I always have to force myself to not put too much time into these Quartett pieces, still this one took way too long because I changed up Fëanor's face like 5 times 🥲 (and I'm still not super happy)

Just noticed that, when Fëanor goes and confront Fingolfin in front of his father, he is not just carrying a sword, but "fully armed : his high helm upon his head", which brings the following observations/questions :
apparently nobody batted an eyelid when Fëanor just strode around the place, or got into the palace, wearing full combat equipment (with a helm !!!) ;
does this mean that people are just used to Fëanor strutting around the place in his little warrior kit, or wearing all sorts of outlandish outfits ?
what other kinds of crazy outfits is Fëanor in the habit of wearing ? Does he have a smithing outfit (probable) ? A huntsman outfit (to go with Tyelko) ? A bard outfit ? A gardener outfit ? A firefighter outfit ?
"Who's that over there, carrying a trident and a fishing net ? Someone from King Olwë's retinue ?" No, it's just prince Fëanáro in his outfit du jour. The day before he was wearing a bearskin and nothing else. Tomorrow, who knows ?

Just something about how Elrond is described as "kind as summer." You can't go wrong with that. Elrond is amazing.
But the history of Elrond is so fucking tragic — if anything, Elrond should be turned evil, like Fëanáro or Maedhros.
But he didn't.
He lost his parents, his brother, his foster parents, his wife, his daughter, etc... and yet he's an amazing person.
Elrond being one of the bad guys would have been understandable. But he chose to be a good person who helped maintain the stability of Middle-Earth.
Despite all his pain, grief, losses, etc — Elrond chose to stay patient and prevent more people from experiencing the same losses he did.
This just shows one of the many different outcomes of pain that Tolkien presents; rather than going mad, like Fëanáro, or becoming an anti-hero, like Maedhros, or even disappearing, like Maglor, Elrond chose to stay sane and be a hero for Middle-Earth.

the creator and father of fire
It's Dad!
I'd like to emphasize his creator status more than the rebel of fate and the source of Nordor's doom
I think he'd prefer his status as a great scholar.

Today's speed paint is a frankly indecent Feanor: no jewels, no braids, just flowy hair in the wind… I'm almost ashamed of myself! Maybe I should tag it NSFW? XD
I hope you don't mind too much <;

Time-traveling Galadriel will not let all that sh*t happen again
Galadriel, tying Feanor up and gaging him, before he can speak the oath: Now, uncle Feanaro, all of us are doing this because we care about you, okay? Fingolfin: Except for me. I just wanted to see the look on your face.

So most people know feanor by the sindarin version of his name but did Feanaro die before he became known as Feanor? I can picture a reembodied Feanaro getting annoyed at what he probably thinks is everyone mispronouncing his name.

Firmly believing in the fact that Maedhros being one of the most formidable of the Fëanàrions is due to the pent-up anger and frustration he has of being the oldest sibling.
Maglor is a close second because look at then both: they survived 4 kinslayings together.
