop for gathering leads, controlling sales, and attracting affiliates. A solid programming team (or individual, to begin with), whether in-house or outsourced. This applicant should be able to create applications, work with open-source code, and, ideally, know Second Life programming. A platform that allows employees to connect and cooperate digitally across a corporation. You can use applications like Gmail, Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Chat, and Google Calendar. Endnotes While there are many parts of the Semantic Web that have yet to be explored, and much study to be done, this technology is obviously evolving into a major player in the modern Web cosmos. What are your thoughts on Web 3.0 and its applications? How Blockchain Web 3.0 Is Changing Industries
Tumblr media
In this article, we’re having a look at the impact of Web 3.0 and blockchain on traditional industries. But first, for those of you who are unfamiliar with Web 3.0, here is a quick recap.
Many experts and companies describe Web 3.0 in a different way. For example, Coinmarketcap describes Web 3.0 as an internet in which data will be interconnected in a decentralized way. Forbes describes Web 3.0 as something that will bring us a fairer internet by enabling the individual to be a sovereign. True sovereignty implies owning and being able to control who profits from one’s time and information.
And so, these definitions make one thing clear, Web 3.0 is all about decentralization and its users. In Web 3.0 machines and users can interact with data; however, this can only happen if programs understand information both conceptually and contextually. This leads us to the cornerstones of Web 3.0: semantic web and artificial intelligence (AI). Web 3.0 is driven by blockchain technology, decentralized protocols and cryptocurrencies and is opening the phase of the internet revolution in which the true power lies in the hands of the users.
Web 3.0 is preparing to change how businesses operate and how internet users interact with the digital world, thanks to the most disruptive technology of our time. In this article, we will look in-depth at Web 3.0 Blockchain.
The Benefits of Web 3.0
Web 3.0 features include pro-privacy and anti-monopoly models. It will not incentivize centralized platforms that retain control over their users’ data. A shift with decentralization and privacy at the forefront will happen. Users are now in control of their data, and tech monopolies on Web 3.0 will no longer exist, thus data privacy violations will almost never happen.
Secondly, Web 3.0 is a lot more secure than its predecessor's Web 1.0 and 2.0; because of the decentralized and distributed nature. On Web 3.0 it is almost impossible for hackers to penetrate the network without the operation being traced back to them. Additionally, the data generated by users that were previously owned by tech giants will now be owned by the users. Data transmitted over the network will be completely encrypted. Users will be able to choose which information they want to share with corporations and advertising firms, and they will be able to earn money from it.
Then, there is interoperability. Web 3.0 features enable users to access data across multiple applications without being restricted to a single platform. This means you won’t have to worry about one device having access to Web 3.0 while others don’t. Finally, Web 3.0 is based on permissionless blockchain, and thus, doesn’t need a central authority. Anyone will be able to join and participate in the network by creating an address. This will eliminate the possibility of users being barred based on their gender, income, orientation, geographical location, or other sociological factors. It will also make it possible to transfer digital assets and wealth across borders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Blockchain Web 3.0 In Different Industries
While blockchain Web 3.0 has the possibility to change many more industries, in this article we’ll expand on ten of them.
Finance and Banking
Decentralized Finance or Open Finance is already a 55 billion USD industry and digital currencies have already become a cross-border, global store of value. In fact, El Salvador recently became the first country to recognize cryptocurrency Bitcoin as their second national currency. DeFi is working hard on revolutionizing the banking and finance industry by making it more decentralized and giving authority back to its users. Furthermore, while digitizing currencies requires retooling in the banking system, Web 3.0 could make this possible. Moreover, securities and other tradable assets could also use blockchain signatures to ensure security and allow for around-the-clock trading.
Real Estate
A distributed ledger can also be used to record and manage land and resources. A global property ownership blockchain could be made up of satellite imagery, computer vision, and government records. Buying and selling real estate becomes as simple as transferring a digital certificate. Web 3.0 will make real estate transactions faster and easier in thriving economies. It can make a huge difference in the developing world for people who have lived on a piece of land for a long time but do not have any legal documentation of ownership.
Voting and Governance
Online voting has long been a dream of technophiles, dating back to the early days of the World Wide Web. The problem is that Web 1.0 and 2.0 don’t have good solutions for verifying identity, preventing duplicate voting, and protecting against attacks. Blockchain, AI, and facial recognition/biometrics assist in resolving these issues by enabling independent, verifiable online identities.
Advertising
Web 2.0 has had a significant impact on advertising, which has increasingly moved online. This means that companies have an incentive to collect and sell user data, which is bad for your privacy and attention. Furthermore, online ad fraud occurs when bad actors use bots to simulate impressions and clicks, charging advertisers for traffic that will never result in a purchase. Web 3.0 technologies will assist by keeping user data in users’ hands and allowing them to decide how to share or sell their information. By verifying impressions and clicks with the user’s identity, these new technologies will also prevent many types of ad fraud.
Computing and Data-Storage
Companies like Google Drive and Dropbox own massive amounts of user data, but they are centralized, vulnerable to attack, and expensive. A better solution could be to store data on unused space across thousands of computers on a decentralized network. Encryption and file sharding techniques enable this with redundancy and reduced vulnerability to attack. Furthermore, network node processing power is another resource for Web 3.0, and this decentralized infrastructure will become increasingly important as Web 3.0 matures.
Healthcare
From the standpoint of data security, storing data on the blockchain makes sense. It also has the added benefit of allowing your care providers to share your records if you give consent. Real-time health data will be able to write directly from your body to the blockchain as wearable devices and sensors become more popular. AI algorithms can then recommend when to see a doctor.
Social Networking and Other Entertainment Forms
Any service that requires login authentication and user data input could benefit from a distributed ledger that is encrypted. AI is already making recommendations for things to do, content to watch and read, and people to meet. To take it a step further, IoT in the real world, as well as augmented and virtual reality, have the potential to fundamentally alter how we interact online and in person.
Insurance
On a case-by-case basis, AI can learn to evaluate risk and assess claims. Then, when claims are filed, blockchain smart contracts can collect payments and automate payouts. Consider paying your car insurance on a daily or even hourly basis, with a higher premium when you’re stuck in traffic and a lower premium when your car is parked in your driveway.
Logistics
Blockchain technology has the potential to create a global ledger that makes the supply chain for products transparent. Furthermore, IoT sensors embedded in the products can update the blockchain ledger at each stage of production and shipment. Companies become more efficient when they have a clear view of the supply chain, and consumers can verify the sustainability of the products they buy.
Ecommerce
With Web 3.0 marketplaces will no longer need to rely on a central authority to bring buyers and sellers together. Instead, vendors can sell directly to consumers through open platforms.
Final Thoughts
As the blockchain space progresses, so do the implementations for Web 3.0. More and more use cases appear, and more and more people believe in a decentralized future. At Stakin, we are excited to see where Web 3.0 and blockchain will take us all.

Satellite image of the Vojvodina region of northern Serbia, taken by the Copernicus Sentinel-2A satellite. This is a striking, geographically textural area, with many agricultural field plots of varying width and length, along with an endlessly rich diversity of broad sweeping sculptural land features. Viewing the true colour satellite imagery on Google Maps is a rewarding experience, which I highly recommend.
From the original ESA post:
The image captured on 28 August 2016 is clearly in false colour, and different colours indicate varying vegetative states. For example, yellowish patches indicate soil or freshly ploughed land, while shades of blue (primarily in the lower left) indicate either the same crop or different crops at a similar stage of growth.
Sentinel-2’s main instrument has 13 spectral bands, and is designed to provide images that can be used to distinguish between different crop types as well as data on numerous plant features, such as active chlorophyll content and leaf water content, all of which are essential to accurately monitor plant growth.
This kind of information helps informed decisions to be made, whether they are about deciding how much water or fertiliser is needed for a maximum harvest or for forming strategies to address climate change. While this has obvious economic benefits, this kind of information is also important for developing countries where food security is an issue

7 Ways to Improve Your Computer Performance
Its inevitable that all computers will experience slower speeds at some point. As software becomes more demanding, the way in which your PC reacts to these changes can have a big impact on its performance. The operating system you have and whether you have chosen to upgrade to Windows 10 can also make a big difference.
Tumblr media
While you can make some
upgrades to your laptop
to make it run faster, there are some improvements you can make that are more cost-effective and straightforward to do. These minor adjustments may not seem like they will speed up your computer performance, but combined they can make it possible to keep your PC functional for a number of years.
There are also several types of software available that can help you to get rid of old files while locating applications that you don’t use often and may want to uninstall. These programs can also alert you to files and software that may be the
causes for a slow computer
and may ultimately be worth deleting. Here are seven ways you can improve computer speed and its overall performance.
1. Uninstall unnecessary software
Your computer comes preloaded with a number of applications that many people won’t use but that can eat up system resources. You can usually identify these when you see a pop-up prompting you to update a program you’ve never used before.
Remove them from your computer and free up disk space
Click on the "Start" button and visit the “All apps” menu
Here you can view a list of the applications you have installed - and the ones you haven’t
Once you find the program you want to uninstall, right-click on the icon to see the "Options" menu
Or, you can right-click on Start and visit Programs and Features. Windows assistant Cortana can also be helpful because it can perform a search for “Programs” in its search box. From there, you’ll find a record of which apps you’ve used recently and which take up the most space. After surveying what’s installed, you can decide which programs can be deleted to help improve system performance. You’ll also want to know which programs are required for your computer to run properly and which can be discarded. One of the reasons these applications slow down your PC is because they often start up automatically when you boot up your computer. If you aren’t sure whether you want these applications permanently erased, you can take a more an in-depth look at the applications you want to remove within the aforementioned menus.
2. Limit the programs at startup
Along the same lines, you can also determine which applications run when your PC boots up. Windows 10 has an updated Task Manager that makes it easier to determine what you want running in the background and what you can start on your own.
To access Task Manager, press Ctrl-Shift-Esc
A box will appear that lists all the applications you have installed on your computer
It also gives you a detailed account of the amount of RAM each program uses when you start your PC
To make an adjustment, just right-click on the application you want to change to tell it not to run until commanded
You can always change the settings if you notice that a program is no longer running that impacts how you use your PC. If in doubt, you can always restart your computer and see how it runs without certain applications available at startup.
3. Add more RAM to your PC
In terms of memory usage, Windows 10 uses less RAM than previous versions, but
increasing RAM memory
has been a tried-and-true way to speed up devices for years. If you have a
convertible or detachable laptop
, you’ll likely need to settle for what came in the box. Some business and gaming laptops make it possible to add RAM, but it can still be tricky. It’s much easier to add more RAM to desktop computers, and it’s much cheaper, too. Anyone with a basic idea of the interior of a desktop tower is capable of installing more RAM in an hour or so.You can also take your computer into a professional shop to have more RAM installed. If you’re worried about potentially compromising your system or doing this incorrectly, then having an opinion from someone who knows what he or she is doing can ease your mind and make adding extra memory easy.
4. Check for spyware and viruses
It’s almost impossible not to pick up a virus at some point while browsing the web, but the new Windows Defender software has made it easier than ever to find malware that may be causing major issues on your PC. Third-party programs are also easy to install and can be just as effective in removing any spyware or viruses you may have picked up.Some applications are better than others and some can take up more space, which can then cause issues with speed. Ideally, you want to find software that is efficient and removes malware completely, but that doesn’t take up too much space on your PC.
Consider installing two types of software for computer performance monitoring. Malware cleanup programs can solve lagging or blatant issues with speed or popups. However, you should also look into applications that offer ongoing protection and run in the background. Again, keep in mind that these antivirus programs take up space, so you want to choose one that is designed not to affect performance. A little research can help you to find the software that works within your budget or with your specific type of operating system. There can be compatibility issues if you’re downloading free software, so double-check everything before installing it so you don’t run into additional performance problems.
5. Use Disk Cleanup and defragmentation
Every computer has a number of files and programs on its hard drive that haven’t been used in a while or are unnecessary. Disk Cleanup allows you to find which applications and files can be deleted from your computer, freeing up drive space for the programs you will use.It is incredibly easy to access Disk Cleanup.
From the Start button or Cortana search box, you’ll be sent to the program
A quick scan will show you the temporary files, installer applications, and web pages that you haven’t used or no longer need
From there, it will automatically delete them and clear up some space
Disk Cleanup’s effectiveness depends on how much RAM you have on your PC, which can also cause your computer to run slower than it normally would. If this is the case, it may be a good idea to install more RAM on your device. You should also schedule disk defragmentation on a semi-regular basis so you can be aware of how much hard-drive space you have. Windows has an Optimize Drives tool, which you can access from the Start button or your Cortana search box. There are also a number of third-party programs that can be helpful in clearing out files that you don’t use anymore.
6. Consider a startup SSD
When you want better performance, a startup
solid-state drive
(SSD) can go a long way toward taking some of the pressure off the processor when your computer boots up. If you tend to run a number of applications at one time or use photo and video editing software, then a startup drive can go a long way toward making these programs run smoother and load faster. While they’re most commonly installed on desktop computers, SSDs can be used on some laptop models as well. When you don’t have the option of using an internal SSD, you can always purchase an
external drive
that connects to your PC with a USB 3.0. This drive can give you the extra push you need at startup to accomplish tasks and give you a boost for apps that need more temporary memory to run properly. You can find a number of SSD options that work within your budget depending on how you use your PC. Storage review sites online can be valuable sources of information when you want to choose the right drive for your computer and you need to know that it is compatible with your operating system.
7. Take a look at your web browser
Minor adjustments can often make a difference with the speed of your PC. Something as simple as which browser you use can slow down or speed up the rate at which web pages, videos, and images load. If you have been using a certain browser and notice that there is a lag time, consider an alternative to see if the loading speeds are better. The type of browser you use is not only the thing that may be slowing down your computer when you’re using the web. If you have a full cache that has not been emptied in a while, then you’ll want to visit your settings and make sure that it’s empty.Your cache comprises what you pick up when you are visiting various websites. Many sites use cookies in order to figure out your browsing habits and the ads you may click when you visit a site will leave one too. A cache holds these files as information and if you spend a lot of time online, these files can accumulate and cause your computer to run more slowly. Fortunately, it’s an easy fix. There are two ways to do this in the more popular web browsers:

Public Health Campaigns
Health Communication and Social Media – Covid-19
Rising the use of social networks is one of the most far-reaching effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from conventional newspapers, which are the primary generators of social networking in crisis situations, person identities have arisen sponsored by social networks, which have had a similar effect on more niche communication media. This is the premise of the study presented, which focuses on health connectivity and is based on a simulated ethnography approach using social indicators. The goal is to understand the relationship between the general public and digital media , in particular through interaction measurement. In this respect, a quantitative analysis has been carried out that explains this problem over a span of six months on three social networks: YouTube, Twitter and Instagram, with a population made up of specialist health media vs healthcare practitioners.  The results point to a new communications model that opens up a new space for agents whose content has a degree of engagement comparable to and even exceeding that of digital media specialized in health communication. The conclusions show that the crisis of the pandemic has accelerated the transformation of the communication sector, creating new challenges for the communication industry, media professionals, and higher education institutions related to market demands.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Social Networks and Their Reach: The Fifth Power
Without a question, the study of the present realities of connectivity is concerned with the perception of any phenomena as a result of its effect on social networks. If the most common activity in the 20th century to locate information was to sit in front of a TV, purchase daily newspapers, or listen to radio newsletters in the 21st century, it is more common to type search words into an internet browser on any device — smartphone, mobile, computer. Social networks have become constant networking channels that link almost half of the world's people , making them more solid and in direct competition with the networking and journalism as players in the information-communication process.
Their influence and dissemination around the world have turned 'homo videns' into 'homo socialis,' and the importance of these events needs the attention of modern communication processes. The phenomenon impacts half of the world 's population. According to the We are Social Report, a total of 3.8 billion people are linked to social networks, with an annual average increase of 13 per cent from 2017, which means an average of 363 million new users of social networks each year. If the January 2020 study reported an improvement of 7 per cent in the use of the Internet in global terms relative to the previous year, i.e. 298 million new users, the rise of active users of social networks grew by 9.2 per cent compared to the previous year, which suggests that 321 million additional users connect on the networks.
Thus, if the 20th century was characterised by the great communication empires and news organisations that controlled the information world — Murdoch, Reuters, Havas, Associated Press, EFE — in the 21st century, the mastery of data falls to the major technology firms. The health crisis has brought to light the hegemony of those who have perfected the flow of knowledge across the major media networks, subdued the communications sector, overwhelmed by a saturation of knowledge, and expected a revolution in the advertising business model. As behemoths of big data and gatekeepers faced with an avalanche of false news that started to circulate on the internet thanks to COVID-19, great technology firms responded. Conscious of their ability to reach and effect, the seven most important corporations in the sector — Facebook , Google, Twitter , YouTube, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Reddit — published a joint statement on 17 March 2020 in favour of a mutual commitment to eradicate misleading and deceptive knowledge and to endorse the content of health-related government channels and authorities around the world. In these seven giants, it is important to remember that Google owns LinkedIn among its various platforms, the YouTube network, and Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in 2016, so that the amount in concentration is currently limited to just five big corporations.
Tumblr media
The rapid growth of Web 2.0, which has been converted to 3.0 with the advent of artificial intelligence and big data, by the use of algorithms that optimise the media menu of consumers, contributes greatly not only to dramatically transforming the consumption of content in all fields and in all domains of expertise, and especially health-related information, but also to amplifying the abibiology. Its ability to attract viewers simply de-thrones the conventional media in the fight for viewers or in the sale of the written word. Although it is true that the simplicity with which information is conveyed in these contact spaces makes them the target of false news and hoaxes, it is no less true that their ability to access viewers has resulted in the emergence of skilled, specialist outlets whose function as information providers has been beneficial and genuine. Thanks to social networks, skilled staff from multiple sectors have had the ability to deliver vitally valuable knowledge to the population, in place of some other institutional agency or communication media, and in a more straightforward way. Here lies the importance of the present study, which analyses some of the key profiles of health communication since the COVID-19 pandemic, as far-reaching social trends and valid alternatives to the flow of information – communication since times of crisis.
youtube
Engagement and the Potential of Social Networks
In the context of the study of social networks , new related concepts have arisen that give philosophical support and abstract meaning to the phenomena, in order to clarify the number of users that the networks pull together around individual profiles. The exacerbated desire to seek information when confronted with a crisis situation produces an inconceivable anxiety for awareness, and this makes it easier to connect with health providers who have a presence through social networks. Commitment, as a semantic interpretation of the phenomena, means a massive follow-up of particular profiles and, from a psychological point of view, an immersive and co-creative experience as a reaction to a stimulus (in this case, the COVID-19 crisis) with respect to an entity, i.e. a profile that becomes a communication – information referent.
One of the most important emerging topics identified in the literature on social media is, without a doubt, interaction as a psychological incentive that results in the act of following. Its research takes us closer to the model of connectivity that comes from the online world. This model is particularly interesting in a situation that sees the inflexion point of a new contact domain in the exchange of producer-consumer and medium-audience positions.
The engagement research has been interpreted from a number of viewpoints as a multi-dimensional concept that describes various forms of commitments and has become particularly relevant with the spread of connexions across social networks. According to Barger and Labrecque, four separate degrees of participation can be formed in social networks, taking into account the level of involvement of the user: (1) the observer — content is consumed but there is no interaction or purpose to follow; (2) the follower — content is consumed and the following profile that produced it begins, with the first degree of interaction seen as the follow-up active user moves to a second level of participation in which not only does the user ingest content posted and follow the profile, but also regularly engages with likes, retweets / reposts and comments; and (4) advocate — this is a higher level of involvement in which, apart from following and engaging, content is generated and posted that supports the profile or company that is being followed. It is in the sense of the last two forms of interaction that the present analysis examines the study of audiences in social networks and the creation of metrics, with indices focused on the features of each social network being analysed.
Tumblr media
One of the key findings confirmed by the study proposed is that the transformation of the media flow into digital and global operation, available to all actors, suggests that conventional connectivity is no longer unique and this has been illustrated more than ever by the health crisis brought on by COVID-19. The condition has been reflected in the key role of social networks as alternate or parallel spheres for the exploration of knowledge and the consumption of material, as previously discussed in other works. The evidence from this analysis supports this notion, leading us to believe that, considering the fact that the specialist contact channels analyzed were involved in social networks, with an average number of 121,252 tweets, the followers' attitude displayed an average similarity of 149 points below that reached by health professional profiles with half the number of tweets released. YouTube evidence also confirms this observation and pattern, but it is more prominent: relative to the number of videos posted by health-based contact channels, 20,483, with an average of four comments, the health professional profiles, amid the 72-fold decline in the number of videos released (281), earned an average of 300 comments.

Smartphones and their Impact on Language and Literacy.
While smartphones give us countless affordances and enrich our daily lives, many are concerned with what impact smartphones have on our language and literacy skills.
Smartphones use technologies that do not require the users to type out their requests or controls anymore. For example, the development of Siri on Apple iPhones allow users to send text messages without typing using speech-to-text technologies. When the general public first used mobile phones as a primary form of communication, teachers believed it was 'text talk' and 'textism' that threatened the English language. Tagg highlights this by stating how "A moral panic is said to occur when widespread fears of a somewhat abstract and vague threat to the social order are expressed in reactions against something more specific and concrete - drug use, vicious dogs, teachers' perceived inadequacies, digitalese - where the specific case in fact represents wider social issues' (Tagg, 2015, p.24).
Tumblr media
(Image taken from: https://www.gizbot.com/internet/features/text-speak-oldest-things-in-the-internet-world/articlecontent-pf74879-041025.html)
While it is common to assume that today's youth are incapable of reading and writing English to the standard upheld in prior years due to the creation and popularity of textism, this is not factually true. Studies reflect how children are perfectly capable of recognising the difference between digitalese and standard English language, "findings suggest that children's knowledge of textisms is not associated with poor written language outcomes for children in this age range." (Plester et al. 2008). It can be argued that today's youth are more competent than before when it comes to language and literacy as they usually spend their free time in online spaces that generate new terminology and language. Younger people (Millenials and Gen Z) are creating new terms and words while also maintaining their standard English level, which is far more than previous generations were doing. It is often felt like teenagers today speak a different language due to the amount of new terminology and slang that is being developed, primarily through smartphones. People are not misspelling words while texting or messaging, but instead, they are respelling for efficiency and are aware of the difference.
People today can communicate far more effectively than ever before, thanks to smartphones. What started as text talk and digitalese has now developed into emojis, gifs and memes. People do not have to use words to communicate anymore; it can be done through symbols and pictures. The complexity of the use of emojis is fascinating. As Eric Goldman states, "An emoji symbol might be used for different functions in the same message; or different emoji symbols might perform the same function in a single message." (Goldman, 2018.)
Tumblr media
(Image by Alejandro Migueles Osuna. Taken from: https://netivist.org/debate/emoji-text-messages)
People are also reading and writing a lot more than they did before smartphones and technological developments. Thanks to web 3.0, we can now comment our views and opinions on the media we consume, for example, leaving reviews on apps, comments on YouTube videos, posting on someone's Facebook timeline.
Ultimately, smartphones have had an overwhelmingly positive impact on language and literacy. While we perhaps do not physically type as much as we did a few years ago due to smartphones' technological advancement, the impact is still positive.
